ABOUT FACE: For a year, the Left slandered anyone who dared to suggest that COVID-19 might have originated inside the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Fauci said it couldn’t have happened, because of evolution or something. The WHO assured the world that it was ‘extremely unlikely’ that COVID-19 entered the human population through a laboratory accident. As recently as Monday, Jen Psaki was telling us that a U.S. led investigation on COVID-19 origin was not necessary.

Then suddenly, like a well-trained marching band, the entire Left suddenly and simultaneously changed its tune. Fauci said, “I’m not confident that the virus did not escape a lab.” And on Wednesday, FAUXTUS ordered the intelligence community to conduct that “not necessary” investigation into the origin of COVID-19. BACK THE BLUE: Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott is committed to signing a bill that will make it more difficult for cities to defund police and plans to defund cities that do so anyway.

BIG PHARMA: In the 1950s, a new drug called “Thalidomide” was introduced. It came with the guarantee that it could be “given with complete safety to pregnant women and nursing mothers without any adverse effect on mother and child.” This was a lie.

While raking in profits, the pharmaceutical company responsible covered up reports that their drug, which was marketed as a safe sedative and remedy for morning sickness, caused thousands of miscarriages and fetal deformities.

World-wide, an estimated 90,000 victims died before birth and another 10,000 were born with severe physical deformities because their mothers had taken thalidomide drugs. I went to school with one of the victims.

We should all keep this in mind whenever the increasingly wealthy makers of COVID-19 vaccines assure us that their products are both safe and effective.

Another thing to keep in mind is that, while the government is busy, busy, busy pimping the vaccines, only about half of the employees of the FDA, CDC, and NIH have accepted the shots.

COVID-19: A new study suggests that even a mild case of coronavirus could leave people with lifelong protection against the virus.

FAKEBOOK: In February, Facebook announced it was censoring anyone claiming that COVID-19 was man-made or manufactured. On Wednesday, Facebook said they were removing this topic from their pooh-pooh list.

Tweeters responded: “Bow down to your big tech overlords and shower them with praise and gratitude for the crumbs of free speech they so graciously allow.”

“Crazy thought. Since Facebook was wrong on so many things like Covid and Hunter’s laptop, maybe they should stop trying to create the truth.”

GOLF HISTORY: On May 10, Amy Bockerstette, 22, made history when she and her team entered the 3-day National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) women’s golf national championship.

Amy is the first person with Down syndrome to enter a national collegiate athletic championship. She finished 108th out of 113 golfers. Prior to this, Amy was the first Arizona student with Down syndrome to play in the state high school golf playoffs. CANADA: The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, a medical licensing body wielding the power of the state, has taken an aggressive move to silence dissent.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY: The city of Chicago has dismissed both “disorderly conduct and mob action” citations against two pastors who held a morning and an evening service on May 17, 2020. The pastors were charged for having more than 10 people in their large sanctuaries for worship.

RUTGERS: On Friday, hundreds of Rutgers University students and their parents held a rally to protest the school’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for students.

The mandate doesn’t apply to students enrolled in fully remote online programs; it also allows exemptions from vaccination on medical or religious grounds. It also doesn’t apply to faculty and staff.

ALABAMA: Republican Gov. Kay Ivey signed a bill Monday banning businesses and public institutions from requiring so-called COVID-19 vaccine passports for entrance.

BORDER: Two months ago, FAUXTUS appointed VFAUTUS his point person on the migrant surge at the southern border. At that time, VFAUTUS said she had no immediate plans to actually visit the border, but that “at some point, absolutely, we will go down to the border.”

On Monday, PressSec Psaki was asked when FAUXTUS’ border point person might actually visit the border “to see what’s going on.”

FLORIDA: On Monday, Gov. DeSantis signed the Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act into law. The new law ensures that Floridians have the right to sue Big Tech platforms for monetary damages.

GOOD GUY WITH GUN: Last Saturday, a woman arrived at an abortion clinic in San Antonio and got out of her vehicle to enter the building. A man climbed out of the woman’s car trunk and began firing a gun at her. A pro-lifer — who had a licensed, concealed handgun — fired at the suspect, stopping him from continuing his shooting spree.

Police said, “He absolutely saved this young lady’s life. He did something a reasonable person would do and he saw someone engaged in a shooting and he stepped in and intervened and stopped that shooting from occurring.”

The suspect was able to flee the scene. Officers have not yet located him and it is unknown if the suspect was injured in the shooting. They were able to recover his weapon and an article of clothing they believe belongs to him. Police believe the shooting was an incident of domestic violence and the woman was taken to police headquarters for questioning.

IDAHO: On Monday, Republican Governor Brad Little signed the “No Public Funds For Abortion Act” (H.B. 220) into law. It blocks taxpayer dollars from funding abortions and bans Idaho public schools from contracting with abortion businesses to teach sex education.

MASKS: Libtards are reportedly having trouble accepting the CDC’s loosening of its mask mandate. Some say they need to wear masks lest anyone assume they are Republicans.

Neither of those options will be offered in September.

A 72-year-old good Samaritan stopped to help a Black teen with a flat tire. The teen and his gf beat the man nearly to death.

RELIGIOUS FREEDOM: [4:30] – The Alliance Defending Freedom has filed a lawsuit on behalf of young Lydia Booth, who was told she was not allowed to wear a mask at her public school that read “Jesus loves me.” Masks that said “Black Lives Matter” were allowed.

TEXAS: UT Southwestern Medical Center hosts the “first and largest program in the southwest that provides multidisciplinary care to transgender children and adolescents.” While the program does not offer surgery to children, it does offer chemical castration in the form of hormone therapies that suppress puberty.

Campaign finance records show that a PAC supporting the center handed out well over $250,000 to a number of top Texas politicians who were recently involved in shutting down multiple pieces of legislation that would have prevented trans therapies for minors.

TWITTER: Jack Dorsey and his Arbiters of Truthiness banned President Trump permanently for posting too many tweets that violated their delicate Leftist sensibilities. These tweets by the Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, celebrate the bombing of Israel and pray for its total destruction. They were posted yesterday and are still up today.

GRAMMY NOTES: For Bunny’s fall birthday, I have been sewing and sending clothes for the 18” girl doll she got last Christmas. (I send one at a time, cuz it’s so fun to get mail!) She’s such a funny kid. When the nightgown arrived, she wouldn’t put it on the doll until it was bed time. The second item was a raincoat. She wouldn’t put that on because it wasn’t raining! LOL

CUOMO: CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, who has both recovered from COVID-19 and gotten vaccinated was spotted driving his car, alone, with the top down, in the sun … wearing a mask. [:34]

Recently, Chris admitted that “it was a mistake” to give his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo advice about his sexual harassment problems while covering the story for the network. He said, “I can be objective about anything. But not my family.”

Well duh. This is why he and any other jerknalist who is worth anything recuse themselves from stories about which they cannot be objective. Chris didn’t. But there’s nothing unusual about Chris being a fraud.

He faked his COVID-19 quarantine, got his friends and family tested for the virus when tests were still so scarce that nursing homes couldn’t get any, and never asked his brother any serious questions during his many interviews.

JAN. 6: [1:59] – Recently, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, “Obviously, the president’s view is that there were a number of officers who lost their lives, paid a tremendous sacrifice, on a day that will be a stain on our democracy for many years to come, and certainly, many who survived.”

Only one officer, Brian Sicknick, died the day after. The coroner ruled he had a stroke. One and only one person was killed during or as a result of the riot. Her name was Ashli Babbitt. She was an unarmed protester and Air Force veteran.

Babbitt had traveled to D.C. from California because of her fervent belief that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Trump. Video shows her trying to climb through a broken window into the Speaker’s Lobby outside the House Chamber when a Capitol Police officer guarding the entrance fired.

An investigation by the Justice Department found insufficient evidence to bring any charges against the officer who fired the only shot during the riot and who has never been named publicly. The family is filing a wrongful death suit against the Capitol Police Department.

PORTLAND: [2:30] – Local taxpayers are getting soaked.

TARGET: Within the last few days, an employee of Target informed her manager that she would not comply with his directive to wear the mask, that there was no scientific basis for the rule, and that he had no legal authority to force it.

The employee added that she was in contact with the legal team at America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) specifically an attorney named Tom Rentz, and had retained his services.

The Target manager directed the woman in question to go home and advised she was being terminated. Within 24 hours she was contacted at home and called back into work. The mask requirement was dropped.

TEEN VOGUE: Teen Vogue is working hard for Satan, publishing tips for minors on how to safely engage in anal sex, get the most out of masturbation, and collect and use menstrual blood in spells to ward off evil. There’s also a chirpy, positive guide to Marxism.

VAX: The mRNA COVID-19 vaccines appear to be causing myocarditis (heart inflammation) in some of those who get the shots. The reports of myocarditis have been mostly in adolescents and young adults, more often in males.

Despite coverage by the Los Angeles Times, the show, which was plagued with audio and technical problems, received just over 3,200 views as of Wednesday.

In addition to doing a crappy job, Baby Daddy was (shock, not) grossly over-paid. The owners of two video production companies told the Daily Caller News Foundation that they could have done a much better job for less than $50,000.

COME, LORD JESUS: On Wednesday, a federal judge ruled that a Christian college in Missouri must allow students of the opposite biological sex to share dorm rooms, bathrooms, and shower spaces. The college faces six-figure fines if it violates the Biden administration’s order.

College of the Ozarks holds to the Christian belief that biological sex is not changeable, and it operates its dorms accordingly. The College’s sincerely held religious beliefs influence their policies, including dormitory policies, which prohibit male students from living in female residence halls, and vice versa. The school plans to appeal the ruling.

LGBTQers are tickled rainbow that “this administration has made it clear that discrimination has no place in the federal government.” Unless you’re a Republican, Christian or Jew and then it’s “discriminate away.”

FRANCE: France’s ministry of education has prohibited the use of gender-neutral language, asserting that it harms the process of learning the French language. This is understandable, considering the French don’t just gender biological entities that have actual gender, but also windows, tables, floors, doors, and on and on and on.

Attempts to de-gender has resulted in an absurd thing called a “midpoint” which just so happens to look exactly like a period. Like that’s not confusing at all.

For example, the word for a male friend is ami and for a female friend amie. A group of female friends would be amies, but if a male is included, it would be amis. Degendering the latter requires two midpoints to create ami.e.s.

And we thought “birthing persons” was bad!

HELL: [Babylon Bee Satire] – Progressive Christians have come out in praise of the kingdom of Satan for how inclusive it is.

Left-leaning believers have often criticized their conservative brothers and sisters’ churches for excluding certain lifestyles. After years of searching, they’ve finally found a place that’s as inclusive as they are: hell.

“It’s just so great how inclusive hell is,” Jen Hatmaker wrote on her Facebook page over the weekend.

“While the Kingdom of God uses all kinds of exclusionary language, hell is entirely inclusive, welcoming people from all walks of life with open arms, as long as they haven’t trusted in Christ as their savior.“

They later clarified they don’t actually believe in hell but just meant they were in favor of its inclusivity as a spiritual metaphor.

HAMAS: Hamas and its supporters display gruesome pictures of dead and wounded children in order to gain sympathy for their portrait of Israel as the villain intent on killing Palestinians.

Guess who Hamas uses to build their tunnels? Kids. In 2012, it was reported that 160 children had been killed doing Hamas’ dirty work.

Black Lives Matter tweeted solidarity with Hamas, supposedly because their dispute with Israel is about “colonialism.”

BDS agreed, citing its profound commitment to fight “racism, white supremacy and for a just world.”

Meanwhile, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews shipped mobile bomb shelters and protective vests to Ashkelon to help protect civilians and security citizens from Hamas terrorist missiles.

HYPOCRISY: A new study of diversity in the technology industry found companies that virtue signaled their solidarity with Blacks had 20% fewer Black employees on average than those that didn’t.

ISRAEL: According to Israeli Defense Forces Lt. Colonel Jonathan Conricus, over 1,100 rockets were launched by Hamas into Israel over the last few days. Israeli counteroffensives targeted Hamas and the Islamic Jihad military complexes in Gaza.

So-called Squad members have tweeted out their support for Hamas aggression and their contempt for Israel’s response. Some samples:

One of the stated goals of such “queer and trans pedagogies” is “to actively destabilize the normative function of schooling through transformative education.”

The episode, which PBS says is intended for kids aged 3-8, first aired March 31. WNET says it has received “only a small handful of messages” complaining about the show. I’m guessing there are two reasons for that. One, conservative parents turned off PBS ages ago. And two, if they hadn’t before, they have now.

PELOSI: The Queen of Hypocrisy strikes again. On Tuesday, Speaker Pelosi fined three Republicans $500 each for violating her mask mandate.

On Thursday, Pelosi said the fines were justified, because mask-less people are “selfishly a dangerment [sic] to other people, including staff people here.”

BETTER INFORMED: Rasmussen asked media viewers a series of current event questions and correlated their right/wrong responses with where they said they get their news. Not surprisingly, the results show that CNN and MSNBC were more than twice as likely to get the answers wrong as were those who watch Fox News.

CATHOLIC: On Saturday, the founder of the Society of the Divine Savior was beatified. Blessed Johan Baptist Jordan is also known by his religious name of Francis Mary of the Cross.

The miracle that allowed the declaration happened to the unborn child of a Brazilian couple. When their daughter was diagnosed with a severe form of skeletal dysplasia during the 23rd week of pregnancy, the couple asked for Francis Mary of the Cross’ intercession for a healthy child.

The girl, now six years old, was born with no abnormalities. She attended the beatification Mass with her family in Rome.

ALIEN INTRUSTION: Unmasking the Deception – “60 Minutes” recently reported on military sightings of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP). I’m guessing they don’t call them UFOs, because that term evokes aliens from outer space whereas about 95% of such sightings have natural explanations.

However, about 5% defy explanation. The military has been studying these sightings for more than 50 years and they do NOT believe they are aliens from other planets. Rather, the undeniable evidence suggests they are beings from another dimension.

I believe they are demonic in origin and that we are being set up to accept demons, appearing in the guise of Roswell-type “aliens” and posing as enlightened beings from another planet as the “three evil spirits that looked like frogs” mentioned in Revelation 16:13.

If you are at all interested in this subject, I highly recommend the DVD and book shown in the graphic. They present all the evidence of UAPs that cannot be explained away, as well as testimony by victims of “closer encounters”, including visitations and kidnappings. The most compelling argument they present for the demon theory is that the sacred Name of Jesus drives them away.

After the Fall

Bob asked me to share some of my projects from back in the years when miniatures were my main craft hobby.

Here is one small project I made to tease my fearless and easily distracted daughter who spent more time in the ER than both her sisters put together.

The 1” scale* doll head was sculpted by Marcia Backstrom. I’m not sure who built the body, dressed and wigged it. I bought her because I thought her face and crookedness worked well with my idea. All I did was pose the doll and add the accessories. The base has a glass dome for dust-free display.

*1” scale means 1” on the miniature = 1′ in real life. It’s the most popular scale for dollhouse miniatures.
