Brilliant MUST SEE Video About Conservativism!

I’ve got goosebumps. Seriously. Please watch and share!

CONSERVATISM IS CALLING [7:38]

This video was not paid for by anyone. It was made by a citizen with a computer and the courage of his convictions.

If the folks you talk to are still thinking Democrats care more about the poor, show them this video and ask one simple question:

“If the government goes bankrupt, how will the people who depend on government checks survive?”

Conversation with an Obama Supporter

[Saw this at facebook and wanted to share, because “Me” (not Chrissy me) did such an outstanding job of keeping it factual, not personal, and responding with historical data. Obot repeated typical DNC talking points; Me’s response is a model for the rest of us on this.]

Obot: The economy may not be all that great, but Obama stopped the bleeding from the mess that he inherited from Bush. He deserves 4 more years.

Me: Reagan inherited a bigger mess than Obama.

Obot: Obama inherited a depression and Reagan had a depression during his first two years in office.

Me: So you are admitting that Reagan turned around his economy in 2 years; yet Obama has had 4 years. Remember the landslide Reagan victory in 1984? What were those policies that Reagan implemented to cause that economic recovery? Tax Cuts.

Obot: Different times call for different measures. They didn’t work for Bush. Reagan wasn’t fighting 2 wars.

Me: Really? Tax cuts have worked every time they are implemented. During the 60’s with the Kennedy tax cuts; during the 80’s with the Reagan tax cuts and yes, even during the Bush years. Bush inherited a recession and then America got hit with 9/11/01. Our economy was hit with a double whammy. The unemployment under Bush never got as high as the lowest under Obama. In fact, by his own admission tax cuts work; he signed the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts in 2010 and during a Primary debate in 2008.

Charlie Gibson: “When the rate dropped, revenues from the tax increased; the government took in more money; and in the 1980’s when the tax was increased to 28%, the revenues went down. So why raise it at all?
Obama: “I would look at raising the Capital Gains tax for purposes of fairness”

Obama doesn’t look at taxes as a way to raise funds for the government, he looks at it as means of getting even with the rich.

As far as Reagan not fighting two wars; do you not remember the Cold War and how Reagan was instrumental in the fall of The Berlin Wall and the bankrupting of the U.S.S.R.?

[Conversation ended, because Obot dropped out. One hopes s/he was sufficiently gobsmacked by facts to need a time out to ponder, maybe even go look stuff up and LEARN the TRUTH.]

2004 – U.S. Senate Candidate Obama Dismisses Bush Jobs Report [1:45]

In this video clip, U.S. Senate candidate Barack Obama sneers at George Bush’s economic leadership, saying the uptick in economic activity in March 2004 was not that big a deal. In his words,

“Middle class and working class Americans are being squeezed, working longer hours, for less pay, it’s harder for them to find jobs that pay a living wage.”

Hmm. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? But according to the Obama White House, the recently released economic report for August 2012

“provides further evidence that the U.S. economy is continuing to recover from the worst downturn since the Great Depression.”

What a load of PARTISAN POLITICAL HOT AIR!

What we have here is not “the worst downturn since the Great Depression”, but the worst RECOVERY since the Great Depression. (And a Big-Government-Democrat orchestrated that prolonged piece of misery too.) The ACTUAL worst downturn since the Great Depression was brought on by none other than Democrat Jimmy Carter.

Ronald Reagan inherited a MUCH worse economic situation from Jimmy Carter than Barack Obama inherited from George Bush.

But instead of pork-laden, crony-feeding, borrow-and-spend, big government programs, Reagan implemented the same kind of things Romney and Ryan want to implement. Below are 2 data-based, non-partisan comparisons of how well the two approaches actually operated in the real world.

President Obama is running around making loads of promises about how he’s going to FIX things if we just give him Four More Years. Who is he kidding? He made the exact same promises in 2008.

He’s HAD four years.

Check out what his record is on economic leadership.

  • The dark blue line is what Obama said would happen if we passed that ginormous pork-laden stimulus bill in 2009.
  • The light blue line is what Obama said would happen if we did not pass said porkulus legislation.
  • The dark red line is what ACTUALLY HAPPENED after we PASSED that ginormous pork-laden stimulus bill in 2009.

As a predictor of economic trends, Obama clearly gets a big fat F.  Let’s hope he will prove to have been more prescient about the tolerance of the American people.

He’s right [:30]

Allen West vs. Bob Beckel

No matter how you slice it, West makes Beckel look like exactly what he is … a Big Fat Loser.

Bob Beckel has a Bachelor’s degree. While in college, he worked on Bobby Kennedy’s 1968 campaign until Kennedy was murdered.

In the 1977-1980 Carter administration, he was the youngest ever Deputy Assistant Secretary of State. Carter’s State Department is known for helping to bring down our ally, the Shah of Iran, and replace him with the virulently anti-American Ayatollahs.

In 1984, he served as campaign manager for Walter Mondale’s presidential campaign against first-term Reagan (who had trounced Carter). Mondale won 4 electoral votes.

In 2002, he managed Alan Blinken’s 2002 Senate campaign until a prostitute targeted him for extortion, when Blinken fired him.

Beckel is also a recovering alcohol and cocaine addict who now works as co-host and political commentator on CNN and Fox News and also as a graduate school professor of politics at the George Washington University where they apparently have very low standards in their professors. His students have more formal education than he does!

In 2007, Beckel was involved in an altercation in a parking lot over his anti-George W Bush bumper stickers.
