There is another tax hidden in ObamaCare that should concern anyone who personally opposes abortion. That tax is a one dollar per person annual fee that goes into a fund that does NOTHING but FUND ABORTIONS. Not “women’s health care” … ABORTION. That’s right. No matter what your religious or moral position is on abortion, YOU will be FORCED to PAY to KILL unborn children.
Remember this … the majority of Americans OPPOSED ObamaCare BEFORE it was passed. The Democrat-majority House, the Democrat-majority Senate and the Democrat-controlled White House IGNORED the clearly stated wishes of the American people and PASSED IT ANYWAY.

I suspect all of you are coming here looking for some post-debate snark.Well,you’ve come to the right place.I’m posting late today because I was up very late and didn’t get much sleep.Frequent naps are one of the perks of being a retiree and I exercise that benefit liberally.
It was a little disappointing to me that Romney didn’t shred the amateur as we hoped he would,but the feeling is he did OK.I will post a number of highlights from last night and the first item on this thread is the entire debate in case you missed it.I know chrissy is televisually challenged so she can watch the carnage for herself.The left had already predetermined that obama won the debate.That’s no surprise.Tingles almost soiled himself,calling it the best debate he’d ever seen.The bar was set so low compared to the last debacle he’d have been considered victorious if he didn’t end the debate with his pants around his ankles.
Romney fumbled a little,which is understandable given the pressure he was under in a hostile environment.The behavior of Candy ‘Creepy’ Crowley was absolutely appalling.Half the questions she chose were virulently anti-Romney and at the most critical time of the debate interjected herself to save Obama’s ass.The night got off to a bad start when the first shot showed her head seemingly floating in space because she wore a black dress against a dark background.Whoever told that broad black was thinning?
Obama was once again shown to be a small man capable of nothing but big rhetoric and small results.Every time Romney told the truth he kept saying ‘that’s not true’ but could offer nothing substantive to back up his boasts and accusations.Such is often the case when you’re dealing with adolescents.My sense is that a great number of good people who were taken in by the hype have come to see him for what he really is.Nothing he did or said last night did anything to move them.Maybe I’m being overly optimistic but I can sense a possible 40 state blowout in the offing.
It looks like Hillary is properly accepting responsibility for the State Department’s refusal to provide adequate security to our ambassador in Libya.
But she’s definitely not falling on her sword over that stupid YouTube baloney.
There’s important evidence to support Hillary’s position.
1. State Department officials testified before Congress that they had been monitoring the situation in Libya and had seen no protests against the film.
2. U.S. ambassadors (like Susan Rice) are appointed by and operate under the jurisdiction of the White House. Rice could not have made the rounds of every Sunday morning news show blatting that the YouTube video had motivated the attacks without having received specific direction to do so from the White House.
Labor Force: All people aged 16 and over who are either employed or actively seeking work. It does not include discouraged workers, people who have retired, or those on welfare or disability who are no longer looking for work. Since January 2009, this number has grown by 827,000 people or 0.54% (from 154,236,000 to 155,063,000)
Not in Labor Force: Total civilian non-institutional population minus the number in Labor Force. Since January 2009, this has grown by 8,208,000 people or 10.2% (from 80,502,000 to 88,710,000 people).
Now, we learn some of that high-cost, low-return money was pissed away on waste and fraud.
To date, government inspector generals have secured 598 judgments against people and companies who misused $11.1 Million in stimulus funds.
There are 1,900 more investigations still open!
A senior official says they expect that $11.1 Million figure to balloon in coming months.
For example, one of the cases nearing conclusion is by an Energy Department inspector general who discovered the California energy commission collected the same $678,000 twice. Oooops.
In 400 other cases, investigators found the companies claiming stimulus funds didn’t exist. Apparently nobody checked, just sent the money.
Color me cynical, but I have to wonder how many of the recipients were Democrat donors.

I mentioned this idea to Dearest … that the reduced security at our embassies could have been a perverse Democrat plot to produce a winning October Surprise for Obama … and he was amazed that anyone could even think such a thing.

Now … if you only look at approval numbers, Penn’s statement makes some sense. But you’d have to be a really twisted excuse for humanity to see approval numbers instead of dead bodies.
As much as I hate to believe my fellow Americans could be so warped, I have to admit these are the same people who lionized Ted Kennedy, the only man with a confirmed kill in the war on women.

I hadn’t considered the hostage situation scenario. But when I looked at Carter’s post-Iranian hostage bump, I could see his point. In the long run, Carter made a total hash of that situation. But in the short run, he got enough of a boost that, if Obama had been able to score the same so close to Election Day, he’d have walked away with a second term in his pocket.

If that’s true, Obama may have to bring himself to justice. According to the news report below, his own people did not merely refuse requests from our Libyan embassy to send additional security; they actually ordered security that was already there to LEAVE … right before the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks!

Obama is desperate.He’s never faced an actual opponent where he had to stand on his own and not have his victory predetermined.I heard this morning there were rumors that the questions for this townhall-type forum were pre-screened,which is not supposed to happen.It would come as no surprise if it were true,since the media will do anything to save his bacon.In an intimate setting like this,Obama can seem human,almost lifelike, even though his forte is reading prepared speeches to adoring crowds.
Hopefully we see the real Mitt tomorrow night.Humble,resolute,in command of the facts,capable of offering solutions without the ‘malarkey’ we heard so much about from the Mouth That Roared last week.Obama knows he’s losing and desperation breeds contempt.When he starts to stutter and stammer for words he looks like a drowning man grasping for a lifeline.The Crowfoot will doubtless try to help him and Mitt must be ready to answer.This will not be a fair fight.They never are.
