Netanyahu’s speech

2015_03 03 BIBI Finally a leader that loves America

March 3, 2015: Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a historic speech before Congress on Tuesday, touching on the strength of Israel, their fears of a nuclear Iran, and their gratitude for the support of the American people.

I have made a Facebook photo album about the speech with links, cartoons, and commentary. It’s a public album. You should have no problem accessing it even if you do not have a Facebook account.

SO WHAT’S GOING ON TODAY?

There are a number of items to post today, but of course, everybody’s talking about Netanyahu’s speech before Congress. He treated the Kenyan half-breed,Popeye Reid, and the rest of that pack of gargoyles with far more respect than they deserved or they returned. I’ll post some of the pertinent news here then follow in the reply section. There’s no real organization to it,but that never stopped me before.

THIS IS THE ENTIRE SPEECH:

Democrats LASH OUT at Netanyahu, Tell Him to Go Home, Call Him “a Child”
ALL THEIR MONEY WON’T BUY A TEASPOON OF CLASS

Here’s the video of Rep. John Yarmuth from Kentucky losing it:

Minority leader Nancy Pelosi and Black Caucus members left Netanyahu’s speech before it was over.

Netanyahu to US Congress: This is a VERY BAD DEAL – We’d Be Better Off Without It (VIDEO)
Nobel laureate and Holocaust Survivor Elie Wiesel was in attendance today.

From his speech…
Why would anyone make this nuclear deal with Iran?

The foremost sponsor of global terrorism could be weeks away from an entire arsenal of nuclear weapons.

“If Iran wants to be treated like a normal country, let it act like a normal country.”

Iran needs the nuclear deal more than you do.

This is a very bad deal. We’d be better off without it.
The alternative to a bad deal is a much better deal.

Why Obama So Dislikes Netanyahu
There is no question about whether President Obama — along with Secretary of State John Kerry and the editorial pages of many newspapers — has a particular dislike of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. But there is another question: Why? And the answer is due to an important rule of life that too few people are aware of: Those who do not confront evil resent those who do.

Netanyahu Slams White House Deal With Iran: “Even If Israel Has to Stand Alone, Israel Will Stand”

Just as he did in his speech to AIPAC yesterday in Washington D.C., Netanyahu hinted that Israel will take on Iran by itself, if necessary, to prevent the regime’s nuclear program from moving forward, but expressed hope America wouldn’t force the Jewish State to do it alone.

“The days of the Jewish people remaining passive in the face of genocidal enemies, those days are over,” Netanyahu said. “Even if Israel has to stand alone, Israel will stand.”

“I know that Israel does not stand alone, I know that America stands with Israel,” he added.

Keystone and Obama’s priorities

BHO Keystone block

Rep. Tom Reed (R-NY) posted this on his Facebook:

A majority of Americans and a bipartisan majority of Congress agreed that the Keystone pipeline will create jobs and improve our energy security. It is disappointing yet predictable that President Obama has again put his extreme liberal agenda ahead of good policy.

The administration says that Congress rushed their decision passing legislation to approve the pipeline. It has been 2,340 days since the administration began their environmental review. In the meantime Apple has developed and released five new iPhones, Lebron James has gone from Cleveland to win two championships in Miami then returned to Cleveland, and the San Francisco Giants have won the World Series three times.

What we do know is that the Keystone pipeline would create more than 40,000 jobs and contribute to our energy security. After six years it is time to make a decision.

As always, actions speak louder than words, and despite rhetoric from President Obama on bipartisanship and compromise, his actions show that the liberal special interests of environmental extremists are his priority, not creating jobs or protecting our energy security.

The threat of a nuclear Iran

On Jan. 22, The Jerusalem Post reported that Iran has deployed a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) “whose range far exceeds the distance between Iran and Israel, and between Iran and Europe.”

Iran apologists want us to believe this is not a military ICBM for delivering nuclear warheads, but a peaceful Space Launch Vehicle (SLV) for orbiting satellites. However, this is a distinction without a difference.

Iran's ICBMs are for us

The Obama administration is busting a gut over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming speech to the U.S. Congress.

L. Todd Wood at Red Flag says this is because Netanyahu is likely to speak openly about the reality of Islamic terrorism and thus poses a threat to the semi-secrecy of the Obama administration’s agenda to help Iran develop nukes they can stick on top of their ICBMs.

It makes sense. Obama wants American sheeple to continue to swallow his baloney about how Muslim extremist groups are no threat to us and certainly aren’t motivated by Islam, except they do and they are.

Bret Stevens at The Wall Street Journal notes that Democrat support for Israel has been eroding for decades and that relations between our two nations have been in crisis since Obama took office.

To my mind, it all adds up to something I’ve believed since 2008, which is that while Obama is not the Anti-Christ, he was put into the Oval Office to help pave the way for him.

Texas Rep. Louis Gohmert Announces Challenge to Speaker Boehner

G4After what Rep. Gohmert (R-TX) calls “years of broken promises” by Republican leadership in Congress, fiscal conservatives and Tea Party Republicans in the US House of Representatives may finally have a chance to get a more like-minded Speaker of the House. The vote in the US House will happen on Tuesday, and many conservative leaders, like FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe, quoted Sunday by The Hill, are strongly encouraging Republican voters to call their representatives and ask them to vote for an alternative to Boehner, like Gohmert or Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL), who has also announced his candidacy:

Speaker Boehner has kicked fiscal conservatives off committee positions for voting against his wishes, caved on numerous massive spending bills at the eleventh hour, and abused the legislative process to stomp out opposition by holding surprise votes and giving members little time to actually read the bills before they vote.

I’ve been spending time tonight emailing my representative, and I plan to call tomorrow, as well.  If you don’t know who your representative is, please go to the Congressional Website HERE and click on your state.  Please make your wishes known.

“Get over your damn glibness”

What we can expect from now until January 3

From the Fox News Email Update:

“In a perfunctory press conference held to face an almost taunting press corps, Obama tried to invalidate the outcome. The president suggested that there was no clear message from voters beyond, inexplicably, a perceived desire for his agenda to be implemented.

“The president’s refusal to acknowledge the legitimacy of Tuesday’s result bodes ill indeed for the months to come. Republicans had hoped that a loss, especially one as large as this, would chasten the president on the use of executive action and open him up to compromise. The president’s message was that he intends to give little ground, previewing what could be a very raucous close to 2014 as Democrats prepare to hand over power in the Senate.

“Spending bills and other must-pass measures are likely to mingle with rushed appointments, including an expected clash over the appointment of a new attorney general in the Senate. And from the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue, Obama will be preparing to launch his promised temporary amnesty for illegal immigrants. Washington shouldn’t plan on a very merry Christmas this year.

Obama made it clear in his post-election presser that he has zero intention of even listening to Republican ideas, much less working with us to implement them. Come January, we’ll be able to force stuff through even over his vetoes. Until then, we can expect this …

Obama Reid 3 Legged Race

Nov 5, 2014: Obama’s post-election presser featured a bold question from a reporter [1:36]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBodgESRr5U

QUESTION: “You said you were going to end the hyper-partisanship in Washington, but you’ve made it worse. You’ve only met with the Senate Republican leader twice in the past six years. Was that a mistake?”

ANSWER: “We haven’t been able to get what’s discussed in leadership meetings through Congress to deliver a bill.”

Uhhhhhhhh … the question was about the LACK of said leadership meetings, dipshit.

From Fox News Email Update: “Fox News’s Ed Henry pointed out the obvious: ‘I haven’t heard you say a specific thing during this news conference that you would do differently.’  Obama restated his passive stance, saying it would be ‘premature’ to talk about changing personnel or policies.  NPR’s Scott Horsley gave a last try, asking Obama whether he saw ‘some shortcoming on your part’ because Democratic policies fared better than Democratic candidates. Obama replied in the conditional: ‘If the way we are talking about issues isn’t working, then I’m going to try some different things.’”

Here’s the key point: “If the way we are TALKING isn’t working, I’ll trying TALKING differently.” He has said this kind of thing before. “We haven’t been clear enough with our story.” He can’t conceive of the possibility that we understand his story perfectly well; we just don’t like it. It’s a common left-wing mental disorder; they’re right about everything, so if we disagree, it’s because we haven’t yet UNDERSTOOD them properly.

After Obama’s presser, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said, “In word and tone he refused to take responsibility or even express humility. He seemed to suggest the only ideas he’s willing to listen to are his own, old, failed ones. That’s the same my-way-or-the-highway approach that the American people rejected.”

Thank you Comrade Obama

The Democrat Knee Jerk: “If it’s bad, blame Republicans!”

The latest Lame Democrat Meme is to blame Ebola on Republican budget cuts.

Republican Cuts Kill [1:00]

Let’s get a quick reality check about which party has been in charge of federal spending since January 2007, shall we?

2007 to present Dems have had majority

Now let’s get another quick reality check about how the “Republicans cut CDC funding” is a Big Fat Lie.

2013 GOP votes big incr for CDC

If health-related spending is SO IMPORTANT to Democrats, then how come it was House Republicans who introduced a bill to fund the National Institutes of Health during the government shutdown and Senate Democrats who refused to consider it?

On November 4, VOTE HERO

MILITARY blood type on boots

When Bush was in office, we heard about military deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan almost daily. The print media published rows and rows of dead soldier photos; the broadcast media interviewed Gold Star Moms weeping; and Democrats running for office chanted off “Bush’s” death toll.

Oddly, after Bush left office, the media and all those weepy Democrats fell silent, despite the fact that our soldiers have continued to fight and die in the Middle East.

Call me cynical, but I think the Left-biased media and the very Left-wing Obamacrats in power don’t actually give a toot about our troops. It was only when a REPUBLICAN was in the White House and another pro-military REPUBLICAN was running to replace him that they pretended to care.

In short, soldiers fighting and dying in military actions sanctioned by a DEMOCRAT president are of no interest to them. The real truth is that Democrats HATE Republicans and will say and do ANYTHING to get and keep power.

Democrats have a long history of short-changing our troops’ benefits and selling them out on the battlefield. This is why most of our soldiers vote Republican. More than 1,000 American soldiers have lost their lives in Afghanistan JUST in the last 27 months! This is more than the combined total of the nine years before. Have you heard a word? No. Why not? Because Democrats DON’T CARE ABOUT OUR TROOPS.

Right now, the Commander In Chief is AWOL. He is not merely indifferent; he is incompetent. He ordered the White House flag flown at half-staff for Sikhs that were killed, but he has done nothing but lie and cheat and stall on issues that matter the most to our nation’s finest.

Since taking office, he has failed to even ATTEND half of his national security briefings and when he does bother to listen to his experts, he does the opposite of what they recommend. Then, as we saw (again) this week, when things go badly, he blames everybody but himself.

The 9/11 attacks were in the planning for FIVE YEARS.  George Bush had been in office EIGHT MONTHS when they occurred.  If anyone was responsible for emboldening Al-Qaeda, it was the Democrat in office before Bush, Bill Clinton.  Funny thing about his wife being Obama’s Secretary of State for the Benghazi attacks, isn’t it?  Makes you think maybe Democrats are really BAD at this foreign policy, national security stuff.

Bush was in office for more than 7 years after 9/11.  During that time, there were no terrorist attacks on America.  Obama and the Democrats who took control of Congress in 2007 all campaigned on the idea that Bush had gone about this whole Global War on Terrorism thing all wrong.  In fact, he was a new Hitler!  A bloody murderer!  ACK!  Put a Democrat in charge and see a kinder, gentler world evolve before your eyes.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight.  Obama has had 6 years to prove to us that he was capable of keeping us safe from Muslim extremists.  During this time, he has vacationed, golfed, campaigned, bowed to foreign leaders, armed terrorist and generally ignored the plight of our men and women in uniform (except when he wanted them for a photo op).  For crying out loud, he labeled the Fort Hood shooting “workplace violence”, renamed terrorist attacks “man-caused disasters”, and insisted that Muslim extremists aren’t Muslims!

Obama has made the Rules of Engagement (ROE) so difficult, that our troops are often killed before they can even get permission to fight. Nothing has been done to stop our troops from being murdered by the Afghanis they are training, either.

Now … would you believe? … President Obama wants the US to sign on to the UN’s International Criminal Court (ICC), which would allow the UN’s ICC to arrest and try US troops for War Crimes, without the legal protections guaranteed under US Law, and from which there is no appeal!

With the White House AND the Senate in the hands of Obamacrats, pro-military Republicans can do very little to help our troops. The Republican-majority House of Representatives has passed literally HUNDREDS of bills, many with strong bipartisan support. Senate majority leader, Democrat Harry Reid, throws them in the trash. He won’t even allow them to come to the floor of the Senate for DISCUSSION, never mind a vote.

And who gets the blame, again and again, for the “do nothing Congress”? Republicans. But it is the DEMOCRAT LEADERSHIP that is blocking everything Americans want to get done.

Our troops are getting screwed. But with Obama backed up by Reid’s Democratic majority Senate, the military-hating Left has nearly all the power. We MUST take back the Senate in 2014 so our troops can once again be protected from unnecessary danger.

Please consider this plea as signed in the blood of all the soldiers who have died in OBAMA’S WARS. Then send it on to your mailing lists. Thank you and God bless.
