GRAMMY NOTES: [14:13] – I used to do miniatures in a big way. My first project was a Buttercup Cottage kit (one room up, one room down) that Dearest designed and built a greenhouse addition for. We won Honorable Mention in a national contest with it! But, eventually, I ran out of room to display any more houses or room boxes, so I moved on to quilting and jewelry-making. Lately, I’m really into crochet.
Point being … Mama Buzz vicariously enjoyed my hobby for the years it lasted. But now the miniature table is turned and she’s the one building miniatures, while I’m the one vicariously enjoying her hobby. The difference is that my hubby is an architect, so the building of buildings was fascinating to him. Papa Buzz is a gamer. If I remember correctly, he’s really into World of Warcraft Warhammer. He was doing it on-line a lot, then he got her to play with him from a second computer. Then, somebody realized they could switch to table top play AND build all the cool miniatures themselves TOGETHER.
They are having a BALL. Very marriage building! And I am getting such enthusiastic, fun emails and texts from Mama Buzz about miniature topics I can totally relate to. Since I’m not doing miniatures any more, when Dearest went to visit the Buzzers for Easter, he took along all my old landscaping stuff. She followed up with the video above. This guy is fun to watch. One of the commenters said, “I could watch you fill out your tax return.” LOL It’s true. I was sitting here eating breakfast and giggling … thought I’d share.

CANCELED: After Daunte Wright was shot by a police officer, the mayor of Brooklyn Center said she should be fired immediately.
City Manager Curt Boganey said he wouldn’t fire her until she had received due process. “All employees working for the city of Brooklyn Center are entitled to due process with respect to discipline. This employee will receive due process and that’s really all that I can say today.”
Hours later, Bogany was fired. Council Member Kris Lawrence-Anderson said she voted to fire Boganey out of fear of potential reprisals from protesters if she stuck up for him.

DOWN SYNDROME: In 2017, Ohio passed a law banning abortions on unborn babies for reasons of sex, gender, or Down Syndrome. A judge with close ties to Planned Parenthood slapped an injunction on the law. But on Tuesday, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals over-turned the injunction, allowing Ohio to enforce the pro-life law.
HYPOCRISY: Coca-Cola and Delta Airlines have both criticized Georgia’s new voting law as oppressive and discriminatory. While both of these mega-corporations are headquartered in Georgia, they are legally incorporated in Delaware where the voting regulations are stricter than Georgia’s.

TRAFFIC STOP: December 2020 [5:25] – U.S. Army Lt. Caron Nazario told Windsor City Police (Virginia) he was “honestly afraid to get out” of his vehicle in videos of the incident showing officers with their guns drawn during the traffic stop.

I’m grateful that the videos exist, cuz this was seriously messed up. Thankfully, the primary police officer was fired and his partner was disciplined. And Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Grinston credited Nazario with remaining calm and professional during the tense situation. “He represented himself and our Army well through his calm, professional response to the situation – I’m very proud of him.”

I looked Höss up on Wikipedia. The article confirms Fr. Mike’s story about his last days. But the article also includes these paragraphs, which I think are particularly pertinent to us today.
In a farewell letter to his wife, Höss wrote on 11 April:
Based on my present knowledge I can see today clearly, severely and bitterly for me, that the entire ideology about the world in which I believed so firmly and unswervingly was based on completely wrong premises and had to absolutely collapse one day. And so my actions in the service of this ideology were completely wrong, even though I faithfully believed the idea was correct. BIG TECH CENSORSHIP: YouTube pulled a video of Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-FL, speaking with medical experts who suggested that children should not be mandated to wear masks.
In the video, Stanford professor Dr. Scott Atlas said: “I think that the masks in schools, there’s no scientific rationale or logic to have children wear masks in schools.”
YouTube said it removed the video because it “contradicts the consensus of local and global health authorities.”
BLM: The co-founder of the Black Lives Matter social “justice” movement just bought a lovely new home (with a guest house) in L.A.’s rustic and semi-remote Topanga Canyon, about 15 minutes from Malibu. Public records show it sold for a tad more than $1.4 million.

COVID-19: Progs are having trouble explaining away why some of their states (the ones that have kept strict stay-at-home rules in place) are now seeing surges in COVID-19 cases, while many Republicans states (the ones that rushed to reopen) are experiencing sizable drops.

Michigan’s Governor Whitmer did not and does not know this. Her state, which has had the most draconian lockdowns, is having a huge surge in cases. Despite the fact that individuals under the age of 50 account for only 3% of all COVID-19 deaths, Queen Jackboot wants to suspend in-person high school classes, all youth sports and indoor restaurant dining. So more people can stay at home … where the disease is spread most effectively.
MICHIGAN: We have been told over and over that outside interference of voting machines was impossible, because the machines had no access to the internet.
On Friday, Michigan Constitutional Attorney Matthew Deperno released his much anticipated Michigan Elections Forensics Report detailing how they found modem chips on the voting machines.
The report also details how they found 66,194 ballots cast in just 9 counties by people who were not registered to vote.
But this was “the most secure election in history!” So shut up.
MORONS: Upon taking office, FAUXTUS immediately overturned all of President Trump’s successful efforts to convince people not to migrate here illegally.
The ensuing FLOOD of illegals (many reportedly wearing BIDEN t-shirts) has caused the worst immigration crisis seen in 20 years.
On Friday, Reuters reported the FAUX fools in the White House are actually considering sending cash payments to residents of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, in a bid to prevent them from making the trek north as the idiots who caused it struggle to cope with it.
Roberta Jacobson, the White House’s southern border coordinator, said, “We’re looking at all of the productive options to address both the economic reasons people may be migrating, as well as the protection and security reasons.”
I’m guessing that NONE of the “productive options”include re-instating anything Donald Trump did that worked. Because that would make too much sense.
NEW MEXICO: On Thursday, Gov. Michelle Grisham [D] signed her second profoundly anti-life law, this time legalize assisted suicide in the state. Barely two months ago, she also signed a pro-abortion law that will keep abortions up to birth legal for years to come and could force doctors and nurses to help abort unborn babies.
RAAACISM: The progs are really working the “public health crisis” angle hard. Earlier this week, they declared that gun were a public health threat. Now it’s racism.
The Nazis used the same angle. First they had a big public health campaign in which they pushed the public health threat of vermin, like cockroaches, and recommending the use of poisons to eliminate them. Then, they began to refer to Jews as vermin and cockroaches.
The Nazi propaganda paper, Der Sturmer, ran contests encouraging German children to write in. One little girl wrote, “People are so bothered by the way we’re treating the Jews. RELIGIOUS FREEDOM: For the fifth time, the Supreme Court has rejected the Ninth Circuit’s analysis of California’s COVID restrictions on religious exercise. The latest ruling went 5-4 against a California COVID restriction on in-home religious gatherings.
Chief Justice John Roberts joined the three liberal justices’ dissent against the ruling, with Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett in the majority.
STUDENT LOANS: One of the radical Left’s stupid plans is to forgive college loans. But I don’t think we should deprive them of the educational opportunity to repay or suffer the consequences.
In addition, many commenters on the video asked pertinent questions. For example, can those who didn’t go to college get a big chunk of change to use toward advancing their economic and social status? Can those college grads who saved, worked, got scholarships, went to war, and/or took out loans they paid off get lump sums to apply to our mortgages, car loans, etc.? Can those veterans who didn’t use their entire, rightful GI bill education benefits get the balance due as a lump sum?
UK: Early Friday, Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth, passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle, the family’s residence in Berkshire, England. He was 99. The queen is 94.
WYOMING: On Monday, Gov. Mark Gordon [R] has signed a bill requiring residents to present photo ID before voting at a polling place or obtaining an absentee ballot. The bill allows as valid proof driver licenses, U.S. passports, tribal identification, university identification, U.S military identification and Medicare or Medicaid insurance cards.
This is the second state I’ve seen do this since Georgia, with no RAAACISM outcry from the loony left. Does anyone know why Georgia is different?

FIGHTING BACK: Finally! A story about an overly aggressive, COVID-Karen flight attendant that has a HAPPY ending! After the flight attendant called security, the people surrounding the family objected to her cruelty until, for reasons that aren’t clear, everyone got kicked off the plane. However, in the end, everyone got put back on the plane EXCEPT the COVID-Karen flight attendant. So yay!

PERSECUTION: In mid-February, 300 mask-less Christians gathered inside Grace Life Church in Edmonton, Alberta, to worship the Lord. A few days later, their pastor, James Coates, turned himself in to Canadian authorities for deliberately violating masking and capacity regulations.
The court denied bail, then stuck him in a maximum security prison to await sentencing. For 35 days, he was kept in his cell for up to 23 hours per day; his wife and kids were not allowed to visit. When he FINALLY got his day in court (complete with hand and ankle cuffs), he was sentenced to a $1,500 fine and one day in jail.
Before he was released, he was instructed not to pastor or preach ever again. Although he still faces another court date in May for a prior offense, he promptly held a Palm Sunday service. Despite the fact that other churches have violated the same health guidelines, their pastors have not been chained up and thrown into prison.
For some reason, the authorities in Alberta have really got it in for this congregation. On April 7, they raided Grace Life Church, then erected fencing all around, and have posted guards to prevent congregants from gathering “unlawfully” to worship God inside their own church.
At his May trial, the Alberta government will be forced to justify their decision to restrict worship. While governments in Canada may restrict freedoms, they must demonstrably justify these restrictions on the basis of evidence. Methinks the evidence doesn’t exist and that the whole thing is a Leftist attack on Christianity.
“PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS”: Now that they’ve got us all conditioned to do whatever we’re told for however long they decide, there is a NEW “public health crisis” that will REQUIRE us to disarm Americans. So said FAUXTUS on April 8.

Green was not previously known to law enforcement and the incident does not appear to have been terrorism-related.
COVID-19: On April 5, Fauci said that the federal government won’t mandate the usage of so-called vaccine passports for travel and businesses, after White House officials said the Biden administration is working with private firms to potentially advise on such a system.
Texas Gov. Abbott has signed an executive order barring state agencies or entities that receive public funds from requiring vaccine passports in order to receive goods or services, or to enter a building.
Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), told Fox News, “Proposals like these smack of 1940s Nazi Germany. We must make every effort to keep America from becoming a ‘show your papers society. The Constitution and our founding principles decry this type of totalitarianism.”

WOKE SPORTS: A new poll shows that about 11% of Americans who watch sports on television say they now watch more as a result of political and social messaging. However, 34.5% cite these as reasons why they are watching less.
The decline in sports viewership was especially pronounced among Republicans, of whom 53% now watch less.
