The plan is to post some serious stuff after my morning nap. (Did I mention I’m retired and I can do that any time I want to?) But first, a little palate cleanser.
Yesterday was wonderful. Nice breakfast with my family, and Big Sis’ varsity softball team won both ends of a double header. Unfortunately, my grandson RJ hasn’t learned yet he could never get the best of his mom on his best day. But he keeps trying.

The Greatest Gift of All
This is shaping up to be a good day. My usual breakfast with my uncles and cousins this morning, then this afternoon RJ’s Big Sis has a softball game at the high school. I haven’t seen them since RJ’s basketball season ended in March. The whole family will be there and I’ve really missed them. It’s hard when they all have activities that take them in all directions every day. That’s one of the problems with being retired. You get lonely when everyone else is busy. She plays on the varsity squad, but with a lot of seniors and she a junior she doesn’t always get to play. I could care less, as long as I can be with them. We plan to go to a neat little pizzeria in their town after the game. The food is good, the company is even better. Continue reading

The Illinois House of Representatives has come up with a brilliant plan to secure the safety of children in the state’s school system.
The plan is brilliant for Democrats, of course, who lead the state governing body as it calls for replacing armed police officers in schools with mental health professionals – who are unarmed, according to an Associated Press report.

“For too long the government has imposed its will on state and local governments. The result has been education that spends more and achieves far, far, far less,” Mr. Trump said. “My administration has been working to reverse this federal power grab and give power back to families, cities [and] states — give power back to localities.”
He said that previous administrations had increasingly forced schools to comply with “whims and dictates” from Washington, but his administration would break the trend.

Their True Colors
There was some butt-covering yesterday over the hideous display of savagery at that hatefest held in Washington Saturday night. There was some mild condemnation from leftards but the truth is what Michelle Wolf spewed was what they all feel. Trump called her a ‘filthy comedian.’ The reality is that it’s the exact response the worthless whore was looking for. They have no morals, no shame, no sense of decency. They are filled with rage, spite, and a burning need to create a totalitarian utopia where they are the few at the top dictating to those who didn’t graduate from the Kennedy School of Journalism.
After the outrage exploded, the WCHA ultimately threw Wolf under the bus, but as with all Democrat actions nothing will happen to her. She’ll get high fives from her fellow smut mongers at Comedy Central and they’ll all feel good about inflicting pain on the president and his supporters. Continue reading
