PERSECUTION: In mid-February, 300 mask-less Christians gathered inside Grace Life Church in Edmonton, Alberta, to worship the Lord. A few days later, their pastor, James Coates, turned himself in to Canadian authorities for deliberately violating masking and capacity regulations.
The court denied bail, then stuck him in a maximum security prison to await sentencing. For 35 days, he was kept in his cell for up to 23 hours per day; his wife and kids were not allowed to visit. When he FINALLY got his day in court (complete with hand and ankle cuffs), he was sentenced to a $1,500 fine and one day in jail.
Before he was released, he was instructed not to pastor or preach ever again. Although he still faces another court date in May for a prior offense, he promptly held a Palm Sunday service. Despite the fact that other churches have violated the same health guidelines, their pastors have not been chained up and thrown into prison.
For some reason, the authorities in Alberta have really got it in for this congregation. On April 7, they raided Grace Life Church, then erected fencing all around, and have posted guards to prevent congregants from gathering “unlawfully” to worship God inside their own church.
At his May trial, the Alberta government will be forced to justify their decision to restrict worship. While governments in Canada may restrict freedoms, they must demonstrably justify these restrictions on the basis of evidence. Methinks the evidence doesn’t exist and that the whole thing is a Leftist attack on Christianity.
“PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS”: Now that they’ve got us all conditioned to do whatever we’re told for however long they decide, there is a NEW “public health crisis” that will REQUIRE us to disarm Americans. So said FAUXTUS on April 8.

In other words, the 14th Amendment makes it clear that the 2d Amendment prevents both state and federal governments from disarming individuals.

I had something similar happen once. I was running errands with 4 kids in the car when I paused under the traffic light on a 4-lane street to wait for a chance to turn left. As fast as I could, I got the kids out of their car seats and lined up, with their backs to a brick building on the corner.

I was able to get our belongings out of the car, feed the meter, retrieve my terrified and very obedient flock of little ones, and walk us all to a phone.

Georgia’s voter ID law has nothing to do with race. When Biden called them “Jim Crow on steroids”, he was making the offensively racist statement that people of color are way too stupid to get photo identification cards.
Jim Crow laws were 19th and early 20th century state and local laws passed by White Democrats (the same guys inside those white KKK hood) that imposed racial segregation on the Southern United States.

The real-oven-temp insulation is too thick to use on the outsides, so I only used it on the palm where they will be gripping hot pans. For the back of the hand and wrist, I used a layer of flannel which, with the canvas outside and quilting cotton inside, I think should be enough to avoid burns from brief brushes with hot things.
Then, bonus, I realized the canvas I had gotten for the mitts would be awesome for aprons. I’ve made all my grands aprons, but I have always used quilting cotton. Using canvas for the body of the apron with quilting cotton for the binding-ties works so much better! I already have rave reviews from the first mama who got these red ones. Blue and green apron and mitt sets are coming soon, all chosen to match their kitchen decor. 🙂
On Holy Saturday, Christians remember that while his dead body was laying in a tomb, Jesus’ soul “descended into the dead,” as the Apostle’s Creed says. The laptop story was discredited by U.S. intelligence and independent investigations by news organizations.” (Emphasis added.)
The FBI and the New York Post both investigated the laptop BEFORE the slobbering lapdog media got on to the story and confirmed it was definitely Hunter Biden’s.
NOT OKAY: A video designed for sexually and/or physically abused children who are in therapy was shown to a second grade class during a “lesson on social and emotional learning.” I. Can’t. Even.
RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS: A woman posted on Facebook that a man in First Class insisted trading his seat with a military member who was booked into seat 31B in Coach. The woman wrote the fellow the note (above), which he thanked her for, but declined.
Meanwhile, in Italy, a priest refused to bless the palms last Sunday, because he objects to the Vatican telling him he shouldn’t bless same-sex unions. His diocese said it was “reprehensible” to alter the liturgy for purposes of personal protest, particularly when said protest is directed against a declaration by the CDF published with the consent of the pope.

FAIRNESS IN MEDIA: While accepting the Edward R. Murrow Lifetime Achievement Award, NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt dismissed objective reporting and and declared that “fairness is overrated.” He said he sees no reason to “always give two sides equal weight and merit,” where he deems that one of those sides has the correct position.
Brit Hume (Fox) responded, “This argument rests on the proposition that the media always know the truth. But they don’t, as his own network’s coverage of the bogus — and implausible — Russia collusion tale illustrates. Not to mention the media’s reporting of early Covid 19 advice that turned out wrong.
“Obviously if one side says the White House is made of powdered milk, and the other disagrees, we can safely ignore the milk claim. But political disputes are rarely so cut and dried. So we report what both sides are saying and let viewers and readers make up their own minds.”
FOUR PINOCCHIOS: The Washington Post has long been a loyal water carrier for all things Democrat. Yet they recently fact-checked two FALSE claims made by FAUXTUS, one made in his first press conference, then again in a written statement. Methinks the word has gone out that Slow Joe is on his way to forced early retirement.
HATE CRIME: On Monday morning, in Midtown Manhattan, a racist Black man brutally beat an Asian woman who was walking to her church. As he punched and kicked the 65-year-old woman, he yelled, “F–k you, you don’t belong here.”
Video footage of the assault shows the suspect not only kicked the woman as she lay on the sidewalk, but also stomped her in the head several times. The victim suffered a fractured pelvis, but is listed in stable condition.
Several men reportedly watched the incident without trying to either help the woman or apprehend the attacker.
HATE SPEECH: In January, the U.S. Department of Commerce sent a report to Congress concluding that free speech on the internet does lead to an increase in hate crimes. Although reports like this are typically made public, this one has never been released. (An earlier report from 1993 is still available on the web.)

MASKS: Last summer, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers (D-WI) enacted the first state-wide mask mandate. At the time, he said it would remain in effect until September 2020, but then he unilaterally extended it several more times through new public health orders. On Wednesday, the Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down those orders, which were made without the approval of the legislature.
MEDIA MALPRACTICE: On Tuesday, Joyless Reid, host of MSNBC’s The ReidOut reveled in the R-rated Lil Nas X video and Satan-themed Nike sneakers, calling them signs that Christians have lost the culture war. She posited that people shouldn’t be allowed to speak out against the Chinese communist government, homosexuality or transgenderism, because such speech allegedly encourages violence against Asian Americans and LGBT people.

Only about 25% of FAUXTUS’ $2.5 trillion proposal infrastructure bill is targeted to infrastructure. Like PORKULUS the FIRST, the majority is for pork and b.s. climate change initiatives.
RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS: When Grandma saw her 5-year-old granddaughter dumping out her piggy bank, she asked her what she was planning to do with the money.

YOUTUBE: On March 22, 2021 the Dove was permanently banned from YouTube. The Dove has over 40 years of providing hope and giving a Biblical perspective to current events. Over 15,000 interviews and segments had been posted to YouTube with millions of views. YouTube deleted it all.
YouTube said the Dove was booted because of repeated violations of the platform’s policies concerning “COVID-19 misinformation and presidential election integrity.” Translation: The Dove offended the Left by expressing opinions and presenting evidence that didn’t line up with the Left’s political agenda.
YouTube has demonetized and suspended Steven Crowder’s channel for “violating our presidential election integrity policy.” Crowder said his real crime was practicing investigative journalism about election integrity.
