CATHOLIC: [9:24] – “Despite popular myth, the Church did not burn heretics. It was the secular authorities that held heresy to be a capital offense. The simple fact is that the medieval Inquisition saved uncounted thousands of innocent (and even not-so-innocent) people who would otherwise have been roasted by secular lords or mob rule.

HATE CRIMES: I have a fundamental problem with the very concept of “hate” being criminalized. We have laws about bad behavior; adding laws about bad thoughts is dangerous to our constitutional freedoms.

There is a case in Colorado that has had an appalling outcome that just adds fuel to my concerns. Anderson Lee Aldrich pleaded guilty to opening fire at a nightclub in 2022, killing 5 and injuring 19. He has been sentenced to 55 concurrent life sentences, plus 2,000 years. Why so harsh? The nightclub served the alphabet community, so, of course, it must have been a “hate crime.” Never mind that Aldrich never said why he he did it.

In 2021, Darrell Brooks drove his SUV through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, killing six and injuring 61. Those killed included four members of the “Dancing Grannies” group, one man, and an 8-year-old boy. Brooks was convicted of six counts of first-degree intentional homicide, six counts of hit-and-run causing death, and 61 counts of recklessly endangering safety. He was sentenced to six life sentences, plus 765½ years. Like Aldrich, Brooks never said why he did it.

When did our justice system become so perverted that the lives of five homosexuals getting drunk and hooking up at a night club could be deemed more than ten times as valuable as the lives of six grandmothers and children attending a Christmas parade?

LOUISIANA: As of two days ago, Louisiana schools that receive state funds must display the Ten Commandments “in each building it uses and classroom in each school under its jurisdiction.” The bill specifies that the text must be presented at the main focal point of a poster or framed document measuring at least 11 inches by 14 inches and printed in a “large and easily readable font.” It also requires a 200-word “context statement” explaining that the Ten Commandments were “a prominent part of American public education for almost three centuries.”

TRANS: Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder. So are phobias. We are not the ones who are ignorant about science here. A massive, years-long study entitled “Gender identity disorders among young people in Germany: prevalence and trends, 2013–2022. An analysis of nationwide routine insurance data” was recently published in Aerzteblatt (German: Doctor’s Sheet). It reported that a super majority of young people who identify as transgender will grow out of it in five years.

TURKEY: Turkey joined the ranks of more than 20 countries that have been consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Monsignor Marek Solczyński, apostolic nuncio to Turkey, presided over the consecration to the Sacred Heart at St. John’s Cathedral, Izmir, “surrounded by almost all the bishops of the country’s four Catholic communities — Latin, Armenian, Syriac, and Chaldean.

The company’s TikTok account was permanently suspended because “it doesn’t comply with our advertising policies.”

TikTok is owned by the Chinese internet company ByteDance. The parent company, ByteDance, is based in Beijing, China. Since both the government and the culture in China are hostile to transgender identifying people, it makes one wonder why TikTok is a primary promoter of the movement. Hmm, let me think …

GRAMMY NOTES: I took a “What animal are you?” personality test and scored high on “Beaver.” All I can say here is, “Yes.

CATHOLIC: It is a myth that the Catholic Church was opposed to vernacular translations of the Bible. Where such things were banned, it was only in response to breakaway sects using bad translations to attack Catholic teachings.

In the late fourth century, St. Jerome translated the Hebrew and Greek texts into the vernacular Latin of his day. And, as Christianity spread to various peoples that had not been part of the Roman Empire, the Church’s Bible translations are often the oldest surviving texts in their languages. An Old High German version of the Gospel of Matthew dates from 748. Sts. Cyril and Methodius translated the Bible into Old Slavonic in the late 9th century. In the 10th century, it was translated in to Arabic.

Among many of the European vernacular languages, translations came late, not because of reluctance by the Church, but because these languages were in flux and did not have vocabularies capable of accurately translating the meaning. The Bible was translated into Old French and Castilian Spanish in the 13th century, into Czech and Lithuanian in the 14th century, into Welsh and Italian in the 14th century, into Hungarian in the 15th century.

Graphic above shows a page from the German Wenceslas Bible made for King Wenceslaus IV of Bohemia in the 1390s.

CORI BUSH: Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves.” (Matthew 7:15) – Two years ago this Squad member published her autobiography. In it, she claims to have performed miraculous healings. But check out the way she describes it:

As I learned how to apply God’s Word to my life in new ways, I better understood the power that was already residing in me,” Bush wrote of her abilities in The Forerunner: A Story of Pain and Perseverance in America. “It was there, waiting for me to acknowledge it, to use it. I had the confidence to heal others with God’s power.

No. No. And no. Phrases like “new ways” and “power residing in me“ are New Age red flags. She may have prayed over people and seen health problems go away, but the fact is that Satan can appear to cause a healing if he was the source of the illness in the first place.

Yes, some people have a gift of healing. But it’s not a power. God alone does the healing.

A GOD THING: On June 7, 2024, two teenaged swimmers were attacked by a shark off Rosemary Beach, Florida. Several brave men rushed into the huge amount of blood to beat off the shark and bring the girls to shore where they were met by two doctors and two trauma nurses who were vacationing at the same beach. The team quickly worked to stabilize the girls while beach patrol and first responders rushed to the scene. One of their co-workers said, “It had to be a God thing. All of those people being in the exact place where they were needed was a miracle.”

Lulu Gribbin’s friend, Lila, escaped with flesh wounds. Lulu (photo above) lost one of her hands and most of one leg. Lulu’s mom says Lulu continues to surprise her and her dad with her attitude, strength, humor, and understanding of what happened. When her twin sister, Ellie, said she was sad that Lulu wouldn’t play volleyball again, her grandma said, “That is ok because Lulu wanted to become a doctor and she doesn’t need volleyball to be a doctor.

ABORTION: A Gen Zer on TikTok posted a video in which she said, “I just heard about some people from my high school who like accidentally got pregnant and the girl has apparently decided to keep the baby! And my first thought is like, ‘What? I’m like our state is pro-choice, you can get rid of it!‘ And I said that to a mutual friend and she said, ‘yeah, but you can also choose to keep it’ … I don’t know if I’m pro-choice. I think I’m ‘pro a-lot-of-people-I-know-shouldn’t-be-parents-yet.’”

CALIFORNICATION: A Silver Lake council member named “Maebe A. Girl” has succeeded in getting “No U-Turn” signs removed from a gay neighborhood, because … you guessed it … they’re “homophobic.”

CENSORSHIP: A 20-year employee of a Youngstown, Ohio, news station has been fired for sharing the above meme on her personal (but “company-linked”) Facebook page. NBC forced her to apologize before canning her and issuing their own apology that stated, “We do not condone such actions.”

SCOTUS: On Friday, the Supremes ruled 5-4 to remove one of the reasons illegals use to challenge deportation. As per usual, the vote was conservatives vs. liberals.

TERROR: On Sunday, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-Ohio) said, “We are at the highest level of a possible terrorist threat.” he also said it was “the administration’s policies” that got us here.

Chloe Cole Now

[2:43:23] – Full length discussion with famous detransitioner, Chloe Cole, on Pints with Aquinas. Below are some choices from the comments:

Awesome to see how much she’s grown and gotten stronger since the Peterson episode. God bless her.

Eastern Orthodox ex transgender person here, if anyone wants to pray for me that would be great. It’s been really tough lately. Glory to Jesus Christ!

Transitioned at 28. De-transitioning at 38. Stopped the medication three weeks ago. It feels really lonely. I don’t think even my church, Episcopal, is going to be very supportive. I’m just trying to trust God and clean up my mess.

Former transgender here. My story is very similar to Chloe’s, albeit I was a male “transitioning” to female. Rough childhood, unstable home, sexual abuse, minimal social life. I was also encouraged by doctors and mental health professionals to continue with the transition. I thank the Lord that He shielded me from the medical side of things and healing me of my gender dysphoria. I was Protestant for a few years, but am now fully received into the Catholic Church since Easter. God loves you, He will heal you and save from this darkness. Glory to the Triune God ️

I love it when she says she realized, “”There’s nothing I could ever be but a woman. And it’s not easy. But it’s not about easy. It’s a gift.”

As a former lgbt community member myself, I’m so proud that we are rallying together to support each other in this month. Prayers for Chloe Cole!!!

Chloe Cole was one of the people who helped me realize at 18 why I wanted to transition and why it was so harmful. I’m grateful to her for sharing her story, especially the gruesome details. We share many of the same reasons that drove us to want to transition. I lived as a transman ages 14-28. I detransitioned a year ago. Medical complications made detransition extremely difficult, but I am endlessly grateful that I was healed in a very deep way and liberated from a disorder that makes your life absolute hell. For those of us who actually had this condition, transgenderism, it was the worst physical torture and I would not wish it on my worst enemies. It’s absolutely delusional and CRUEL to try pushing people into this condition- which will either be totally artificial because they don’t legitimately have transgenderism, or will be a deeper hell by entrenching them in a disorder that did not happen naturally.

Chloe is so articulate in revealing how our current culture has created a perfect storm for gender dysphoria to arise. What a beautiful and brilliant person.

Chloe’s courage in the face of the Trans-activists backlash and vilification is truly astounding. What a woman

She brought up all of the factors we should be talking about – history of abuse, broken families, autism, social media fixation, overconsumption of anime and manga. It’s crazy how 99.9% of the time you’ll find some form of this cocktail in transgender people. And of course P, especially with men.

It’s so sad and frustrating that Chloe was failed at every single stage of her adolescence. By her parents, peers, doctors, teachers, etc… God bless her.

Chloe seems like such a sweet and kind young woman with such a big heart, which only makes her story even more tragic and sad. I’m so glad that she’s speaking out about her experience and I really appreciate her boldness in doing so.

I am from Africa I can not comprehend how deep was her pain but there is no any advocate of justice for a kid like this. It is injustice that happen to a 15 years old girl or minor . This crime is more than rape and murder. Pls bring this kind of crime to justice.

Gosh she’s really blossomed and is so beautiful and bright! I remember her very first interviews – she never smiled. She seemed to have a lot of heavy sadness and was perhaps tentative about putting her story out there back then that I really felt for her but she’s looking so positive and uplifted here – very happy for her journey and happy to see her laughing and smiling so wide!

So happy for her. She seems so much more vibrant and self-assured than in previous interviews. Hope she is healing spiritually, physically and emotionally.

Love her, “thank you sir” at the end. What a lovely young lady. Prayers for her as she continues speaking out!

2A: One June 14, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) exceeded its authority when it decided that a semiautomatic rifle equipped with a bump stock is a machine gun.

FAUXTUS: We are not safe. [6:25] – Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy recalled an ‘awkward’ moment he had with President Biden ‘behind-the-scenes’ at the White House. The ‘Outnumbered’ panel discusses concerns over the president’s mental acuity at the G7 with Russian warships 100 miles off the coast of Florida.

SCIENCE: A study entitled “Size Matters? Penis Dissatisfaction and Gun Ownership in America” was published in the American Journal of Men’s Health on May 31, 2024. It debunked the oft-told myth that men own guns to compensate for their lack of masculine attributes. In fact, researchers found that men who are dissatisfied with the size of their penises are less likely to own guns.

TESLA: Back in 2018, 73% of Tesla’s shareholders voted to give Elon Musk shares worth about 12% of the company if, and only if, he hit several revenue milestones. If he failed, he’d get nothing. He not only succeeded, but even exceeded those goals and received the stock.

One envious boo-hooer, a guy who owns all of 9 shares in the company, sued, and in January of this year, an activist Delaware judge voted in his favor, saying the value of the stock was “unfathomable” and “unfair to shareholders.”

This month, Tesla shareholders reinstated the bonus. They also voted to move the company … and all of its tax revenue … from Delaware to Texas. So, judge, tell me … was your ruling fair to the taxpayers of Delaware?

COLD WAR: Four Russian warships, one of them a nuclear-powered submarine, are now stationed in Cuba. Experts believe they are here in part because Biden let Ukraine use US weapons inside of Russia.

OLYMPICS: [N.b., the first bit is true. He has been barred from the Olympics. The rest is from Babylon Bee.] – After the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) made a shocking ruling on Thursday that Lia Thomas, a man, would not be allowed to compete on the U.S. women’s Olympic team, Thomas requested further clarification on whether he might be allowed to still just hang out naked in the women’s locker room on occasion or something like that.

“That’s fine if I can’t compete, but can I, maybe, I dunno, just hang out naked in the women’s locker room?” said Thomas to the committee, according to sources. “I can, you know, help with the swimming gear and towels and whatnot. And I’d be naked while I’m doing it. No big deal.”

“That shouldn’t be too much to ask for a brave trans pioneer like me.”

Thomas’s request to lurk in the locker room invoked the spirit of Pride Month, saying all he wants is the right to creep out women while at the same time indulging in his own gross fetish even if he won’t be allowed to humiliate those women in competitive sports.

At publishing time, Planet Fitness and 24 Hour Fitness had both reached out to tell him he’s welcome to hang out naked in their women’s locker rooms any time.

2024: Another key Democrat demographic is switching sides.

BORDER: Eight Tajikistan nationals with ties to ISIS were busted recently during a three city, multi-force sting operation. The arrests took place in New York City, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. All eight are here illegally.

CALIFORNICATION: On May 25, a former soap opera actor named Johnny Wactor was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles. He interrupted thieves attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his car. In response, a Democrat Los Angeles City Council member — there are no Republicans — blamed the automaker for failing to make the catalytic converters harder to steal.

CLIMATE: A new study entitled “Abrupt reduction in shipping emission as an inadvertent geoengineering termination shock produces substantial radiative warming” was published on May 30 in Nature.

In it, a team of high-powered NASA scientists report that 80% of the global warming that has occurred since the turn of the decade has been the result of the abrupt 80% cut in sulphur dioxide emissions from international shipping mandated in 2020.

The science is simple. “Fewer fuel particles injected into the atmosphere reduce cloud droplet density and this leads to clouds that reflect less solar radiation back into space.

DIVISION: The Southern Poverty Law Center puts any group that opposes medical gender transitioning of minors on their hate map. Their latest addition was a group that was founded by a lesbian.

HUNTER: [15:21] – I’m wondering what will happen to Hunter’s tax problems if Joe gets taken off the ticket.

BIDEN: [7;12] – More plagiarism in Normandy.

CALIFORNICATION: Over the last four years, 53.3% of Californians who made more than $150K per year have fled the state. Gov. Gavin’s proposals for making up the $27.6 billion budget deficit include:

  1. Using up $12.2 billion of California’s rainy day fund.
  2. Cutting $100 million to clean up homeless camps.
  3. Cutting $90 million of trial court funding.
  4. Cutting $10 million in Department of Justice Division of Law Enforcement funding.
  5. Cutting out $80 million of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s funding, including eliminating 4,600 beds across 13 prisons.
  6. Keeping $6.7 billion for climate-related programs.
  7. Keeping $1 billion in Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention grants.
  8. Keeping $90 million in Outdoor Equity Grants.
  9. Pouring another $4.2 billion into the high speed rail system that has already cost $128 billion and goes nowhere useful.
  10. Increasing taxes on businesses, including eliminating allowing businesses to write off operating expenses for taxes.

There are no Republicans holding any statewide office.

CATHOLIC: A video portal was installed in New York City and in Dublin to allow passersby to connect with people in real time between the two locations. In May, Dominican priests who live just around the corner from the portal in Ireland led the rosary with Catholics in both locations. There are plans to host future video portal rosaries on the 22nd of each month. There are videos at the link.

D.C.: Last week, a female carjacked and crashed a vehicle with an elderly woman still in it. The kidnap victim was pronounced dead following the incident. Democrat US Attorney Matthew Graves is charging the perp with a single count of unarmed carjacking.

Two years ago, an elderly woman participated in a prayer protest that temporarily blocked an abortion clinic. Democrat US Attorney Matthew Graves charged her with violating the FACE Act; she was recently sentenced to two years behind bars.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a gain. We are not like them.

HUNTER: After deliberating for just three hours, the jury found Son of Fauxtus guilty on all three counts stemming from his purchase and owning of a firearm while being addicted to illegal drugs.

It seems likely the fact that the Biden DOJ allowed the case to go forward so the administration’s legal vendetta against Trump would have some appearance of non-partisanship. But note that the gun crimes predate Joe’s term in the White House.

We all remember how the Secret Service was totally stumped when it came to figuring out who had brought a bag of cocaine into the super secure White House while the First Son was visiting. The videos from that day show Hunter was high-as-a-kite … but I’m sure that was all just a coinkidink.

TRUMP: CLICK https://x.com/adamwren/status/1800243541857464674 [:21] to hear him tell Evangelicals, “You just can’t vote Democrat. They’re against religion. They’re against your religion in particular. You cannot vote for Democrats, and you have to get out and vote. We have to defend religious liberty, free speech, innocent life, and the heritage and tradition that built America into the greatest nation in the history of the world.”

TEXAS: More on Democrats weaponizing our justice system to advance their progressive agenda – Biden’s DOJ has arrested Dr. Eitan Haim and charged him with four felony counts of violating HIPAA.

What Dr. Haim actually did was blow the whistle on Texas Children’s Hospital, which was violating a Texas law banning child butchery. Oops, I mean, “gender-affirming sex-change surgery.” The federal charges claim he revealed personal and private medical records, but according to the report I read, he went to painstaking lengths to redact names and other identifying info of the victims.

DONATE to Dr. Haim’s judicial fund @ https://www.givesendgo.com/texas_whistleblower. They are a little more than half way to their goal.

BACK THE BLUE: CLICK https://x.com/Breaking911/status/1799912615176786151 [2:41] to see a recent incident that could be a scene from Flashpoint. The bad guy, Sterling Alavache (36), had an “extensive criminal history” from several states that included drug trafficking, aggravated assault, and carrying a concealed firearm. At the time he was rendered “no longer a threat”, he was holding two hostages at knife point and claiming he also had a bomb.

CATHOLIC: I just came across an interesting argument in favor of the Catholic doctrine that the Blessed Virgin Mary was taken, body and soul, into Heaven. Microchimerism.

From Wikipedia: “Microchimerism is the presence of a small number of cells in an individual that have originated from another individual and are therefore genetically distinct. … In humans (and perhaps in all placental mammals), the most common form is fetomaternal microchimerism (also known as fetal cell microchimerism or fetal chimerism) whereby cells from a fetus pass through the placenta and establish cell lineages within the mother. Fetal cells have been documented to persist and multiply in the mother for several decades.

It seems absurd to suppose that God would have allowed Mary’s body to rot in the ground, if His Son’s divine cells were inside her.

ISRAEL: Eight months after the heinous attack by Hamas on Israel, four of the hostages have been rescued by a joint operation conducted by the IDF, Israel Security Agency, and Israel Police. They are reportedly in good health.

IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said the mission was based on “precise” intelligence and that Israeli forces came under fire during the operation. United States Central Command got so much flak for possibly having assisted in rescuing hostages from a terrorist organization that they put out a statement clarifying that Biden’s humanitarian pier was not used in the rescue.

RELIGION: In Spokane, WA, and in Delray Beach, FL, teens have been charged with felony crimes for leaving tire marks on a “pride” crosswalk. In both cities, the crosswalks were immediately repainted. Never mind all that crap they spew about “separation of church and state.” This LGBTQXYZ crap has become the state religion in some areas of our country.

TRANS: The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) and the FBI have both refused to release the diary, aka manifesto, of the trans woman, Audrey Hale, who invaded her alma mater, Covenant School, and murdered three adults and three children. However, the Tennessee Star has obtained copies of nearly 80 pages. They reveal a mentally disturbed young woman who was suckered into believing all her problems were the result of being born in the wrong gender body.

GRAMMY NOTES: A friend’s home schooled son was procrastinating about doing his work, so he told him, “If you don’t stop giving your mother a hard time, we might have to stop home schooling. If you have to go a regular school, you will still have to do stuff like this. But when you finish, you’ll have to do more stuff just like it, over and over again, until the end of the day. Then, you will get even more of the same to do in the evening. If you want to continue to enjoy home schooling, go finish this stuff NOW, and then you can do as you please for the rest of the day.”
