The Summer of Our Discontent

Unless you suffer from multiple personality disorder, it takes two rational people with at least a modicum of intelligence to have a conversation. Unfortunately, this has become a near-impossibility with the hard-left socialist mob. It isn’t hard to tell one, because when you start to discuss politics it takes about 30 seconds max before they descend into a litany of profanity-laced tirades, heretofore known as Bush Derangement Syndrome. The disease has not only continued unabated but has intensified under the tutelage of an accomplished race-hater who claims to be president.

We have seen myriad examples of their intolerance every time they try to stifle anyone with a view that is not compatible with theirs. People of faith forced to not only accept but join in the celebration of moral depravity that are a sin in God’s eyes. Conservatives constantly harassed on campus and invited speakers shouted off stage. The really sick part of this barbarity is that most of them don’t have a clue exactly what it is they’re protesting. The “protesters” at the Trump rally in Albuquerque were just the latest example.

Signs supporting Donald Trump’s presidential campaign lined a sidewalk until a few young Trump protesters ran up and began to steal Trump signs

A bystander recorded his confrontation with one of the protesters.

“I hate Donald Trump,” the protester said as he stole the sign. “He’s literally basically Hitler. He’s doing the same thing as Hitler did, well, in a different way.”

The man recording the video began to ask the young anti-Trump activist a series of questions about Trump’s platforms.

“Do you think it’s fair to say that he’s not against Mexicans, he’s just against illegal immigrants?” the interviewer asked.

“I don’t know, I’m pretty sure he’s racist,” the protester said. Seconds later, he changed his answer to “I guess I can say I know he’s racist.”

The video continues for almost eight minutes. The interviewer continues to pose questions and the activist contradicts himself throughout the conversation.

“So, in essence, are you really against Trump or against the idea that we can’t build [the wall] practically?”

“I know what you’re saying, but when I see him talk, he’s just so fake to me,” the young man concludes but also says that other politicians, including Hillary Clinton, are fake as well.

Once again, he bested some stiff competition from the likes of Chuck Schumer, Slapsie Maxie Waters, Georgie-Boy Clooney, radio hack Mike Malloy, every host on MSNBC, and perennial runner-up Alan ‘Die Quickly’ Grayson. He co-ordinated the illegal foreign donations from the likes of John Huang and Charlie Trie. When his pals got kicked out of the People’s house in Jan. 2001, he bought them their house in Chappaqua so Hillary could continue her insatiable quest for money and power.

They returned the favor by helping him steal the Virginia governorship after the former governor was convicted of accepting a few gifts. He should have been a Democrat, he’d still be there. Now comes word he’s under investigation in connection with the Clinton money laundering operation. There is no cause for concern, though, because he knows nothing will ever come of it. He intends to circumvent the state congress’s veto and pardon 2,000 felons and grant them voting rights by executive order. Strategically placed, they could swing a few key precincts and turn the state solid blue.

Virginia Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe is the subject of an ongoing investigation by the FBI and prosecutors from the Justice Department’s public integrity unit, U.S. officials briefed on the probe say.

As part of the probe, the officials said, investigators have scrutinized McAuliffe’s time as a board member of the Clinton Global Initiative, a vehicle of the charitable foundation set up by former President Bill Clinton.

Among the McAuliffe donations that drew the interest of the investigators was $120,000 from a Chinese businessman, Wang Wenliang, through his U.S. businesses. Wang was previously delegate to China’s National People’s Congress, the country’s ceremonial legislature.

Virginia GOP Sues to Void McAuliffe Order Restoring Voting Rights to Felons

The state’s GOP lawmakers charged that McAuliffe’s order violated the Virginia constitution, arguing that the law makes clear the governor can solely grant clemency on an individual basis.

The lawsuit was filed in the Virginia Supreme Court and asked justices to strike down the order. It also demanded that the state annul all convict voter registrations received since McAuliffe issued the order last month.

McAuliffe’s order would reinstate voting rights to 206,000 violent and nonviolent felons who have finished their prison sentences in Virginia, including those who have not yet applied for a restoration of rights.

The unprecedented action would also allow felons in Virginia to sit on a jury, serve in elected office, or become a notary.

You might have heard the tales of horror over the supposed throwing of chairs by disgruntled Bernie Sanders supporters at the recent Democrat convention in Nevada. Several news outlets repeated those fables to demonstrate how barbaric the Sandernistas are in stark contrast to the “civilized” folks who support Hillary Clinton. California Senator Barbara Boxer who was present even claimed that she feared for her safety. However, one problem. No chairs were thrown. Snopes.Com has rated that story as false.

One of the news outlets that promulgated the fable about the thrown chairs was the New York Times:

Thrown chairs. Leaked cellphone numbers. Death threats spewed across the Internet.

Another culprit was CNN, which uncritically passed along tales about chairs thrown by the Bernie barbarians:

So why the eagerness to promote the chair throwing fairy tale? Probably because it helps the faltering Hillary campaign by comparing her favorably to the “out of control” Sandernistas. And it also explains the MSM frustration with Bernie for remaining in the campaign until the bitter end.

Friday Potpourri

Just a few thoughts.

The United States has a sordid past of violence and racial tension. It was an ugly time, rife with ages-old prejudices, especially in the segregated South. It is ironic that the perpetrators of most of the violence against blacks belong to the same party they slavishly follow directives from today. A number of enterprising hucksters figured out how to profit from the racism, real or imagined, that democrats use to their advantage. One of the earliest examples I can recall is the living monument to race-pimping, Al Sharptongue. He came to prominence pushing a blatant fraud with Tawana Brawley, besmirching good people in the process and later causing a death at Freddie’s Fashion Mart. All the while he’s been a tax scofflaw who, along with Jesse Jackass, has made millions extorting successful corporations, threatening chaos if they are not paid off.

The accusations of racism against whites are common and usually turn out to be hoaxes, designed to cash in liberal “white guilt.” Racial slurs scrawled on campus walls, “nooses” hanging from trees that turned out to have held balloons from a previous party, and a victim wanna-be accusing four white lacrosse players at Duke University. It turned out to be another lie, but those men’s lives were ruined, with the enthusiastic support of much of the school’s faculty.

Pastor Who Lied About Gay Slur on Cake Drops Suit Against Whole Foods and Apologizes

The media is reporting on yet another hoax, “A gay Austin preacher says he ordered a cake with ‘Love Wins’ from Whole Foods. He says he got ‘Love wins, Fag.’”

Although anything in possible in this crazy world, this story has all of the telltale signs of a hoax:

It fits a narrative. (Everyone hates gays.)
The “victim” hired a lawyer within hours.
The “victim” took his story to a friendly journalist.
The “victim” destroyed evidence.
The letters don’t match.
Add to the story some real life facts. Austin, Texas is the most liberal city outside of San Francisco, and Whole Foods is as left-wing as it gets. Do you really believe that an employee at a Whole Foods in a liberal city wrote “fag” on a cake?


The Texas pastor who sued Whole Foods in April for allegedly writing a gay slur on a cake he bought withdrew his lawsuit on Monday and apologized to the supermarket chain for perpetrating a hoax, KVUE reported.

What’s Really Important

Breakfast was at Uncle Roger’s house today. Aunt Evelyn made enough food for thrashers, as Granny used to say. Saw my cousin Steve and his wife of 29 years that I’d never met and their grown daughter. After the meal Aunt Evelyn brought out a box of old photographs. We sat around gabbing for 2 hours. There’s absolutely nothing more important than family.

My fishing buddy had the boat out yesterday with his son and grandson, so it won’t be long before I’ll get a serious case of boat-butt and terminal cap-hair. To all the crappies in Pierce Lake: judgement day is at hand. Make out your little fish wills and notify your next of kin. We’ll be along directly.

Now a few tidbits:

The boycott of broadcast news programs is still in effect, but anything significant can be found on the interwebs without all the background static. The Donald was on with Sean ‘the Rush Wannabe’ Hannity last night. The entire interview can be found on YouTube. The money quote was played on Redeye Radio this morning. It’s the best 18 seconds of the day.

I saw this on Gateway Pundit this morning. Some woman in the comment section remarked: ‘Does he really want to go there?’
In my gentle, understated, compassionate way I responded: These Arkansas grifters have been destroying innocent peoples’ lives for decades without a peep from the media whores because they’re democrats. I hope he disembowels the bitch and the pervert she’s partnered with. One thing Trump is not, and that’s restrained by political correctness.

Frankly, things are getting a little out of control regarding this gender identity horse manure. It is my fervent hope that this blatant overreach by the boy-king will have a negative effect on the democrat party come November, given the Bloody Bitch has given her full-throated support to this insanity. I just cannot fathom anyone who has a wife, sister, or daughter that they care about standing mute while some hairy-palmed male goes into the ladies room to ogle women. Lord have mercy on anybody who tries that on one of my precious granddaughters.

I get the feeling that the democrats may have underestimated The Donald, since most Republicans are too cowardly to take a stand, especially during an election year. Getting re-elected to their no-work, high-pay gigs is paramount. Trump doesn’t have to worry about that. He’s got a few bucks. Even the big-money GOP donors are opening the checkbooks for him. Sheldon Adelson had pledged $100 million to help rid of us of the disease of socialism.

Unintended Consequences

WHEN DID WE GO FROM”IN GOD WE TRUST” TO “WE’RE HERE AND WE’RE QUEER”?

Following the Royal Decree from emperor Barack I, the concept of affirmative action has been rendered moot, for all intents and purposes. Since he who won’t be ignored has insisted, anybody can be any race or gender they want to be. Personally, I feel like I’m a strong black woman. Now give me free housing, an EBT card, free phones and walking around money. Then let’s talk about my reparations. Now anybody can get preferential treatment in hiring and college admissions.
We all knew he would be completely out of control as the end of his reign of terror begins to wind down. I just can’t understand his obsession with forcing the entire country to accommodate perverts who make up less than 1/2 of 1% of the population. Perhaps he is a closet queen and Mooch is actually a pre-op transsexual. That would explain the biceps and the walk that resembles a camel’s gait. Sachet and Malaria could well be adopted.

The Outrages Du jour

For some reason I’m having trouble trying to insert images with the IMG tag. They keep getting inserted amid the text. Methinks the trolls that inhabit my machine are just trying to piss me off. Just a couple things in the reply section. Of course, here’s a few chuckles as a palate cleanser:
