Today is the day of reckoning for two dem flee-baggers facing recall in Wisconsin.I’ll be watching this closely. If we can oust these two, then the net gain for the unions after spending $35 million will be exactly–bupkus. Zero, zip, nada.Since this fiasco started, things have gotten worse and Barry’s support is down to those acolytes who would follow him no matter what.Might be a real good day.
DAVID GREGORY SHOWS HIMSELF TO BE A COMPLETE TOOL WHILE INTERVIEWING MICHELE BACHMANN
RANT WARNING!
I’m sitting here typing after 3AM and the TV is on MTP replay.David Gregory is grilling Bachmann like a prosecuting attorney, asking personal questions he would never ask a democrat.I watched the Iowa debates Thursday and had to double-check to make sure it was Fox and not MSNBC.I don’t recall any democrat ever being questioned about religious beliefs or morality, but they are all obsessed with it when it comes to republicans.FNC used to be the one place conservatives got a fair shake but I’ve sensed a leftward drift for some time.
Gallup has Obama’s overall approval at 39%,despite the media’s herculean effort to cover for him.It took an all-out assault for eight solid years for the media to drive Bush’s numbers that low.Rasmussen has O’s Strongly Approve/disapprove numbers at -22 for five straight days.I would vote for Perry,Romney if I had to,but the bottom line is we must cut out the cancer which has infected our country.
ON THIS DAY IN 1950,EINAR AND LOIS PETE WELCOMED A NEW LIFE INTO THIS WORLD.WHEN THE DOCTOR WENT TO SLAP HIS BOTTOM,THE NEWBORN POINTED A FINGER AND SAID: ‘DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!’ THE DOCTOR SAID: ‘THIS ONE’S GONNA BE A PISTOL.’ AND HE WAS CORRECT.
HOPEFULLY WHEN I COME TO THE END OF THE SHORT TRIP THROUGH LIFE,I WILL BE ABLE TO SAY I MADE A DIFFERENCE AND HOPEFULLY LEFT THINGS A LITTLE BETTER.
DESPITE ECONOMIC APOCALYPSE,OBAMA’S VACATION STILL A GO
I thought I had a good work ethic, but when we had a Japanese exchange student with us, I found out what a “hard worker” really looks like.
She was basically on a freebie year as far as academics went and, frankly, her Japanese school English teacher (a native Frenchman!) had done a better job teaching her to read than to write or speak English. So I was more than astonished to hear her fretting about her GRADES. In English.
I mean … she wasn’t in ESL “English as a Second Language”. She was taking a regular high school English course. SAT words. Shakespeare. This girl barely spoke conversational English and used her dictionary and sign language a LOT and I suspect just smiled and pretended even more.
So when I asked her why she was giving a single thought to her grades, she said, she didn’t want to shame her Rotary Club who had worked so hard and chosen her over all the others. Wow.
