Students vote to give blacks free tuition at Western Kentucky University
The school’s Student Government Association passed a resolution by 19-10 supporting slavery reparations for black students in the form of free tuition and free access to the public Bowling Green campus.
The resolution also recommends that the university create a task force to “assess the feasibility of test-optional admissions and geographically-weighted admissions,” claiming that some standardized testing poses a disadvantage for needy students and perpetuates inequality and “white supremacy,” The Bowling Green Daily News reported.
“We demand reparations for the systemic denial of access to high quality educational opportunities in the form of full and free access for all black people (including undocumented, currently and formerly incarcerated people to Western Kentucky University),” the resolution reads, according to the Daily News.

She, on the other hand, was always imperious, abusive, greedy, and could never be rich enough. When he left office, Nita Lowey, who was slated to be the next senator from New York, was forced to step aside and hand the job to Mme. Pantsuit. Democrats outnumber Republicans in the Empire State by about 3 to 1, so it was a done deal. Came 2008, George W. Bush finished his second term. NOW’S THE TIME TO STRIKE!! Unfortunately, there was a young, charismatic liar from Chicago who had learned to use his partial blackness to full advantage. He outhustled her in the primaries by bringing in outsiders to stuff the early caucuses. By the time she got a foothold it was too late. As a consolation prize he handed her the Secretary of State gig to get her out of his way and give her a chance to take hundreds of millions of dollars worth of bribes from countries convinced she would follow the Kenyan half breed.

Close, But No Cigar
Well, they won another special election… almost. 30-year-old carpetbagging puppet Jon Ossoff garnered 48% of the vote in the Ga.-6th election yesterday. Since he did not overcome the 50% threshold to avoid a runoff election the liberals pissed away almost $9 million. Well, it’s only money. He will now face another contest on June 20, not against 11 republicans, but one — Karen Handel, former secretary of state who ran for senator and governor previously. It is likely the heavily republican district will coalesce around her, making her the heir to HHS Secretary Tom Price.
Jon Ossoff Finishes Below 50%, Georgia’s 6th District Heading to Runoff
In the end, Ossoff ended up pulling in less than 50%, with totals showing him at 48.6% after a huge dump of votes came in from Fulton County around midnight, leading to numerous outlets to project this as heading to a runoff. Republican Karen Handel was second at 19.5% and will be his opponent in a June runoff.
This has been a race that Democrats have been targeting since it opened up, as President Donald Trump won it by less than two points in November. Millions of dollars have been pumped into the Democratic campaign. Meanwhile, Trump has taken to Twitter to weigh in on the race in an effort to energize Republicans.

After that, it’ll be a further five months before the New Jersey and Virginia elections for governor, leaving some strategists and lawmakers wondering how to keep the furious rank-and-file voters engaged in fueling and funding the party’s comeback — especially given the sky-high expectations that surrounded Ossoff’s ultimately unsuccessful run at the 50-percent threshold that was necessary to win the seat outright.

Most of the junk I post has no central theme. Just little nuggets of information I pick up during my exciting days as a housebound retiree.

How many different contributing factors are there for Ryan’s garbage numbers? I can think of at least four.
Contributing factor one: He was, of course, the quarterback for the GOP’s much-hated health-care bill, which was polling at a breezy 17 percent approval right before it went down in flames.
Contributing factor two: Unlike the other three former Speakers listed, Ryan’s a former VP nominee. The bigger a politician’s national profile, the stronger partisan feelings about him are likely to run.
Contributing factor three: Unlike Newt, Ryan is dealing with a divided party, one whose populist-nationalist wing regards him as little better than a Democrat
Contributing factor four: Cliche though it may be, we live in an age of high political polarization. A Republican as prominent as Ryan would have been a hate object for the left no matter what, but toss in his Romney pedigree and his Medicare-cutting ambitions and he’s doomed to pitiful numbers among Democrats.

Supreme Court won’t hear case challenging government’s expedited removal of undocumented immigrants
Lawyers for the families sought to challenge their expedited removal proceedings in federal court arguing they face gender-based violence at home, but a Philadelphia-based federal appeals court held that they have no right to judicial review of such claims.
The court’s action means the government can continue to deny asylum seekers placed in expedited removal a chance to have their cases heard by federal court. Justice Neil Gorsuch, who has his first full week on the court starting Monday, did not participate in the decision.

Another Tuesday….another special election…..another pathetic display by a political party so desperate for any kind of positive news they’ll pour $10 million into a House race for a seat the republicans have held for 40 years. Tom Price was appointed HHS director by President Trump and this was his seat. After the democrats congratulated themselves by “only” losing a special election last week in Kansas by 8 points they really, really hope to win this one. It’s an open election where if no one candidate wins 51% of the vote the top two have a runoff. 80-90% of the cash poured in to this election is from outside sources. Around the webs:

The candidate later admitted he had misrepresented his record, only working as a full-time aide for about half that time while holding a security clearance for his final five months of the job.

Since leaving the farm lo,these many years ago I’ve lived in a lot of places.Apartments,duplexes,townhouses and,mostly,houses.I’ve been lucky enough in most instances to have older people and singles for neighbors.There are,however,unfortunate souls who have lived in close proximity to,let’s say,very friendly/passionate people.I found an article with some of the notes people leave on the doors of some of these folks who seem to be perpetually in heat.Just for a smile on a Saturday before Easter.

Mrs. Greenspan Gets Her Comeuppance
Look up the class picture for Media Hack High School, Class of 1954, there is the lovely Mrs. Alan Greenspan, née Andrea Mitchell. Rude, partisan, pushy, obnoxious, and a political idolator. And those are her GOOD points. Apparently being a media shill for the democrat party doesn’t pay that well, because she had to marry former Fed chairman, Alan Greenspan, a walking corpse who is so old he owes Jesus three bucks, for some financial security. Having to spoon feed him his oatmeal and change his Depends is the price she pays. She works hard for the money. Her reputation as a media whore is well-earned.
As is her wont, she tried to intrude in the meeting Secretary Tillerson had with Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov and shout questions at the Secretary. The Russians don’t tolerate that, since the only news organization is state-run. Lavrov found her as annoying as the rest of us do and scolded her as a child.

Lavrov quickly interjected and said: ‘Who was bringing you up? Who was giving you your manners, you know?’
Incident comes after Mitchell was escorted out of a press conference on March 7 between Tillerson and the foreign minister for Ukraine for how she behaved
Mitchell later said she was not scolded and that it was instead her colleague Carol Morello of the Washington Post
This is also not her first incident with Tillerson (above left on Wednesday next to Lavrov), as a little over a month ago the veteran journalist was kicked out of a State Department press conference for repeatedly shouting questions at Tillerson.

NBC’s Andrea Mitchell was not allowed to ask questions during a photo-op with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin before a meeting on the seventh floor of the State Department. She asked several questions anyway and was asked to leave the room.
She asked Tillerson about threats from China and Russia’s relationship with Ukraine and was met with silence.
To Klimkin she asked: “Are you sure that the Trump administration will be strong against Vladimir Putin? Can you assure us that Russia will not be able to move forward in Ukraine?”

Andrea Mitchell Hilariously Claims She’s Not a Clinton Hack; ‘That Isn’t My Reputation!’
In another gooey interview released on Monday, MSNBC host and NBC News correspondent Andrea Mitchell hilariously told Politico Magazine columnist and friend Susan Glasser that she was not a Hillary Clinton hack or a liberal journalist because “that isn’t my reputation” and claimed the Clinton campaign press “harass[ed] her…all summer long about the private server.”
The 49-minute fawning podcast was a pure spectacle and conversations no different than what you’d find inside the Democratic National Committee. Espousing a holier than thou aurora and painting a doomsday, totalitarian view of Trump, Glasser swooned over how “Mitchell seems to love it” in taking on Trump.

Republican Wins Kansas Special Election
But it’s a WIN for the Democrats!
LIBERALS LIVE IN A FANTASY LAND WHERE EVEN IF YOU LOSE, YOU CLAIM YOU WIN!
Kansas Treasurer Ron Estes won the special election in the 4th district against Democratic civil rights attorney James Thompson. Estes won with 52% of the vote.
Democrats tried to spin the win into a positive because the margin of victory was small. Naturally, many members of the political media joined them.
The New York Times was not much better:
While Mr. Thompson fell short, his unexpected strength represents a warning shot toward Republicans. And it will galvanize Democrats’ candidate-recruitment efforts for next year’s campaign.

But then the House Republican campaign arm released a venomous ad accusing Mr. Thompson of favoring abortion rights for gender selection. Soon after, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas scheduled a rally for Mr. Estes on Monday. And Mr. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence recorded automated get-out-the-vote calls.
Thompson could not even take the high road:
“Mr. Estes did not beat us,” Mr. Thompson told supporters after the race was called. “It took a president of the United States, the vice president, the speaker of the House, a senator coming into our state and a bunch of lies to drum up a vote.”
His campaign and the DNC also tried to make this look like a win for the left:
“I think the momentum we’ve seen here on the ground, and outpouring of support from Democrats across the country into races like this, is a good signs for Democrats nationally regardless of what happens tonight,” Thompson campaign manager Colin Curtis said before the election.
