The Donald Does Phoenix
The president went back to what he’s best at yesterday….holding a rally. He hasn’t gotten anything major done legislatively because the republicans are in no hurry to do anything. He’s beset on all sides by enemies sworn to destroy him so he finds comfort in being among the people who actually appreciate him. It’s not unlike when I get disgusted by politics I retreat to a Facebook group dedicated to vintage toys. I can share memories with other mostly baby boomers who remember fondly a happier time.
Here’s the Reader’s Digest version:

Arizona is an open carry state. Some BLM idiots showed up with AR 15s and bulletproof vests. Bikers for Trump… a lot of them… showed up and vowed nobody gets attacked while they’re there. Most of the rioters had the good sense not to try their luck pushing these guys. Most are veterans. None take any sh!t.
I am including a hilarious video of a nitwit who threw a rock at the police and caught a tear gas canister in the gonads. Funniest thing I’ve seen yet today. Of course, the usual media suspects came completely unhinged with Don Lemon winning today’s prize for the most racist, deranged, frothing-at-the-mouth rant.
This is a touching moment. A group of Bikers for Trump members gathered before President Trump’s Phoenix rally to pray for the safety of all those who are attending the event. The biker leading the prayer asked that protesters didn’t turn violent and that attendees return to their families safe and sound after the rally.

They Just Don’t Get It
The media continue to be befuddled by the loyalty of Trump supporters. Were they not safely cloistered in their ivory towers they might get a clue to the passion he instills. The fact is Trump supporters have nowhere else to turn. Consider the alternative: Nancy Pelosi, Schmuck Schumer, cutthroat sellouts like McCain, Collins, and Ryan. After suffering the stomach virus commonly referred to as the Obama presidency, Americans were sick of being mocked, downgraded, humiliated, and having a socialist agenda shoved down our throats that blamed us for all the ills in the world, we finally had our prayers answered. Someone who was not a typical mealy-mouthed politician who will pander to whatever crowd he’s addressing and beholden to corporate mega-donors.
CNN has been at the forefront of the daily assaults on a sitting president in a naked attempt to remove him at any cost. What they don’t understand is that they didn’t make him and they can’t break him. It is amusing that no matter how hard they try, the loyalty to this president from people of all backgrounds is unshakable.

The Object of War
The object of war is to kill people and break things.
Barack Obama was no more qualified to lead fighting men than I would be to be in a Miss America pageant. He hated the troops, as most democrats do. Personal hubris and an overinflated ego would not permit him to listen to the military people who have actually faced live fire. He thought he was the smartest person in any room he walked into. Turning our military into a social justice experiment cost many good people their lives. When soldiers were prosecuted for doing their jobs it makes them hesitate before pulling a trigger. That can get them killed, just the same as the policemen Obama also despised.
Others can confirm more positively than I how grateful our forces were when Trump was elected. He was a business man and not a politician. He was also smart enough to listen to the generals he chose to lead. He wants to win. Afghanistan has become a mess, much like Iraq became after Obama announced he was running away, wasting billions of taxpayer dollars and thousands of lives, and handing the country over to the bloody bastards from ISIS, which he seemed to have much adoration for.
Trump went before the nation yesterday and made it perfectly clear what our goal was.

With every passing day I become more and more repulsed by the way a once-proud nation has degenerated to the point I can hardly read a headline without some level of nausea. I had fully planned to stop posting altogether, except for posting images. The week Chrissy was sick I posted what I thought was some pretty good stuff. For days, there was no evidence that there was anybody around but myself. This site has meant an awful lot to me. I’ve made lasting friends who have been there through times thin and flush. The Day That Humor Died
We lost two people over the weekend who were referred to as comedians. Humor, it seems, is generational. People laughed at vaudeville, Laurel and Hardy, Ernie Kovacs, the Three Stooges, Lenny Bruce, and BETs Def Comedy Jam. Some people think holding up a bloody piece of meat that looks like the president’s head is rip-roaringly funny.
I never saw Dick Gregory’s live act. I did see him on Johnny Carson and a few other guest spots, mostly there to bash white people in the name of civil rights. I never found anything funny about black comics whose entire schtick was bashing white people. With the ingrained antipathy toward caucasians they have a ready-made audience. The same people who idolize rappers, drug use, and murdering police officers.
When Jerry Lewis, the son of vaudevillians, was paired with a handsome Italian crooner named Dean Martin, magic happened. They were perfect together. Martin, the straight man to Lewis, playing a zany lunatic. They made history together. After they split Martin went on to a successful career as a singer and Las Vegas icon. Lewis wrote, directed, acted, and produced one hit movie after another. He had total control because the studios knew anything he touched was box office gold.
Lewis had another burning passion, and that was children. Danny Thomas founded Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and Lewis raised hundreds of millions of dollars to fight the child-killing affliction of muscular dystrophy through his Labor Day Telethons that aired for years. In the early days, it was the only program that was on long after the other stations had signed off for the night.
The most emotional moment of the event for me was the time when, after decades apart, Dean Martin walked onstage and hugged his old friend. I also remember Lewis grousing about how his son, Gary, and his band, the Playboys, who had a hit in the 60’s called “This Diamond Ring,” would practice at his house and make such a racket he made them leave.
Dick Gregory will be remembered as a minor talent. Jerry Lewis will be remembered by those of us who grew up laughing along with a man who was blessed with a multitude of talents and did them all well.

On August 17, 2017, CNN published this list.
- Five years ago, an armed domestic terrorist named Floyd Lee Corkins told police that he had targeted the Family Research Council’s (FRC) Washington office for his murderous assault, because it was on the SPLC list.
- Last June, James Hodgkinson shot and severely wounded Rep. Steve Scalise, R-LA, and others as they practiced baseball. Hodgkinson had “liked” the SPLC on his Facebook page.
But yeah, CNN, you go right on promoting that list as a legitimate source of “hate” groups.

Hate racism? Tear down the statue of Margaret Sanger!
The Progressive Left claims to want an honest discussion about America’s past. Okay, let’s discuss Planned Parenthood’s revered founder, Margaret Sanger, who would have fit right in with the racist and anti-Semitic mob in Charlottesville last weekend.
As Jonathan van Maren explains, “I’ve been writing about the alt-right for over a year now, first detailing their anti-Semitism and later examining their pro-choice position on abortion.” [Excerpts and link below.)
Richard Spencer is the neo-Nazi who actually coined the term “alt-right.” He runs the website AltRight.com where he has affirmed that the alt-right does not believe in human rights and, like Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood), does believe in eugenics and the extermination of non-whites and the disabled.
Mr. Alt-Right Spencer says he was inspired by Lothrop Stoddard, a long-dead Klansman who thought that African Americans posed a threat to “white civilization” and wrote a white supremacist tome called The Rising Tide of Color.
Stoddard was also so beloved by the Nazis for his racial theories that he even met personally with Adolf Hitler. He also worked closely with Margaret Sanger who appointed him to the board of Planned Parenthood’s forerunner, the Nazi-friendly Birth Control League.

- In her book The Pivot of Civilization, Sanger advocated for the elimination of those she considered to be “human weeds,” stating that she was calling “for the cessation of charity, for the segregation of morons, misfits, and maladjusted,” and additionally, the sterilization of “genetically inferior races.”
Planned Parenthood condemns the Alt-Right. Yet Planned Parenthood is the nation’s leading killer of black lives and regularly donates to and bestows awards on America’s Democrats.
