In an interview with Chris Wallace and “Fox News Sunday” over the weekend, President-elect Donald Trump indicated that he does not like to receive intelligence briefings every day, because the information can become repetitive.
Naturally, the media and liberal opponents are apoplectic. But where were they during all of the past 8 years when President Obama was routinely skipping more than half of his daily intelligence briefings?
Personally, I think Trump should probably sit through them regardless. But I’m just a Military Mom, so what do I know?

I don’t know much about him, but what I’ve seen so far leads to mixed emotions. As the CEO of the largest corporation in the world, Exxon Mobil, he’s dealt with all the oil-producing countries and has a relationship with Russian strongman Vlad Putin. His confirmation is sure to be a pier 6 brawl, although Trump will get what he wants in the end.

5. TIllerson has contributed to several Republican campaigns.
According to the Federal Election Commission records, Tillerson has given $442,284 as direct contributions since 2003, $72,200 as “joint fundraising contributions” and $5000 to a Super PAC. While he has contributed to George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, Mitch McConnell and Jeb Bush, he is not known to have given any money to Trump’s campaign.

Barack Obama has ordered a “full review” of cyber-chicanery associated with the 2016 elections, under the belief that Russia may have tampered with our sacred voting process by somehow having created a 30 year history of corruption by Hillary Clinton and everyone she’s ever been in contact with.
Hope n’ Change actually thinks it pretty unlikely that Russia* had anything to do with the release of damning information about Hillary and her cohorts in crime. After all, if they had hacked all this dirt (not to mention every Top Secret hosted on her email server) wouldn’t they want Hillary to win so that they’d own an American President because of all the blackmail potential?
That’s why we think it far more likely that the source of the hacked material was an individual patriot from the Democratic party or a domestic intelligence agency who saw this as the only way to save America from a corrupt, shrieking, money-grubbing, two-faced, brain-damaged harpy with a gift for screwing up every policy issue she’s ever touched.

This time it’s their turn to piss and moan (my mom’s nicknames for me and my sister, BTW) about every move The Donald makes, from his brand of deodorant to how much it costs NYC for security. John Kennedy (no,not THAT one) won the runoff for David Vitter’s seat in Louisiana, so the GOP picks up the final Senate seat. Which is a good thing, since McStain and Grahamnesty are already conspiring with the ‘rats to cause as much trouble as possible for the new commander-in-chief.

It’s been a tough decade for the political left. Eight years ago a Time magazine cover portrayed Barack Obama as Franklin Roosevelt, complete with cigarette and holder and a cover line proclaiming “The New New Deal.” A Newsweek cover announced “We Are All Socialists Now.”
Leftist politicians supposed that ordinary voters with modest incomes facing hard times would believe that regulation and redistribution would help them. Evidently most don’t.

The Pastor Is In
Pastor Gregory P. Fryer of New York City’s Immanuel Lutheran Church said the idea just came to him one day.
“I thought about it for years,” the 65-year-old told WNYW-TV, “but I’m getting older and I thought, ‘I better do it if I’m gonna do it.’”
So a desk and chair hit the corner of East 88th and Lexington outside the church, along with a couple of yellow signs: “Spiritual Help 5¢” and “The Pastor Is In.”

In another post today, Pete put up a graphic saying something like, “If you’re in America, you’re already in the 1%.” I really liked the idea and went googling for supporting data.
What I found was a July 2015 issue of Fortune that paints a dismal picture of how the Obama Economy has negatively impacted America’s greatness.
- People living below the poverty line: 36th out of 162 countries.
- Child poverty levels: 34th out of 35 countries surveyed.
- Health: 33rd out of 145 countries home to at least one million people.
- Median wealth (U.S. $39,000 per adult): 27th in the world.
- Stability: 20th out of 178 countries.
- Corruption: 17th out of 175 countries.
- Social progress index: 16th out of 133 countries.
- Education and skills: 16th out of 23 countries.
- Internet speed and access: 16th out of 34 countries.
- Life satisfaction: #12 in the world.
There is one metric where we are NUMERO UNO, but it’s not one to be particularly proud of. We are first out of 224 countries in the size of our prison population. With more than 2.2 million in our jail, only China, with 1.66 million, comes close.
Distress Flag
Fortune concludes, “America is declining, in large and important measures, yet policymakers aren’t paying attention. … [Our] per capita wealth, health and education measures are mediocre for a highly industrialized nation. Well-being metrics, perceptions of corruption, quality and cost of basic services, are sliding, too. Healthcare and education spending are funding bloated administrations even while human outcomes sink.”
I don’t think this decline is accidental. Communists have been saying for nearly 100 years that a PROSPEROUS America couldn’t be taken over. Job #1 for the Leftie Progressive Cuba Wannabes has always been to trash our economy. Let’s hope Trump’s election turns these metrics around and puts us back on top again.
