The toddlers apparently covered the 2000 miles at bullet train speeds while in their bare feet, and with no food, water, or shelter. You have to give them points for tenacity, if not credibility.

Democrats are predictably (and eternally) in full meltdown mode, being especially horrified that tear gas was deployed defensively against the violent, rock-throwing miscreants attempting to injure (or worse) our law enforcement officers.

Although strangely, headlines about the confrontations tend to read “Trump gasses children at border,” as if he was personally marching the weeping toddlers into the cyanide shower stalls. Luminary Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez specifically likened the situation to the Holocaust because…uh…because… Oh yeah! Because Trump! Yeah, that’s the ticket!

Little (no) mention was made of the FACT that, between FY 2012 and FY 2017 — i.e., under Obama — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) law enforcement officials, including Border Patrol agents, utilized tear gas against migrants at or near the border at least 80 times with NO LEFTIST OUTRAGE breaking out.

We are not unsympathetic to those people (not including the criminals, gang members, or incurably diseased) who want to come into the United States – which remains, despite the Dems’ best efforts, the land of opportunity.

But we would also not be unsympathetic to the distressed shipwreck survivors still in the water once the only life boat has been filled to the point that even one more person added will sink the boat – causing everyone to drown.

There are limits to what we can do, and those limits need to be established by law and enforced through legal means – not by mob rule. Because when our nation’s laws fail – and they might – the question won’t be who’s coming into this country, but how the rest of us can get the hell out.

TEAR GAS AIN’T SO BAD: Below is one soldier’s account of something that is SOP for boot camp. (My Army Princess called it the day of the “Sonic Snot.”)

“I was tear-gassed, along with about 60 of my closest friends, in an enclosed space about 20 years ago. I remember it vividly. I was marched, along with the 59 other members of Echo Company, 2/60th Infantry Battalion, into a room. The room — barely big enough for the 60 of us — was dark, the windows were tiny and sealed, and the doors were closed.

“It wasn’t fun. It wasn’t comfortable. It also wasn’t remotely deadly. And it is one hell of a deterrent. They released us from the room into the blistering heat of South Carolina in July, and suddenly things began to look up. My eyes cleared after 5 minutes. My nose and throat were back to normal in 15 minutes. And remember, we were exposed in an enclosed space. Tear gas deployed in the open air — as it was at the border — disperses much more quickly.

“Having been through it myself, I would argue that tear gas is absolutely a reasonable — even somewhat restrained — response to violent attempts to charge the border and to injure Border Patrol agents.”

1. When you first enter a new hotel room, put your luggage on a luggage rack or in the bathroom — an unlikely place for bed bugs to hide — while you inspect the bedding and furniture.

2. Pull back the bed sheets and blankets and check the mattress and box-spring seams for bugs, especially at the head of the bed. Adults, nymphs, and eggs are visible to the naked eye. Also keep your eyes peeled for exoskeletons (casings that the bugs leave behind when they molt) and dark, rust-colored spots. You can also lift the mattress and check underneath, too, using a flashlight if possible.

3. If there is any upholstered furniture, check that as well, especially at the seams and the head and neck area. If you see any telltale signs, tell hotel staff and ask for a new room, preferably in another part of the building.

4. Stow your suitcases, zipped closed, on a luggage rack or a hard surface for the length of your stay. You can also pack large plastic trash bags and keep your luggage in them during your time in the hotel. Try not to spread my stuff all over room.

5. When you get home, if you have any concerns that you’ve brought home a stray hitchhiker or two, tumble your travel clothes in a hot dryer for up to 30 minutes. Dryer heat will kill bed bugs, but simply washing the clothes usually won’t.

After Ocasio-Cortez entered her office Tuesday, aides gently guided her to a special room they’d prepared with every season of Schoolhouse Rock! prepped and ready to go.

Yesterday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents and officers effectively and professionally managed an extremely dangerous situation involving more than 1,000 individuals who sought to enter the United States illegally.

CBP was forced to close the San Ysidro Port of Entry (POE) near San Diego, California, to ensure public safety and security. The POE remained closed for about 5 hours. After attempting and being prevented from entering, a group of migrants tried to breach legacy border fence infrastructure and sought to harm CBP personnel by throwing projectiles.

Four agents were struck by projectiles—most likely rocks—but were wearing protective gear and did not suffer serious injuries.

As they dispersed a violent crowd, CBP made more than 60 arrests. Of the thousand or so protestors involved, only a handful of minors were present. The vast majority of participants were single male adults.

Both American and Mexican officials say these actions are not consistent with peaceful asylum seekers. On Friday, Tijuana Mayor Juan Manuel Gastelumdeclared a humanitarian crisis in his city, which he said was struggling to accommodate the influx.“No city in the world is prepared to receive this,” he said.

U.S. Border Patrol leaders have made clear that a wall is needed to preserve law and order. “One thing we saw that we could absolutely use yesterday was infrastructure,” Border Patrol Chief of Law Enforcement Operations Brian Hastings said. “That infrastructure was breached yesterday. And in the wake of the demise of “Roseanne,” as ABC fired its star Roseanne Barr following a derogatory tweet, picking up “Last Man Standing” was a smart move by Fox. The Sept. 28 premiere of the show’s relaunch averaged a 2.7 rating among adults 18-49, IndieWire reported, and has given a six-week consecutive winning streak for Fox among adults 18-49 on Friday nights.

Allen sees the family focus, and not political focus, of the show as part of its success, contrasting it with the CBS relaunch of “Murphy Brown” which is “stuck in this angst” against the current administration.

“What we’ve done is we’ve moved on. ‘Murphy Brown,’ unfortunately, I loved that show [but] they’ve kind of stuck along with, forgive me… they’re still stuck in this angst, in this hatred,” Allen said.

Unhinged Dems Fret Over Too Many Black Men Voting For Republicans

The left is wondering why so many blacks are voting for Republicans and they want it to stop. Maybe black men are voting Republican because the left has done nothing for them for decades?

WaPo, in particular, wants to know what’s going on. They don’t want any black men voting for anyone but Democrats. Black men must not leave the Democrat swamp.

WaPo columnist Vanessa Williams is concerned that 11 percent of black men voted for Brian Kemp over [socialist] Stacey Abrams. She said that black men “were not so much rejecting Abrams as embracing the conservative messages of rugged individualism and free-market economics.”

Murphy Brown threatened to “spatchcock” ICE agents in the CBS show’s Thanksgiving episode.

A very special episode of Murphy Brown involved the title character, played by Candace Bergen, sharing her Thanksgiving dinner with a family of illegal immigrants, parents of one of those perfectly-perfect DACA angels who are enrolled in law school.

Needless to say, ICE agents arrive to ruin the holiday, and because they are all racist.

Newsbusters reports they assume an Indian-American from Ohio is also in the country illegally — because of course they do.
