Did I miss something? Did we win anything last November? You wouldn’t know it by the mugging republicans took at the hands of their pals the democrats during the budget fiasco that was just passed. Democrats get their way nearly all the time no matter who has the majority. They have discovered, much to their delight, that there is virtually nothing the GOP is willing to fight for. They have been terrified of the specter of a government shutdown since the former president, Ben T. Penis, got Newt Gingrich to back down over a staged government shutdown that was pre-arranged to lay the blame on republicans. They know that the press will blame them 100%, all of the time.
The republican elite have proven time and again they care less about working with President Trump than about keeping their status among the DC party crowd. It leaves conservatives all across the country asking themselves: “What have we won?”

HOUSE LEADERSHIP LAUNCHED A COUP AGAINST AMERICAN VOTERS THIS WEEK
Paul Ryan and House Republicans included strict language in their trillion dollar budget that prevents any and all funding of President Trump’s border wall.

Paul Ryan’s new budget bill will fund:
** Planned Parenthood
** Central American illegal immigrant centers
** Domestic spending will increase
** No cuts in funding to EPA despite Trump’s promises
** Continue payment on Obamacare subsidies

But the House budget includes language that FORBIDS the President of the United States of building a border wall with Mexico.

Frustrated conservatives ready to start winning under Trump

There is a last ditch effort to pass a new health care bill coming. It stands not a snowball’s chance in hell of passing. The entire fiasco was orchestrated by Paul Ryan to ensure enough poison pills in it for conservatives to vote against it. The democrats know Obamacare will never go away. No government program ever does. They just suck up more and more money. As professional spenders, the liberals know once you give people something free (or at least free to THEM), it can never be taken away without a rebellion. It would not be a bit surprising if Trump decided since his own party won’t deal with him he may go to the democrats to negotiate. After all, they’re still the real power in Washington.

“Comedian” Hasan Minaj Big Flop at White House Correspondents Dinner

When one thinks of insult comics, the late funnyman Don Rickles immediately comes to mind.
[Rickles’] humor is so rude, in such bad taste, that it offends no one—it is too offensive to be offensive.
Contrast Minaj’s material to that of Rickles, who only on occasion would make a slighting remark about a fellow entertainer or politician in absentia. Minaj apparently stuck to shopworn jabs prepared long before the President and his staff announced they would not attend this year’s dinner. “
Unlike Rickles, Minaj is no “Mr. Warmth.” At least based on audience reaction, his dragging, staccato-like delivery left many barbs hanging in midair, leaving listeners wondering when they would drop. This became most evident when the comedian evoked none other than Rickles himself, who died just over three weeks ago:

Trump’s First 100 Days

First things first.

It was cold, windy, the sky was threatening all day yesterday.  Fishing is largely a matter of timing. Tuesday, the crappie bite was hot. Thursday, nobody on the lake caught anything. We found some small fish, my friend got one nice crappie and I got a bluegill about 10″, which is big for this species. It was a female and she was pre-spawn, so she was full of eggs. My friend took one picture of me with it and I released her. We call it CPR: catch, photo and release. This lake gets a lot of pressure and when too many mature fish are taken, the population declines. People like me want to keep the sport healthy for our grandchildren. We are conservationists, not terrorists.

Now for the boring crap.

Much has been made of the first quarter GDP being .07%. The media, of course is blaming it all on Trump. This, of course, is bogus. For 8 agonizing years, the GDP under the Magic Negro didn’t top 3%, the worst record of economic growth in our history, including The Great Depression.

It’s cold, gray, and rainy outside. The last two days have been close to perfect. All I can look forward to is my friend and I having a guide taking us out on Lake Delavan, Wisconsin on Friday where I’m looking forward to my first case of boat-butt with a side order of cap hair. The guide said he caught 40 crappies in two hours Tuesday. Hopefully we can replicate that.

Donald Trump Will Order Interior Review on National Monuments Designated by Clinton and Obama

Judge Blocks President Trump’s Move To Cut Off Funding To “Sanctuary Cities”

A federal judge in San Francisco has blocked a Trump administration order to withhold funding from communities that limit cooperation with U.S. immigration authorities.

U.S. District Judge William Orrick issued the temporary ruling Tuesday in a lawsuit over the executive order targeting so-called sanctuary cities. The decision will stay in place while the lawsuit moves through court.

3 arrested after mob attacks officers at California college event

As the officers got out of the car, two officers were attacked by several people and beaten on the ground

Three men were arrested following an attack on Davis police officers who encountered a group of people blocking traffic on a busy roadway during Saturday’s Picnic Day at UC Davis.
The annual campus open house has become known in recent years for violence and drunken mayhem, mainly on the streets of the normally quiet college town.
A hostile group quickly surrounded the vehicle. Several people began yelling threats at the officers in the car, and one person pretended he was pulling a gun on the officers, the news release said.
As the officers got out of the car and began to identify themselves as police, two officers were attacked by several people and beaten on the ground. Police reported that the officers were kicked and punched in the head, and one officer was struck on the side of the head with a bottle.
As they were being assaulted, the officers could see people in the crowd taking video of the attack on their cell phones, according to the news release.

And the next election cycle he was summarily booted out of office along with all of the others. All the democrats who voted for O-care got something in return. Which led me to the conclusion there are no moderate democrats. They just have different price tags.
