A lot of sort of big words

Two former Secretaries of State published an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal last week that was critical of the Iran nuclear deal.

John Hayward at Breitbart said, “It was a very weighty piece, filled with serious criticism that … the agreement … would not do much to slow down Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

President Powderpuff’s State Dept Spox, Marie Harf, dismissed the entire thing as “a lot of sort of big words and big thoughts.”

Harf not SNL

A reporter suggested that one of the big thoughts in the piece was that “there are not enough big words and big thoughts in what the Administration is pursuing … in the Middle East right now.”

Harf responded, “Think about either an Iran with a nuclear weapon. Think about how that would create even more instability. Think about having to utilize other options to prevent them from getting a nuclear weapon and the kinds of instability that would lead to.”

Uhhhh … yeah.  That is what we ARE ALL THINKING ABOUT!

What we wanted from you was some clarification of how the criticisms of two former Secretaries of State are somehow not justified, some small reassurance that the plan Obama is pursuing is going to prevent a nuclear Iran.  Somehow “a lot of sort of big words” doesn’t put one’s mind to rest, you know?  But hey … not to worry!  Cuz Our President Can Shoot Rainbows Out of His Hand!

Evil and the stupid sheeple who blindly support it

2015_02 27 ISIS kill gay man

“For over ten years, gay Palestinians have been fleeing their own country and settling in Tel Aviv, one of the most gay-friendly cities on the planet. … So you might imagine that gay Westerners, with an uncensored press and ready access to information about the torture and execution of homosexuals under administrations like Hamas’s, would be reluctant to support barbaric medieval homophobia. Surely they would feel a natural affinity to the permissive democracy in this conflict. … Alas, not.” – by Milo Yiannopoulos (Aug 1, 2014)

The Crusades: History vs. Obama’s High Horse Pucky

2015_02 Obama names Christianity but not Islam

As we have seen many times, there is no moment so grave that our current president will not to use it to get up on his high horse, take a shot at Western civilization, and emphasize his own moral superiority. … No littler man has ever been president.” – David Gelernter

  • On Tuesday, ISIS posted a video of themselves burning a Jordanian pilot alive in a steel cage.
  • On Tuesday, President Obama condemned the murder and said it “just indicates the degree to which, whatever ideology they’re operating off of, it’s bankrupt.”
  • On Wednesday, the United Nations issued a report detailing ISIS crimes including “mass executions of boys, as well as reports of beheadings, crucifixions of children, and burying children alive.”
  • On Thursday, President Obama used his time at the National Prayer Breakfast to criticize the “terrible deeds” committed “in the name of Christ.”

Fox News: Kelly Files clip – Obama has never once condemned crimes committed “in the name of Mohammed”

Bernard Lewis, the greatest living English-language historian of Islam said, “The Crusades could more accurately be described as a limited, belated and, in the last analysis, ineffectual response to the jihad — a failed attempt to recover by a Christian holy war what had been lost to a Muslim holy war.”

Crusades Muslim vs Christian

“In his ignorant and bigoted remarks to religious leaders this week, President Obama parroted the jihadi propaganda [that blames] the cultural incompetence, practical indolence, and spiritual decay of the entire Middle East [on] Richard Coeur de Lion’s twelfth-century swordplay.” – Ralph Peters

PIG Islam

We are all descended from cavemen who broke the skulls of their enemies with rocks for fun or profit. But that hardly mitigates the crimes of a man who does the same thing today. I see no problem judging the behavior of the Islamic State and its apologists from the vantage point of the West’s high horse, because we’ve earned the right to sit in that saddle.” – Jonah Goldberg

Bring in the clowns! Oh wait … they’re already here.

2015_02 04 BHO Iran by Terrell

February 3, 2015: Washington (CNN) – President Barack Obama said a new video that purports to show ISIS burning a Jordanian pilot alive in a cage is “just one more indication of the viciousness and barbarity of this organization. And it, I think, will redouble the vigilance and determination on the part of a global coalition to make sure that they are degraded and ultimately defeated.  It also just indicates the degree to which WHATEVER IDEOLOGY THEY’RE OPERATING OFF OF, IT’S BANKRUPT.”  (CtH: CAPS mine)

Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the top-ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, said the execution should “unite a coalition against ISIS. If you let this kind of brutality dominate, whether it’s the Middle East or North Africa, whether it’s the world, just think of what the world and those areas will be like. The brutality, I think, is unprecedented.”  (“Will be like”? Has she been keeping up with the news?! Good grief!)

Lt. Gen. Vincent Stewart, Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, told the House Armed Services Committee, that ISIS has been able to extend its reach beyond its bases in Iraq and Syria. “With affiliates in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, the group is beginning to assemble a growing international footprint that includes ungoverned and under governed areas” and that the numbers of foreign fighters flowing in and out of Iraq and Syria is “troubling.”

Yemen, Crown Jewel of Obama’s Middle East Policy, Descends Into Chaos

In the wake of the total surrender of the Yemeni government to Iran-allied Houthi rebels, the U.S. State Department has had only one profoundly unhelpful message: We don’t know what we’re doing, and neither do you, so refrain from speculating about it. This message was delivered to Washington reporters by seasoned State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki as the resignation of Yemeni President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi (pictured) was unfolding and his home was being shelled. As quoted by the New York Times: “We’re not in a position — and I don’t think any of you are either — to assess what it means at this point in time.”
_80459521_80459520
Despite Jen’s terse instructions not to think about it, I’d wager there are many good conclusions that we can draw from the events in Yemen. One is the simple fact that this is a spectacular failure for the Obama White House and its policies in the Middle East. The other is the nature of the striking betrayal that happened in the final hours of the collapse. According to Sebastian Usher, BBC:

The resignation of the Yemeni president and his government is likely to plunge an already unstable country into uncharted territory.

It comes just a day after a deal was announced between the president and the Houthi rebels that was meant to paper over the sharpest edges of the current crisis.

The rebels received the concessions they demanded. For their part, they were meant to withdraw from the presidential palace and from Mr Hadi’s own house, as well as releasing a presidential aide they abducted last week.

They have done none of this. Mr Hadi and his government say they cannot continue under such conditions. Yemen was already close to chaos – now it seems it has no president and no government.

I’m not referring to the obvious betrayal of the Houthi rebels. Everyone knew they would not keep any agreements after they had gained the upper hand militarily. What I mean by betrayal is that Hadi’s government followed the recipe of appeasement that the U.S. State Department forced on them. Giving the rebels everything they wanted and then expecting them to back off was Obama’s strategy, and the Hadi government followed the script to perfection. Now they have paid for it with their utter destruction. My question is, who will hold the U.S. State Department accountable for this failure? The Yemeni government that they supported is now in no position to do so.

Blood Money

ISIS Global Swarming - scorpions

ISIS is hiring foreign doctors to harvest organs in hospitals in Iraq and Syria not just from their own dead militants, but also from LIVE captives. They then sell them into the global black organ market to help finance their war on everything that is decent and good in this world.

This story broke in the UK, not here. Here, the media is too busy agonizing over dead thugs and 5 minutes of waterboarding that happened more than 10 years ago.

BREAKING: Terror attack on Jewish synagogue

2014_11 18 Terror attack on Jerusalem synagogue

  • Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who warned of a “harsh response,” ordered the demolition of the homes of the two Palestinians who carried out the attack.
  • U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said he spoke to Netanyahu after the assault and denounced it as an “act of pure terror and senseless brutality and violence.”
  • A small militant group calling itself the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said the terrorists were members.
  • Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the attack, the first time he has done so since a recent spike in deadly violence against Israelis. He also called for an end to Israeli “provocations.”
  • Hamas, the militant Palestinian group that runs the Gaza Strip, praised the attack. In Gaza, dozens took to the streets to celebrate, with some offering trays full of candy.

The big problem with the “let them duke it out” position

Some folks are talking about ISIS like it’s strictly a Middle Eastern problem and if we stick our noses in, we’re just being imperialistic busybodies. These folks need to catch a clue. It’s our problem because THEY made it our problem, because THEY hate us, and because they are OVER HERE encouraging one another to kill us.

The reason we didn’t have any terror attacks after 9/11 is that Bush took the fight to them. Obama, the traitorous bastard, has done the opposite. It gives me great comfort thinking about what awaits him at Final Judgment.

Benghazi Update: Pre-Emptive Butt Cover

September 17, 2014: The House Select Committee on Benghazi opened its hearings with Chairman Rep. Trey Gowdy [R-SC] vowing to pursue the facts wherever they lead. This brief bit of testimony by Todd Keil is very, very telling.

Sept 17, 2014: Todd Kiel at House Benghazi Committee Hearing [:53]

After the bombings of embassies in 1998, new regulations were created for high-risk diplomatic posts like the one in Benghazi. Facilities are assigned specific designations which then dictate which level of security is to apply. Responsibility for implementing security regulations belongs to the Undersecretary for Management, a post that is currently held by a career diplomat named Patrick F. Kennedy (no relation to the political clan).

Security practices expert Todd Keil said during his testimony to the House Benghazi Committee last Wednesday that, prior to the assault, Undersecretary Kennedy changed the security designation for the Benghazi facility to “Special Mission Compound.” This designation is unique to the Benghazi consulate. IOW, it’s made up. As such, there are no regulations dictating what security Kennedy was required to maintain there.

2014_09 17 CSPAN What's a Special Mission Compound

I am firmly convinced that the real plan in Benghazi was to set the stage for the 2012 version of the sadly expectable “October Surprise” Democrats seem to plan for every election. I believe that the security at the Benghazi compound was purposely denuded as part of an agreement between Obamacrats and Muslim terrorists to invade the unprotected consulate and kidnap Ambassador Stevens.

I think Obama’s negotiations were then supposed to dominate October headlines and result in the release of high-level Muslim leaders from GITMO and a landslide victory for Barack “I Saved the Ambassador” Obama on Election Day.

What other scenario could possibly explain a high-risk consulate that was BEGGING for MORE security having their existing security REDUCED from 30 to 9 in the last few weeks immediately prior to the assault?  What other scenario could possibly explain why the nearby Americans with guns were told THREE TIMES to sit on their hands while our consulate was under armed assault?!

While Undersecretary Kennedy seems to have been complicit in this putrid scheme, I am inclined to believe that SecState Clinton either blackmailed or threatened him and that he caved only because he was assured that the consulate staff would come to no harm. Why do I think this? Because he is not a party hack. He is a long-time career diplomat who has worked in the Middle East and was very likely acquainted with, if not actually old friends with Ambassador Stevens and other Americans working in Benghazi.

So let’s suppose that Undersecretary Kennedy has decided to do the dirty. He’s still a career diplomat who actually follows the rules. (In 2008, he barred his staff from attending Obama campaign rallies.) And he’s a long-time government employee who knows that, if the poo hits the fan, he’d be the most likely scapegoatThe made up designation is exactly the kind of bread crumb that an expert like Todd Keil would notice.  Maybe Kennedy hoped it would give him some credibility should he need to convince the PTBs that he was not a willing participant.

The hot mess that is Obama’s foreign policy

2014_09 16 3 of 5 swapped GITMO now with ISIS

2014_09 13 Obama spinning the news

The following list of attendants at Obama’s closed-door, off-the-record, pre-ISIS meeting was leaked to Huffington Post: President Obama, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes, White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, plus the dean of the Columbia Journalism School and reporters, columnists and editors from The New York Times (4); The Washington Post (3); The New Yorker (2); The Atlantic (2); The New Republic (1); The Wall Street Journal (1); and The Daily Beast (1).

2014_09 Bush v Obama and media invasion

Rep Mike McCaul (R-TX) says he talked to the Prince of Jordan last week who told him “I’m willing to put my troops into Syria today if your government would ask us to do that.” Apparently, Obama declined, even though he told us that this is precisely what he wanted … Arab nations willing to send THEIR military boots in to fight ISIS.

Sep 13, 2014: Judge Jeanine destroys Obama’s “ISIL is not Islamic” claim [6:30]

Obama pulled our troops out of Iraq despite his own military leaders and the Iraqi leaders saying that was a bad idea. Then he swapped five high value extremist Muslim leaders for one lowly American soldier who very likely deserted his unit. Now he’s dragging his feet, spinning the news and talking out of both sides of his mouth. The boots are not boots. The Islamists are not Islamic. The war is not a war.  Now we learn he is actually turning down the exact kind of help he claims he wants in order to deal with ISIS’ bloody rampage across Iraq and Syria.

The Bible said we should judge people by their fruits. It looks very much to me like Obama’s REAL plan is to HELP the Anti-Christ grow a global, extremist Muslim Caliphate. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he’s been promised one of the ten kingdoms.

2014_09 Obama is above all that
