Cherry Picking in November

Still so much left to sift through. What a week it’s been. Here are some things that I thought you might enjoy.

Back to the future: Howard Dean to run for DNC chairman
howarddean
THE DEMOCRATS KEEP RECYCLING THEIR OLD LOSERS.
‘REJOICE FOR THE SCREAMER LIVETH’….(THAT’S CALLED A PLAY ON WORDS)
Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, who led the DNC from 2005 to 2009, said Thursday via Twitter that he wants the job back when current interim chief Donna Brazile leaves in spring.
“The dems need organization and focus on the young. Need a fifty State strategy and tech rehab. I am in for chairman again,” he tweeted.

‘Melania liked Mrs. O a lot’: First Lady’s tea with her successor is kept behind closed doors (despite warm public welcome Bushes gave the Obamas) and photo is only released after media pressure
Michelle Obama met her successor this afternoon, greeting Melania Trump at the White House when she arrived and hosting her for tea
Press were barred from covering the visit that coincided with their husbands’ 90-minute meeting in the Oval Office
The Trumps arrived at the White House via a private entrance on the south side of the building. They left the same way they came
A photo of the women chatting popped up online hours later, after the White House was pressured to release it
In 2008 President George W. Bush and his wife Laura eagerly greeted the Obamas on the South Lawn – and reporters were allowed to cover it
I’D BET MONEY THAT MELANIA WAS GRACIOUS AND FRIENDLY AND THE GHETTO TRASH WANTED TO CLAW HER EYES OUT
WHAT STRUCK ME WAS THAT ALL THESE DESIGNERS MADE CLOTHES FOR MOOCH IN SIZE XXXL;MELANIA COULD MAKE SACKCLOTH LOOK STUNNING

Chelsea Clinton being groomed to run for Congress
SHE’S EVERY BIT AS QUALIFIED AS HER MOTHER
GREEDY: CHECK
ARROGANT: CHECK
PATHETIC LIAR: CHECK
UGLY AS HELL: CHECK
LIVING OFF SLICK WILLY’S REPUTATION: CHECK
Chelsea could run for the seat in NYC’s 17th Congressional District once Lowey, a respected, 79-year-old career politician with nearly 30 years in office, decides to retire, we have exclusively learned.
Lowey’s district includes parts of Rockland and Westchester counties and, conveniently, Chappaqua, the Clinton family home base
SHE COMES FROM A LONG LINE OF CARPETBAGGERS

Experts Question If Clinton Foundation Will Survive

WHEN, OH WHEN WILL WE BE RID OF THIS NEST OF VERMIN?
The months ahead could determine what kind of future, if any, the Clinton Foundation can have as Congress and the new administration of President-elect Donald Trump take what is certain to be a tough look the ethical and legal issues that have swirled for years around the troubled charity

Memo to Trump: Exploit your win!
The protests, riots and violence that have attended his triumph in city after city should only serve to steel his resolve.
As for promptings that he “reach out” and “reassure” those upset by his victory, and trim or temper his agenda to pacify them, Trump should reject the poisoned chalice. This is the same old con.

A partial agenda: First, he should ignore any importunings by President Obama to permit passage of the Trans-Pacific Partnership in a lame-duck session – and let the trade deal sink by year’s end.

On Jan. 20, he should have vetted and ready to nominate to the high court a brilliant constitutionalist and strict constructionist.
With a new education secretary, he should announce White House intent to work for repeal of Common Core and announce the introduction of legislation to put federal resources behind the charter schools that have proven to be a godsend to inner-city black children.

Trump should announce a date soon for repeal and replacement of Obamacare and introduction of his new tax-and-trade legislation to bring back manufacturing and create American jobs.

Donald Trump said in his campaign that that this is America’s last chance. If we lose this one, he said, we lose the country.
The president-elect should ignore his more cautious counselors and act with the urgency of his declared beliefs.

IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING WHERE DIAMOND AND SILK WERE:
CAN YOU IMAGINE THESE TWO AS PRESS SECRETARY?

Trump Picks Top Climate Skeptic to Lead EPA Transition
Choosing Myron Ebell means Trump plans to drastically reshape climate policies
Ebell is a well-known and polarizing figure in the energy and environment realm. His participation in the EPA transition signals that the Trump team is looking to drastically reshape the climate policies the agency has pursued under the Obama administration. Ebell’s role is likely to infuriate environmentalists and Democrats but buoy critics of Obama’s climate rules.

Mitchell Shocked by Photo of Trump and Obama Together: ‘Good Lord’

“That is the moment, Donald Trump in the Oval Office with President Obama,” Mitchell said.

[CtH: Just a guess here that if this were 2008, she would have said, “President-Elect Obama in the Oval Office with George Bush.”]

She continued to report on the historic moment but let her emotions go and appeared shocked before ending her comments.

“But, good lord, that is an image a lot of people did not expect to see,” Mitchell said.

President-Elect Trump Saluted by Firefighters as He Leaves New York for Meeting with President Obama

President-Elect Donald Trump flew out of New York City’s LaGuardia Airport Thursday morning aboard his private jet Trump Force One. As the plane taxied for takeoff firefighters paid their respects to Trump with a traditional water cannon salute. Nearby, a group of firefighters and officials enthusiastically waved to Trump as the plane rolled by them.

FIRST RESPONDERS WILL BE TREATED A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY UNDER TRUMP
Trump calls slain cop’s widow to offer condolences

OF ALL THE POLICE OFFICERS SLAUGHTERED ON OBAMA’S WATCH HE SENT REPRESENTATIVES TO THE FUNERALS OF THE CRIMINALS BUT NEVER A COP… EVER.

President-elect Donald Trump called slain NYPD Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo’s widow Thursday morning and personally extended his “condolences” to her on the day that thousands of police officers paid tribute to the fallen Finest at his funeral.

“I’m very sorry I cannot be there with you today. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time,” Trump told the grieving woman, according to a source.

“I want to express my condolences from me and my family.”

Tuozzolo, a married father of two, was shot and killed last week by 35-year-old ex-con Manuel Rosales. Tuozzolo had been responding to a report of a break-in.

UAW seeks to join Trump in effort to dismantle NAFTA
For years, the UAW has railed against NAFTA and other free trade agreements while Republicans have generally supported free trade deals. This year, Trump turned Republican politics upside down.

IF HE SIGNS THE XL PIPELINE DEAL, WHICH I THINK HE WILL, HE’LL PUT MORE THAN 30,000 SKILLED UNION TRADES MEN BACK TO WORK.  HE CAN MAKE GREAT INROADS INTO THE MONOLITH THAT IS THE UNION VOTE.

Clinton Couldn’t Win Over White Women
But they split along educational lines.
Throughout these many months, the Clinton team made it clear that they believed her historic candidacy had the potential to sway portions of the electorate, most especially women voters. They were counting in no small part on the support of sisterhood.

But Clinton’s stunning loss Tuesday night showed that issues of culture and class mattered more to many American women than their gender.

Lou Dobbs: If I Were Trump My Hands Would Have Been Clutching at Paul Ryan’s Throat

Donald Trump flew to Washington DC on Thursday to meet with President Obama, Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell

Paul Ryan was a very vocal critic of Donald Trump for the past year. Ryan even pulled his endorsement of Donald Trump a month before the election. If Ryan was not on Hillary’s payroll he should have been.

Tonight Lou Dobbs remarked on Trump’s meeting with anti-Trump Speaker Paul Ryan.

Lou Dobbs: I’ve got to tell you I’m such a base and petty man that if Paul Ryan had done to me what he did to Donald Trump my hands would, without any power to resist it all, would be clutching at his throat. And, I have to say, Donald Trump was very presidential. He actually may be seeking to attain the level of saint here in what he has tolerated.

Mayors of NY and Los Angeles pledge to remain immigrant sanctuaries
Officials in New York and Los Angeles on Thursday said they hoped President-elect Donald Trump would not follow through on a campaign promise to withhold federal funds from “sanctuary cities” that shield people who are in the country illegally.

HE’LL CUT YOUR FUNDING THEN YOU CAN PAY TO TAKE CARE OF THOSE MONGRELS YOURSELVES.

Mom Throws Child Out In Street For Voting For Trump In School Election

Trump’s Transition Team Considers Sarah Palin For Possible Cabinet Spot
WHAT STANDS OUT IS THAT REPUBLICANS HAVE A FAR DEEPER POOL OF TALENT TO PICK FROM BECAUSE MORE OF THEM HAVE REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE ACTUALLY WORKING JOBS BESIDES GETTING ELECTED AND RE-ELECTED.

The Trump campaign is floating the idea of tapping the former Alaskan governor as Trump’s interior secretary. Palin has made no secret about her interest in holding a position in a Trump administration.

“If I were head of that, I’d get rid of it,” Palin said in an interview in September, referring to the Department of Energy. She said abolishing the department would give states greater control of energy policy within their borders.

[CtH: I’d love to see her heading up Energy.  She did wonderful things for the industry in Alaska and really knows her business.]

Canadian Militia Vows To Protect Borders From Illegal Americans

“This ain’t no Mexico border. Illegals will face snow and deadly cold temperatures, notwithstanding dangerous predator attacks from bears, cougars and wolves. If you’re an American crossing the border illegally, your chances of survival are pretty slim ”  – John C. McCaullagh, Militia leader

“Killing illegal citizens is a crime in Canada and we don’t openly encourage violence within our organization, but we can’t prevent members from shooting a few rounds at them just to scare them away. If you accidentally get hit in the knee or in the leg, without medical assistance, you’re a dead man within 2 or 3 days” he warns. “Better alive in the US than dead in Canada. It just ain’t worth the gamble,” he adds.

Top Clinton Adviser: She Didn’t ‘Contemplate Losing’ the White House
A top campaign adviser to Hillary Clinton said the former Democratic nominee “really didn’t contemplate losing” the presidential election to her opponent Donald Trump.  The unnamed adviser told People magazine on Wednesday that campaign staff were unsure of what Clinton would do next.

NY Times Crank: “America Elected a Bigot” – “I Do Not Respect the President-Elect”

New York Times columnist Charles Blow went off on a racist tirade against Donald Trump — who was never accused of being racist until he ran for president as a Republican.

Trump is already working to erase Obama’s legacy from history
HOW MUCH HE CAN OR WILL ACCOMPLISH REMAINS TO BE SEEN

President-elect Donald Trump was surprisingly gracious as he met President Barack Obama in the Oval Office on Thursday but make no mistake: He is already working to erase major parts of Obama’s legacy from the history books.

Trump will be able to change some of Obama’s policies with a quick stroke of the pen. Others will be much more difficult, requiring justification to pass legal hurdles or buy-in from lawmakers on Capitol Hill or foreign leaders.

[CtH: I’m very encouraged by Trump’s behavior here. It points to what I’ve been hoping — i.e., that he is capable of growing into the job, something Obama The Petty never did.]

Life For Our Veterans (And Our Military) Could Be Much Different Soon
I POSTED THIS THIS MORNING. SOMEBODY MUST BE READING OUR LITTLE BLOG.

On both fronts, thankfully, I believe a new era dawns. On the campaign trail, candidate Donald Trump made both rebuilding our military and fixing the VA two of his signature issues.

President-elect Trump is poised to do the same. President-elect Trump has pledged to get rid of the disastrous defense sequester, invest in long-overdue future military technologies, grow the ranks and numbers of ships and aircraft, and repeal stifling rules of engagement that handcuff our troops.

In just a few years, the posture of our military could look much different—ensuring America both deters aggression and can swiftly defeat enemies.

[CtH: I hope this signals better working conditions for my kids.]

Franken: Americans Should Blame Republicans for Rising Obamacare Premiums

ALAS, THERE’S ALWAYS A SKUNK TO STINK THINGS UP

“The people they should be mad at, really, are Republican officeholders who refused to do anything other than vote to repeal the [Affordable Care Act],” he said. On September 30, Minnesota Commerce Commissioner Mike Rothman announced that health insurance rates will increase from 50 percent to 67 percent in 2017.

[CtH: Typical Democrat who can’t admit he was wrong, ever.  They assured us that THEIR “AFFORDABLE Care Act” was going to lower premiums.]

Concerns grow of press kept at bay during Donald Trump presidency
9_142016_160318-pol-trump-me8201_s878x627
I WOULDN’T BLAME HIM A BIT. AND I’D NEVER DO TAPED INTERVIEWS, GIVEN THE MEDIA’S PENCHANT FOR ‘CREATIVE EDITING.’

[CtH: Second that!]

President-elect Donald Trump never hid his contempt for the news media during the campaign and has continued to keep the press at bay after winning the election, raising concerns he will end the tradition of allowing a pool of reporters to cover his every move in public.

Mr. Trump, who at campaign rallies regularly denounced the news media as “the most dishonest people you’ll ever meet,” has support for breaking the tradition and keeping the public in the dark about his daily whereabouts.

“I don’t think Trump needs the press pool,” said Rep. Duncan Hunter, a California Republican who is a top Trump ally on Capitol Hill. “He didn’t need it when he ran and he doesn’t need it as president of the United States.”

“If I had just won the election after everyone said I’d lose and rooted for my opponent, why would I give anyone the time of day,” said Mr. Hunter.

GOP To Use Previously Unheard Of Tactic To Slam Dunk Trump Agenda
WE’VE BEEN WAITING DECADES FOR THE REPUBLICANS TO GROW A PAIR AND START DISHING OUT SOME OF WHAT THEY’VE HAD TO TAKE FROM SCARY HARRY AND HIS MERRY BAND OF CUTTHROATS.

The key is “reconciliation,” the part of the congressional budget process that allows highly controversial policies to be considered in the Senate without any possibility of them being filibustered.

But reconciliation by itself isn’t the unprecedented procedure; it’s the novel way the leadership plans to use reconciliation: For the first time in the 4-plus decades’ history of the congressional budget process, reconciliation may occur twice in the same year.

Harry Reid Dismisses Donald Trump: ‘A Sexual Predator Who Lost the Popular Vote’

I’M GOING TO MISS THIS SORRY ASS LIKE AN IMPACTED WISDOM TOOTH

Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid broke his silence Friday on Donald Trump’s victory, denouncing Trump as a “sexual predator” who “lost the popular vote” and “emboldened the forces of hate and bigotry in America”—and who is now solely responsible for healing the country’s gaping political wounds.

In a fiery statement released three days after the election, Reid, who is retiring, holds Trump accountable for his comments on the campaign trail that inspired “fear” in women, Hispanics and African-Americans in the U.S.

[CtH: Well, I guess he’d know all about sexual predators in the Oval Office, now wouldn’t he?]

He Had Me, Then He Lost Me

Mitch McConnell has been described as a turtle. He reminds me of another reptile…a snake.
My memory is not so short that I’ve forgotten the way he treated the Tea Party members who were elected in 2010. How he bragged about destroying them. He’s the ultimate DC insider. He’s almost never stood up to his buddies the democrats when there was a deal to be made and he could get something out of it. Almost never. Then he starts sounding like Trump is helping him find a little courage.
McConnell’s Decision To Block Obama’s SCOTUS Pick Looks Brilliant Right Now
When news broke that Scalia had died unexpectedly Feb. 13, McConnell stunned the White House by almost immediately releasing a statement declaring the Senate would block any Obama nominee to replace him on the bench.
“The American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice,” McConnell said in a statement less than an hour after the news of Scalia’s death broke. “Therefore, this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new President.”

THEN I SAW THIS:
McConnell: Oh Yeah, We’re Going To Move To Repeal Obamacare
I’LL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT
Senate Republicans, flush with victory and defying the odds, have maintained their majority in the upper chamber and vowed to move quickly on repealing Obamacare. Senate Majority Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said, “It’s pretty high on our agenda as you know. I would be shocked if we didn’t move forward and keep our commitment to the American people.”

HE’S SAYING THE RIGHT THINGS, BUT THEN THERE’S THIS:
McConnell hints against nuke option to kill Dem filibusters
IF HE ALLOWS THE DEMOCRATS TO FILIBUSTER TRUMP WILL NEVER GET A CONSTITUTIONALIST APPOINTED TO SCOTUS.
THAT WAS ONE OF THE BIGGEST REASONS HE WON TUESDAY.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell hinted Wednesday that he doesn’t support the controversial idea of changing Senate rules to kill Democratic filibusters, and instead indicated that this move might be seen as an overreach by Republicans.
When Democrats ran the Senate, they changed the rules to allow for simple majority votes for judicial nominees, but not Supreme Court nominees, which can still be filibustered. But despite speculation that Republicans will take this next step, McConnell indicated some resistance to it when asked.
The option of ending filibusters on high court nominees has been raised because Republicans have blocked President Obama’s nominee, Merrick Garland, for months now. As a result, Democrats are expected to block Donald Trump’s nominee once he takes office next year, and some Republicans say another rule change is needed to ensure the nominee can get through.

There is much to do and not much time to get it done. In two years there will be another fight and nobody knows what the landscape will look like. Suffice to say Trump is no weak-kneed moderate pansy.

HADN’T PLANNED ON PUTTING THIS HERE, BUT IT JUST FIT
Trump: The Left Just Lost The War On Climate Change
The Global Warming/Climate Change Hoax is the biggest scam ever perpetrated on this planet. It is a socialist scheme to redistribute wealth and control populations by restricting their access to abundant, affordable energy. Myron Ebell would be an excellent choice for EPA Administrator.
But with a climate skeptic running the most powerful nation in the world, the $1.5 trillion per annum climate change industry is going to start to unravel big time. A Trump presidency is likely to be good news for fossil fuels (and heavy industry that needs cheap energy to survive); and very bad news for renewables.

What does Trump’s victory mean for energy policy? ‘Climate sanity has been restored to the US’
Real estate mogul Donald Trump has won the presidential election, and that likely means the Obama administration’s global warming agenda will be massively scaled back or scrapped altogether.
cdbnxelxeaemvrx_zpskl3npn0tTrump, a Republican, has promised to cut the EPA, scrap the Paris climate treaty and rollback rules holding back U.S. energy production.
Trump’s win comes as United Nations delegates meet in Morocco to discuss how to implement a major global warming agreement hashed out in Paris last year. Trump promised to tear up the agreement, and scrap the main way Obama planned on meeting his climate pledge.

THIS IS WHY I HATED HAVING TO DO AN OUTLINE FOR MY WRITING IN SCHOOL. I COULD NEVER STICK TO THE SCRIPT.
The Nuclear Option: Welcome, Democrats, to the Revolution
Tens of millions of voters cast ballots Tuesday for Hillary Clinton. Except for a relative handful of wealthy and connected people, nobody actually wanted to vote for her.
She is the most corrupt, compromised, dishonest, self-dealing, delusional and unlikeable candidate perhaps to ever run for president.
I used to wonder why President Obama would want to hand his legacy over to such fake and felonious monster. Then I realized that he doesn’t really care about anything but himself and for as long as she is around, people will miss him.
Anyway, Mrs. Clinton’s campaign was about everything and anything and, in the end, nothing.
In the Republican revolution, Mr. Trump gave voice to voters who have been ignored by GOP leaders for decades. He gave them a voice and together they changed the party’s stance on immigration, trade, economics, national security and globalism.
He uprooted and altered the very language the party spoke. The whispered tiptoeing of political correctness was slain.
The same revolution that exploded the Republican Party this year is still boiling inside the Democratic Party. Eventually, it will explode. And the longer it seethes, the more devastating the explosion will be.

Debate Quickies

The entire Battle Royale lasted almost two hours last night. Chances are you didn’t sit through the entire thing. That’s understandable, I didn’t either. The fact is I can barely stand to listen to that lying crone for more than a few seconds. Who won the debate is strictly a matter of opinion. Maybe Donald felt he had to be restrained, for fear of being labeled a bully. I would have sliced and diced both her and that miserable shill who was doing the enabling… errr… moderating this spectacle. See previous post for more on that feckless pile of dreck.
All the videos are less than 2 minutes because my pain tolerance isn’t that high. Everyone with a computer has an opinion on last night’s show, but like they say: opinions are like bungholes… everybody has one.
Not exactly Socrates, but it’s all I got.

Clinton: Everyone Is Racist, Not Just Police

Hillary Clinton said “everyone” in the country is implicitly biased against African Americans during Monday night’s presidential debate.
Moderator Lester Holt prompted the response when he asked Clinton if she thought the police were implicitly biased against blacks.
“Lester, I think implicit bias is a problem for everyone, not just police,” she said.
HERE’S AN IDEA: HOW ABOUT DOING WHAT A POLICEMAN TELLS YOU TO DO, RATHER THAN RUN, FIGHT, OR TRY TO KILL THE COP.
SHE’S NOT ALL THAT POPULAR WITH THE HOMIES, SO THIS IS HER SUCKING UP.

Hillary Clinton Says She’s Very Concerned About Cyber Hacking
“But increasingly we are seeing cyber attacks coming from states, organs of states, the most recent and troubling of these has been Russia. There’s no doubt now Russia has used cyber attacks against all kinds of organizations in our country,” Clinton said. “I am deeply concerned about this.”
SO CONCERNED SHE ILLEGALLY USED A PRIVATE SERVER AND LEFT CLASSIFIED INFORMATION FOR EVERY THIRD-RATE CYBER-PUNK TO SEE.

Trump mocks Hillary for recycling line saying he shouldn’t be trusted with the nuclear codes if he can be baited by a tweet
‘So a man who can be provoked by a tweet should not have his fingers anywhere near the nuclear codes as far as I think anyone with any sense about this should be concerned,’ Clinton said, using a familiar applause line that she’s deployed during various foreign policy speeches against her Republican rival.
Trump sniffed upon hearing it.
‘That line is starting to get a little bit old, I must say,’ he said.
‘It’s a good one though,’ she shot back. ‘It describes the problem.’

Media ‘Ooohs,’ Squeals With Delight After Clinton ‘Burns’ Trump Over His Microphone
Hillary Clinton’s campaign press corps let out a collective, giddy “oooh” on Tuesday after the Democratic nominee threw out a zinger against Donald Trump for his complaints about his debate podium’s microphone.
“Anybody who complains about the microphone is not having a good night,” she said.

Clinton Received Debate Questions Week Before Debate, According to Sources
‘WHAT A SURPRISE’…SAID NO ONE EVER
Earlier last week an NBC intern was seen hand delivering a package to Clinton’s campaign headquarters, according to sources. The package was not given to secretarial staff, as would normally happen, but the intern was instead ushered into the personal office of Clinton campaign manager Robert Mook. Members of the Clinton press corps from several media organizations were in attendance at the time, and a reporter from Fox News recognized the intern, but said he was initially confused because the NBC intern was dressed like a Fed Ex employee.

‘Hillary, you’re bought and paid for’: Clinton’s top super PAC founder offers Trump debate zinger
DAVID BROCK IS STILL A SLIMY PUNK
When it was Brock’s turn to rattle off a zinger, he offered advice to both presidential nominees, telling Clinton to emphasize Trump’s eyebrow-raising ties to Russia, and advising Trump to highlight Clinton’s relationship with rich campaign donors.
“For Hillary, I’d say, ‘A vote for you is a vote for the ISIS terrorists and Vladimir Putin,’ and then open up both of those issues. Open up on investments from Russia. I think that would be effective,” Brock said.
He added: “For Trump I’m going to give an objective answer. I think he should say, ‘Hillary, you’re bought and paid for. You even came to my wedding because I gave you money.'”

Audience Breaks Rules, Cheers When Trump Mentions Deleted Hillary Emails
Holt asked Trump why he hasn’t released his tax returns, to which Trump asked why Hillary Clinton’s staff deleted 30,000 of her emails during her time in the State Department. As soon as he said the word “emails,” the audience cheered and applauded. Holt then reminded the crowd they are supposed to hold their applause until the end of the debate.
“I made a mistake and I take responsibility for using a private server,” Clinton responded.
“That’s for sure,” Trump agreed.

Omarosa Interviews Chris Hayes and Destroys Him

PUNK NEVER HAD A CHANCE
She told him to actually be a journalist.
“I challenge you to be a journalist tonight,” she said.
Hayes asked her if Trump will explain why he changed his stance on the birther issue during the first presidential debate on Monday.
“You know I find that to be a very interesting place for you to start, when there are so many issues that Americans are faced, including the economy, jobs, education, and you want to start with the birther,” she said. “The good thing is that he’s put that to bed and ready to move on.”
Hayes kept pushing the subject by telling her that Trump has spent five years going on about Obama’s birth place.
Manigault pointed out that he did acknowledge Obama is an American citizen and he’s going to move on from that and focus on issues.
Hayes was not going to take that answer.

Trump Camp Launches Ad Mocking Hillary Clinton for Asking Why She Isn’t 50 Points Ahead

Top climate skeptic to lead Trump’s EPA transition team
Myron Ebell, director of energy and environment policy at the conservative think tank Competitive Enterprise Institute, is heading Trump’s EPA transition preparation, E&E Daily reported Monday.
Ebell is an outspoken, longtime skeptic of the scientific consensus that human activity is dramatically changing the climate. He often refers to warnings about global warming as climate “alarmism” and is a vocal critic of President Obama’s climate change regulations.
Ebell has argued that the Clean Power Plan is illegal and that the Paris climate change agreement is unconstitutional.
Trump also doubts that human activity causes climate change.

LA Police Union: Police Commission Wants Cops To Run From Armed Suspects
“The key facts in this case are not in dispute. A female suspect, armed with an 8 to 9-inch knife, charged at officers, repeatedly ignored commands to stop, and was recorded yelling ‘shoot me’ as she swung her knife from side to side,” the LAPPL Board of Directors wrote in a blog post.
The armed suspect immediately closed the space between her knife and the police officers from 70 feet to no more than 5 feet in less 10 seconds. At this point, the first officer shot from his service weapon.
The Los Angeles Police Protective League had some pretty harsh words for these idiots on the commission. In their official blog, among other scathing comments, they wrote:
It sure must be easy to talk about “redeploying” an officer’s position while sipping a Diet Coke or bottled water while sitting in a police-guarded, air-conditioned room, in a cushy office chair, watching the events unfold in slow motion on a big-screen TV.

“It’s important to pull back and look at the facts,” Mook said. “The FBI did a comprehensive and deep investigation into this, and at the conclusion of that, FBI Director [James] Comey came out and said to the world that there was no case here, that they did not have evidence of wrongdoing on Hillary’s part.”
Tapper rephrased his question as a way to provide clarity to his first inquiry.
“So, what’s the Hillary cover-up operation that the IT worker was referring to?” Tapper asked.
Mook dodged answering the question, shifting blame to Republicans.
WHAT DID YOU EXPECT HIM TO SAY?
“YEAH, JAKE, SHE’S A FILTHY, LYING BITCH WHO’S BEEN GETTING AWAY WITH COMMITTING CRIMES FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS?”

Amazon steps in to ‘fix’ Hillary book review
But result is 5-star ratings with scathingly negative comments

But Thursday afternoon, there were only 255, with many of the most critical reviews removed by Amazon, whose CEO, Jeff Bezos, owns the Washington Post, which created an army of 20 reporters and researchers to investigate the life of Donald Trump.
From suz702, who posted a five-star ranking: “I didn’t buy this book or read this book, but I have read the reviews, and enjoyed hours of entertaining, fun filled reading, expressing the TRUTH, about a crooked, lying, corrupt, terminally ill Presidential candidate, who stole the nomination from Bernie Sanders, and who is about the steal the Presidency with the use of election fraud.”

‘Radical’ Liberal Judge Un-Recuses Herself In Challenge Of Obama’s Global Warming Rule
A federal judge, described during her confirmation hearings as one of the most “radical” to ever take the bench, won’t be recusing herself in the case against the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) signature global warming regulation.
This is unequivocally bad for [EPA opponents],” Brian Potts, a lawyer with Perkins Coie, told Utility Dive. “I’ve always known her to be one of the more pro-EPA judges based on her decisions and political history.”
WHY DO YOU SUPPOSE REID CHANGED THE RULES TO SHOVE ALL OBAMA’S HACK JUDGES THROUGH? IT’S HOW THEY GET WHAT THEY WANT.

Debate Details Revealed: Hillary Gets First Question
“MADAME SECRETARY: WHAT WILL IT FEEL LIKE TO GO BACK TO THE WHITE HOUSE AGAIN, THIS TIME AS PRESIDENT?”
The 90-minute debate will be broken into six, 15 minute “pods,” the Commission on Presidential Debates announced on Sunday.
Clinton will receive the first question. She will have two minutes to answer and Trump will have two minutes to respond.
That will be followed by 10 minutes of open conversation and debate.

Where did all those ‘Trump Lies’ articles come from this weekend? The Clinton campaign, of course
The New York Times started the chain reaction on Saturday: “A Week of Whoppers”
Then, the LA Times, Washington Post and Politico followed suit.
As CNN media analyst Brian Stelter points out, the publications claim the timing was a coincidence:
Several of the editors who were involved said the timing was a coincidence. But there was clearly a desire to publish stories before Monday’s debate, when Trump and Clinton’s truthfulness will surely be at issue.
“Never in modern presidential politics has a major candidate made false statements as routinely as Trump has,” the L.A. Times declared on page one of Sunday’s paper.
Politico Magazine’s team analyzed every statement made by both Trump and Clinton for five days and said “the conclusion is inescapable: Trump’s mishandling of facts and propensity for exaggeration so greatly exceed Clinton’s as to make the comparison almost ludicrous.”
Stelter’s sources also claimed there was no coordination with the Clinton campaign.

Trump campaign manager worried Clinton will say The Donald is being ‘mean to a woman’ during the debate if he questions her record
Kellyanne Conway said she’s concerned that Clinton’s ‘going to try to interrupt him and confuse the people watching’
‘And then people will say, “He was mean to a woman,” and the headlines will scream and Twitter will blow up, even if it’s not true’
Said the Clinton campaign is ‘suggesting that the questions will be tougher on her because of sexism…Seriously?’
Conway also said she’s tracking Trump reporters’ tweets and has singled out two journalists as being negative toward him 92 percent of the time

OF COURSE SHE’S GOING TO PLAY THE VICTIM… IT’S ALL SHE HAS

Election model gives Clinton 332 electoral votes
IT WILL ALL BE OVER SOON ENOUGH
The model, which chooses a party, not a candidate, to win, awards Electoral College votes based on state-by-state outcomes.
The model shows a clear Clinton victory with the candidates slated to face off in their first presidential debate on Monday night.
The latest forecast puts 16 states, which includes Washington, D.C., firmly in Democratic territory, with 11 more leaning in that direction, for a total of 332 electoral votes.

Michelle Obama can’t hide her disdain for Melania Trump
There is no sugarcoating Michelle Obama’s venomous response to a question from Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night. At the same time black mobs were beating up innocent white people in Charlotte, North Carolina, showing no mercy, Mrs. Obama, appearing on Colbert’s late night show, went after Melania Trump.
HER PROBLEM IS A NANNY GOAT IS MORE FEMININE THAN HER FAT ASS
Is Michelle Obama’s obvious disdain for Melania a post-traumatic response from her Princeton days? Maybe. In 2010, the wrath of Michelle was directed at another fashion model, former first lady of France, Carla Bruni, in a now famous photo.

High-Frequency Noise Pollution Concerns Mount as Florida Releases Bats to Combat Zika

Bats2j

And Hillary shrieks enough by herself. With thousands of little Hillaries flying around, the noise will be deafening.

Miami New Times – Bats are, famously, one of the mosquito’s natural predators. According to some experts, a single brown bat can gobble up to 1,000 mosquitoes in a single hour. So if the county released a cave’s worth of bats into the Wynwood sky every day, Miami’s mosquito problem would be eradicated in a fortnight, right?

Turns out the idea isn’t all that crazy: Last month, the New York Times chronicled suburban North Hempstead, New York’s plan to build “bat houses” — which look and function like bird houses except with slot-shaped holes for bats — across its Long Island town. According to one mosquito expert the Times quoted, bats burn so many calories through flying that they pretty much have to inhale mosquitoes indiscriminately to keep themselves full.

But town officials say it’s impossible to quantify what impact the bats have had, and Laura Finn, a Central Florida bat conservation expert who spoke with New Times via phone, says she doubts they would be able to wipe out mosquitoes on their own.

Read the whole story at Miami New Times.

My fellow Americans, Obama despises you.

The White House announced it is forging ahead with its fascistic EPA “climate” regulations AND taunting Republicans, saying there’s little they can do to stop it.

In other words, their response to our voting in a Republican majority is “Fuck You.”

2014_10 That Lincoln-Obama comparison by Terrell

Clearly, the Empty Suit’s disdain for us has in no way been diminished by having his butt kicked earlier this month.

McConnell noted, “They’ve been on a rampage all across the country. And I think coal is the most conspicuous example, but it’s happening in a lot of other areas and I think you’re going to see bipartisan support for trying to rein them in.”

Although we won’t have a veto-proof majority, passing bills and forcing Obama to veto them will keep this crap tied up and in the headlines. We also have the courts, where the EPA’s authority to limit emissions have been and will likely continue to be challenged.

2014_10 09 NOAA report destroys AGW

We should resist the urge to just chuckle at the chuckle-heads who believe man can have a significant impact on the climate, because many of them are very powerful people seeking to destroy the United States of America via “climate control.”  I see this happening in two ways.  One, the politicized Obama EPA is using it to weaken us economically by stifling energy production and increasing the cost of energy. Two, Obama and his cronies are pushing us into signing treaties that will forfeit our sovereignty to global agencies like the U.N.

Obama Suffers 12th Unanimous Defeat in SCOTUS

2014_06 26 Obama over reaches - 12th defeat in SCOTUS

If Obama’s Department of Justice had been successful in these cases, the federal government would now have the power to:

• Attach a GPS to a citizen’s vehicle to monitor his movements, without having any cause to believe that person committed a crime (United States v. Jones).
• Deprive landowners of the right to challenge potential government fines as high as $75,000 per day and eliminate their ability to have a hearing to challenge those fines (Sackett v. EPA).
• Interfere with a church’s selection of its own ministers (Hosanna-Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church & School v. EEOC).
• Override state law whenever the President desires (Arizona v. United States).
• Dramatically extend statutes of limitations to impose penalties for acts committed decades ago (Gabelli v. SEC).
• Destroy private property without paying just compensation (Arkansas Fish & Game Commission vs. United States).
• Impose double income taxation (PPL Corp. v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue).
• Limit a property owner’s constitutional defenses (Horne v. USDA).
• Drastically expand federal criminal law (Sekhar v. United States).
• Charge petty crimes as terrorism under federal law (Bond v. United States).
• Discover regulatory powers beyond the intention of statutes passed by Congress (Utility Air Regulatory Group v. EPA).
• Ignore the Senate’s right to oversee all presidential appointments (NLRB v. Canning).

To give you a flavor for the aggressive overreach these cases represent:

  • Bond v. United States: Bond had smeared a couple of toxic chemicals on surfaces her husband’s mistress was likely to touch and gave the woman a mild rash. The feds actually charged her with possession and use of a chemical weapon! SCOTUS ruled unanimously that this was unconstitutional.
  • Utility Air Regulatory Group v. EPA: The EPA decided to regulate carbon dioxide to such a degree that it would essentially bring construction to a halt nationwide. SCOTUS condemned the EPA’s attempt to go far beyond the bounds of what the legislation passed by Congress ever intended or allowed.

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) says these twelve defeats represent only “the tip of the iceberg” because more cases concerning presidential overreach are still working their way up to the Supreme Court.
