One More Day
I’m going to make a wild prediction:
Fox News will crush CBSNBSABCCNNMSNBCPBSCNBC. I may be wrong. I was wrong the last time I made such a prognostication. Terribly wrong. And absolutely never happier to be so. Had my prediction of Mme. Pantsuit gotten elected, I wouldn’t be sitting here doing this.
For those into industrial strength schadenfreude, turn on CNN or MSDNC for awhile and watch the bubbling cauldrons of bile being forced down by people on the verge of dementia. Drink deep their tears and be refreshed.

President Obama began his final press conference on a surprising note. Despite “not liking all of the stories you’ve filed,” he told the gathered White House press corps that it’s your duty to ask “tough questions” and not be “sycophants.”
Too bad reporters were apparently not paying attention.
What followed was one softball after another, with rhetorical foot massages sandwiched between.
“Thank you, Mr. President,” each reporter began.
“It’s been an honor,” said another, before literally making the “call me” expression while pointing at her cellphone.

A reporter for The Blade, Chris Johnson, used his opportunity to ask the president a question to instead list a series of LGBT “accomplishments” Obama enjoyed during his tenure — before setting the president up to attack Trump.

In his final press conference, Obama brought up contentions issues for the U.S. citizenry, and pointedly told Trump he would speak up if his successor strayed far from current policy on rights issues.
He mentioned ‘systematic discrimination’ and efforts to ‘punish’ immigrants who came here as children.
He praised the press for making ‘this place work better’ in another signal to Trump, who has attacked networks and news outlets.
Invokes Jim Crow efforts to ‘restrict the franchise’ and prioritizes voting rights amid looming fight with the GOP over voter ID laws.

The contrast between the old president and the new one is stark. The old has not done anything that comes to mind… ANYTHING… in his entire tenure to actually make things better for all Americans, not just Muslims, violent predators, and every tinpot dictator on the planet.
Trump realized when he first ran for office it would be no bed of roses. The left and their house organs despise him and will devote their every waking moment his entire term to attacking him. Any other Republican would be walking on eggshells, trying to avoid criticism, to no avail. Trying to defend themselves every time they’re accused of racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. is sport to the media shills.
The Donald is different. He’s not in anybody’s pocket. He asks no one’s approval. He couldn’t care less what they say or do. In an interview he taped with FNC’s Ainsley Erhart due to air tonight he was asked about Penis Head Lewis and the 1/4 of Congressional Democrats who are boycotting his inauguration. He said “Good. More room for people who support me.”
He doesn’t take office for two days yet but he’s already done more to put Americans back to work than the worthless piece of garbage who’s about to take another vacay to Palm Springs.

Wal-Mart Boards the Trump Train, Will Invest $6.8 Billion and Create 10K Jobs
Walmart has announced that it will invest $6.8 billion in the United States and create 10,000 more jobs for Americans in stores and e-commerce, a strong response to the victory of President-elect Donald Trump.
The investment will create 59 new or relocated Walmart and Sam’s Club stores throughout the country which will in return create an estimated 24,000 construction jobs, the company said in a statement.

It would be reasonable to think that after 8 years and at the end of his tenure, an outgoing president would be content to simply allow his successor to begin a peaceful and orderly transition. Barack Obama cannot do it. It’s not in his DNA. Ever the Alinskyite, he is compelled to cause as much chaos and pain as is humanly possible right up to the last minute of the last day. As of this writing, he has approximately 48 hours left. He will go into hyperdrive as his presidency and his legacy go up in flames.

Random Thoughts
Every day seems to be a challenge to come up with a catchy way to start one of these. A boffo opening is a must to get people to read past the first sentence. As I sit here rapt in thought it occurs to me: I’ve had too much coffee and I need to pee.
I swear if I hear that walking phallus John Lewis referred to as a “civil rights icon” one more time I’m going to lose my cookies.
For all the hell Obama raised over 8 excruciating years, we never once threatened to riot or kill anybody. I truly fear for Donald Trump’s life, because the opposition is completely deranged. They inflict violence as a first, last, and only resort. They plan to cause mayhem at the inauguration and it’s only beginning. It only takes one lunatic willing to trade his life for the president’s.
The Chicago Cubs are owned by the Ricketts family and one of the daughters is a hard-left liberal. She pushed for and got an expedited meeting with Barry so he could get one more photo-op with real champions. He played it to the hilt.
It remains to be seen if the NFL, NBA, or Stanley Cup winners will accept an invitation from Donald Trump or will they all decline as a personal slap in the face to him. It would surprise me not in the least.

He noted that the last time the Cubs won the World Series Roosevelt was president along with many other historical and technological advancements that happened in the intervening century between the team’s championships. A feckless gaggle of useless-as-tits-on-a-boar-hog politicians gathered in Paris yesterday to basically puff about their self-importance and make a spectacle of themselves as they signed a worthless piece of paper demanding Israel accede to Hamas’ two-state solution plan, the basis of which is the annihalation of the Jewish state.
