This woman claims that white people who are afraid of Muslims are why Muslims turn to violence.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight.  Cuz we were all so afraid of Muslims BEFORE they started suicide bombing and beheading people.  Sheesh.

Professor: Islamophobia plays pivotal role in terrorism

This woman also claims that White Supremacists (aka, right-wing extremists) are a bigger threat to Americans than Muslim terrorists AND that her data comes, in part, from the FBI. 

Wroooooooooooong.  The FBI says the groups posing the greatest domestic terror threat to Americans are Eco-terrorists and Animal Rights extremists, both LEFT-wing ideologists.

Also, her data did NOT come from the FBI, but from a private organization with an agenda called The New America Foundation.  

The results of a 2015 “study” done by The New America Foundation (which was reported uncritically in the Lame Stream Media and is still being cited) claimed there have been only 45 deaths in the U.S. due to “violent jihadist attacks” while there have been 48 deaths due to “far right wing attacks” and that, therefore, militant right-wingers pose the greatest threat to American safety. QED.

Ummmmmmmmmmm … that would be a Big Fat No.  The data OBVIOUSLY excludes the nearly 3,000 deaths that took place on September 11, 2001.

But also, the “45 deaths” claim is totally bogus, because it includes only nine Islamic terror incidents since 9/11, while excluding:

  • San Bernardino (14 dead),
  • Beltway Snipers (10 dead),
  • Chattanooga (5 dead),
  • Fort Hood (13 dead),
  • Boston Marathon Bombing (4 dead),
  • Washington and New Jersey killing spree (4 dead),
  • Oklahoma beheading of 2014 (1 dead),
  • Little Rock Shooting of 2009 (1 dead),
  • Seattle Jewish Federation Shooting of 2006 (1 dead),
  • Los Angeles Airport shooting of 2002 (2 dead),
  • Denver shooter (1 dead),
  • Binghamton shooter (1 dead),
  • Houston incidents (2 dead),
  • Richmond (CA) stabbing (1 dead),
  • Orlando gay bar attack (50 deaths).

HATE CRIMES: I was not able to find any tables or graphs of data concerning either types of terrorism – domestic or global.  However, there is an informative “hate crimes” section at the FBI that reports violent incidents by who the perpetrator(s) were hating on.

The FBI did not appear to provide any perp-hate data for the types of hate crimes (arson, assault, rape, murder) committed in each category.  It only reports “incidents.”  IOW, if a victim was roughed up, that would count as one; if a victim was tortured and set on fire, that would also count as one. Kinda apples and oranges.

Here are the numbers for whatever they are worth.  They clearly show that the real victims of religious hate are Jews, not Muslims.  (I lumped in Christians, since Muslim extremists hate all of us.)

The story said Democratic questions will “make for some uncomfortable hearings and negative headlines,” but aside from that possible discomfort, the story said nothing about actually blocking the nominee.

WI Lawmaker: Dems Are Stalling, Recount Will Not Be Completed, State Will Be Forfeited
Duffy said Democrats and far left Green Party supporters are stalling the recount in Dane County Wisconsin, where Madison is located. The county is holding a hand recount. The recount will not be completed by the deadline on December 20th. Therefore, according to Rep. Duffy, the state will quite possibly be forced to forfeit their electoral votes.
This was the plan all along. Democrats knew they couldn’t make up 20,000 votes. But they also knew if they stalled on the recount the state could not certify the vote.
Wisconsin, won fairly by Donald Trump, will forfeit.

Democrats Must Dig Faster and Use Bigger Shovels
Things the Democratic elites should do in order to live up to their party principles.
Barack Obama was an affirmative action president. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Donna Brazile were affirmative action DNC chairs. Hillary was an affirmative action presidential nominee.
As a result, the Democratic party has lost the White House, Senate, House of Representatives, many governorships, state and local legislatures, as well as the ability to make Supreme Court appointments that will determine the direction of the Judiciary for a generation. The Democrat party today is the weakest it has been since the 1920s.
My only regret is that the Democrats hadn’t tested all of their half-baked ideas on their party first, before forcing them on the entire nation. Had they done that, their party would not have survived natural selection and today’s Republicans would have to compete with a lot more sensible group of people.

Trump would like to cut the top rate to 15 percent.

Texas to Require That Aborted Babies Be Buried or Cremated
The new rules are part what the governor said are meant to “reflect our respect for the sanctity of life” and “turn the tides against the soulless abortion industry in Texas,” according to a fundraising email he sent in July, HuffPost reported.
The cost of cremation, which can be as high as $10,000, will be paid by the facilities that dispose of the aborted baby’s remains, the article noted.
The Texas Tribune reported that the new rules don’t apply to “miscarriages or abortions that occur at home.” Furthermore, birth or death certificates won’t be “required for ‘proper disposition’ under the rules.”
According to the Tribune, health officials said the rules will go into effect on Dec. 19.

The blood of martyrs

ISIS militants cut the fingertips off a 12 year old boy and severely beat him in front of his father.  When the father refused to renounce Christ, the butchers tortured and beat him and the two other ministry workers. Then the three men and the boy were crucified.  Their bodies were left on their crosses for two days.

Eight missionaries in another village were beheaded after they refused to convert to Islam. Two of the missionaries were women, 29 and 33 years old, who were publicly raped and beaten by militants. Throughout their abuse, the women continuously prayed. After they were beheaded, their bodies were hung on crosses.

As it was in the first centuries of persecution, so it is now.  The blood of martyrs waters the seeds of conversion.  A ministry director in Syria says, “In the past we used to pray to have one person from a Muslim background come to the Lord. Now, there are so many we can barely handle all the work among them.”

It’s a Beautiful Day

You know that commercial on TV that says: If you have an erection lasting more than 4 hours consult a doctor? If you have a slight smile on your face that’s lasted almost a week, should you seek medical help? Not really. Just look at all the paid protesters and the little snowflakes who need coloring books and Play-Doh to cope with the fact they didn’t get their own way. That’s what decades of parental indulgence, never punishing kids, telling them everything is someone else’s fault and everybody gets a trophy, so nobody has hurt feelings because they lost.

Broken Promises Abound At State Dept.-Funded Nonprofit Run By John Kerry’s Daughter

Scott Garrett (R., N.J.) questioned Yellen about Fed governor Lael Brainard, who has donated to the Hillary Clinton campaign while serving as a sitting member of the Federal Open Market Committee, the policy arm of the Federal Reserve that meets eight times a year to vote on monetary policies such as interest rates. The Fed consistently maintains that it is an independent, non-partisan institution.

The Weekend Wrapup

FIRST OFF, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ONE OF MY DEAREST FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE WORLD, TING. U R THE BEST!
What a beautiful weekend it was. Saturday, the Winnebago 8th graders put up a valiant but unsuccessful effort to upset the powerful Stillman Valley team. In Sunday’s first softball contest Big Sis’ team came from behind, scoring two runs in the bottom of the final inning to triumph 5-4. The second game saw Miss Karissa’s Thunder team vanquish the girls from Team Arby’s by a score of 23-10 (it was 23-1 before the manager put in all substitutes). The cherry on the Sunday sundae was the Green Bay Slackers falling to the Minnesota Vikings 17-14 Sunday Night.
Meanwhile, back in the world I choose not to live in, the Enslaved Press is in full protective mode for Hillary and she and Barry have once again proven that elections take precedence over dead Americans and waves of terror attacks. Two were perpetrated by an immigrant from Afghanistan who, sadly, has not yet met Allah and cashed in on his 72 vestal goats.

The man wanted in connection for two bombings and an attempted bombing in New York and New Jersey this weekend has been arrested after a shootout with police.

A bar owner in Linden, New Jersey called police around 11am Monday morning, after finding 28-year-old Ahmad Khan Rahami sleeping in the entryway of his business.

When police arrived on the scene, Rahami brandished a weapon and started shooting at the cops – injuring two. Officers eventually shot Rahami in the right shoulder and he was taken from the scene in an ambulance, handcuffed to a stretcher.

Police released Rahami’s picture Monday morning, saying he was wanted for questioning in connection to the Saturday bombings in New York City and Seaside Park, New Jersey, as well as the foiled bombing of the Elizabeth, New Jersey train station on Sunday. Law enforcement say it was fingerprints left behind on an unexploded pressure cooker bomb in Manhattan that led them to Rahami. Twenty-nine people were injured when another bomb placed a few blocks away was detonated Saturday night.

Happy Monday

It’s Monday. A couple more geniuses from Comcast just left here. Installed another piece of crap modem. Pages should be loading in seconds, but they’re still loading slowly or not at all. After my cable was cut by mistake the next two clowns who came to reconnect my service proceeded to grab the modem that worked fine and replace it with a piece of junk. Today’s geniuses were the fifth attempt to get my service right… still couldn’t do it. Blew me off by telling me they’d have to have their supervisor contact me because the problem was “above their pay grade.” Here I sit, holding my breath waiting for a supervisor to call me right away.

Growing up in the 1960’s we all remember certain songs that we related to a date or significant event in our formative years. John Sebastian and The Lovin’ Spoonful recorded this in 1966. I was 16 and had just gotten a drivers license. Every Saturday night my grandparents would go out to eat at the same restaurant. I knew I had about 2 hours after they left to take granddad’s 1960 Chevy station wagon and cruise the two lane blacktops around the area, radio blasting. Good times. Only got caught when they came home early once.
