1A: Five years ago, the Christian owner of Tastries Bakery in California declined to make a wedding cake for a lesbian couple and instead referred them to a different bakery, citing her sincere religious belief that marriage is intended to be between one man and one woman.

The state’s Department of Fair Housing and Employment took her to court for allegedly violating California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act. Last week, the court found in favor of the baker!

The Thomas More Society, which supported Miller in the lawsuit, noted, “There’s a certain irony there, that a law intended to protect individuals from religious discrimination was used to discriminate against Cathy for her religious beliefs.”

CANADA: Alberta’s Premier became the first leader of a Canadian province to apologize for the way the unvaccinated were treated during the pandemic. Beyond the apology, Smith also said she is working to pardon residents who were fined or arrested for breaking strict COVID-19 protocols.

CARGO: The cargo crisis that saw a record-breaking 109 ships waiting to dock at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach earlier this year has ended. But it’s not because California got its act together. It’s because the Biden economy sucks so much that imports are way down.

Meanwhile, water levels on the Mississippi are so low that it’s impeding the movement of barges. Just under half (47%) of our grain, approximately 5.4 million barrels of crude and 35% of thermal coal are moved on the Mississippi by barge.

FYI: A federal appeals court has temporarily halted the student loan forgiveness plan. Six Republican-led states – Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, and South Carolina – sued because the plan bypassed Congress.

MIDTERMS: A new Trafalgar poll shows a tiny 6.7% of voters saying they believe Biden’s explanations for inflation. And nearly 55% said that Biden cares less about the middle class than did prior presidents, including 61% of Hispanics and 66.8% of Asians.

NEVADA: Rasmussen polls of Likely Voters shows majority opposition to men infringing on women’s right. “Should men who identify as women be able to compete in women’s sports?” 72% NO. “Should these men be able to use women’s restrooms/lockrooms?“ 65% NO.

And Real Clear Politics shows Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo (GOP) currently ahead of incumbent Gov. Steve Sisolak (Dem) by 2.3 points. Back in April, Sisolak was up by 14.

SUDDEN DEATH: Sixteen-year-old Jack Aidan Strehl passed away October 14. Strehl earned his Blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do at age 11. He threw shot put and discus for his high school Track & Field team, held down a job, and was planning for a career in engineering or aviation.

TRANS: A new Trafalgar poll shows a majority of Americans (78.7% of voters polled) across the political spectrum believe so-called “gender affirming” treatments should be illegal for minors. These included 84.6% of Independents and 53.2% of Democrats.

COLLUSION: The Attorneys General of Missouri and Louisiana filed a lawsuit (Missouri v. Biden) against the Biden Administration alleging massive collusion by the Deep State (permanent administrative staff) to collude with Big Tech to censor and manipulate Americans – from average citizens to entire news outlets – regarding Hunter’s laptop, 2020 election fraud, the origins of the ‘rona virus, vaxxx skepticism, and other issues. The suit names Joe Biden, Anthony Fauci, the Department of Homeland Security and nearly a dozen federal agencies and Secretaries.

Naturally, neither the government nor Big Tech wants to disclose the damning evidence against themselves, but in September, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg admitted in a Joe Rogan interview that Facebook algorithmically censored the Hunter Biden Laptop for 7 days following a request from the FBI. Then, on Friday the court granted plaintiff’s request to depose a whole slew of bigwigs, including Tony Fauci and former WH Spox Jen Psaki.

ILLINOIS: A new poll shows Republican gubernatorial challenger, Darren Bailey, with 42% vs. incumbent Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker at 44%. Libertarian Scott Schluter received 4%.

VAXXX: The EU Commission drafted multiple contracts with Pfizer which each member state had to sign before getting their share of the vaxxx. On Friday, October 21, 2022, Dr. John Campbell shows how the contracts were heavily redacted before being shown to the people who got the jab. In them, Pfizer demands full immunity from any liability, while repeatedly admitting it has no idea if the injections (original or changed) are either dangerous or efficacious over time. Even worse, there are no benchmarks for evaluating either.

While it might have made some sense that the lack of data was cited in the first contract, there was and is zero excuse for that ignorance to continue throughout the following contracts. However, Pfizer made no effort to track its product; they just kept putting the same garbage clauses in. “We know nothing! We’re not responsible! SEND US THE MONEY!”

WISCONSIN: During the 2020 election count, tabulators in Wisconsin were not only connected to the internet, but also to an unofficial IP address belonging to WiscNet. Who programmed the tabulators to connect to an unauthorized NGO? And for what purpose? Why didn’t the firewall detect the devices?
Which public officials knew of the connection? What took place via the connection? How many other machines are connected to WiscNet or other NGO?

CALIFORNICATION: Newsom just signed a law empowering the state to strip custody from parents who do not support their minors’ demands for “gender-affirming care”, otherwise known as medical mutilation and sterilization of kids too young to understand the consequences. The bill applies not only to California’s parents, but to minors in other states who flee to the Tarnished State to such pursue treatments against their parents’ will. Under the new law, doctors are mandated to hide children’s medical information from parents if it is related to “gender identity.” IOW, if your kid wants a tattoo or ear piercing, they need your permission. But if they want to have their breasts or penises amputated, moms and dads have no right to say no.

INFANTICIDE: On September 27, 2022, California’s Governor Newsom signed 13 pro-abortion bills into law. (Hmm, 13.) One of them is especially egregious because it prevents coroners from investigating the deaths of babies during the perinatal period – i.e., up to 28 days after birth.

MICHIGAN: The Michigan Republican Party and the Republican National Committee (RNC) has won their lawsuit challenging rules that the Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D) attempted to impose on poll watchers. The judge said the rules violate state and federal laws.

NORTH CAROLINA: A group of pro-lifers have won their 2020 lawsuit against the city of Greensboro, which has admitted to using COVID-19 as an excuse to arrest them for praying and counseling outside an abortion mill. Because the city admitted fault and agreed to “future protections,” the pro-lifers agreed to forgo damages. The court did order the city to pay their legal expenses.

VAXXX: In late September, Regan Lewis, a healthy 20-year-old nursing student, had to get a ‘rona jab to participate in her clinicals. The next day, she had a heart attack and died.

AMAZON: Amazon “does not allow products that promote, incite or glorify hatred, violence, racial, sexual or religious intolerance or promote organizations with such views.”

This apparently does not include two Halloween costumes that Amazon is allowing FunWorld to sell that are extremely disrespectful to the Catholic faithful. And it’s not like they haven’t been hearing feedback from the faithful. But rather than remove those two costumes, Amazon has banned comments on them from anyone who hasn’t purchased them.

The follow up from Biden’s visit also seems to confirm this idea. John Fetterman didn’t speak at the Biden event at all and his wife dealt with the press. There is zero mention of Biden’s visit at John’s campaign website, but his wife’s Facebook page features pictures of her on Air Force 1 with FAUXTUS and of her in front of Air Force 1 and of her with various Biden aides.

The Hill published a photo of John, wife, and FAUXTUS, with a headline, “Biden says Oz is for ‘undoing everything we have done’.” Hmm … that sounds like a campaign ad for Dr. Oz. LOL

FLORIDA: The corrupt CDC voted 15-0 to add the unsafe and ineffective ‘rona jabs to the list of required childhood vaccinations. While campaigning for John Fetterman, Biden repeated the claim that his grandfather had been an “All-American” at Santa Clara University. The records show that, while Ambrose Finnegan did attend the school and played football there in the early 1900s, he was never named All-American.

POULTRY: We can expect scarcity and higher prices for eggs and poultry meat, as this year’s highly lethal avian flu has decimated chicken, turkey, and duck growers both here and in Europe.

VAXXX: A funeral director from New Zealand says that 95% of the corpses he has handled since the vaxxx roll out have died within two weeks of getting the jab. A funeral director in the UK and another in Alabama echo his finding. “From the very moment these injections went into arms, the death rate soared beyond belief.”

VOLKSWAGON: Climate loonies have taken to gluing themselves to walls and floors to protest the use of fossil fuels. Usually, folks just peel them off and arrest them. But Volkswagon has taken a novel (and frankly hysterical) approach. They’ve turned off the heat, turned out the lights, locked the doors, and left them there.

When they demanded bowls for their body waste, VW said nope. And periodically security guards come by to check on them with their bright flashlights. One of them has been removed to a hospital for treatment after his glued hand swelled up.

Nobody was allowed in, so they couldn’t order carry-out. They complained about the food and drink VW provided, despite the fact that they also claimed to be on a hunger strike. After 42 hours of “peaceful protest” (translation: cluttering up the showroom so the company can’t do business), VW sent in police. The comments on the Twitter thread are excellent. Here are just a few:

“One would think that people who call themselves scientists would have foreseen the need for a container for waste when gluing oneself to the floor, but yet here we are.”

“This is the equivalent of a child holding their breath.”

“You wanted decarbonization, and they obliged by turning off the heat.”

WOMEN: In August, the Monmouth University generic ballot found women preferred Dems over Republicans (46% – 29%). This week’s poll found women evenly split (38% – 38%) between the two parties. Yowza! That’s eight points in just TWO MONTHS.

ABORTION: An abortion clinic in Bournemouth, England, has been granted a huge “buffer zone” that will be in effect for at least the next three years. Forbidden activities in the ENTIRE SHADED REGION include carrying any signage related to abortion, offering counseling of any kind regarding abortion or abortion alternatives, as well as praying, reciting scripture, genuflecting, sprinkling holy water, and making the sign of the cross.

DEPOPULATION: It seems there’s no question any more whether the ‘rona jab is achieving the primary goal set for it by Bill Gates and the whole “Save the Planet from the Humans” cabal.

In Israel, miscarriages and still birth rates among vaxxxed women are nearly 34% higher than unvaxxed women. Live birth rates have dropped 10% (UK) and Germany (12%). In Hungary, the most vaxxxed counties are showing a 15.2% drop vs. the least vaxxxed counties which are at -4.6%.

In Taiwan, which has an 80% vaxxx rate, live birth are down by 27.66%. In Sweden, nine months after they started vaxxxing 18-49-year-olds, the birth rate took a nose dive. And Sweden proves lockdowns aren’t the cause, because Sweden never did it.

In Europe, excess deaths in children has jumped 691% over pre-vaxxx levels.

Last Friday, a 17-year-old male collapsed while singing at the All-State Honors Show Choir in Illinois. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Officials are investigating.

On Wednesday, an 18-year-old offensive lineman at Mississippi State University died unexpectedly. The Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Offices are investigating.

FBI: Paul Vaughn, one of the pro-lifers who has been swarmed by SWAT teams told the National Catholic Register, “No one — not the local sheriff’s office, elected reps or me — were given any clue beforehand” that the early-morning raid was about to take place. It took six hours at a federal facility before the charges were even explained to him. Vaughn is president of Personhood Tennessee in Centreville, Tennessee. He faces felony charges for praying, reading Scripture and singing hymns outside an abortion clinic.

Felons who have been convicted of murder or sexual assault are not allowed to vote in Florida. Democrats have been telling them they can. Now they’re flabbergasted because they’re being arrested.

State law says that a voter has to “willfully” commit the crime. Many if not all of these people have and will continue to get off, because they were told by Democrat operatives that the law had been changed. But these arrests are still worth while. In one of these arrest videos, the cop said, “I’ve never seen this charge before in my life.” Yeah, exactly. And that’s exactly the problem. Democrats have known they could cheat BECAUSE NOBODY WAS CHECKING.

IGOR DANCHENKO: John Durham’s apparently endless investigation into the “Russia! Russia! Russia!” dossier the Dems cooked up, paid for, and released shortly before Americans went to the polls in 2016 has produced two trials. Both of them have ended in acquittals. Danchenko has bragged that he was the primary source for the fake dossier. So … Trump got spied on and impeached, twice, and his friends went to prison. But the people who unjustly targeted him are walking free. Judgment will happen sooner or later. God knows who did what.

MASSACHUSETTS: Democrat governments really and truly do SUCK. When LEOs came to enforce an eviction notice, this b***h released her bees, then smashed the lid and flipped the hive to make them angry. When she was told that several of the officers who were stung are allergic to bees, she said, “Good.” Doesn’t she look just so d**n smug in that booking photo?! Sheesh. She probably knew she would be released without bail. Do I need to remind anyone that J6ers are still rotting in prison because they were denied bail on misdemeanor trespass charges?! She has been charged and I sincerely hope the judge has some personal experience with how lethal bee stings can be so she doesn’t walk AGAIN. I dunno why this makes me so angry. Oh wait, yes I do. I HAVE LIFE THREATENING ALLERGIES and I’m so sick of people who act like it’s just hay fever that keeps me locked up in my home.

The Seven Deadly Sins

Pride is the Queen of Sins. Her Generals are the Seven Deadly Sins (or Vices). A mnemonic for the Seven Deadly Sins is VALEGAS.

Each of the Seven Deadly Sins has soldiers that are known as Daughters, which are ways in which the root sin manifests itself in an individual’s life.

Each Vice also has a Virtue that conquers it.

Vainglory is an immoderate desire for renown, prestige, or the praise and respect of others. It is also seeking these things in the wrong objects, from the wrong people, or in a wrong manner.

The Daughters of Vainglory are Disobedience, Boasting, Hypocrisy, Contentiousness, Stubbornness, and Inordinate Love of Novelty (quirkiness, eccentricity).

The Virtue that conquers Vainglory is Magnanimity, which means “greatness of soul” – desiring great or good things in part because they are great or good, but primarily for the glory of God.

Anger as a vice is a passion that seeks vengeance, is unregulated by reason, and/or is disproportionate to the cause is evil. But there is a similar, but praiseworthy passion that is better known as zeal, which seeks justice, is regulated by reason, and/or is proportionate to the cause.

The Daughters of Anger are Quarreling, Indignation, Blasphemy, Clamor (throwing tantrums), Contumely (verbal and/or physical abuse), and Swelling of the Mind (getting so worked up that you can’t think straight).

The Virtue that conquers Anger is Patience (in moderation). St. Thomas Aquinas said it is a sin to not get angry over things one should. He called it “unreasonable patience.” A failure to correct the wicked encourages them to persist in their evil deeds, since there are no reprimands for their wrong actions. It also causes confusion in the community over what is truly right and wrong, and thus may lead even good people to do evil.

Lust is a disordered craving for sexual pleasure. Human sexuality is a gift from God, but it can easily get out of hand. Whether a person is single and/or celibate, or married, lust may creep in, drawing us in on ourselves where it becomes harder to truly love. One of the great temptations of our day with regard to lust is pornography, which not only greatly disrespects human persons, but also is literally addictive.

The Daughters of Lust are Blindness of Mind, Thoughtlessness, Inconstancy, Impulsiveness, Self-Love, Hatred of God, Love of This World, and Abhorrence or Despair of a Future World.

The Virtue that conquers Lust is Chastity. Proper use of our sexuality frees us to love God and others purely. Where the expression of Lust is immoral (i.e., auto-erotic, homosexual, extra-marital, or pornographic), then total abstinence is called for. Where it is moral (within marriage), but disordered (self- rather than other-centered), then periods of abstinence will help bring about balance. This is one of the great treasures of Natural Family Planning that I sincerely wish the Catholic Church would actually promote. NFP has built-in periods of abstinence alternated with monthly honeymoons. It really blesses the marriages where it is practiced.

Envy is a sadness or sorrow for the goods and blessings given to others, insofar as their gifts differ from or surpass our own. It is often mistakenly equated with jealousy, but it is actually quite different. If I am jealous of a good that you have, then I want to possess it for myself. But if I am envious of a good that you have, then I want to minimize or destroy it in you.

Envy isn’t always obvious. Gossip, for example, is an expression of envy, because it seeks to diminish others and their accomplishments. So is failing to praise accomplishments or to encourage others in their endeavors. Perhaps the sneakiest form of envy is when it masquerades as kindness (e.g., praising non-accomplishments, participation trophies) or fairness (e.g., refusing to reward excellence, “equity”).

The Daughters of Envy are Gossip, Detraction, Schadenfreude (i.e., feeling happy when others experience misfortune), and Hatred. The Virtue that conquers Envy is Fraternal Charity, which means to be grateful for the gifts and talents of others and to desire that each and every person reach his or her full potential.

Gluttony is the disordered consumption of the world’s goods. It may be eating or drinking to excess, but it can also be doing too much of something we enjoy (e.g., surfing the ‘net, playing video games). A sneaky form of gluttony is the desire to have things exactly our way – such as food that is prepared just right or in just the right amount. People who are exceedingly picky are always finding something to complain about, because they refuse to suffer even the most minor inconvenience.

The Daughters of Gluttony are Unseemly Joy, Scurrility (vulgarity), Uncleanness, Loquaciousness, and Dullness of Mind (lack of understanding).

The Virtue that conquers Gluttony is Temperance (desiring material pleasures to an ordered degree). If we’re doing too much of something, we can practice Temperance by abstaining from that thing for a period of time. And if we are too picky, we can resolve to accept what is given as it is given and with gratitude.

Avarice is an inordinate desire for wealth. Also known as cupidity, greed, and covetousness, it is a corruption of the natural instinct of possession. The object of avarice is not limited to money.

The Daughters of Avarice are Treachery, Fraud, Falsehood, Perjury, Restlessness, Violence, and Insensibility to Mercy.

The Virtue that conquers Avarice is Generosity. Be generous, give without looking to get something in return, without delay or restrictions. Remember that nothing you own, be it money or things, originated with you; nor is any of it destined to stay with you into eternity.

Sloth is usually equated with inactivity or laziness. But it is really about resisting the demands of God’s love, for Him, for ourselves, and for others. Slothful people may avoid fully engaging in relationships of love and sacrifice by doing as little as possible, but they may do it by staying so busy that they never have time.

The Daughters of Sloth are Malice, Spite, Faint-Heartedness (timidity), Despair (melancholy), Sluggishness (particularly in regard to the Ten Commandments), Wandering of the Mind (after unlawful things).

The Virtue that conquers Sloth is Diligence. St. Thérèse of Lisieux believed in doing small thing with great love. For St. Teresa of Calcutta, it manifested in years of humble and tireless service to the poorest of the poor.

COVID-ARMAGEDDON: A team of idiots, I mean researchers, at Boston University succeeded in grafted the highly infectious Omicron spike on to the original, highly lethal Wuhan strain of COVID-19. The result killed 80% of the mice it infected.

Sen. Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kan.), said that the research entailed “lethal gain of function virus research” that creates the “potential to kill more people than any singular nuclear weapon. … Viruses have managed to escape even the most secure labs. … [Such] research must stop immediately while the risks and benefits can be investigated.”

Boston University issued a lengthy statement defending its research and claiming it not only was not “gain-of-function” research, but that it had made the virus “less dangerous.” They also said the new virus couldn’t escape, because “We take our safety and security of how we handle pathogens seriously.”

Hmm. Methinks Boston U. has taken its talking points straight out of the Fauci-Wuhan play book.

ECONOMY: Last week, Joe Biden said the economy is “strong as hell,” and then on Monday, his SPOX Karine Jean-Pierre claimed, “Republicans are actually going to make things worse, and Democrats want to do the opposite and make things a little easier.” ::smh::

S&G: An aspiring Pennsylvania Democrat has a Big Idea about what’s wrong with America (men aren’t having enough sex) and what we need to do to fix it (establish a “right to sex”).

The Marian Dogmas

In popular culture, the word “dogmatic” is loaded with negative connotations, but in the Catholic Church, a “dogma” has a very precise definition that is at once both profound and beautiful.

In Catholic teaching, there is an order or hierarchy of truths. In this order, “dogma” is the highest. Years ago, one of my pastors told me the lowest one is something like, “Some theologians think that such and such might maybe be true.”

When the Catholic Church defines a truth as “dogma”, it proclaims that the stated Truth is a matter of Divine Revelation. Catholic dogmas are the most serious and solemn of all teachings, ones which Catholics are obliged to believe. They may not be specifically stated within Sacred Scripture – e.g., the word “Trinity” does not appear in the Bible – but they can never contradict Sacred Scripture.

The Roman Catholic Church has four dogmas about Jesus’ Ema (i.e., Mama). One, she is the true Mother of God. Two, she was a virgin throughout her life. Three, she was spared the stain of Original Sin. Four, she was assumed, body and soul, into Heaven.

Mother of God: The first Marian dogma is often referred to by its Greek name, Theotokos (i.e., God-bearer). The point of this dogma is to clarify that Mary wasn’t a surrogate birth mother who raised Jesus as His foster or adoptive mom. She was his true mother in the flesh. To me, it means that when Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, He used one of Mary’s eggs.

This dogma was defined in 431 at the Third Ecumenical Council at Ephesus to clarify for the faithful that Jesus was both fully human and fully Divine. The council was called, because Nestorius, Patriarch (i.e, Archbishop) of Constantinople (now Istanbul) was teaching that Mary was merely the Christotokos (i.e., Christ-bearer), that Jesus had had divine powers and a unique relationship with God the Father, but that He had not Himself been divine.

However, if that were true, then His death on the cross could not have paid the infinite and eternal debt of sin for all mankind.

Ever-Virgin: The second Marian dogma is that Mary was a virgin throughout her entire life. That she was a virgin when she conceived by the Holy Spirit is an essential sign that Mary’s son Jesus was indeed the Messiah. It is also confirmed in the Gospel of Luke. That she remained a virgin is suggested by Ezekiel.

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel.” – Isaiah 7:14

“The angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin…and the virgin’s name was Mary.” – Luke 1:26-27

“Then he brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary facing east, but it was closed. The Lord said to me: This gate must remain closed; it must not be opened, and no one should come through it. Because the Lord, the God of Israel, came through it, it must remain closed. Only the prince may sit in it to eat a meal in the presence of the Lord; he must enter through the vestibule of the gate and leave the same way.” – Ezekiel 44:1-3 [NABRE]

Immaculate Conception: The third Marian dogma is that she was spared the stain of Original Sin through the miraculous intervention of God in granting to her, preemptively, the graces of Baptism that Jesus won for us on the cross.

God is holiness itself, and cannot coexist with sinfulness; it is thus a logical imperative that Mary had to be completely free from sin. Jesus was conceived using one of her eggs, eggs that formed while she herself was in her own mother’s womb. He was physically nurtured by her blood as He grew inside her womb and then by her milk after He was born. Then, He was emotionally, mentally, and spiritually nurtured by her as He grew.

Just as the Theotokos affirmed that Jesus was fully human, so the Immaculate Conception affirms that Jesus was fully Divine. The Catholic Church is not deifying Mary with these dogmas, but rather clarifying the true nature of Her Son.

Assumption of Mary: The fourth Marian dogma is that she received her glorified body and was taken, body and soul, into Heaven. This tradition dates back to the earliest Christians, though it was not declared an infallible dogma until 1950 by Pope Venerable Pius XII.

There is no teaching about whether or not she died, only that God did not permit her body to suffer decay. In the East, the Feast of the Assumption is called the Feast of the “Dormition”, which can mean either sleep or death. At Medjugorje, one of the seers asked Mary if she died and she said she had not.

In the Middle East, the roofs of houses are walled and used as outdoor living spaces. When it’s hot, the family sleeps up there where it’s cooler. I often think that sometime after Mary went to live with John, they and their household were asleep on their roof when Mary was “changed in a twinkling” (1 Corinthians 15:51-53). Maybe there was even a trumpet that woke the others up, so they saw her glorified and taken up. But they would not have known if she died in her sleep or not.

Personally, I think that just as the Resurrection is our model for what will happen to believers in the end who have died, the Assumption is our model for what will happen in the end to believers who have not died.

After winning the 2020 special U.S. senatorial election over Kelly Loeffler, Democrat Raphael Warnock’s 2021 income jumped to half a million buckaroos. Despite the fact that he would now be in D.C. much of the time and also receiving his new $164,816 U.S. Senate salary, his church inexplicably decided that he should continue to receive his full pastoral salary ($120,000) and housing allowance ($7,417). He also used his new-found fame to earn $5,750 in speaking fees and get an advance of $243,750 for his memoir, A Way Out of No Way.

In November, Warnock has to defend his barely-warm senate seat against Republican challenger and former NFL star Herschel Walker. Real Clear Politics currently shows Warnock up by 3.3 points. But that may change if the following story gains traction.

It seems the church owns an apartment building that is supposedly a non-profit charity to help provide low cost housing for the down-and-out. The church, which overall possesses liquid assets of more than $1.2 million and pays a part-time pastor an exorbitant salary, also received $5 million more from Georgia taxpayers in August to conduct repairs to the apartment building.

The National Legal and Policy Center has demanded that Warnock and his church explain “why they are hiding their ownership in the apartment building and to account for the rents received. It’s despicable that in the name of MLK, they are evicting tenants for past due rents of trifling amounts.” One tenant was reportedly evicted for non-payment of a whopping $28.55 in overdue rent.

MICHIGAN: [57:51] – I didn’t listen to it, but according to Breitbart, Trump-endorsed Tudor Dixon did well in her debate Thursday evening against Gov. Gretchen “Jackboot” Whitmer.

MIDTERMS: Rasmussen’s latest Generic Congressional Poll shows Republicans at 48% vs. Democrats at 41%. And a new Harvard-Harris poll shows Republican approval at 49% vs. Democrat approval at 46%.

NORTH CAROLINA: Superior Court Judge Charles Gilchrist, who does not mask, sent a juror to mask-free jail for 24 hours for … refusing to wear a mask in a building and state where masks are no longer mandated. Judge Gilchrist also refused to let said juror, a single father, call his son to tell him he was spending the night in jail. To add insult to injury, the juror is a Navy veteran who reportedly served on the President’s Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery.

GRAMMY NOTES: Bunny’s Language Arts curriculum incorporates a lot of fine art (yay!!). One of her assignments recently was to write four lines or longer with a rhyming scheme and inspired by the painting Peacock and Peacock Butterfly by Archibald Thorburn. She wrote,

“The bird is bright

In my sight.

It’s like a queen

That I have seen.”
