CALIFORNICATION: A 10th grade teacher has been placed on leave, pending an investigation, for posting an assignment that included an “inappropriate” (read: X-rated pornographic) essay. CINO JOE: FAUXTUS just made a major speech about how vital it is for this country to enshrine UNLIMITED ABORTION RIGHTS in federal law. Apparently, they think that this is going to swing the midterms in their favor. Do they read the polls?!

COVID-ARMAGEDDON: A team of idiots, I mean researchers, at Boston University succeeded in grafted the highly infectious Omicron spike on to the original, highly lethal Wuhan strain of COVID-19. The result killed 80% of the mice it infected.

Sen. Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kan.), said that the research entailed “lethal gain of function virus research” that creates the “potential to kill more people than any singular nuclear weapon. Viruses have managed to escape even the most secure labs. … [Such] research must stop immediately while the risks and benefits can be investigated.”

Boston University issued a lengthy statement defending its research and claiming it not only was not gain-of-function” research, but that it had made the virus “less dangerous.” They also said the new virus couldn’t escape, because “We take our safety and security of how we handle pathogens seriously.”

Hmm. Methinks Boston U. has taken its talking points straight out of the Fauci-Wuhan play book.

GEORGIA: Bonchie at Red State wrote about Herschel Walker’s surprising performance in last Friday’s debate with Sen. Warnock, “The common theme with Walker’s approach tonight was aggression. He did not show up to play defense, and I think that played to his advantage. The Marian Dogmas

In popular culture, the word “dogmatic” is loaded with negative connotations, but in the Catholic Church, a “dogma” has a very precise definition that is at once both profound and beautiful.

In Catholic teaching, there is an order or hierarchy of truths. In this order, “dogma” is the highest. Years ago, one of my pastors told me the lowest one is something like, “Some theologians think that such and such might maybe be true.”

When the Catholic Church defines a truth as “dogma”, it proclaims that the stated Truth is a matter of Divine Revelation. Catholic dogmas are the most serious and solemn of all teachings, ones which Catholics are obliged to believe. They may not be specifically stated within Sacred Scripture – e.g., the word “Trinity” does not appear in the Bible – but they can never contradict Sacred Scripture.

The Roman Catholic Church has four dogmas about Jesus’ Ema (i.e., Mama). One, she is the true Mother of God. Two, she was a virgin throughout her life. Three, she was spared the stain of Original Sin. Four, she was assumed, body and soul, into Heaven.

Mother of God: The first Marian dogma is often referred to by its Greek name, Theotokos (i.e., God-bearer). The point of this dogma is to clarify that Mary wasn’t a surrogate birth mother who raised Jesus as His foster or adoptive mom. She was his true mother in the flesh. To me, it means that when Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, He used one of Mary’s eggs.

This dogma was defined in 431 at the Third Ecumenical Council at Ephesus to clarify for the faithful that Jesus was both fully human and fully Divine. The council was called, because Nestorius, Patriarch (i.e, Archbishop) of Constantinople (now Istanbul) was teaching that Mary was merely the Christotokos (i.e., Christ-bearer), that Jesus had had divine powers and a unique relationship with God the Father, but that He had not Himself been divine.

However, if that were true, then His death on the cross could not have paid the infinite and eternal debt of sin for all mankind.

Ever-Virgin: The second Marian dogma is that Mary was a virgin throughout her entire life. That she was a virgin when she conceived by the Holy Spirit is an essential sign that Mary’s son Jesus was indeed the Messiah. It is also confirmed in the Gospel of Luke. That she remained a virgin is suggested by Ezekiel.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel.” – Isaiah 7:14

The angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin…and the virgin’s name was Mary.” – Luke 1:26-27

Then he brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary facing east, but it was closed. The Lord said to me: This gate must remain closed; it must not be opened, and no one should come through it. Because the Lord, the God of Israel, came through it, it must remain closed. Only the prince may sit in it to eat a meal in the presence of the Lord; he must enter through the vestibule of the gate and leave the same way.” – Ezekiel 44:1-3 [NABRE]

The quibbles many Protestants raise are based on faulty understandings of Scripture. For further reading, see https://www.oram.us/biblical-evidence-that-mary-didnt-have-marital-relations-with-joseph/.

Immaculate Conception: The third Marian dogma is that she was spared the stain of Original Sin through the miraculous intervention of God in granting to her, preemptively, the graces of Baptism that Jesus won for us on the cross.

God is holiness itself, and cannot coexist with sinfulness; it is thus a logical imperative that Mary had to be completely free from sin. Jesus was conceived using one of her eggs, eggs that formed while she herself was in her own mother’s womb. He was physically nurtured by her blood as He grew inside her womb and then by her milk after He was born. Then, He was emotionally, mentally, and spiritually nurtured by her as He grew.

Just as the Theotokos affirmed that Jesus was fully human, so the Immaculate Conception affirms that Jesus was fully Divine. The Catholic Church is not deifying Mary with these dogmas, but rather clarifying the true nature of Her Son.

Assumption of Mary: The fourth Marian dogma is that she received her glorified body and was taken, body and soul, into Heaven. This tradition dates back to the earliest Christians, though it was not declared an infallible dogma until 1950 by Pope Venerable Pius XII.

There is no teaching about whether or not she died, only that God did not permit her body to suffer decay. In the East, the Feast of the Assumption is called the Feast of the “Dormition”, which can mean either sleep or death. At Medjugorje, one of the seers asked Mary if she died and she said she had not.

In the Middle East, the roofs of houses are walled and used as outdoor living spaces. When it’s hot, the family sleeps up there where it’s cooler. I often think that sometime after Mary went to live with John, they and their household were asleep on their roof when Mary was “changed in a twinkling” (1 Corinthians 15:51-53). Maybe there was even a trumpet that woke the others up, so they saw her glorified and taken up. But they would not have known if she died in her sleep or not.

Personally, I think that just as the Resurrection is our model for what will happen to believers in the end who have died, the Assumption is our model for what will happen in the end to believers who have not died.

BORDER: [8:38] – FAUXTUS reinstates “Stay in Mexico” but only for people from Venezuela. Liberal Hivemind has an interesting take.

FAUXTUS: MUST WATCH https://www.facebook.com/DonaldJTrumpJr/videos/1601932616889098 [3:07]. It’s brilliant, but IMO not at all funny. This man has his finger on the nuclear button.

After winning the 2020 special U.S. senatorial election over Kelly Loeffler, Democrat Raphael Warnock’s 2021 income jumped to half a million buckaroos. Despite the fact that he would now be in D.C. much of the time and also receiving his new $164,816 U.S. Senate salary, his church inexplicably decided that he should continue to receive his full pastoral salary ($120,000) and housing allowance ($7,417). He also used his new-found fame to earn $5,750 in speaking fees and get an advance of $243,750 for his memoir, A Way Out of No Way.

In November, Warnock has to defend his barely-warm senate seat against Republican challenger and former NFL star Herschel Walker. Real Clear Politics currently shows Warnock up by 3.3 points. But that may change if the following story gains traction.

It seems the church owns an apartment building that is supposedly a non-profit charity to help provide low cost housing for the down-and-out. The church, which overall possesses liquid assets of more than $1.2 million and pays a part-time pastor an exorbitant salary, also received $5 million more from Georgia taxpayers in August to conduct repairs to the apartment building.

The National Legal and Policy Center has demanded that Warnock and his church explain “why they are hiding their ownership in the apartment building and to account for the rents received. It’s despicable that in the name of MLK, they are evicting tenants for past due rents of trifling amounts.” One tenant was reportedly evicted for non-payment of a whopping $28.55 in overdue rent.

MICHIGAN: [57:51] – I didn’t listen to it, but according to Breitbart, Trump-endorsed Tudor Dixon did well in her debate Thursday evening against Gov. Gretchen “Jackboot” Whitmer.

MIDTERMS: Rasmussen’s latest Generic Congressional Poll shows Republicans at 48% vs. Democrats at 41%. And a new Harvard-Harris poll shows Republican approval at 49% vs. Democrat approval at 46%.

NORTH CAROLINA: Superior Court Judge Charles Gilchrist, who does not mask, sent a juror to mask-free jail for 24 hours for … refusing to wear a mask in a building and state where masks are no longer mandated. Judge Gilchrist also refused to let said juror, a single father, call his son to tell him he was spending the night in jail. To add insult to injury, the juror is a Navy veteran who reportedly served on the President’s Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery.

PENNSYLVANIA: Fetterman is not well. CLICK https://twitter.com/Jules31415/status/1581476131970039809 [:12] to hear him say, “Send me to Washington, DC to take on—to make sure I push back against work to work!” To add to the absurdity of his campaign, Dementia Joe Biden is supposedly going to PA to campaign for him.

GRAMMY NOTES: Bunny’s Language Arts curriculum incorporates a lot of fine art (yay!!). One of her assignments recently was to write four lines or longer with a rhyming scheme and inspired by the painting Peacock and Peacock Butterfly by Archibald Thorburn. She wrote,

“The bird is bright

In my sight.

It’s like a queen

That I have seen.”

The Five First Saturdays Devotion

At Fatima, Our Blessed Mother promised that those who practiced the First Saturday Devotion for five consecutive months would be assisted by her in the hour of their death with all the graces necessary for salvation.

On the first Saturday of the month, for five consecutive months, participants do the following:

  1. Receive Holy Communion with the intention of making reparation for the insults, sacrileges, and indifferences committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
  2. Go to Confession on the First Saturday of the month (it can also be eight days before or after) with the intention of making reparation for the insults, sacrileges, and indifferences committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
  3. Recite five decades of the Rosary in reparation for the insults, sacrileges, and indifferences committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
  4. Keep Mary company for fifteen minutes—meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary with her—with the intention of making reparation for the insults, sacrileges, and indifferences committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The Next Five First Saturdays:

  1. November 5, 2022
  2. December 3, 2022
  3. January 7, 2023

BRAIN CELLS: [:59] – The world is getting increasingly more like That Hideous Strength by C.S. Lewis. Speaking of books and this screwed up world … I’ve been reading Jonathan Cahn’s latest, Return of the Gods. I should probably say “skimming” since so much of it is (depressingly) familiar. There is some very interesting information in there I didn’t know that connects a lot of dots, so I definitely recommend it.

His big theme is that way back when, Christianity booted the pagan gods (i.e., demons) out of their national strongholds, but now they’re back seven-fold. “When an unclean spirit goes out of a person it roams through arid regions searching for rest but finds none.  Then it says, ‘I will return to my home from which I came.’ But upon returning, it finds it empty, swept clean, and put in order. Then it goes and brings back with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they move in and dwell there; and the last condition of that person is worse than the first. Thus it will be with this evil generation.” – Matthew 12:43-45

CALIFORNICATION: CLICK https://twitter.com/Twolfrecovery/status/1580563679279427584 [:30] to see a drive-by video from deep blue Oakland.

CLIMATE: [4:12] – There is no crisis. “It’s all based on models that don’t work.” International Climate Science Coalition Executive Director Tom Harris discusses how he was once a climate alarmist but now understands it as a scam.

IGOR DANCHENKO: More revelations of Deep State corruption coming out of the Danchenko trial. It seems the FBI knew early on that Danchenko was the main person behind the anti-Trump lies in the Steele dossier, but since they were complicit in the Left’s anti-Trump efforts, they hid him from Nunnes’ and others’ inquiries into the Russiagate scam by making him a paid “confidential human source.” This week, we learned that putting him on the payroll also allowed them to legally instruct him to destroy evidence of their involvement.

J6: Newly released video footage shot inside Nancy Pelosi’s own office shows Rap Epps (screen grab above) and Nancy Pelosi saying, in all seriousness, that she hopes she gets the chance to punch then-President Trump. CLICK https://twitter.com/realDailyWire/status/1580975691398463488 [:26].

Ray Epps was among the very first people to instigate the January 6 riot. Supposedly, he never went into the Capitol Building himself, so he hasn’t been charged. The FBI had him on a “most wanted list” but then suddenly he wasn’t on the list any more. Some people think he was a federal agent, which may explain why the FBI has ignored him.

MINNESOTA: In Minnesota, a man became so enraged by a woman’s American flag shirt that he beat her severely, choked her, ripped a towel rack out of the wall and stabbed her with it, then threatened to kill her. Authorities are looking for him.

ORGAN HARVESTING: [1:06] – In 2021, a representative for the University of Pittsburgh swore under testimony to the Pennsylvania House Health Committee that they do not source human tissue/organs from Planned Parenthood. So why was someone seen loading coolers from Planned Parenthood into a car from the company that supplies U-Pitt with its human tissue/organs?

S&G: In North Carolina, seventh graders are being exposed to gay pornography in their schools. CLICK (or not) https://twitter.com/realchrisrufo/status/1580657125809946633 [1:47] to hear an outraged mother read aloud from an extremely graphic book about gay sex that is on the recommended reading list.

In Virginia, a Democrat state lawmaker wants to introduce legislation to have parents criminally prosecuted if they do not “affirm” their child as transgender.

In Ireland, a teacher was put on administrative leave for refusing to use a student’s “they” pronoun and refer to a boy as a girl.

TRANS: With lefties, the feelings of individuals are only important when they serve their primary, political agendas. On Tuesday, detransers Chloe Cole, Abel Garcia, and Cat Cattinson phoned into the Conejo Valley Unified School District’s (CVUSD) Board of Education meeting.

After listening to how damaging it was to have been allowed to make irreversible decisions before they were old enough to understand the consequences, one of the trustees essentially flipped the bird at them and their concerns. “California state law requires schools to support and affirm our transgender students. As a trustee, I will support and affirm our transgender students – not only because it’s the law, but because it is the right thing to do.”

Meanwhile, the U.S. market for “gender transition” surgeries is booming. In 2021, it accounted for about $1.9 billion and is expected to grow to $5 billion by 2030.

VIRGINIA: On Thursday, State Delegate Elizabeth Guzman (D-Prince William) said she planned to introduce a bill to expand the definition of child abuse to include failing to affirm a child’s choice of gender identity. The blowback has been so impressive that a Fairfax activist mom has publicly thanked her “for winning us all the elections in Virginia.”

GRAMMY NOTES: I named this “Sad.” Mama Buzz said, “I love this! The expression does suggest she’s sad but the colors just ooze hope and joy! Which is just wonderful because being sad but choosing joy (not to be confused with actually being joyful) is so much better than being sad and in despair.

ABORTION: Pro-aborts have vandalized another Catholic Church. Vandals spray-painted the Church of the Resurrection’s sidewalk, front doors, and parish sign in Lansing, Michigan, with hateful messages directed at the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade.

CLICK https://twitter.com/JoeBukuras/status/1580323944820666369 [2:16] to see security camera footage. Many of the messages were violent threats: “Death to Christian nationalism”, “is overturning Roe worth your life or your democracy?” and “kill all Christian nationalists.”

The sign outside Our Lady of the Resurrection, now clean of the graffiti, has a new message displayed on its electric screen: “To whomever vandalized our church: We forgive you and we are praying for you.

BANKING: JP Morgan Chase and Co. abruptly cut ties with a long-time customer and faith-based nonprofit National Committee for Religious Freedom (NCRF). The bank gave no reason, but did offer to allow NCRF to reopen the account provided they turn over their donor list, name the political candidates they support, and give a full explanation of the criteria by which they choose such candidates.

The current chairman of NCRF is Sam Brownback who represented Kansas in Congress from 1995–96 (House) and 1996–2011 (Senate). From 2011-2018, he served as the governor of Kansas, then was appointed the United States Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom by President Trump, where he served from 2018 to 2021.

Brownback noted that he has lately communicated with dozens of groups with similar aims as the NCRF and “way too many … have been canceled by their providers.” His organization plans to appeal to state attorneys general to get involved.

COVID-19: Researchers at Tel Aviv University report they have found two antibodies that are so effective at neutralizing SARS-CoV-2 — and all of its variants — that they believe they could serve as an effective substitute for vaccines. The antibodies — TAU-1109 and TAU-2310 — bind to a different area of the spike protein than other antibodies researchers have tried, one that doesn’t undergo many mutations.

DANCHENKO: On Oct. 13, Charles Dolan – a longtime associate of the Clinton family – testified at the trial of Igor Danchenko, who faces charges of lying to FBI agents. Danchenko told the feds he had not communicated with Dolan about any of the allegations in the much-debunked, Clinton-funded, anti-Trump “Steele dossier.” But Dolan testified that Danchenko actually used him as a source for one of the allegations AND that what he told Danchenko was a lie.

DEPOPULATION: One of the stated objectives of the people who have been pushing the ‘rona jab is to reduce the global population to what they consider to be sustainable levels. It appears the jab is doing the job for them. In the UK, live births have dropped by 15% over pre-pandemic levels, while stillbirths have increased by 10%. Meanwhile, excess mortality in the UK is up by 10-15%. It is 94% likely that these outcomes are due to the ‘rona vaxxx, while only 0.5% likely they are due to random chance. N.b., because of their nationalized health care system, the UK data is unusually complete and compelling. It is also being verified by other countries.

ECONOMY: The most recent report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 8.2%, which was higher than expected.

FOLLOW THE MONEY: Weber Shandwick is a massive PR firm that has represented Pfizer for decades. Weber Shandwick has long had employees embedded in the section of the CDC that implements vaccine programs. In 2020, the CDC awarded Weber Shandwick a $50 million contract to pimp the flu vaccine. In 2021, Pfizer raked in roughly $81 billion, most of it from the COVID-19 shots that the CDC recommended.

HUMAN CHALLENGE: UK researchers did a human challenge experiment on 34 healthy young (18-30 yo) adults who were deliberately inoculated intranasally with the ‘rona, then kept in a high containment environment with careful medical supervision. Nineteen became infected; 16 suffered mild symptoms, while the other three had no symptoms. The immune systems of the remaining 15 subjects successfully killed off the virus before it could take hold, so they never had positive tests. Sadly, I didn’t see a word about the basic blood panels (e.g., vitamin D and zinc levels) which could have illuminated why those 15 had more robust immune systems than the other 19.

TWITTER: Kinda looks like Elon’s got a point.

VAXXX: Israeli health data shows that ‘rona patients who had recovered from the virus were forty times less likely to become infected again then those who had been jabbed.

And a new study funded by Moderna has found that Moderna’s COVID shots increase the likelihood of infection over time. This finding has been reported by other studies, including one recently published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

GRAMMY NOTES: The Mascots are doing a wonderful unit on safety.

ARIZONA: [5:15] – I wish I could vote for her.

BORDER: [3:23] – Armed illegals swarming across the border … but we can’t call it an invasion?

COVID-19: [3:13] – I’m thinking those thugs in cop uniforms were a whole lot too enthusiastic about their brutality to be claiming now that they didn’t like doing any of it.

END TIMES: PayPal tried to slime the right to fine people $2,500 at its own discretion for publishing “misinformation” (and we’ve seen how the Left defines that). They say they took it out, but I’ve seen at least one commentator suggest the possibility is still buried in their TOS.

NOTE: Go to https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/how-to-delete-your-paypal-account-a-step-by-step-guide/ for a step-by-step guide to closing your PayPal account.

And it won’t stop there. In 2013, the government of Cyprus sucked billions of euros out of private bank accounts with no warning. In 2015, Greece shut down all of its banks and limited daily ATM withdrawals to 60 euros (about $67).

In 2020, Wells Fargo Bank emptied the accounts of the conservative Christian Republican candidate for one of Delaware’s seats in the U.S. Senate, leaving her destitute and homeless. In January of this year, Mike “My Pillow” Lindell’s long-time bank, Minnesota Bank & Trust and Heartland Financial, closed all of his accounts.

On October 12, JPMorgan Chase Bank shut down Kanye West’s accounts and Bank of America shut down Catturd’s account. The latter tweeted that when asked why, the bank said they didn’t need a reason!

Some preppers have been investing in gold and silver. Me, I’ve been going with food, water, medical supplies, and survival gear.

ENERGY: Saudi Arabia says Biden tried to coerce them into postponing oil production cuts until after the midterm elections. They told him to take a hike. No surprise there; back when he tried to reach them by phone, nobody picked up. Some Republicans are wondering if this isn’t as impeachable an offense as that Ukrainian phone call thing.

FAUXTUS: Oct. 12, 2022 [1:05] – On October 12, 2022, he claimed his son “lost his life in Iraq.” Beau Biden deployed to Iraq from 2008 to 2009, but he died at home in 2015 from brain cancer.

INDIANA: Politico’s suckage is worse than we previously thought. It is actually illegal for the Air Force to release private personnel records like the ones Politico claims were obtained through a FOIA request. On top of which, the Air Force says they have no record of any such request. IOW, somebody with access to Green’s personnel file stole it. Hmm … I seem to remember when the Left lost its tiny little mind over the NY Post publishing details from Hunter Biden’s laptop because it had allegedly been stolen (even though it wasn’t).

ISRAEL: [9:32] – Violence erupts in Judea and Samaria as Vladimir Putin meets with Mahmoud Abbas, the President of Palestine.

POLICE STATE: This s**t is getting more real every day. On October 7, 2022, FAUXTUS issued “Executive Order on Enhancing Safeguards for United Signals Intelligence Activities.” It allows the government to spy on American citizens for broadly defined reasons including understanding “public health risks,” “political instability,” and the “threat” of climate change. There’s a bunch of blahblah in there about “reasonable assessment” and “rigorous oversight” as “safeguards”, but we’ve already seen how well any of that crap has protected Trump-supporters, Pro-Life activists, and no-vaxxxers.

THE NETHERLANDS: [8:45] – Government theft in the service of promoting the Third Horseman of the Apocalypse.

UNITED METHODISTS: On October 2, Allendale United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida, allowed a drag queen named Isaac Simmons to preach during its Sunday service and join the ministers at the altar while dressed as a demon.

His message included, “We are here to … deconstruct and to reimagine what church can be, who church can be for, and how church can feel together. … [Church] can be a place where all have equal and equitable access not just to the pulpit itself, to the sanctuary, but to God themself, and all that it represents within the community.”

Themself? It?

VFAUXTUS: [2:05] – I’m not sure why these people are laughing.

ARIZONA: [7:48] – Wow, Project Veritas really got the goods on the Democrat candidate for governor. Guess how many times Hobbs’ spokespeople said “like”?

DC COMICS: In another example of “Get woke, go broke”, the series “Superman: Son of Kal-El” is being dropped due to poor sales. The series included the gay Son of Sup going to climate change demonstrations, rescuing undocumented migrants, and, most absurdly, wearing a mask during the COVID-19 pandemic.

END TIMES: The Southern Baptist North American Mission Board has partnered with an evangelistic organization called “He Gets Us.” Even a quick visit to their website shows they deny the divinity, the miracles, and the resurrection of Jesus.

Some of the articles are less blatant about it than this one: “His execution was only the beginning of a movement that continues to impact the world thousands of years later. Jesus’ movement was so impactful because he actively resisted and rejected participating in culture-war politics.” Not even close. Jesus’ followers were destroyed by His death. If he had not risen, ascended, and sent the Holy Spirit, his life and teachings would never have made a dent in the world.

Other articles are less blatant, like this one. “People came to him from every quarter to hear about his extreme views on love.” Well, no. They flocked to him because he was performing miracles and, when he told them they would have to eat his flesh and drink his blood, a whole lot of them bailed!

FDA: This is beyond nuts. – The FDA has just granted blanket approval for minors (5-17) to receive a bivalent booster that was literally tested on zero children. They didn’t even test it on baby mice. And it gets worse. Only 30% of children 5-11 years of age ever got the original two jabs of the now extinct Wuhan vaxxx. But the FDA says if parents want their kids to get the booster (or their school is forcing it), then they have to first get the two Wuhan jabs! Why? Gee, we don’t know, cuz the FDA isn’t saying.

If someone asked me three years ago, whether it is possible that the FDA would approve a children’s vaccine with ZERO testing on children, I would of course laugh the question off as ludicrous. Now it is reality. Even worse, schools and camps may start requiring it. I thought that the reputation of our health authorities could only bottom at zero. Clearly, though, they want to drive it down to the negative territory.” – Igor Chudov

FLORIDA: [3:41] – Wow.

IRONMAN: At age 4, Chris Nikic needed a walker. At age 20, he became the first person with Down Syndrome to complete an Ironman triathlon. The 2.4-mile swim followed by a 112-mile bike ride followed by a 26.2-mile run must be completed in seventeen hours.

He has also been the first Down’s person to complete the Boston and New York City marathons, to get an official sponsorship, and to win ESPN’s Jimmy V Award for Perseverance.

This week, he again made history as the first person with Down syndrome to complete the toughest Ironman course in the world, the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

LIFE: A nursing student told me they had a whole week of “the miracles of fetal development” followed by a week of “how to dispose of products of conception.”

MICHIGAN: A “Yes” vote for Prop 3 will enshrine abortion-on-demand, for any reason, at any time, and without informed or parental consent in the state’s Constitution. In addition, it will guarantee minors the right to obtain puberty blockers and trans surgeries without parental notification or consent.

PAXLOVID: A new paper in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology says that Pfizer’s ‘rona med, Paxlovid, can interact with a number of commonly prescribed cardiovascular medications. When taken with some blood thinners, it can cause a higher risk of bleeding. When taken with some cholesterol medications, it can be toxic. When taken with some blood pressure medications, it can cause adverse reactions.

VAXXX: “We had to really move at the speed of science.” What utter nonsense. [9:51] – CLICK https://twitter.com/Rob_Roos/status/1579759795225198593 [2:01] to hear how a Pfizer executive admitted to the European Parliament … with a little chuckle … that the company did not test if its COVID-19 vaccine stopped transmission of the virus before marketing it.

GRAMMY NOTES: How cool is it that God let us choose such a wonderful date to get married?! [8:06] – We did not know any of this stuff when we set our date. We wanted mid-October, because we planned to go on a leaf-peeping, camping trip for our honeymoon and I picked the 13th over the 20th because my brothers had all worn 13 on their sports jerseys. A few years later, my baby brother told his bride that the only way he’d remember their anniversary was if it was on a 13th, so she had to find a Saturday that fit the bill. Our family is a little odd, to say the least. My niece was married on April Fool’s Day! LOL

Chick-fil-A

Posted to Facebook, credited to JoeynKaren Mustain:

I took Stella to Chick-fil-A today. It’s our normal daddy/daughter spot. It’s clean, so good, and the playground has a tractor beam on her the moment she sees it. When we finished eating and she’d worked up her dessert appetite playing with the other kids, we went back to trade in her toy for ice cream. She wanted to sit at a table to eat the cone (something we usually do in the truck), and I’m so glad she did.

We took a booth right next to the spot where you wait for your drink to be “refreshed,” and we had a front row seat to this beautiful scene: a homeless traveler had walked in and asked if they had any extra food. Mud was wet and caked on his well-traveled shoes. His hair was matted, and his beard wasn’t a statement as much as it was a necessity and a sign that he doesn’t get to shave as often as most of us do.

People near him kept their distance, but that didn’t stop him from being kind. He spoke to people who reluctantly spoke back, and he smiled while he waited on a manager. All I could pick up on of the conversation was the manager saying that he’d love to give him a full, warm meal–not just scraps or extras–, and the only thing he required was that the man let him pray with him.

After the homeless man agreed, there was no waiting for things to die down, there was no scooting anyone to the side. As busy as they were, the manager stopped then and there, laid his hand on the man, and proceeded to pray. I heard love in that prayer. The homeless man wasn’t some untouchable stain on business. He was the reason that store opened its doors this morning (or any morning).

I asked Stella to watch and she stared. She asked what was happening and when I told her, she bowed her head, too. I realized then and there that Chick-fil-A doesn’t simply do business for profits, they truly use business to minister.

In a time when companies are trying to win in the market by neutralizing any possibility of offense, CFA is thriving because they unwaveringly cling to their principles and purpose. I love teaching my daughter life lessons, and I also love being there to watch other Christians teach her life lessons. Thank you, Chick-fil-A, for taking care of the latter today.

43 Years of I Doing

ARIZONA: [10:29] – Kari Lake. Wow.

FAUXTUS: CLICK https://twitter.com/greg_price11/status/1579913027562123264 [1:05] to hear the latest additions to his fire fantasy. “We almost lost a couple firefighters … the kitchen floor was burning between beams … the floor almost collapsed into the basement.” In 2021, he claimed, we “had a house burn down with my wife in it. She got out safely.” Last week, he claimed, “we lost an awful lot of [our home]” in the fire. The graphic above is a screenshot of the news report, which is still posted online @ firehouse.com.

FETTERMAN: CLICK https://twitter.com/SteveGuest/status/1579905109831843841 [:37] to hear even MSDNC admit he’s unfit to serve. What is it with Democrats that they can’t put the good of the people ahead of their own ambitions? Dementia Joe and San Fran Nan should have both retired long ago. That Byrd guy practically died in his seat in the Senate chamber. And we had a local Dem judge who had a stroke and was literally in a coma while his family and party continued to campaign for his re-election. Their justification? “If he wakes up, it will give him something to live for.” Sorry, people, but public office is about the public, not about the office holder. Also, so far as I can determined, nobody has yet explained what the lump on Fetterman’s neck is about.

JONATHAN CAHN: [18:10] – This is a really interesting teaching about the role of the Roman Empire in the End Times. I just bought the book, so I may report on it more as I read it.

MINNESOTA: You gotta CLICK https://twitter.com/RNCResearch/status/1580561576335122433 [:07] … where do the Dems get these people?!

GRAMMY NOTES: This one was taken after the birth of my curly-haired Army Princess. My sil said it was the only time she’d ever seen me with straight hair! Yup. The baby took all my curls LOL. Fortunately, they grew back. 🙂
