CUOMO: We now know that CNN anchor Chris Cuomo helped his skeezy brother, Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY), malign his victims in a coordinated effort to survive sexual and criminal conduct scandals.

One CNN staffer said, “The fact that Chris Cuomo wasn’t fired over his inappropriate conflict of interest in actively affecting a news story is not only irresponsible of CNN, but also a disgrace to journalism.”

Part One (of ten) – “The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, over-reaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion, and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision. This latter element requires that before the acceptance of an affirmative decision by the experimental subject there should be made known to him the nature, duration, and purpose of the experiment; the method and means by which it is to be conducted; all inconveniences and hazards reasonably to be expected; and the effects upon his health or person which may possibly come from his participation in the experiment. The duty and responsibility for ascertaining the quality of the consent rests upon each individual who initiates, directs or engages in the experiment. It is a personal duty and responsibility which may not be delegated to another with impunity.

PEDESTRIANISM: In 1880, Frank Hart was the most famous athlete in America. That year, he walked a record-breaking 565 miles at one six-day pedestrian match. For about 30 years, this extreme sport (which I’d never heard of before today) captivated the nation. Pedestrians had all the trapping of modern sports stars, including sponsors, trainers, nutritionists, nicknames, trading cards … and America’s first Black sports star.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD: Live Action interviewed former Planned Parenthood center managers who talked about how disillusioned they were when they worked at Planned Parenthood and found out that most centers didn’t offer OB/GYN, prenatal, and other basic health care services to women. The abortion giant offered little to pregnant women because “they made their money if somebody had an abortion.”

VOTE FRAUD: Former baseball analyst and Retired Army Intelligence Captain Seth Keshel has announced the results of his nation-wide 2020 Election audit. According to his findings, there were 8.1 million excess, invalid votes in the 2020 election.

Based on his findings, Trump actually won Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

His analysis did not include cyber flipping. If that also occurred, he thinks Trump likely also won Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Virginia.

He also thinks California, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Oregon, and Washington were closer than reported.

What happened at the convenience store

Barbara Mack took to Facebook where she explained how she bought a homeless man a bottle of water on a very hot summer day, how someone shamed her for it, how she responded, and what happened next. It’s a great story!

I may have inadvertently started a revolution in the convenience store today.

I stopped to grab a water, and on the way in I saw a homeless man I know sitting in the shade with his bike beside him. He was red-faced and shaky looking. I asked if he was ok, and he told me that he was just resting. This guy’s got the mind of a child, and I’m afraid he doesn’t know he needs to stay extra hydrated when it’s super hot outside.

There were a bunch of people in line in front of me and only one cashier, so I grabbed two waters and yelled to the cashier that I was taking one to the guy outside and I’d be right back (I’m a regular there).

When I came back in, the lady in front of me turned around, hands on hips, and told me that I was just enabling that ‘homeless person’ (said with a sneer) and that I shouldn’t be wasting my money on him.

It’s hot as hell in Florida right now. Mid nineties with humidity around 80%. It’s a good day for heat stroke, and I told her so. I said I’d rather give him a water than call an ambulance.

I was gonna shrug it off. Let it go. Chalk it up to ignorance and the heat making everybody cranky.

And then she told me I should be ashamed of myself. That someone should call the police on him, and that it should be illegal to beg for money. That people who give the homeless money just encourage them to stay homeless and that should be illegal, too.

Ashamed. I should be ashamed for giving some poor old guy a water – it cost a whole dollar, BTW – and I should get in trouble for making sure he didn’t stroke out in this heat.

I guess I look nice. Approachable. Like I wouldn’t rip your head off. I am nice, most of the time.

But not always.

And I lost my temper.

I told her to call a cop and report me for buying sh*t at a convenience store.

I told her that I wasn’t in the damn mood for crazy right now. That it’s a hundred f***ing degrees outside, and I’m hot and tired and sick to death of stupid people. That if she had an ounce of compassion in her whole body, she’d buy him a cold drink, too. That maybe she should figure out why she needs to accost complete strangers. And how’s about after that, she back the f**k up outta my face and outta my business and turn back around and not say one more damn word to me.

I’m just about deaf in one ear. I try to modulate my voice. Unless I get angry.

It got pretty loud there at the end. There was dead silence in the store and then someone said loudly “For real!”

And the guy at the front of the line told the cashier to add a sandwich to his purchases for the guy outside.

The guy behind him bought an extra ice cream. The girl behind HIM got change for a twenty ’cause that guy could probably use some cash.’

Every single person in line got him something. Every one, except the now very embarrassed lady in front of me, who slunk out without saying another word.

When I got to the cashier, she didn’t charge me for either of the waters, because she was going to take him one anyway. And mine was free because of the entertainment.

When I went outside, he was eating his ice cream and drinking his water with a pile of stuff all around him, a big old grin on his face. He didn’t look shaky anymore.

And there, people, is the story of why I hate people. And why I love people. All in the same damned minute.

I sat in the car and drank my water and laughed with tears in my eyes, same as I’m doing now.

COVID-19: Larry Johnson at Gateway Pundit asks a question that has me going “hmm.” As we’ve all noticed, everybody claims the latest uptick in cases of COVID are due to the Delta variant. But there is no direct test for COVID variants. PCR tests can only tell if someone is positive or negative for the coronavirus. Distinguishing which particular variant a person has requires a genome sequencing test, which requires special equipment and trained personnel.

FLORIDA: Last week, Polk County Sheriff’s office bagged 17 child predators, ages 26 to 47, the sheriff described as “incredible deviants,” “dangerous,” and “nasty, nasty, nasty people.”

Nine of them have criminal histories including 27 previous felonies and 22 previous misdemeanors in total. Three of the suspects were employees at Walt Disney World. One of them is a woman.

JAN. 6: The Democrats have been working hard to keep the identity of Ashli Babbit’s killer secret. We now know it was Capitol Hill Police Officer Lt. Mike Byrd.

Judicial Watch just obtained documents showing that the Medical Examiner’s office applied to have Babbitt’s body cremated just two days after the shooting.

This whole thing smells worse than spoiled meat. Sadly, given all the other evilness the Dems have gotten away with, I’m not expecting that Babbit’s family will ever see justice in this life.

LAUGHTER: Comedian John Branyan shares what a gift laughter is and why tolerance will lead us all to hate each other. [3:30] – “God could’ve made us any way He wanted. And he did that. Look at your neighbor. He did that.” LOL

MODERNA and BIONTECH: Prior to the pandemic, the West’s two major COVID vaccine developers had never rolled out a single product. Yet somehow, when COVID-19 suddenly appeared, they managed to use the to-date-unsuccessful mRNA technology to produce vaccines for a novel virus that is earning them billions of dollars … with zero product liability.

Every time you post anything about COVID-19 at Facebook, a “fact check” appears assuring us that vaccines are extensively tested for efficacy and safety. That is true for FDA approved vaccines, which undergo years and years of trials.

But the COVID-19 vaccines only have Experimental Use Authorization. Their clinical trials were extremely rushed, performed by the companies themselves, and the results were self-reported … on products they are making billions of dollars selling to a government that is doing all their advertising for them.

SMALLPOX: Steve McCann at American Thinker makes an interesting point. “There are those who are attempting to compare the Supreme Court’s approval of individual states mandating the smallpox vaccination in response to a virulent outbreak around the turn of the 20th Century as a legal justification for the de facto mandating of Covid vaccines.

But the differences could not be starker. Nearly 30,000 out of 100,000 of those that contracted smallpox died of smallpox. Less than 110 out of 100,000 of those who contracted Covid-19 died of Covid-19. Further, the smallpox vaccine had been developed over a hundred years before 1900 and its benefits and side effects were well known.”

NOTE: The document says the FDA has not yet approved the monoclonal antibody cocktail known as REGEN-COV for prevention. On Friday, the FDA announced that REGEN-COV is now authorized for people who have been exposed.

VAX: Ohio attorney Thomas Renz says he has evidence that more than 45,000 people have died as a result of the COVID-19 jabs and has filed a federal lawsuit to prove it. The lawsuit seeks to stop the HHS from continuing to authorize the COVID-19 shots for emergency use, and to prevent full Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for the drugs.

Meanwhile, New York City has mandated a vaccine passport, the first of its kind in the nation. It is required for entry to indoor restaurants, gyms, and entertainment venues.

Also, the FAUXTUS administration has enlisted at least 50 social media personalities to push the vaccines to audiences of tens of millions of children and adolescents on YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch.

Face Mask Efficacy Update

Back in April, I blogged about a study that said masks don’t make any difference. I have just learned that this study, “Facemasks in the COVID-19 era: A health hypothesis” [Medical Hypotheses 146 (2021) 5] has been RETRACTED. The reasons are listed below, but first I want to give you the results of the “facemask efficacy” search I just did.

MAY 2021: A meta-analysis of fourteen published studies of the effectiveness of face masks found limited evidence for face mask benefit in limiting the spread of SARS-CoV-2. There is an urgent need for evidence from randomized controlled trials to investigate the efficacy of surgical and cloth masks on transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and user reported outcomes such as comfort and compliance

RETRACTION STATEMENT: Medical Hypotheses serves as a forum for innovative and often disruptive ideas in medicine and related biomedical sciences. However, our strict editorial policy is that we do not publish misleading or inaccurate citations to advance any hypotheses.

The Editorial Committee concluded that the author’s hypothesis is misleading on the following basis:

1. A broader review of existing scientific evidence clearly shows that approved masks with correct certification, and worn in compliance with guidelines, are an effective prevention of COVID-19 transmission.

2. The manuscript misquotes and selectively cites published papers. References #16, 17, 25 and 26 are all misquoted.

3. Table 1. Physiological and Psychological Effects of Wearing Facemask and Their Potential Health Consequences, generated by the author. All data in the table is unverified, and there are several speculative statements.

4. The author submitted that he is currently affiliated to Stanford University, and VA Palo Alto Health Care System. However, both institutions have confirmed that Dr Vainshelboim ended his connection with them in 2016.

A subsequent internal investigation by the Editor-in-Chief and the Publisher have determined that this article was externally peer reviewed but not with our customary standards of rigor prior to publication. The journal has re-designed its editorial and review workflow to ensure that this will not happen again in future.

The Editor-in-Chief and the Publisher would like to apologize to the readers of The Journal for difficulties this issue has caused.

The settlement also requires the state pay $45,000 in Doe’s attorney fees and $125,000 in damages.

Shortly after “her” complaint was filed, poor “Ms.” Doe was moved to a women’s facility. During the 18 horrific months “she” spent incarcerated in men’s prisons, “she” was denied female commissary items (?) and was “misgendered” by correctional officers. Oh, the horror!

AUSTRALIA: Because of a slight uptick in cases, including one death of an 80-year old man, the government has ordered a total lock down on Sydney. Only 923 people have died across the entire continent of Australia since the beginning of the pandemic, the vast majority in the 80+ years metric.

BOWSER: [9:43] – Seventeen hours after imposing a new indoor face-masks-for-all rule, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) was seen at a large, indoor wedding where neither she nor the majority of the guests wore masks. When asked why she was violating her own mask mandate, her security retinue quickly escorted her away.

A CNN reporter actually attended the function, but chose not to report on Bowser’s grotesque hypocrisy. As the reporter points out, the wedding had to have been on Bowser’s schedule for months. So why did she impose the mask mandate that same morning? Is she stupid or does she enjoy flaunting in our faces that she can do whatever she wants and we can’t?

TWITTER: Former New York Times science reporter, Alex Berenson, has been suspended for simply citing the results from a clinical trial by Pfizer and raising questions over any vaccine mandate.

UNITARIAN PASTOR: Sarah D. at Twitchy writes, “Progressives’ efforts to persuade the vaccine-hesitant to get the COVID19 vaccine haven’t been terribly successful thus far. Maybe they just need a better messenger. Like progressive Unitarian Pastor John Pavlovitz, for example. Who wouldn’t be persuaded by this?

Some of my favorite Tweet responses to Pavlovitz:

How dumb do you have to be to tweet this?

calling them anti-Christ that should bring them around

So you’re condemning Christians by projecting your perceived self-righteousness onto Christ. Thereby giving you the moral high ground from which you glare down past the plank in your eye.

VAX: On Monday, the FAUXTUS administration announced that 70% of American adults have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine. Ninety percent of the sub-group of people who are most likely to get seriously ill and/or die are vaccinated.

I went looking for a graph showing U.S. daily deaths for the whole pandemic and discovered a lot of sites are only showing truncated graphs (e.g., March 1 to August 1). COVID UPDATE: VAERS

VAERS is the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. It opened in 1990, but would accept reports on events from as much as 10 years prior.

This graph is featured at https://surakblog.wordpress.com/2021/07/30/the-masks-come-off-so-to-speak/
  • All non-COVID vaccines for 30+ years: The gray bars on the graph represent the total numbers of VAERS reports for ALL non-COVID vaccines from 1990+ through July 23, 2021.
  • COVID vaccines for 8 months: The red bar represents all the VAERS reports for the COVID-19 vaccines that got emergency approval for use in the USA from mid-December 2021 through July 23, 2021.

I went to the VAERS website and attempted to reproduce the results on the bar graph. Despite the fact that the site says the end dates are still July 23, I got different numbers. However, the point the graph is making remains the same – i.e., the experimental COVID vaccines are far more dangerous than any FDA approved vaccine. Here are my results.

I also tried to suss out what the numbers mean, given the huge number of COVID vaccinations that have occurred in this eight month period. This was complicated by the fact that VAERS is voluntary and the level of reporting is low, so the actual numbers are certainly higher. In addition, there’s no way of telling how many total doses of any vaccine was administered. All they give is a percentage of the total 1,146,536 reports they have recorded. Still, the percentages are telling, especially when compared with other vaccines. It should be noted that all the COVID vaccines are lumped together, while vaccines for other diseases often list various versions, some of which are much safer than others.

You can look at this stuff yourself by going to the VAERS link below, click “Search CDC WONDER”, choose “AGREE.” Then you can choose the “Request Form” tab on the top left. I chose “Group results by Event Category” and by “Vaccine.

BORDER: No other nation in the world has open borders [4:45].

CHILD SACRIFICE: Video warning: content may be difficult for some viewers [2:32] – Luke Lancaster writes at catholic.com, “When atheists want to discredit God and the Bible, one of their whipping boys is Jephthah in the Old Testament. They see Jephthah in Judges 11 offering his only daughter to God as a sacrifice, and they object that his action is not condemned as evil in God’s Word. …

Judges 11 is not about God signing off on child sacrifice. … [Jephthah] made a stupid vow to God that ended up contradicting God’s law delivered to Moses. He was so sure about what would come out of his house—sure in the way that only God can ever be sure—that he thought he could impose a deal on God, notwithstanding the risk of transgressing God’s own laws in doing so. And then, even worse, when Jephthah saw the folly of his bargain, not only did he not repent of making such a foolish vow and beg for God’s forgiveness, but he doubled down and did the thing God had unequivocally condemned!”

EXORCISM: The building at 72 Ransom Street NE in Grand Rapids, Michigan, was originally constructed in the 19th century as a Jewish synagogue; later, it was used as a Greek Orthodox church. After eight years and an estimated 20,000 abortions, pro-lifers convinced the owner of the building to sell it to them. They immediately evicted the abortion practice and turned the building into a pro-life pregnancy resource center.

According to the new owners, a day or two after taking control of the building, a small group of Christian pro-life leaders gathered in the building to pray. They chose to specifically pray by the back-alley entrance that had been used by the abortionist to enter and exit the building. They held hands in a circle and prayed that God would cleanse the space of evil.

Suddenly, at the very moment a local pastor in their group concluded their prayer with “Amen,” the back-alley door swung open on its own and a rush of air went through the room and out the door. A few seconds later, a cool breeze began blowing in from the open door.

The group quietly walked back to the front of the building. While meditating on what they had just witnessed, a neighbor stopped by and asked what they had done with the statue of a demon that had been on the roof. The pro-life group had never seen such a statue and hadn’t removed anything, yet the woman insisted she had seen it on top of the building for some time, but that it was now gone.

One of the pro-life leaders present later described the events as “a spiritual transfer of ownership.” The building is now home to LIFE International, a pro-life organization dedicated to creating pro-life materials and training pro-life leaders around the world.

KINDNESS: When a juvenile orca whale was discovered beached on Prince of Wales Island, people gathered to keep it hydrated until high tide. The young whale survived and has rejoined its pod.

LYING WITH STATISTICS: It is true that “Extreme temperatures kill 5 million people a year.” It is also true that “heat-related deaths are rising.” It is NOT TRUE that heat kills 5 million people a year.

Table 1 in the study published at the Lancet (link below) reports the annual average excess deaths due to non-optimal temperatures for 2000–2019 equaled 5,083,173. Of these, 4,594,098 were cold-related deaths vs. 489,075 that were heat-related deaths.

For those Science Science Science Democrats who can’t pay attention to little things like facts, that means that extreme cold killed ten times as many people as extreme heat did.

As for the change over the twenty years covered, the excess cold-related excess deaths declined at a faster rate than heat-related deaths rose. Planet Moron calculated that, because of the slight warming of our climate, 150,000 people did NOT die of cold.

VAX TAX: Ian Millhiser, a senior correspondent for the left-wing website Vox and senior policy analyst for Center for American Progress, tweeted: “Congress should increase the income tax rate on taxpayers who are unvaccinated, and who have no legitimate religious or medical reason to be unvaccinated, to 99 percent.

Or maybe you could herd us all into an internment camp with infected illegals. That’ll teach us!
