There was a moment when Moses had the nerve to ask God what His name is. God was gracious enough to answer, and the name He gave is recorded in the original Hebrew as YHWH.
Over time we’ve arbitrarily added an “a” and an “e” in there to get YaHWeH, presumably because we have a preference for vowels. But scholars and Rabbis have noted that the letters YHWH represent breathing sounds, or aspirated consonants. When pronounced without intervening vowels, it actually sounds like breathing. YH (inhale): WH (exhale).
So a baby’s first cry, his first breath, speaks the name of God. A deep sigh calls His name – or a groan or gasp that is too heavy for mere words. Even an atheist would speak His name unaware that their very breath is giving constant acknowledgment to God. Likewise, a person leaves this earth with their last breath, when God’s name is no longer filing their lungs.
So when I can’t utter anything else, is my cry calling out His name?
Being alive means I speak His name constantly. Is it heard the loudest when I’m the quietest?
In sadness, we breathe heavy sighs. In joy, our lungs feel almost like they will burst. In fear we hold our breath and have to be told to breathe slowly to help us calm down. When we’re about to do something hard, we take a deep breath to find our courage.
When I think about it, breathing is giving Him praise. Even in the hardest moments!
This is so beautiful and fills me with emotion every time I grasp the thought. God chose to give himself a name that we can’t help but speak every moment we’re alive. All of us, always, everywhere. Waking, sleeping, breathing, with the name of God on our lips.

We experienced this kind of “keep your nose out” attitude in our local public elementary school, so switched the kids to a wonderful Catholic school where we got used to being part of the team. At that point, the local public junior/senior high was the better choice for our kids. I’m not sure it still would be, but thankfully, we’re not parenting school-aged kids any more. So I found a YouTube about how to unstick a key, which amounts to pulling the key off and cleaning inside, around, and under, then putting it back on. As soon as I pulled the k key off, it was obvious that I needed to do the whole keyboard. GRAMMY NOTES: Early in her first year in full time school, Mama Buzz forgot her lunch box, so the teacher bought her lunch in the cafeteria. Since it was loaded with foods that made her hyper, I got to “enjoy” her afternoon reacting to and evening detoxing from the exposure. I read the school the riot act: SHE CAN’T EAT ANYTHING SHE DOESN’T BRING FROM HOME.
When I thought one of my girls was ready for or needed it, I’d give her a new responsibility paired with a new privilege. Because they all had serious food allergies, my top priority was teaching them to be responsible about what they ate. So I gave her the responsibility of remembering her lunch pail and the privilege of keeping her reading lamp on longer than her sisters did at bed time.
Mini Mama was always testing my limits and she loved all of her most allergenic foods, so she “accidentally” forgot her lunch box again. The teacher called, requesting I bring it. I explained to her that I was sick in bed, my hubby was at work, and my kid needed to learn a serious lesson about her serious food allergies, so no. The teacher acted like I’d condemned my first grader to Auschwitz.
I told her, “Look. You can give her an apple, nothing more, and when she gets home IN THREE HOURS, she can eat her lunch.” And my kid never forgot her lunch again and I happen to think that me being a real stinker about her learning responsibility is at least part of why she is now such an AMAZING mom.

6) Universal peaceful acceptance by the Church of Francis has never really occurred.

Re: Coffin’s reference to Francis using coprophilia and coprophagia in a 2016 interview. The reporter asked, “Regarding the media: a consideration regarding the means of communication…” which Francis apparently interrupted by talking about the ability of the communications media to do good or evil. He mentions calumny, defamation, slander, and disinformation, all of which are serious sins.
Then, he says, “I believe that the media should be very clear, very transparent, and not fall prey – without offence, please – to the sickness of coprophilia, which is always wanting to communicate scandal, to communicate ugly things, even though they may be true. And since people have a tendency towards the sickness of coprophagia, it can do great harm.”
I guess that a very literal translation of coprophilia would be “shit speak”, but the English definition is “the condition of desire for sexual gratification and sexual arousal derived from the smell, taste, or sight of feces or from the act of defecation.”
Similarly, coprophagia literally translates to “shit eating”, but its English definition is “the consumption of feces.” In certain species (e.g., dung beetles), this behavior is normal, but in humans it “is associated with mental illnesses and unconventional sexual acts.”
Maybe the problem here is in translation. Jorge Bergoglio’s native language is Spanish and he apparently is comfortable with Italian, which I believe is very similar to Spanish. I’ve heard him speak English, though haltingly, and the interview was with a Belgian news outlet, so who knows what language he was speaking or what he really meant. What we do know is that the Vatican website has these words which are laden with sexual perversion still posted in the English translation more than five years after the interview.
I had a friend who was happily married and trying for a baby. She went to have a suspected pregnancy confirmed, because it was cheaper than the OB. The minute it came back positive, they began the abortion hard sell. She said to them in slow, precise terms. “We WANT this baby.” They didn’t understand the concept. Because of the above, I decided to share the story below, which was published anonymously on Facebook.
I went into planned parenthood for a pregnancy confirmation. I was scared but that’s a little natural.
When my test came back positive, I had a whirlwind of emotions. However the “counselor” I spoke with after my test came back did not. She TOLD ME that “keeping this pregnancy would be a great mistake”, “it’s not that big of a deal” and “your best choice is to terminate the fetus”. Never asked what my thoughts or feelings were. With no knowledge about my financial situation, relationship or mental health. Just based off of the fact that I was young. I said “no thank you” and she replied with “do you really have a choice?”
I kindly stood up and replied with “thank you for your time” and left the office. While making my way back to my car through the hallway, I was getting laughed at or stared at by all personnel.
While asking the ladies at front desk to unlock the door so I could pay for my services and leave, she told me “you’re making a mistake!” With the most sour tone and nasty look on her face. Then proceeded to tell me I should go back and talk with the “counselor” I previously left about my options.
I politely declined and informed her that if she proceeded to lock me in the facility I was calling the police. Her eyes, growing as big as my disappointment. The door unlocked and I paid my balance and left.
Absolutely baffling.

Even as Democrats across the country abandon forced masking as a political liability, 221 Pelosi Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives voted NO. There are currently 222 voting Democrats in the House. I was unable to find a roll call of the vote.
