CALIFORNIA: San Francisco – In an effort to get the public schools open, the City of San Francisco has SUED the San Francisco School District!

The San Francisco School Board appears to be way too busy imposing wokeness on its closed schools to worry about actually teaching anyone inside them. Recently, it decided to rename 44 schools because they deemed their namesakes had ties to racism or slavery. Among them is Abraham Lincoln High School.

Now they’ve declared that “acronyms are a symptom of white supremacy culture.” And to prove how thoroughly they all understand things like facts and logic, they took what ABC called the “bold move” to get rid of the acronym “VAPA,” which is short for Visual And Performing Arts. From now on, they will be called the “SFUSD Arts Department.”

SFUSD? Because acronyms are racist. Or something.

CATHOLIC: Catholics from around the world are asking the Jesuit Order to publicly censure one of its mouthiest and most blatantly heretical priests, Fr. James Martin, for promoting a bastardized pro-LGBT version of one of the world’s most revered images of Our Lady – the Black Madonna.

Częstochowa is regarded as the most popular shrine in Poland, with many Polish Catholics making a pilgrimage there every year. A pilgrimage has left Warsaw every August 6 since 1711 for the nine-day, 140-mile trek. Elderly pilgrims recall stealing through the dark countryside at great personal risk during the German Nazi occupation. Pope John Paul II secretly visited as a student pilgrim during World War II. The feast day of Our Lady of Częstochowa is celebrated on August 26.

The rainbow was originally a religious symbol of God’s covenant with man that God used to convey to Noah (Genesis 9:13-17) that he would never again destroy the world by a flood. There are seven colors in a naturally-occurring rainbow. The number seven in the Bible often symbolizes completion, perfection, and the fulfillment of promises and oaths.

LGBT activists co-opted the rainbow in the late 1970s, creating a flag where the different colors are often interpreted as signifying sexual “diversity.” The LGBT rainbow flag, however, has only six colors, one short of a real rainbow and the perfect number. In the Bible, six is often associated with sin, imperfection, and even Satan. The book of Revelation says that the bringing together of three sixes is the number of the Anti-Christ.

The Catholic Church teaches that homosexuality is one of the four sins that cry to heaven for justice. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that “basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that ‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.’ They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved” (CCC 2357).

The Catholic Church furthermore teaches that the homosexual inclination is also “objectively disordered” since God created sexual attraction for the purpose of drawing a man and a woman together to become husband and wife in marriage.

CHINA: The ChiCom’s top diplomat gave President Xiden his marching orders, telling him to stop interfering in the affairs of Hong Kong, Taiwan, and it’s militarization of the South China Sea. He didn’t mention undoing the Trump administration’s sanctions over human rights violations against religious minorities, but I’m sure FAUXTUS got the message.

CNN: Gee, what a surprise … practitioners of Left Stream Jerknalism is finding or dismissing Biden’s errors, lies, and omissions. Brian Stelter crows, “What a difference!” Yeah, really. But it’s not a difference in the performances of former President Trump and current FAUXTUS Xiden. CLICK https://rumble.com/vdi3oz-cnn-celebrates-fact-check-of-joe-biden-omits-numerous-errors.html [4:08] to hear One America News’ count of not just errors and omissions, but also just plain nonsense.

CUOMO: Oops, even the New York Slime is fed up with Governor Nipple Rings! Check out this tweet thread (which they helpfully illustrated with graphs to support their statements) …

Gov. Andrew Cuomo of New York said on Friday that New York City could reopen indoor dining on Feb. 14. But by nearly every measure, the coronavirus outbreak in the city is worse than it was when he announced a ban on indoor dining in December.

As the governor spoke on Friday, citing the ‘current trajectory’ of cases as his reasoning for reopening, average per-capita case counts in New York City were 64% higher than when he announced the ban in December.

Average Covid-19 hospitalizations in the city, while trending downward, were still 60% higher late last week than they were when Mr. Cuomo closed the restaurants.

A member of the governor’s Covid-19 task force said the important metrics are not where the numbers are but where they are headed — and that trends are all headed downward, both across the state and in the city.

Mr. Cuomo suggested test positivity rates for New York City had fallen by 30%, showing a chart depicting a drop, but using data points chosen from daily swings.

The numbers he used were the highest and lowest daily numbers in January to that point, extremes that did not reflect the overall trend. The daily data, shown with a seven-day average to account for daily fluctuations, shows only a 17% drop, not 30%.”

Tweeters commented: “Almost nothing Cuomo has done throughout this pandemic has been based on data or science.”

Seeing Cuomo get dunked by the NYTimes is rather enjoyable.”

When they said trust the science, pretty sure they meant political science.”

Yeah, it’s almost like they don’t know what the hell they’re doing. It’s that damned DeSantis!”

But, but, but what about his Emmy and that amazing book?

FACEBOOK: Last year, somebody put together an oversight board for Facebook and Instagram. According to the website’s FAQ page, “The Oversight Board is a global body of experts that will review Facebook’s most difficult and significant decisions related to content on Facebook and Instagram. It will make binding decisions on that content, which means Facebook must implement them unless doing so could violate the law. The board will also be able to issue policy recommendations.

The board’s independent judgement is critical to its function. Both the board and its administration are funded by an independent trust and supported by an independent company that is separate from Facebook. The board’s structure, responsibilities, purpose and relationship to Facebook are outlined in the Oversight Board Charter. The board acts as a service provider to Facebook. Members of the board do not include current or former employees or contingent workers of the Facebook company.

I’ve never heard of it before. It sounds good in theory, though its website is really odd, being mostly blank white pages. However, it apparently has done one notable thing, which is to order Facebook to remove Facebook’s censoring positive information regarding the use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as a treatment for COVID-19.

MASKS: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has invoked a power granted to it by the 1944 Public Health Services Act to make it mandatory for travelers and personnel to wear masks that cover both mouth and nose while waiting for, using, and disembarking from any mode of public transportation. The rule includes all forms of public transportation as well as all locations where people gather to board and includes persons who have been vaccinated.

Exemptions only apply to brief periods for eating, drinking, or taking medication, to children younger than two, and to people who are unable to remove a mask without assistance. Supposedly, persons with disabilities that make masks unsafe or impossible are exempt, but so far, the CDC has no issued any guidelines for them to be actually exempt. Operators are instructed to remove anyone who refuses to comply and the CDC reserves the right to impose criminal penalties to violators.

This is all for a disease that is no more deadly than the seasonal flu and that has multiple effective treatments, as well as multiple vaccine options. But yeah, tell us some more how it’s all about “public health.”

MIRACULOUS: On January 20, a gas leak caused an explosion that destroyed four floors of the building next door to the Virgen de la Paloma church in Madrid, Spain. The building provided housing for the parish priests, the parish school, and the Los Nogales nursing home. One young priest died in the explosion.

Although the chapel adjacent to the priest’s residence was demolished, rescuers found the consecrated host and the monstrance intact. Those covers are usually made of glass. It looks to me like it wasn’t even cracked!

SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW CENTER: CLICK https://www.prageru.com/video/the-anti-hate-group-that-is-a-hate-group/ [4:50] to see Prager University’s video about SPLC – Since 1990, this organization has been publishing an annual list of hate groups, something the Left Stream uses to punish groups so designated. E.g., Amazon doesn’t allow any of these groups to receive funds through its Smile program. More seriously, the list has inspired hate crimes against groups on the list.

And once again, the far left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has proven itself to be more of a hate group than a great many of the groups it chose for its latest list, which was released February 1. As far as SPLC is concerned, if a group holds biblically-based views on marriage, human sexuality, and sanctity of life, it goes on their list … regardless of what actions the group takes to promote those beliefs.

For example, the Ruth Institute has garnered the group bad publicity and unfair bias in the press and elsewhere because SPLC included it. But its founder and president, Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, says, “The Ruth Institute is a global, non-profit organization leading an international, interfaith coalition to defend the family and build a civilization of love. If fighting sex abuse, pornography, and divorce makes us a hate group, so be it.”

TEXAS: The private, Catholic University of Dallas is standing strong against a trans activist alumnus who demanded a professor be fired for espousing the Catholic Church’s position on gender identity.

Among other things, the professor stated that the whole Biden administration poses a genuine threat to religious liberty, because it “will try to use the powers of the federal government to FORCE others, by their words and their deeds, including medical expertise and know-how–to participate in these falsehoods, these hormonal and surgical harms–these wrongs.”

In response, UD president Thomas Hibbs, and provost Jonathan Sanford, released a joint letter, upholding religious and academic freedom: “The university is following its existing policies and protocols in this matter, and will not yield to internal or external demands to divert from them. We are not in the business of limiting the speech of our faculty and staff when they speak on personal social media sites. …

If anyone is wondering whether we uphold Catholic teaching, we do. Our Catholic identity and fidelity to its teachings is at the core of our mission.”

XL PIPELINE: Congressman Kelly Armstrong (R-ND) along with House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) and 83 Republicans introduced the Keystone XL Pipeline Construction and Jobs Preservation Act.

This legislation authorizes the construction and operation of the Keystone XL Pipeline and declares that a Presidential permit is not required.

AOC Confabulates … Again

CLICK https://www.facebook.com/officialbenshapiro/videos/441738950594244 [4:16] if you haven’t had your fill of Democrat donkey doo. I couldn’t get through it, but I understand that, in it, the Juvenile Drama Queen recounts her allegedly terrifying experience (cue tears) on January 6th when horrible, violent people sent by Ted Cruz made her fear for her life!

Reality check … AOC was in her office during the riot. Her office is in the Cannon Building which folks who know the area say is a six minute walk away from the Capitol Building. See map. The closest she got to the violence was when a cop stopped by her office to do a welfare check.

She was predictably pissed when her latest Big Fat Lie was ridiculed. She tweeted in high dudgeon, “This is the latest manipulative take on the right. They are manipulating the fact that most people don’t know the layout the Capitol complex. We were all on the Capitol complex – the attack wasn’t just on the dome. The bombs Trump supporters planted surrounded our offices too.

People who have or do work on the Hill responded that the reason folks are sneering is that they DO know the layout of the Capitol complex.

But let’s just parse that last line that I bolded.

First, there were two small pipe bombs found on January 6. One was near the RNC headquarters, while the other was at the DNC headquarters. Again, see the map. That doesn’t qualify as “surrounding” the Cannon Building where “our offices” are.

Second, they were found around noon and rendered safe. I couldn’t find any report about how potentially deadly the devices may have been, but I also found no evidence that anyone was evacuated from the areas where they were found.

Third, the earliest news report I could find of their discovery was after 10 pm on January 6.

Fourth, investigators have now determined that a single man, whose identity is as yet unknown, planted the two bombs the night before the riot. There is a large reward being offered for his identity.

IOW, the two bombs were rendered safe and removed long before AOC had any reason to know they ever existed and there is zero evidence they were planted by a Trump supporter.

Tweeted by Jesse Kelly: “Michael Brown was a gentle giant with his hands up like David Hogg survived a school shooting like Christine Blasey Ford got assaulted by Kavanaugh like AOC almost died at the Capitol. Sensing a pattern? They lie. Stop believing anything these people say.”

Also Jussie Smollett.

ABORTION: [3:04] – Video from the first Red Rose Rescue since FAUXTUS took office. One Catholic priest, Father Fidelis Moscinski, CFR, was arrested along with Lauren Handy and Jonathan Darnell for entering the facility, offering roses to the mothers inside, and refusing to leave.

When sidewalk protesters told a man leaving the abortion facility, “It’s not too late,” he replied “That f***ing fetus is gone, that s*** is gone. They put it in the trashcan.”

BRILLIANT: [1:51] – Crossing on a red light can be deadly. In Paris, more than 4,500 people were hit by cars in a single year, so they cooked up this spectacular campaign.

CATHOLIC: Bishop Robert McElroy of San Diego bemoaned the fact that some bishops are arguing that abortion is not merely a preeminent issue in Catholic Social Teaching, but rather constitutes the de facto litmus test for determining whether a Catholic public official is a faithful Catholic. So far as McElroy is concerned, such a position reduces “the common good” to “a single issue.” Can you imagine if he said that about slavery?

EATING THEIR OWN: More evidence that no one is safe from the Left’s ire – Ingrid Seyer-Ochi spewed her outrage in an Op Ed for the San Francisco Chronicle about the “oozing white privilege” displayed by Bernie Sanders at the inauguration ceremony. Sanders says he was just trying to stay warm.

Mary Chastain took her down a peg or two at Legal Insurrection: “Lady, are you new here? Have you ever watched Sanders? Have you ever seen Sanders? … The man has no fashion sense. I don’t think he owns a brush. Sanders is a hypocrite. He screams for socialism, but owns three houses and is a millionaire.

Chastain suggested Seyer-Ochi needed to do a reality check on herself. “Your privilege is showing, my dear. You obviously know you are more intelligent than everyone else so you had to woman-splain it to everyone. You obviously get to tell people how to dress and appear at any event.

Seyer-Ochi is a former UC Berkeley and Mills College professor, an ex-Oakland Unified School District principal, and a current San Francisco Unified School District high school teacher. IOW, she’s the perfect Leftist – a loser with no sense of humor who is so self-righteous and judgmental that she can’t even bring herself to make nice to people who are firmly on her side of the aisle.

HONDURAS: The Honduran National Congress strengthened pro-life laws last week by amending the national constitution to declare that unborn babies have the same rights as born human beings under the law.

JOSH HAWLEY: CLICK https://rumble.com/vdgbr1-hawley-democrat-ethics-complaint-is-attempt-to-stamp-out-all-dissent.html [3:22] to hear Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) talk with OAN about the “totally abusive attempt” by Democrats to cancel him and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). He has filed a counter complaint which may reveal a connection between Democrat senators and so-called dark money groups. “You can’t bow down to the mob.”

JOURNALISTS: Reporters in the White House press poll are not happy about the fact that the White House is pre-screening their questions.

NEW YORK: Nine of the state’s top health officials have resigned in recent months. One of them says morale at the Health department “certainly was and continues to be at an all-time low” due to Democrat Governor Cuomo’s bizarre response to the pandemic.

Besides being publicly disrespected – “When I say ‘experts’ in air quotes, it sounds like I’m saying I don’t really trust the experts because I don’t.” – they have been frustrated by only learning about Cuomo’s capricious changes to virus regulations via his news conferences.

Most recently, Cuomo ignored the plan top officials drew up for dispensing COVID-19 vaccines. Their plan used county health departments with long experience in dispensing childhood vaccinations. Cuomo didn’t like that idea, which allowed each city to order doses directly from the federal government and work out the logistics locally.

Instead, he chose to micromanage vaccinations through the state and even signed an executive order imposing up to a $1 million fine and loss of all state licenses for health care workers who knowingly gave the COVID-19 vaccine to ineligible people.

When news got out that the inefficient system he concocted was resulting in unused, spoiled vaccine going in the trash, he threatened to fine hospitals if they didn’t distribute their vaccines fast enough. As of January 6, only 31% of the vaccine sent to New York had made its way into someone’s arm.

But hey, Andrew wrote a whole book about how his masterful management of the pandemic “saved lives.” So keep moving … nothing to see here.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD: On January 28, McGill tweeted, “Today, we celebrate these initial steps on the path towards reclaiming full ownership over our bodies, our health, and our futures. We’re grateful @POTUS & @VP have begun to right the wrongs of the last four years — but this is only the beginning.”

POOP EMOJI: Amazon’s plans for its new Virginia headquarters feature a 350-foot structure dubbed the Helix with two spiraling outdoor walkways with trees and plants from Virginia that twist to the building’s top.

Art critics suggested it looks like the poop emoji, a villain’s lair, soft serve ice cream, and the Tower of Babel. Dr. Siva Vaidhyanathan tweeted, “It looks like it’s been abandoned by some failed civilization and aggressive, invasive vegetation has taken over.

RATINGS: Trump-Deranged cable news networks have seen their ratings drop dramatically now that they don’t have The Donald to kick around any more.

CNN saw the greatest decline in viewership since Biden took office, seeing rating drop by 44%. MSNBC also saw ratings plunge sharply, though not to the degree that CNN fell. Meanwhile, Fox News saw a slight ratings decrease but has mostly been able to hold steady during the early days of the Biden Administration:

TOXIC FEMININITY: Building off the scriptural foundations of the anti-Christ, Carrie Gress makes an in-depth investigation into the idea of an anti-Mary—as a spirit, not an individual—that has plagued the West since the ’60s. Misleading generations of women, this anti-Marian spirit has led to the toxic femininity that has destroyed the lives of countless men, women, and children.

After Amazon, Facebook, and Instagram banned the selling of the book on their sites, interest in it sky-rocketed. Amazon has relented and is currently sold out of hard cover, but it’s available on Kindle. Facebook and Instagram (owned by the same people) gave no explanation for why they are still banning the book.

TWITTER: Last Thursday, the always juvenile and often hyperbolic AOC tweeted this vicious and unfounded accusation at the junior senator from Texas.

On Thursday, Texas Republican Rep. Chip Roy quickly wrote to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi demanding she forced AOC to apologize for making this “scurrilous charge” against Senator Cruz just because he engaged in constitutionally-protected speech and debate regarding electors.

On Monday, another, similar letter went to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi signed by 13 House Republicans.

Twitter censored 668 tweets from former President Donald Trump, claiming his tweets were inaccurate and that some posed a “risk of violence.” Then, they banned him completely from their platform. But as of 12:36 pm on February 2, 2021, AOC’s vile accusation was still posted on her unmolested Twitter account.

SAINT OF THE DAY: On the feast of Saint Blaise (February 3), many Catholic parishes offer Blessing of the Throats. Two candles are blessed, held slightly open, and pressed against the throat as the blessing is said.

Little is known about the man apart from the fact that he was the Bishop of Sebaste in Armenia where he was imprisoned, tortured and finally martyred by Licinius ca. 316 AD for refusing to renounce Jesus.

Tradition has it that, while in prison, he miraculously cured a small boy who was choking to death on a fish bone. His intercession has been invoked for diseases of the throat since the sixth century.

GRAMMY NOTES: We got buried. Twice. The photo is from yesterday. Today, the bird bath is buried. Thank God for our wonderful neighbor who had helped dig us out with his ginormous snow blower! Terry, you are the best!

CANCEL CULTURE: Professor Charles Negy has been fired by the University of Central Florida for posting these tweets …

If Afr. Americans as a group, had the same behavioral profile as Asian Americans (on average, performing the best academically, having the highest income, committing the lowest crime, etc.), would we still be proclaiming ‘systematic racism’ exists?

Black privilege is real: Besides affirm. action, special scholarships and other set asides, being shielded from legitimate criticism is a privilege. But as a group, they’re missing out on much needed feedback.

As Voltaire is alleged to have said (but maybe/probably didn’t), “To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.”

CELEBRATING: On Sept. 23, 1988, Ernest and Anneke Robison were blessed with a son they named Matthew. Though afflicted with severe disability, Matthew had a bubbly and joyous personality that his parents wanted to celebrate after he passed away eleven years later. This is the headstone they designed.

CHICOM: Spiritual believers in China – be they Christian, Buddhist, Uyghur Muslim, or Falun Gong – are faced not only with brutal suppression or forced-labor terms, but also have their religious books burned or trashed at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

The coercive policies aimed at forcing religious followers to renounce their faith and follow the Marxist atheism are coming to a neighborhood near you.

GAG ME: MOTUS has a special report on Ella Elmhoff, the newest model signed by IMG, one of the most prestigious agencies in the nation. Ivan Bart, the president of IMG Models, says Ella communicates authenticity, cheekiness, and joy.

I’m just guessing here, but authenticity apparently means she never shares her armpits. As for cheekiness and joy, they seem to have both been redefined in some Alice in Wonderland way, because in all of the photos I saw, she has the same sullen expression on her face as in the photo above. She smiles nicely in earlier photos, but she also has some flesh on her bones, so maybe her sour face is the result of starvation.

Since the fashion world paid zero positive attention to our lovely Melania, who was a genuine success in the tough world of fashion modeling, let me just give a giant GAG ME over the idea expressed by this unremarkable senior at the Parson’s School of Design…

In the past … you didn’t really think that certain people [in past administrations] were going to be throwing outfits out there. You didn’t expect much. Amongst Dr. Biden and Kamala and Meena [Harris] and me, though, I guess there is kind of some anticipation about what we’re going to put out there in terms of fashion. Maybe that’s because we’re all women, or maybe it’s because we’ve had big outfits in the past, but I think people are definitely going to be paying more attention.”

The full article is more of the same. I don’t recommend it unless you haven’t done your daily flogging or your hair shirt is in the wash.

GREED: Bresch, who retired in 2019, was the first female CEO of a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company.

In 2016, she claimed the extortionate increase in the cost of EpiPens was justified, because the company had made them “more ergonomic and less likely to cause injury.

Hell is gonna burn hot for these people.

JEN PSAKI: FAUXTUS’ Press Secretary says she’ll “circle back” often enough that it’s become a meme. And she is not amused. CLICK https://twitter.com/DailyCaller/status/1356296099242397701 [:41].

MESSAGING: FAUXTUS adviser Anita Dunn says Democrats can reach bipartisan goals without working with GOP lawmakers in the House and Senate.

MINIMUM WAGE: Large corporations are now on the side of Democrats in favor of doubling the federal minimum wage to $15, because they can afford it while their small business competitors can’t.

The whole concept of a federally mandated minimum wage is fundamentally flawed. If I am willing to pay you $8 an hour to do a job and you are willing to do that job for that wage, then what business does the government have saying, “That wage is not high enough, so you two cannot enter into this arrangement”? Shouldn’t it be “my body, my choice”?

NOBEL PEACE PRIZE: Former President Donald Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize by an Estonian member of the European Parliament, Jaak Madison.

In a post on social media, Madison said: “In the last 30 years, Donald Trump is the first president of the United States, who during his tenure, has not started a war. Additionally, he signed several peace agreements in the Middle East which have helped provide stability in the region and peace.

PROUD BOYS: According to a court transcript obtained by Reuters, Enrique Tarrio was arrested for fraud in 2012 and turned informant in exchange for a reduced sentence. According to the prosecutor, his lawyer, the FBI, and the judge in the case, Tarrio provided substantial assistance in getting 13 other individuals prosecuted on federal charges in 2014.

This week, Tarrio denies he ever worked as an informant. He acknowledged that his 2012 fraud sentence was reduced, from 30 months to 16 months, but insisted it was because he and his co-defendants helped investigators “clear up” questions about his own case. At this time, there is no evidence that Tarrio has cooperated with law enforcement in any way since 2014.

In 2018, Tarrio became the national chairman of the Proud Boys group, which was founded in 2016 to protest political correctness and perceived constraints on masculinity. It grew into a group with distinctive colors of yellow and black that embraced street fighting in response to BLM and Antifa riots.

Tarrio and another Proud Boys organizer, Jason Biggs, are alleged to have urged fellow members to attend the January 6 “Stop the Steal” rally in Washington, D.C. Prosecutors allege that Biggs sent multiple emails to members telling them to forego their black and yellow colors so as to blend in with the crowd. Biggs has been charged with three federal counts, including unlawful entry and disorderly conduct.

TOLERANCE: Republican lobbyist and Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) organizer Matt Schlapp said his wife and young daughters, ages 9 and 10, were “accosted by one of our neighbors, a few doors away. When either side turns their politics into intimidation it is wrong. In this case it may well be a crime. Disagree w me all you want but leave my girls alone. I mean it.”

Unlike the Left, Schlapp refused to dox the individual saying only that, if he apologizes in person, “it would be accepted. No one should tell a 9 year old to [expetive] off. No one. Especially over politics. If Democrats of stature act like this, I really don’t want to hear about unity not one second more.

SOUTH DAKOTA: Republican Gov. Kristi Noem credits her state’s softer approach to the pandemic with the fact that hers is the only state in the Union to see lower unemployment in December 2020 than in December 2019.

South Dakota’s economy took a hit when COVID came, just like every state, but we’ve come roaring back stronger than ever,” she said

USCCB: Although Joe Biden claims to be a devout Catholic, he has a long and well documented history of supporting abortion on demand, gay marriage, gay adoption, IVF (in which human embryos are destroyed or frozen), and other practices that are contrary to the teachings of the Catholic teaching.

On Jan. 28, FAUXTUS signed an executive order rescinding the Mexico City Policy and the Promoting Life in Global Health policy, both of which prevented federal funds from going to groups that promote and provide abortions overseas.

Bishops with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) issued a statement condemning this action, saying it furthers the “destruction of human lives in developing nations.”

Back when the most pro-life president ever was running for a second term against this long-time apostate, the American Catholic bishops (and Pope Francis and my pastor) were either mostly silent or else sneering at Trump. Now that it’s too late, they’re suddenly speaking out?

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them.” Matthew 7:15-16

VALUES: FAUXTUS’ Secretary of State Antony Blinken has announced he will order U.S. embassies around the world to fly the “gay pride” flag alongside of our national flag.

Given that Jews, Christians, and Muslims all condemn homosexuality as a perversion of God’s natural order, isn’t it a gross violation of the separation of church and state to elevate the homosexual banner to the same level as our national colors?

ZOMBIES: So … would “zombies” be a medical term or a grown-up word? And, when the Mayo Clinic discusses how “determining your baby’s gestational age” is an important part of a pregnant woman’s first pre-natal check-up, are they affirming or denying the humanity of unborn zombies?

FYI: In voodoo belief and popular folklore, a zombie is a corpse that has been reanimated, especially by means of a supernatural power or spell. So, not a living, pre-born human being. But yeah, DOCTOR Gunter, you keep right on lecturing us on what you’re an “expert” on.

GRAMMY NOTES: The Buzzers had snow followed by freezing rain. It made for some interesting photo opportunities for Mama.

They know they are frauds

Twitchy highlighted the epic thread below, written by Canadian professor, Gad Saad, about how Leftists like to pretend they care about the little people when, in reality, they know it’s all a bunch of BS.

Let me explain yet again the source for all of the platitudinous virtue signalling. The truly privileged elites know that deep down they are frauds. They suffer from existential guilt.

Hence, one of the ways by which they assuage the guilt albatross around their necks is to demonstrate to the world that they are truly compassionate, truly loving, truly caring, truly profound. Hence, they love all ‘undocumented’ immigrants. They love Mother Earth. They love the ozone layer. They love BLM. They love socialism. They love inner cities. They hate the gentrification of neighbourhoods. They love mentors of color. They cherish diversity. They love LGBTQ movies. They adore queer architecture.

They are better than you. More caring, more cultured, more empathetic. This permits them to sleep better at night. See, I’m not a fraud. I may be a gargantuan parasitic hedge fund bullshitter but I really care. I may be an overpaid BS actor but I fight for solar panels. Those fly over rubes deserve their lot in life. They are racists who bed their siblings. We are science supporters who fight against Mother Earth rapists whilst flying in our private jets.

It is a classic ego defensive strategy that permits the ruling class to exist within their fractured selves. Save this thread. Memorize it. I’m offering you a deep psychological explanation of our times.

Capitol Riot

Evidence is coming out giving the Big Giant Lie to the Democrats’ second impeachment of Donald Trump.

On January 6, at 12:45 pm, law enforcement agencies received a report of a suspected pipe bomb at the Republican National Committee headquarters. At 1:15 pm, agencies received a report of a similar device at the Democratic National Committee headquarters.

Then-President Trump’s speech began around noon. In it, he allegedly incited the riot that began about two hours later by saying, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

Two members of the Proud Boys – a gang-like group of “proud Western chauvinists” – have been arrested and charged with removing metal crowd-control barricades and breaking a window in the Capitol on January 6th.

The Proud Boys was founded in the lead-up to the Trump 2016 presidential victory. They are known for their violent clashes with Black Lives Matter and Antifa protesters.

On January 6, BLM activist John Sullivan (aka, JadenX) filmed CNN photojournalist Jade Sacker inside the Capitol. She says, “You were right. We did it!” He responds, “I was trying to tell you. I couldn’t say much.” She says again, “You were right.” That sounds a whole lot like this was pre-planned [:30]

Once upon a time, John Sullivan was an aspiring Olympic speed skater. In more recent years, he’s been a left-wing agitator. He founded Insurgence USA, a protest group for “racial justice and police reform,” began referring to himself as “Activist John”, and filled his Twitter feed with anti-President Trump rhetoric, his support for Black Lives Matter, and his participation in recent protests.

Sullivan faces riot and criminal mischief charges for his actions during a Black Lives Matter protest he helped organize in Provo, Utah, last June. These included encouraging protesters to block roadways, threatening to beat a woman in an SUV and then kicking her door, leaving a dent. He was also seen throughout the protest in company with Jesse Taggart — the man charged with shooting a motorist. He was heard talking about seeing the shooting, but did not attempt to stop it, nor did he condemn the action or aid police in investigating it.

On January 6, John Sullivan embedded himself with Trump-supporting patriots, pretending to be a MAGA supporter. Then he helped storm the Capitol Building. He was arrested and faces multiple charges for entering the Capitol Building through a broken window and encouraging rioting. He can be heard on his own videotape encouraging violence: “Let’s go. This shit is ours! F*ck yeah … We accomplished this shit. We did this together. F*ck yeah! We are all a part of this history … Let’s burn this shit down.” Although he claimed to only be there as a journalist to videotape the event, he was wearing a ballistic vest and gas mask and had no press credentials.

Although Sullivan was released on bail, the judge barred him from posting on social media, attending protests, and firearms. He also was fitted with a location monitor and instructed to remain at his residence. This week, he was accused of violating those conditions.

Though the violations were not specified, it is known that Sullivan altered the Insurgence USA site description away from its former Black Lives Matter-friendly goals to something more compatible with his legal defense.

Insurgence USA’s mission is to provide you the truth. We are on the frontlines, giving you unedited raw footage, photos, and news of the insurrection here in America.

“Revealing the truth about Antifa and BLM’s communist plans to overthrow democracy.

“Exposing the sinister motives of Proud Boys and Right-Wing militias as they plot to topple the government.

“Welcome to the revolution.”

The original leftist rioters’ agenda of Insurgence USA is clearly revealed in the site’s on-line store, which sells all the Black Bloc gear favored by BLM and Antifa rioters, plus tees and buttons featuring the Black Power fist and red MAGA-style hats that actually say, “Made Ya Look Black Lives Matter.” The store also sells pink rubber pigs, but I’m clueless as to why. Do they throw them at cops?

He also set up and promoted a crowd-funding effort at PayPal to finance his legal defense fund. “John Sullivan Aka Jayden X was arrested as a Journalist during the Storming Of The Capitol help defend his 1st Amendment Rights.

He has received two payments of one cent each toward his $100,000 goal. They were accompanied by very critical messages suggesting he belongs in prison. One mentioned soap.

The photo above is from the almost entirely PEACEFUL “Stop the Steal” march.

The Wikipedia article says, “Many of the crowd at the Capitol, some of whom had gathered earlier, breached police perimeters and stormed the building.”

Many? Of THAT crowd? How is the Capitol Building still standing?!

In the sidebar of the Wikipedia article it says, “400+ involved” and “174 arrested.”

Oooookay. Well, call me crazy, but I’m thinking that if the total crowd had been … say 1,200 to 1,500? … then 400 could have been honestly described as “many of the crowd.” But that crowd looks to me like it was in the hundreds of thousands … making 400 more like “a tiny minority” than a “many.”

There are other reports of allegedly right-wing Trump supporters having been arrested for participating in and possibly pre-planning the riot. At this point, these reports are confusing. But I’ll keep you posted.

H/t to Frankly the Nut who gave me a lot of help researching this! Thank you!!

FOLLOW THE MONEY, HONEY: When President Obama announced he was killing the Keystone XL pipeline, he said it was because the pipeline from Canada “would not serve the national interests of the United States.” Biden just did the same thing, claiming it was about protecting the environment.

The pipeline is the safest, least expensive means of getting the stuff where we need it, so one suspects the real reason for blocking its construction is that Warren Buffett (major Democrat donor) owns the railroad it travels on now … and would not travel on if the pipeline were completed.

JACKBOOTS: In the flurry of FAUXTUS’ executive orders was one called “Modernizing Regulatory Review” that was almost entirely overlooked but could easily end up having the biggest impact. It isn’t about modernizing regulations. It’s about unleashing the regulatory state with a ferocity never before seen in this country.

In the past, regulations where the cost of compliance far exceeded the benefits could be stymied by the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. This order changes the review process into “a tool to affirmatively promote regulations” and “to ensure swift and effective federal action” on absolutely everything.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS: I am so touched by this!

SPEECH POLICE: One of the numerous executive orders FAUXTUS signed in his first week is one that bans the use of “China virus” to describe COVID-19 by federal employees. According to the order, designating the virus by its point of origin is “inflammatory and xenophobic.”

TOLERANCE: I dunno who posted the text exchange in the graphic, but the screed below was posted on Facebook by a Rome, NY, elementary school teacher.

Just want to remind the white privileged Trump supporters, who are eerily silent as of late, that you’re scum and yourself a plague upon the world. I hope the universe blesses you with infertility and the inability to piss without it hurting. Y’all extinct. Go the f*** away. Be shameful. We will never forget. Oh, and if you’re family or you consider yourself a close friend and voted for him, go f*** yourself. I will gladly take a bereavement day at the spa when you expire.

ABORTION: On Thursday, our “devout Catholic” FAUXTUS signed two executive orders “to undo the damage Trump has done.” That “damage” was to prevent taxpayer funds going to support the International Planned Parenthood abortion business and sending taxpayer funds to promote its global abortion agenda.

He also removed the United States from a historic international pro-life declaration that pushes back against the United Nations’ pro-abortion agenda.

CANCEL CULTURE: When somebody outed Colleen Oefelein as having joined Parler and Gab, The Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency fired her.

DEATH PANELS: The Left mocked Sarah Palin for suggesting that nationalizing health care would bring on death panels. But they’re already real for patients caught in Great Britain’s National Healthcare System … where “healthcare” is somewhat sketchily defined to include killing patients who are deemed too expensive.

A Polish Catholic patient fell into a coma after suffering a heart attack that resulted in massive brain damage. After doctors determined he had only a small chance of progressing to even a minimally conscious state and might live five years or more, they removed all care, including tubes delivering food and water.

It took him two weeks to die, an event that has been official listed as due to “1a bronchopneumonia; 1b hypoxia (oxygen deprivation) of the brain; 1c myocardial infarction (heart attack).” The hospital has congratulated itself for acting “with compassion and professionalism throughout.

It is my understanding that Catholic moral teaching says it is licit to remove “extraordinary” means of artifically prolonging life, but that nutrition and hydration are not considered “extraordinary.”

EXECUTIVE ORDERS: In his first three days, FAUXTUS issued 30 executive orders, presidential memorandums, and agency directives—all without the consent of Congress. That’s more than double the number President “Practically Hitler” Trump issued in his first week.

JOHN KERRY: FAUXTUS’ new climate czar – U.S. Special Envoy for Climate John Kerry – is totes committed to combating the use of fossil fuels by the stinking’ masses. Him though … he owns a private jet.

At the end of the day, it’s the same old, same old with liberals. You can’t get a haircut or go to a restaurant because of COVID-19, but they can. You shouldn’t be allowed to have a gun, but they have a half dozen armed men guarding them. You shouldn’t fly on a plane because of the greenhouse gasses, but they have a mansion and a private jet. If liberals knew they’d have to live by the same rules they propose for everyone else, you’d see their attitudes change in a hurry.” – John Hawkins

K-VON: Biden’s First Week [8:51] – Funny! DEFINITELY watch this!

MICHIGAN: On January 8, Michigan’s Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer refused to open indoor dining because she wanted to “make sure that it’s safe to do so.” But then two days after Biden took office, she announced indoor dining would resume.

NEW YORK: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/whitehousebrief/videos/891323264973576 [4:38] if you have any interest in hearing Gov. Nipple Rings whining about how unfair it is that he’s being criticized over nursing home deaths. And after he went and wrote a whole book about how awesomely awesome his coronavirus leadership was/is/will be forever and ever amen.

I listened to a few moments only. Can’t stand the man!!! Just two thoughts from what I did hear. One, if most of the people who died were people who were going to die anyway, then why are we keeping the country shut down? And two, isn’t his claim about having a lower percentage of deaths in nursing homes a lie? I read that Florida did.

PFIZER VAX: A second death is being investigated after a 60-year-old healthcare worker had to be hospitalized within hours of receiving his second shot. His health rapidly deteriorated over the next few days, then he died.

POLAND: Poland has outlawed eugenic abortions. Prior to this, Poland’s laws permitted the abortion of unborn babies with “serious disabilities” and “incurable diseases” including Down Syndrome.

Article 38 of the Polish Constitution states that “the Republic of Poland provides every human being with legal protection of life,” and Article 30 reads, “The inherent and inalienable dignity of man is the source of human and civil freedom and rights. It is inviolable and its respect and protection is the responsibility of public authorities.”

SUSAN RICE: Remember right after the Benghazi attack, when this woman went on five Sunday news shows in a single day to fraudulently blame the attack on a YouTube video that virtually nobody ever saw? Remember how she was at the heart of the illegal surveillance on the Trump team?

FAUXTUS’ puppet masters have brought this consummate Democrat loyalist and liar back into the White House to ensure that every federal agency put “racial justice and equity” at the top of their priority lists … because it’s supposedly “essential” to “economic growth.”

Remember how, before COVID hit, the unemployment rate for minorities across the board were at historic lows? Did you know that Susan Rice, a woman of color, has a net worth of $50 million?

TECHNOMIRACLE: Joao Carlos Martins was Brazil’s most acclaimed pianist for decades, but then an accident and later a generative disease forced him to quit. But Thanks to a pair of 3D printed gloves, the famous musician is now able to play again!

The gloves cost less than $100 to make and use rods that spring the pianist’s fingers back to a “ready” position after depressing each piano key. There is a 1 minute video at The Epoch Times link of Martins playing part of “Adagio” from Bach’s Keyboard Concerto in D minor.

TEXAS: On Thursday, Republican Governor Abbott signed an executive order directing all state agencies to sue the Biden administration for any federal actions that threaten the Lone Star state’s energy sector.

FYI: The photo comparison was inspired by Dearest telling me repeatedly that Abbot reminds him of Bush. I never noticed it before, but now I see what he means.

TWITTER: Twitter has suspended Catholic World Report’s account because the Catholic publication referred to Biden’s transgender nominee as “a biological man identifying as a transgender woman.” Twitter said those words were a violation of Twitter rules “against hateful conduct.” Catholic World Report will not be allowed to tweet from its account unless it deletes the message.

Ivermectin is a safe, inexpensive and widely available medicine that is used world-wide for the treatment of intestinal worms lice, and mites in animals and humans.

YOUTUBE: This week, YouTube removed two videos from Senator Ron Johnson’s account. They showed doctors testifying, under oath and before the U.S. Senate Homeland Security Committee, about their successes in using a safe, inexpensive, and widely available drug called Ivermectin to treat for people with COVID-19.

On January 27, Senator Johnson said: “Apparently, the ‘doctors’ at Google know more about practicing medicine than heroic doctors who have the courage and compassion to actually treat COVID patients and save lives.

Google’s “doctors” apparently also know more than the NIH. In April, the NIH published an article on-line saying that Ivermectin inhibits the growth of the virus responsible for COVID-19. In June, the NIH put the article into their print magazine.

On January 14, the NIH upgraded its recommendation for Ivermectin, making it an option for use in treating COVID-19 within the United States.

GRAMMY NOTES: The Buzzers made a pilgrimage to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and the St. John Paul II shrine, both in D.C. Sadly, only a little bit of the National Shrine is open right now due to COVID, but they did get to go inside the chapel at the St. John Paul II shrine, which has GORGEOUS mosaics all over the place! I love mosaics!

2022: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/DonaldJTrumpJr/videos/174114127419819 [4:27] to hear a report on the new GOP.

Three incumbent Republican senators (Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina) have announced that they won’t seek re-election in 2022. None are populists. Political analysts suggest this could mean the Senate GOP caucus will be “Trumpier” two years from now. Works for me!

BORDER: One of FAUXTUS’ first acts was to issue an executive order shutting down construction on the southern border wall. This move killed 5,000 construction jobs in one fell swoop, but the cost to Americans won’t end there.

Congress had approved funding for 350 miles of wall for which 270,000 tons of steel bollard fencing have already been produced but not assembled. It has to be paid for. Then it has to be either destroyed or stored. In addition, there are partially completed areas that we will have to pay to undo.

Conservatively, that one executive order will cost 5,000 American jobs and billions of taxpayer dollars.

BUYCOTT: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/dcdraino/videos/152475643205322 [1:03] to hear why you should consider buying something from MyPillow.

Just one caveat … my sil and dd love their MyPillows so got us each one. Dearest didn’t like it and I am allergic to foam, so they’re in the guest room … where my sil and dd can enjoy them when they visit LOL.

CALIFORNIA: San Francisco’s public schools have voted to strip the names of 44 schools in their district including George Washington, Paul Revere, Thomas Jefferson, Francis Scott Key, Abraham Lincoln, Herbert Hoover, and current U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed called the proposal to remove the names “offensive” and said the school board should focus on reopening schools.

CLIMATE CHANGE: FAUXTUS’ climate czar, John Kerry, is calling climate change the “most significant public health challenge of our time.” Seriously? CLICK (or not) https://www.facebook.com/whitehousebrief/videos/386826529242923 [5:16]. I didn’t.

COVID-19: FAUXTUS campaigned on a promise to turn the tide of the pandemic, saying he had a superior plan to the one that was being executed by the administration of President Donald Trump.

A review of the 15 major executive actions related to managing the pandemic involve ordering the government to create 14 different plans to combat the pandemic, orders which in almost every case, come with no deadlines.

IOW, he had a year to formulate a strategy supposedly superior to the one Trump had to make on the fly … but all he really had was what Trump was already doing plus plans to make more plans.

FACEBOOK: The social media giant has hired Roy Austin to act as vice president of civil rights and deputy general counsel. Austin served in the Obama administration veteran and FAUXTUS’ transition team. It isn’t clear what Austin’s specific responsibilities will be at Facebook, which did not respond to inquiries. My best guess … think up new ways to persecute Trump supporters.

GRIM REAPER: Governor Nipple Ring’s nursing home order killed thousands of the most vulnerable in this country … and then he had his lackeys lie to cover it up.

A new report by the New York Office of the Attorney General shows that the numbers of coronavirus resident deaths at 62 facilities was underreported by approximately 50 percent. I.e., 1,229 reported vs. 1,914 actual.

In some facilities, the percentage was much higher.

RACHEL LEVINE: FAUXTUS has nominated this openly transgendered born-male for the post of Assistant Secretary for Health.

In line with the Left’s current break with reality, Levine’s Wikipedia biography never admits that “she” was born in 1957 and lived most of “her” life as a male, but never uses “he” or lists what name came before “Rachel.

The irony is rich with this one. “She” is is a professor of pediatrics and psychiatry at the Penn State College of Medicine. God help “her” students and their future patients.

She also served as Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health from 2017 to 2021, during which time she came under fire for creating a policy whereby nursing homes through the state were required to admit COVID-19 patients … then removed her mother from the personal care home where she was living.

When called out on this, Levine claimed “personal care homes” were not “nursing homes” and so did not fall under her order, which I suppose makes what she did something less than the flaming pile of hypocrisy one might think. Or something.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS: An Ohio mother of three decided after a long day and more than one meltdown in the car that a quick, painless dinner was the way to go. Most of us who have been there can surely relate. By the time she got to the window, all three of her kids were crying about something or other, which is when she discovered she had forgotten her wallet.

With tears in her eyes, she looked at the cashier and said, “Hun, I am so sorry but I have to cancel that order.” Then, she says, “Without hesitation he takes out his wallet and swipes his card.” She said she’d run home and grab her purse, but the kind young man would not hear of it. She snapped a quick picture, which she later posted to social media, hoping to show the young man’s mom what a kind heart he had.

As it turns out, the young man (who is saving up for a car) has done this before and thinks it’s no big deal. His mom reports, “It makes me probably even more proud of him because he’s not seeking the limelight. He’s not like, ‘Hey, look at me, you know, I did this great big good deed.’ He’s still like, ‘It’s just something I would do anytime.’”

SAINT OF THE DAY: On January 30, we celebrate St. Savina of Milan. During the persecutions of Emperor Diocletian, she was noted for giving aid and comfort to Christian prisoners and assisting in providing decent burials after their executions. She was martyred in 311 AD.

SCHOOLS: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/whitehousebrief/videos/866294143939192 [2:16] to hear an epic rant by a very angry dad. He speaks for all of America right now.

SUED: On January 27, Western Energy Alliance, a group representing fossil fuel producers on federal lands, filed a suit against FAUXTUS’ executive order halted oil and gas leasing on federal lands and waters.

The law is clear. Presidents don’t have authority to ban leasing on public lands. All Americans own the oil and natural gas beneath public lands, and Congress has directed them to be responsibly developed on their behalf.” – Alliance President Kathleen Sgamma

Unless it’s overturned, FAUXTUS’ illegal order will cost 1 million American jobs. And since we aren’t going to stop using the stuff, we’ll have to waste more money buying it from foreign sources who will then have leverage over us on the world stage.

FAUXTUS’ climate czar, John Kerry, says the administration wants all those workers to transition into “better” jobs that are “cleaner‘ and cites making solar panels. I can’t imagine what he means by “better” since oil and gas workers make an average of $101,181/year. Ditto “cleaner” since producing solar panels creates tons of toxic waste.

VP of COLOR: Democrat Kamala Harris is the first female of any color to be elected to the office of Vice President, but the first male of color was Republican Charles Curtis.

WOMEN’S SPORTS: [2:34] – FAUXTUS’ preference for trans “rights” will destroy all the gains made by Title IX.

YOUTUBE: On Jan. 19, YouTube suspended Trump for one week. Now they’ve extended it to “indefinite.” Trump had 2.79 million subscribers. Get woke. Go broke.

GRAMMY NOTES: Mama Buzz bought a new crucifix with her Christmas money. Wow!

CHICOMS: Now that Xi has got his own man in our White House, he’s ramped up his nuclear saber rattling.

Over the week-end, Beijing sent four fighter jets and eight bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons plus another 16 military aircraft of various types into Taiwan’s air space.

In recent months, Communist China has repeatedly threatened to invade Taiwan, an independent country which Beijing considers a breakaway province.

DOWN SYNDROME: Marian Avila is using her success as a fashion model to bring awareness to the chromosomal disorder she shares and to encourage people to pursue their dreams no matter what.

FAUXTUS: CLICK https://rumble.com/vda6lx-democrats-push-bill-to-enshrine-fraud-and-stifle-dissent.html [20:08] to hear Tucker report on the staggeringly rapid social change the Dems want to bring about.

Stephen Kruiser writes, “Biden might be such a train wreck that he makes us miss Obama. … Even The Lightbringer waited for a while before he turned the IRS into his personal goon squad to target conservative groups.

Joe Biden’s first five days in office have made it clear that a lot of people aren’t going to enjoy this presidency. I was only sort of joking when I said he might make us miss Obama. Heck, this guy might make a lot of his voters miss Trump.”

FILIBUSTER: Senator McConnell says the Democrat’s effort to end the legislative filibuster appears to be dead. “No Senate majority should destroy the right of future minorities of both parties to help shape legislation,” he said.

The legislative filibuster was a key part of the foundation beneath the Senate’s last 50-50 power-sharing agreement in 2001. With these assurances, I look forward to moving ahead with a power-sharing agreement modeled on that precedent.”

HERETICS ON THE BUS: Sister Simone Campbell, known for organizing the “Nuns on the Bus” tour and for offering prayer at the 2020 Dem Convention, says FAUXTUS has a “very developed approach” to abortion.

She also claimed that the “political obsession” with the “criminalization of abortion” has broken the Church apart.

Yeah, no. It’s heretics like her who have caused the division. The Catholic Church’s opposition to abortion has stood firmly since the first century.

H.R. 1: The first bill proposed by the Democrat majority in the House of Representatives seeks to use the House’s power of the purse to bludgeon the states into conforming to a centralized election system pioneered in California and other deep-blue states.

Congress can’t technically compel the states to change their voting laws, but seasoned politicians know that the states have become dependent on federal money to run their elections, and can’t afford to pick up the tab themselves.

To make matters worse, HR 1 would grand “ultimate supervisory power over Federal elections” to Congress, an extraordinary usurpation of governmental authority that the Founders specifically assigned to the states.

If this atrocity becomes law, the “Grand Old Party” of Abraham Lincoln might as well disband, because Republicans would never have any hope of regaining a congressional majority or controlling the White House again … which, of course, is the whole point.

H.R. 350: Democrats in the House are proposing the “Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2021”, and unsurprisingly it’s not about reining in Antifa or BLM (who are not even mentioned). It’s about appeasing the growing demands on the Left that Trump “cultists” be “deprogrammed.”

Tulsi Gabbard warns that the bill would “undermine our constitutional rights and freedoms,” and lead to law enforcement targeting “almost half of the country.”

It moves towards the thing Joe Biden said in his inauguration speech that shouldn’t happen, which is a dehumanization of your opponent. He needs to denounce people like John Brennan and their statements, bills like the one Adam Schiff put forward, and truly speak to the American people about how we must come together.

FAUXTUS (by which I mean the people operating his puppet strings) likely support the bill.

ILLINOIS: Forget what kids need or their parents want. Also forget “The Science” that shows in-person classes have an insignificant effect on spreading the coronavirus and an increasing number of kids killing themselves. The Chicago Teachers Union voted again NOT to return to in person teaching.

Their intransigence is difficult to understand given that schools around the state and nation have opened without too many problems. In Chicago itself, 130 private and parochial schools along with 2,000 learning centers returned to classrooms in the fall and 6,500 pre-K and special education teachers and students returned on January 11.

KENTUCKY: Legislation to ensure that babies born alive are provided proper medical care received overwhelming support from Democrats and Republicans in the Kentucky Legislature.

Gov. Andy Beshear refused to sign the bill, but he didn’t veto it either. That means the bill became law without his signature.

Beshear received support from pro-abortion groups during his campaign, and he has vetoed similar pro-life legislation during his time as governor. This is the first piece of pro-life legislation to become law during his time as governor.

LOCKDOWNS: Some people thought the extended lockdowns would bring about a little “baby boom.

The opposite happened, with birth rates falling across the United States. Florida saw an 8% drop, with Ohio declining 7% and Arizona sliding 5%.

Demographer Lyman Stone wasn’t surprised. “Lockdowns communicate worry and a negative outlook on society, which motivates pessimism about fertility,” he said.

MILITARY: FAUXTUS revoked the Trump administration’s ban on gender transitioning in the military, allowing troops to serve on the basis of their gender identity.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS: Ryanair runs what amounts to an airborne taxi service in Europe. The fares are incredibly low, but they really only cater to day trippers. When our Army Princess spent a summer and fall semester studying in Italy and Scotland, she learned the hard way that Ryanair keeps its rates low by charging punitive fees for stored baggage.

Last month, a woman attempted to take her 3 kids from their home in Ibiza, Spain, for a week-end visit to relatives in the UK. Even though the plane was half-full, Ryanair refused to allow her to carry her bag on board, because it was slightly too large to fit under the seat. The woman became overwhelmed with distress when she realized she couldn’t afford to pay the £50 (US $68.41) penalty Ryanair was demanding to put her bag into the luggage compartment.

A young man came forward saying, “Don’t worry, I’ll pay for you,” and handed over his credit card. The woman offered to repay him, but he declined to give her his name.

SECSTATE: The Senate confirmed Antony Blinken as secretary of state in a 67-22 vote. Blinken has the support of pro-abortion and pro-LGBTI organizations. [LGBTI = Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender-Intersex]

SECURITY CLEARANCE IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 2021: [:46] – Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL-7) is proposing a breathtaking ban on allowing any American who rallied in support of President Trump post-election or who publicly voiced concern about election fraud from being able to hold a job in the Armed Forces or any federal law enforcement agency. Murphy is a member of the House Armed Services Committee.

THIRD PARTY: A new Rasmussen poll of 1,200 registered voters shows that a hypothetical “Patriot Party” led by former President Donald Trump would win the support of 23% of the electorate, bumping the GOP down to third place with just 17%. It’s clearly a recipe for Democrat rule, which is probably why Trump has disavowed the effort.

TITLE IX: [3:01] – Trans activists are a serious threat.

TWITTER: The social media giant has locked LifeSite News out of its account as punishment for telling the biological truth – i.e., that President Joe Biden’s newly named Assistant Secretary of Health “Rachel” Levine is a man.

WAY TO GO, DAD: Hunter Tynes had to have surgery on his skull that left significant scarring where his hair won’t grow. Noting the boy’s discomfort with his weird hair, dad Jonathan got matching “lightning bolts” shaved in his hair.

WOKE BASEBALL: Cancel Culture has hit Cooperstown. Retired pitcher Curt Schilling has been prevented from entering the Hall of Fame for expressing right-wing political opinions.

He’s fed up and told the committee to take him off the ballot. “I’ll defer to the veterans committee and men whose opinions actually matter and who are in a position to actually judge a player.
