Nicolas Cage Grills Kavanaugh On Whether Any Secret Maps Are Hidden On Constitution

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The confirmation hearing for Judge Brett Kavanaugh heated up as actor Nicolas Cage began an intense line of questioning Friday: “You say you’ve studied the Constitution,” Cage said to the nominee, “so have you seen anything on it that might resemble a map, maybe pointing to the location of a hidden treasure trove?”

TRUMP ECONOMY: August showed higher-than-expected job growth, as well as a big rise in wages — all with unemployment remaining at record lows. Manufacturing hit its highest level since May 2004, and consumer confidence is at an 18-year high. That means the unemployment rate of 3.9 percent conceals even better news: All these stats point to a tight labor market, which means more people are also surely working more hours every week, with folks having been stuck working part-time moving to full-time, and other workers drawing overtime pay. – New York Post editorial

BULL PUCKY: After months of denying America’s recent economic success, they are now owning up to it … and reassigning credit to the Obama Administration! “The economy remains essentially the same sturdy one Trump inherited from Barack Obama,” Christopher Rugaber writes. STURDY? BWAHAHAHA! Take three metrics just for instance. Prior to President Trump taking office, orders and shipments of capital goods and business investments were on a downward trend and business applications were flat. All three have since surged upward. Meanwhile, blue-collar jobs in goods-producing industries — mining, construction and manufacturing — are growing at their fastest rate in more than 30 years.

U.S. SENATE: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says he’s going to keep senators in D.C. during October in order to move forward on President Trump’s judicial nominations. Dems are whining that this is a ploy to keep them off the campaign trail in the crucial weeks before the 2018 elections. Maybe they should not have worked so hard to keep those positions empty. At this point in his presidency, Trump has had only 59% of his nominees confirmed by the Senate, the lowest in history.

KAVANAUGH: When Kavanaugh referred to “precedent upon precedent”, it sounded kind of like he believes Roe v. Wade is set in stone. “But that’s not the case. … He is simply making a factual statement. If one reads between the lines of what he is not saying, it could be concluded that just because a precedent has been established, it does not mean that it cannot be dismantled. Precedents don’t last forever. Precedents can be wrong. And there is no precedent more widely criticized by appellate judges than Roe. A repetition of an error does not make it any less of an error. Study Constitutional history, and you can conclude that the days of Roe v. Wade are numbered.” – Priest for Life editorial posted @ Life News

HILLARY: According to documents obtained from the State Department by government watchdog group, Judicial Watch, the classified material Hillary Clinton sent and received using an unsecure, private email server included correspondence with foreign leaders. Judicial Watch has called On AG Sessions to order “an honest criminal investigation” of Clinton’s email practices while she was secretary of state.

A WIN FOR WOMEN: On Monday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit upheld Missouri laws requiring abortionists to have hospital admitting privileges for patient emergencies and that abortion facilities meet the same basic health and safety standards as other ambulatory surgical centers. It never ceases to amaze me that pro-aborts, who claim to be “pro-woman”, fight tooth and nail to exempt abortionists from meeting the same standards of care that we expect from other health care providers.

SICK: During a Congressional hearing today, a prominent pro-abortion attorney told Congress she thinks dismemberment abortions are “humane” procedures. So the “Humane Society” would be just A-OK with euthanizing unwanted puppies and kitties by ripping and twisting their little legs off, then crushing their skulls?

GENDER: A biologically male, convicted sex offender and pedophile was placed in an all-female prison facility, because he says he “identifies” as female. He is now also accused of sexually assaulting four female inmates.

TRANS SUICIDE RATE: Medical research shows that 80 to 95 percent of children outgrow gender dysphoria naturally and accept their biological sex if allowed to develop naturally. So why the hell are gender activists pushing so hard to get kids to undergo hormone replacement and gender surgery? Maybe “hell” is exactly the answer. Fifty-one percent of adolescent females transitioning to the opposite gender attempt suicide. In 2016, the overall teen suicide rate was 13%.

CHINA: According to internal Party documents, China is not merely relaxing it’s “one child only” policy, but pushing to “comprehensively implement a policy of each couple giving birth to two children.”

OMAROSA: As could be expected, this vile woman was celebrated by the hags on The View for releasing a recording of President Trump talking about Hillary and the phony Russian dossier she paid for. The hosts cackled and the audience applauded as Omarosa trashed President Trump, saying he is mentally unstable, supposedly because he had “still” been “obsessing” about this “old” issue. What Omarosa and the View witches failed to mention is that the recording happened RIGHT AFTER the Washington Post released the bombshell revelation that Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid for the phony Russia dossier. So Trump was not obsessing long after the fact, but rather commenting on the latest breaking news. But why should any of that matter to the Trump Deranged?

The Thrill Is Gone

Fading star power of Obama draws only 750 people for kickoff rally of his election campaigning

Gone are the heady days when Barack Obama could fill a stadium with his followers. Like a former sitcom star now doing dinner theater performances, he is self-relegated to lesser venues and smaller crowds. On Saturday, at what Think Progress (house organ of the left-wing Center for American Progress) called “his first campaign stop of the midterm elections,” only 750 people (T.P.’s estimate) turned out at the Anaheim Convention Center to partake of the Barack experience.

What Almost Was

When Barackbygodobamaallpraisehisname ascended to his throne, carried on the shoulders of the media to whom he was almighty and cheered by socialists, communists, layabouts, racial grievance clubs, and folks looking for something for nothing, he boasted he would “fundamentally transform” America. Among his other bleatings, he repeatedly extolled the virtues of Islam while slandering Christianity.

The Democrat presidential candidate in 2016 to replace him seemed to be in sympatico.

About That Gosnell Movie

The Upcoming Gosnell Film and the Ongoing Hollywood Blacklist of Everything Not Progressive

But many people, some of them good friends of mine, declined to work on this film, not because of its quality but because of the fear of reprisal or even ostracism by the groupthink herd in Hollywood. More than once, I was asked questions like “Are you crazy?” or “Are you sure you want to do this?”, wrote Searcy. Continue reading

But not shocking, given the dementia the left is suffering from.

Roll Call Compares Russian Election Meddling To 9/11

Roll Call, a DC-based news outlet, published a cartoon on Tuesday comparing Russian election meddling to the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.

The cartoon was published early Tuesday morning by Robert Mason with the tagline “Never Forget.”

The image depicts the Twin Towers in New York City reimagined as ballot boxes. A plane marked “Russia” is shown flying into the ballot boxes, suggesting that Russia took away the voting rights of Americans

What Almost Was

Despite the constant assault from all sides, this president has done much to repair the economy, restore respect for our military, and show the tinpot terrorists around the globe he’s no pushover. Looking back, it is stomach turning how the media whores went so far to shield Hillary Clinton from any negative press, from her health issues to the multiple felonies she committed that she will never be made to answer for. Obama Is Probably Golfing

This is part of the reason Trump is president. And they still don’t get it.

President Trump attends a memorial service in Shanksville, Pa., to remember those killed when hijacked Flight 93 crashed into an open field on Sept. 11, 2001.

Blissfully Ignorant

Colleges Don’t Need 9/11 Memorial Ceremonies

Students need us to contextualize America’s tragedies, not commemorate them.

Without mooring these symbols in the reality of the victims’ lives, the remembering is necessarily incomplete. At worst, for my Midwestern students, the flags stand for nothing more than the amount of death that happened. And though it’s a tragedy that so many people were killed in such a vicious way, lots more people die every day, some from violence, some in accidents, some lacking medical care. The sheer amount of death in the world can be, when thought about too directly, debilitating.

Why Are They Still Here?

You can probably figure it out if you think about it.

Why these 9/11 monsters still haven’t faced a trial

Seventeen years after they helped murder 2,977 innocents in the worst terrorist attack on US soil, five 9/11 suspects — including self-avowed mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed — have not faced trial. Continue reading
