4 Pete’s Sake: Monday, November 13

It is at once sickening and maddening that when anything happens you know exactly how the left/media will react.  The only reason the democrats have remained a viable political party for as long as they have is they turned our schools into indoctrination centers turning out socially engineered automatons who have no knowledge of America’s history and are barely capable of independent thought.   They only see the headline in any story and accept whatever they are told without question.

Someone once said the ill-educated are more easily commanded.

You just knew once this woman came forward making accusations against Judge Moore, an honorable and Godly man, that the media would grab it like a coyote grabbing a dead ground squirrel and rub their noses in it to spread the smell.  The newspapers and airwaves were blitzed with scurrilous accusations that many people believed, even if the facts were made up from whole cloth.  Meanwhile there’s a trial going on right now of a senator charged with 22 counts of corruption and sex trafficking. No one has heard a word of it. The difference is the senator has a ‘D’ after his name and that makes all the difference, since they are held to no standards of morality.

CtH: I mentioned the Menendez trial and Dearest had literally never heard of it.  He likes to listen to Rush and Laura Ingraham, so is usually up on this stuff, but he’s been really busy lately.  (Hurrah for the Trump Economy!)

The DC Swamp is an exclusive society that does not accept outsiders. They despise Donald Trump for invading their little clique and want to deprive him of anyone who would not sell him out. They are furiously attempting to ruin Judge Moore and can only do it with the complicity of their republican co-conspirators.

McConnell Implies He May Not Seat Roy Moore if He Wins Election

RINO swamp creatures such as Mitch McConnell are so afraid that Roy Moore will win the Alabama Senate seat that they are pulling out all the stops to block him.  And to hell with the voters.
Republican senators and their advisers, in a flurry of phone calls, emails and text messages, discussed fielding a write-in candidate, pushing Alabama’s governor to delay the Dec. 12 special election or even not seating Mr. Moore at all should he be elected. In an interview, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the majority leader, declined to say whether he would agree to seat Mr. Moore should he win.

Swamp Creature McConnell Implies He May Not Seat Roy Moore if He Wins Election!

Would the Senate invoke Article I, Section 5, clause 2, to “expel” Senator Roy Moore?

[CtH: I’ve seen stories about how Democrat senators have no intention of ousting Menendez EVEN IF HE’S CONVICTED!]

The WaPo article does not say how WaPo found these specific women, it only says it heard general rumors:

“While reporting a story in Alabama about supporters of Moore’s Senate campaign, a Post reporter heard that Moore allegedly had sought relationships with teenage girls. Over the ensuing three weeks, two Post reporters contacted and interviewed the four women.”

Alabama is a pretty big state, it would be interesting to know how WaPo identified four women out of millions for a story that has not been uncovered by any of Moore’s many prior political opponents.

Let’s hope more evidence comes out that sheds light on who is telling the truth, and that it comes out before the election.

John McCain @SenJohnMcCain

The allegations against Roy Moore are deeply disturbing and disqualifying. He should immediately step aside and allow the people of Alabama to elect a candidate they can be proud of.  1:44 PM – Nov 9, 2017

[CtH: Yo, Mitt.  Would you have stepped aside if Democrat operatives had made up crap about your past behavior?]

Lindsey Graham Calls for Roy Moore to Step Aside but Defends Bob Menendez
All of the ALLEGATIONS against Moore date from the late 1970s and early 1980s — more than 30 years ago.

Compare this to the allegations against New Jersey Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez, who is ON TRIAL for corruption and sex trafficking.

Lindsey Graham says Moore should be dealt with “harshly”, but that Menendez is an “honest” and “honorable man.”

Judge Roy Moore: Establishment Republicans, Democrats, Washington Post May Have Colluded in Smear

Well I think they should see it how it really is, and that’s 40 years I’ve been in the public eye and serving as a deputy prosecutor—as a judge, I’ve been a chief justice twice. I’ve run a Foundation for Moral Law, and now after 40 years—four weeks out from an election, not even mentioned in a primary, they bring charges and try to back them up with other things that sound bad?

Moore refused debate because of Dem rival’s stance on ‘transgenderism’

“The transgenders don’t have rights,” Moore said Wednesday during a press conference. “They’ve never been denominated as having rights by the U.S. Supreme Court.”

Moore also attacked Jones Wednesday for supporting allowing transgender individuals to serve in the military.

ABC’s Raddatz Disgusted by Skeptics of Allegations Against Roy Moore

On Sunday’s Good Morning America, ABC’s Martha Raddatz used her analysis to express her frustration and contempt for such people. “I don’t really know what those voters are waiting for,” she huffed.

Raddatz was dumbfounded that there were people who didn’t believe the allegations. And her contempt was visible as she talked down to them and about their way of thinking:

But I think, generally, you hear, you know, we don’t know and it was 40 years ago. Sort of the things that Roy Moore was saying. That “if,” “if” he did that. And I don’t know really how you take this further. You’ve got four women on the record who The Washington Post sought out.

CtH: Let’s ask Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick, Carolyn Moffet, Christy Zercher, Eileen Wellstone, and Sandra Allen James about all the support people like you gave them, shall we, Martha?

Van Hollen Won’t Say Whether Menendez Should Step Down if Convicted By Jury

[CtH: I used to have such high regard for George and Barbara and George and Laura Bush. So far, Laura hasn’t (to my knowledge) done anything to tarnish that. But I heard that some years ago, Barbara said Sarah Palin should shut up and go back to Alaska. I hoped it was just a scurillous rumor. But now it seems the Georges are bad mouthing Trump. I was impressed during all those years they did not stick their noses into public affairs. So WTH are they doing NOW, shooting off their mouths about a REPUBLICAN president?! I’m so disappointed.]

Sunday Funnies

I did a post yesterday that mysteriously disappeared. I got it back, then this morning it was gone again. I’m just posting some funny images here so if it disappears again at least I won’t have any time and effort invested in researching things.

The Stupid Is Strong In This One

2017_11 08 Rhodes tweet

Remember when Democrat-dominated New York City tried to ban soft drinks larger than 16 ounces? That lead balloon failed when the New York Court of Appeals ruled that the ban exceeded the city’s regulatory authority. Democrats have such a hard time understanding what is and is not allowed by law.

This is doubly true of the wives (and civilian husbands). I’m SO PROUD of the great support Mama Buzz provides her veteran. She’s never donned the uniform, but she definitely SERVES.

We Persevere

Because we must. For two days I’ve been incapacitated by some kind of bug. Chills, fever, chest congestion, post nasal drip, etc. It usually happens when there’s a drastic change in the weather. When I was a smoker it happened several times a year. Now it just takes a couple days of whining to my wife and trying to get a little sympathy (usually doesn’t work; she just comes up with the standard “If men had to make babies there’d be no babies because we’re all such wimps.”) Fortunately, since I’m retired I don’t have to work every day while I’m sick. I can just sleep and overmedicate, as most men do.

[CtH: We are grateful you are back on your chair, if not totally on your feet yet. <3]

I'm just so sick of the usual suspects who call themselves republicans jumping all over Judge Roy Moore. The NRSC has cut off his funds, they say even if he wins they want nothing to do with him. What is probably the most maddening thing to me is how intense the media whores bear down on people they want to destroy, yet have not breathed a word of the senator on trial for corruption and sex trafficking… and won't. Still, I read this morning a television station in Alabama went out to do man-on-the-street interviews and couldn't find a single person who believed Moore did anything wrong.

[CtH: They only apply "believe the victims" when the alleged perp is a right-winger.  Women accused Bill Clinton of rape; Hillary called them lying floozies and the left nodded and yawned. Anita Hill accused Clarence Thomas of saying something suggestive umpteen years before, in a place where others heard whatever it was he said and where neither she nor they made anything of it at the time.  The left went berserk.  He wasn't fit to serve!  Bring out the tar and feathers.  Grrr.]

Alabama TV Station Can’t Find a Single Person Who Believes Vicious WaPo Hit Piece on Judge Roy Moore

None of the respondents according to Walsh told her they believed the Post’s reporting.

“It’s hard to believe the events that transpired yesterday,” Gordon Fluker of nearby Wilsonville, AL said to Walsh about the Washington Post report.

Fluker’s response was the standard according to Walsh.

“Out of all the voters we spoke with Friday in Columbiana, we didn’t find one voter who believed the Washington Post report about Moore,” she said.

NRSC Drops Roy Moore After Child Molestation Allegations
Now, the NRSC is no longer listed as part of Moore’s joint fundraising committee. The committee still includes the Moore campaign, the Alabama GOP, and the Republican National Committee. (For now.)

Many prominent Republicans, including Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), and President Donald Trump have said that if the claims against Moore are true, they do not think he is fit to be in the Senate.

[CtH: But Democrats are saying that, even if Menendez is convicted, he shouldn’t lose his senate seat!]

Poll: Post-Moore Scandal, Alabama All Tied Up
The survey conducted by Opinion Savvy and commissioned by Decision Desk HQ shows Moore and Democrat Doug Jones tied at 46 percent. The poll surveyed 515 likely voters Thursday and has a margin of error of 4 percent. Eighty-two percent of voters said they were aware of the allegation that Moore had a sexual encounter with a 14-year old.

Republicans float pushing back Alabama special election

Some party members are reportedly considering getting Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) to move the date of the Dec. 12 special election to early next year, according to The New York Times. Based on Alabama law, it’s too late to remove Moore’s name from the ballot.

Republicans Say Moore’s More Trouble Than a Senate Seat’s Worth

Roy Moore could do more damage to the GOP brand than an Alabama Senate seat is worth.  That’s a major concern for Republicans as Moore tries to weather allegations, reported by the Washington Post, that he initiated a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl in 1979 when he was 32, and others in the GOP try to figure out how best to handle the political bombshell.

CNN: Why Voters Are Standing by Roy Moore
“The Obama-Clinton Machine’s liberal media lapdogs just launched the most vicious and nasty round of attacks against me I’ve EVER faced!” he wrote. “We are in the midst of a spiritual battle with those who want to silence our message.”
“The forces of evil will lie, cheat, steal — even inflict physical harm — if they believe it will silence and shut up Christian conservatives like you and me,” he added.

One Of Roy Moore’s Accusers Worked As Interpreter For Hillary, Biden, Other DemocratsDeborah Wesson Gibson, owner of the interpreting company Signs of Excellence, provided services for Clinton during her 2016 campaign, as well as working with former Democratic Vice President Joe Biden during other events. Photos posted to her company’s social media site show her providing sign language services for Sen. Patrick Murphy and Sen. Bill Nelson, both Florida Democrats.

[CtH: Hmmm … just have to wonder whether (how often?) she was groped by that pig, Joe Biden?  The timing and her affiliation with top Democrats make her accusation stink to high heaven.]

You Knew It Was Coming

One thing about democrats, they’re nothing if not predictable. Anytime they’re faced with an opponent who isn’t willing to play by their rules the smears start. In the 2008 republican primary Herman Cain found himself leading. Voila! Four women came forward to claim he sexually harassed them. The media ran more than 100 pieces in a 24 hour blitz. He dropped out of the race and the paid whores melted back into the woodwork, never to be heard from again.
One day AFTER the deadline to have a candidate changed on the ballot, Rahm Emanuel revealed that congressman Mark Foley had sent a suggestive e-mail to a young House page. He was never heard from again. They tried it with Gary Bauer, but he was such a minor distraction nobody saw him as being capable of having an affair.
Now comes the sickening part. Judge Roy Moore, a true conservative and a man of God, bested McConnell/RINO/democrat-backed Luther Strange in the primary for the special election to be held December 12. The polls show him with a substantial lead, so out comes a woman who claims he acted indecently toward her 40 YEARS AGO. Nothing had been mentioned in all that time he spent on the bench of the Alabama Supreme Court or during the runup to the primary. The usual suspects raised their worthless voices for him to drop out. You know their names: McConnell, McCain, Graham, Flake, and Murkowski. What remains to be seen is whether the voters in Alabama will be fooled by this obvious hit job. What is certain is that the media will engage in a relentless attack for the next month. It’s what they do.

Woman Claims 32-Year-Old Roy Moore Molested Her When She was a Young Teenager
Aside from Corfman, three other women interviewed by The Washington Post in recent weeks say Moore pursued them when they were between the ages of 16 and 18 and he was in his early 30s, episodes they say they found flattering at the time, but troubling as they got older.

MARK LEVIN Exposes WaPo Hit Piece on Judge Moore As Complete Fabrication

Mark Levin told his audience on Thursday this whole thing doesn’t smell right. This story was planted and perfectly timed in their hopes to doom Moore’s campaign.
How did the WaPo know there were four women, who they were, and how to contact them?… A Washington Post reporter just happens to be in Alabama talking to Roy Moore supporters… And he happens to hear what no one has reported in 38 years, no political opponents – No one… That Roy Moore, 38 years ago, made advances to teenage girls.

Mitch McConnell Leads Establishment Republicans in Effort to Push Roy Moore Out of Alabama Race
Roy Moore defeated Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL) in the primary run-off in September to replace former Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), who now serves as U.S. attorney general.
The Roy Moore campaign said in a subsequent statement that if the allegations were true, they would have surfaced during his previous campaigns. “This garbage is the very definition of fake news,” he added.

Ms. McCrummen’s criminal history began with North Carolina Case # 1992 CR 00654, a violation of the Article 19 – False Pretenses and Cheats section of the North Carolina Criminal Code. Alabama State Congressman: Moore Accusers Should Be Prosecuted
“If they believe this man is predatory, they are guilty of allowing him to exist for 40 years,” Henry told the Cullman Times. “I think someone should prosecute and go after them. You can’t be a victim 40 years later, in my opinion.”
“I’m not buying it,” he said. “It’s too easy for someone to make these accusations.”

Call me crazy, but I just think dismemberment is wrong.

It never ceases to amaze me that leftists can endure the cognitive dissonance of condemning waterboarding as too cruel, while demanding access to dismemberment as a right. But maybe this is one reason they seem to be such lunatics. Their brains are broken.

A former abortionist explains the dismemberment abortion procedure.

In June, Texas banned this gruesome and inhumane procedure. Abortionists have challenged the ban, which has now gone to trial in the District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Texas is vigorously defending its ban, pointing out that several abortion procedures which do not dismember the unborn child while still alive are still legal including fetal injection of intracardiac potassium chloride, transabdominal injection of digoxin, and cutting of the umbilical cord.

Similar bans have remained unchallenged in Mississippi and West Virginia, been temporarily or permanently stopped by court order in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, and been overturned as unconstitutional in Alabama.  The Kansas Supreme Court is expected to hand down a final decision sometime soon on its challenged ban.

Laws like this that get conflicting district court decisions usually end up being tried by the Supreme Court.

Is ending the life of a human fetus moral?

A recent Marist poll has shown that an overwhelming majority Americans are in favor of restricting abortion to the first trimester or to cases of rape, incest, and life of the mother.

Given that a ban on D&E does not eliminate the possibility of a second trimester abortion, one must wonder why abortion providers like Planned Parenthood are fighting in court for the right to continue tearing live fetuses to death.
