According to Democrats, women DO have the RIGHT to CHOOSE to have an abortion for whatever reason they want, but do NOT have the RIGHT to CHOOSE how to best defend themselves from sexual assault.
Feb 15, 2013: Democrat Representative Joe Salazar says women don’t need guns to protect themselves from rapists, because, well, the guy following you and making you feel like you’re in trouble might not actually be planning to harm you. And, well, duh, “That’s why we have call boxes, that’s why we have safe zones, that’s why we have the whistles.” [1:03]
It’s bad enough that liberal men refuse to protect the women in their lives. But now they won’t even allow the women to protect themselves.
A study of over 1.9 million self-defense cases involving handguns found that nearly 10% involved WOMEN defending themselves from SEXUAL ASSAULT or ABUSE and that, in less than 8% was the attacker even wounded. In the vast majority, the armed citizen only needed to brandish the gun or fire a warning shot to stop the attack.
And no, it is NOT enough to be “allowed” to keep a gun dismantled, unloaded and locked in a safe at home, because half a million of those self-defense cases occurred AWAY FROM HOME.
Check out this real list that the University of Colorado was giving to women to “help” them stay SAFE in the event of a SEXUAL ASSAULT:
- Be realistic about your ability to protect yourself.
- Your instinct may be to scream, go ahead! It may startle your attacker and give you an opportunity to run away.
- Kick off your shoes if you have time and can’t run in them.
- Don’t take time to look back; just get away.
- If your life is in danger, passive resistance may be your best defense.
- Tell your attacker that you have a disease or are menstruating.
- Vomiting or urinating may also convince the attacker to leave you alone.
- Yelling, hitting or biting may give you a chance to escape, do it!
- Understand that some actions on your part might lead to more harm.
- Remember, every emergency situation is different. Only you can decide which action is most appropriate.
Oh goodie. They gave us gals permission to scream. How very Liberal of them! Also to wear our “I have herpes!” t-shirts … would that be over or under our vagina costumes?
You gotta love, “Only you can decide which action is most appropriate.” You just know they really mean, “except if you want to carry a gun, which would be not appropriate.”
But I think my personal favorite is “passive resistance” which I believe is P.C. Speak for “STFU and let him do it to you.”
That’s advice?! Sheesh! You might as well point at the This is a Safe Zone sign or blow your rape whistle really loudly, cuz somebody might hear it and, you know, think you’re calling your dog. As one Tweeter pointed out, “If vomiting, crapping your pants,& making obnoxious noise prevents rape, how come there were rapes at occupy rallies?”
Exactly. Here’s a better idea. Pull your gun out of your purse and scare your would-be assaulter so HE is the one who pees himself.

- Click your heels three times and invoke a safety zone.
- Wait for global warming to cause a meteorite to hit your attacker
- call 911 and enjoy the next 10 minutes while you wait
- Don’t be an underage hooker in the Dominican Republic when @SenatorMenendez rolls up!
- Ask attacker if you can borrow his Obamaphone to call 911.
- Thank Colorado Democrats as you lay there and take it.
- Try to relate to the attacker’s feelings.

- Avoid Occupy Protests, The Kennedy Compound, & being alone with Bill Clinton.

Most of the anti’s tweets are about how HORRIBLE Republicans are for “making jokes about rape.” … Uh, noooo. We’re ridiculing idiotic Liberals who think the risk of an armed woman accidentally shooting an innocent is more important than the risk of many unarmed women being raped.

One even whined, “You’re alienating your female base.” … “Alienating”? Are you KIDDING me?! Just shows how little Liberals know about Conservative women! As one female tweeter put it, “We don’t laugh at rape. We shoot it before it happens.”
Just remember, voters. According to Democrats, a woman should not be allowed to carry a gun, because she might wound or kill a potential rapist before he can assault her, BUT if she gets pregnant as a result of rape then that baby should definitely die a brutal, horrible death at taxpayers’ expense.
