The media’s reaction was, as always, predictable. Rather than keep you in suspense, here’s the list and the ensuing fallout:

5. Washington Post FALSELY reported the President’s massive sold-out rally in Pensacola, Florida was empty. Dishonest reporter showed picture of empty arena HOURS before crowd started pouring in.
6. CNN FALSELY edited a video to make it appear President Trump defiantly overfed fish during a visit with the Japanese prime minister. Japanese prime minister actually led the way with the feeding.
7. CNN FALSELY reported about Anthony Scaramucci’s meeting with a Russian, but retracted it due to a “significant breakdown in process.”
8. Newsweek FALSELY reported that Polish First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda did not shake President Trump’s hand.
9. CNN FALSELY reported that former FBI Director James Comey would dispute President Trump’s claim that he was told he is not under investigation.
10. The New York Times FALSELY claimed on the front page that the Trump administration had hidden a climate report.
11. And last, but not least: “RUSSIA COLLUSION!” Russian collusion is perhaps the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people. THERE IS NO COLLUSION!

Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta was far from pleased after President Trump bestowed CNN with four “Fake News” awards Wednesday evening. Earlier in the discussion, Acosta defended against criticism for asking the President if he was a racist in relation to his “sh*thole” remarks.

White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson told reporters on Tuesday that President Trump is in “excellent” health and has “no cognitive or mental issues whatsoever.” But that didn’t stop the press corps from asking a lot of really stupid questions. Here’s a sampling.
1. One reporter asked the White House physician how Trump can become as fit as Obama — who struggled to kick a smoking habit. He then proceeded to whine that the press office doesn’t keep a tally of how much time Trump spends on the golf course and asked if Jackson could help them with that.

Let’s be clear: Leftists certainly object to the substance of Trump’s comments, that we shouldn’t continually absorb poor, unskilled, often functionally illiterate and unassimilable people from Third World nations. But they also object to his alleged style, labeling as obscene the use of s***hole (toilet) to describe such places. So to show us how bad such language is, the Crude News Network (CNN), for example, used it at least 36 times on Thursday. It’s sort of like inveighing against animal abuse and then bludgeoning dozens of dogs to death on air to prove your point.

Dems Think 800,000 Illegal Immigrants Are Worth Forcing Active Military To Go Without Pay
Congress has three days to strike a deal to keep the government funded through October. If members fail to come to an agreement by Jan. 19, all “non-essential” government employees and active U.S. Military personnel will be working with out pay (including troops currently deployed). Funding for agencies like federal museums or national parks will also be cut off.
Congressional Democrats are apparently content with allowing military and law enforcement personnel to go without pay to secure protections and benefits for illegal immigrants and members of their extended families.

Red-State Democrats Gamble
Importantly, three Democratic officials in states that went heavily for Trump in 2016 — Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly, West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin and Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill — were all absent. Sens. McCaskill and Manchin said they were not invited to the White House event.
Normally, the lawmakers who represent states that voted for the other party’s presidential nominee are the most bipartisan — even if it’s just to listen. Early on, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Sen. Donnelly hopped on a plane with Trump. But now that they’re in the heat of fundraising, they do not want any part of it.

Democrats Block 2018 Budget, Gain Another Month to Push Amnesty
Late Tuesday, the GOP gave up on 2018 budget talks and drafted a new temporary budget plan, dubbed a Continuing Resolution, which would keep the government open for another month until February 16. That date will mark almost five months after the 2018 budget was slated to begin October 1.
If the CR passes the House and Senate, the GOP and the Democrats will get another month to develop a 2018 budget while Democrats gain another month to wear down GOP and Trump opposition to their amnesty-plus plan.
Don’t fall for Operation Demoralize 2018
The key to Democrat victory in November 2018 is to keep Republican voters home.
WHEN THE DEMOCRATS FLIPPED A REPUBLICAN SEAT IN WISCONSIN LAST WEEK. THE DEMOCRAT TURNOUT WAS 35%… THE REPUBLICAN TURNOUT WAS 12%.
I would not be surprised to see that strategy used more generally against Trump supporting Republicans in the House. And it could be effective. Someone who normally would vote Republican but stays home is as good as a vote for Democrats.
So expect there to be a sustained effort to demoralize Republican voters, Trump supporters, and independents who are willing to vote Republican. That’s part of the reason Democrats and the media have shifted to round-the-clock accusations of racism against Trump. I have written about this phenomenon in the past. Trump schools GOP Congress to play hardball
Instead of rolling over for Democrats and virtuously claiming they’ve “reached across the aisle,” as they always have done, Republicans are now playing hardball. They’ve maneuvered to put entitlements and swing state-sensitive tax cuts on the line as bargaining chips to avoid a government shutdown. In doing this, they have just laid out a plan to beat the Democrats at their own game.
Do Democrats really want to face the 18 million parents whose nine million children use the CHIP program to explain that all that could come to an end because of the Democratic Party’s higher priority of amnestying 800,000 DREAMers? Do they really want to face the New England voters in the medical device industry, which has been singled out for punitive Obamacare taxes, or explain themselves to all the union workers set to pay massive Obamacare “Cadillac” taxes just for the “privilege” of having good health care insurance?
Voters don’t actually want Oprah to run for president
“Oprah’s strong standing among Democrats does not translate to a clear interest in her launching a presidential campaign,” said Kyle Dropp, co-founder and chief research officer of Morning Consult. “While 77 percent of Democrats have a favorable opinion of Oprah, only 38 percent say she should run in 2020.”
The “Oprah 2020” rumors were sparked earlier this month following her emotional speech at the Globes, in which she touched upon the Time’s Up and #MeToo movements sweeping the nation recently.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders announced Wednesday afternoon President Trump will speak to the March for Life in Washington D.C. on Friday. He is the first sitting president to do so. He will address the crowd live through a video conference.

Judge Upholds Alabama Voter ID Law In Win For Common Sense
A federal judge in Alabama has thrown out a lawsuit against the state’s voter ID law, finding that the law doesn’t prevent anyone from voting because “nearly the entire population of registered voters in Alabama already possess a photo ID that can be used for voting.”
For those who don’t, obtaining a qualifying ID can be done “with little to no effort and no cost.”

Pres. Trump to CNN’s Jim Acosta: ‘Out’
The veteran reporter along with other members of the press, were allowed inside the Oval Office during a meeting between Pres. Trump and Nursultan Nazarbayev the president of Kazakhstan.
When White House press aides started asking the press to leave, Acosta, whose contentious relationship with the Trump White House has been well-documented, tried to get in a few final questions.
“Did you say you want more people to come into the country from Norway, Mr. President?” Acosta asked.
“Thank you very much, everyone,” Trump responded.
Acosta asked the question again, to which Trump responded in a lower, softer voice, “I want people to come in from everywhere.”
“Just Caucasian or white countries, sir? Or do you want people to come in from other parts of the world…people of color?” Acosta asked.
The president pointed at Acosta and said: “Out.”
They need to look at revoking the White House press credentials of CNN’s Jim Acosta.

Acosta Suggests WH Doctor Could Be Withholding Information About Trump’s Health
CNN’s chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta asked Physician to the President Navy Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson if he was withholding negative information about the president’s health from reporters during Tuesday’s press briefing.
Jackson assured Acosta that there was no information about Trump’s health being withheld, negative or otherwise.
“I can promise there is nothing that I am withholding from you. I can tell you, I’ve done the last four or five of these,” Jackson replied. “I’ve been involved in probably the last six or seven of these and this is hands down more information that has been put forth by any other assessment to date.”
DHS Secretary Asks to Move on After Four Democrats Ask about Sh**hole Comments
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen expressed a desire to “move forward and discuss ways in which we can protect our country,” during her testimony before the Judiciary Committee Tuesday after being asked for the fourth time about vulgar language reportedly used in an immigration meeting last week with President Trump.
“At any point in that conversation on Thursday did the President of the United States use a four-letter word beginning with s in combination with other words or alone that you heard?” Sen. Blumenthal asked.
“Sir, respectfully, I have answered this,” she replied. “I’ve been very patient with this line of questioning. I’m here to tell you about the threats our country faces and the needs and authorities that are needed by the Department of Homeland Security. I have nothing further to say about a meeting that happened over a week ago. I’d like to move forward and discuss ways in which we can protect our country.”
Democrats: Trump must capitulate on DACA “to prove you’re not prejudiced or bigoted”
Trump denied using the term, and is backed up by Senators Tom Cotton and David Perdue, who were at the same meeting and dispute Durbin’s account.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was at that meeting also. She testified today before a Senate committee which included Durbin.
Durbin fell flat on his face when Nielsen testified she did not remember Trump using the “s***hole” word during the meeting, and that Trump did not have a “specific categorization of countries in Africa.”
NJ Senator Cory Booker then went ballistic, berating Nielsen and accusing her of lying, your “silence and amnesia is complicit.”
The questioning of Nielsen, and Booker’s theatrics, are part of a concerted Democrat effort to turn DACA into a racial issue if Democrats don’t get their way.
It’s all a charade that was laid bare by Chuck Schumer today, who demanded Trump get on board Democrat DACA demands or be labeled a racist:
“If you want to begin the long road back to prove you’re not prejudiced or bigoted, support the bipartisan compromise … One that was aimed at meeting the concerns you voiced,” Schumer said, noting it was negotiated by three Republicans and three Democrats. “This may be the last train leaving the station. President Trump needs to get on board.”

Journalists have long questioned the president’s mental health and fitness for office, but Dr. Jackson debunked any notion that Trump is unhealthy and called his mental health “excellent.”
However, reporters are still unwilling to accept that nothing is wrong with the president and have taken to Twitter to express their displeasure with Dr. Jackson’s assessment of Trump.
CNN’s Brian Stelter, who routinely talks about Trump’s fitness, wrote that Trump passing a cognitive exam has nothing to do with being “unfit.”

DC Mayor Addresses How High School Grads All Got Diplomas Without Meeting Requirements
An investigation by WAMU and NPR has found that Ballou High School’s administration graduated dozens of students despite high rates of unexcused absences. We reviewed hundreds of pages of Ballou’s attendance records, class rosters and emails after a district employee shared the private documents. Half of the graduates missed more than three months of school last year, unexcused. One in five students was absent more than present — missing more than 90 days of school.
To add insult to injury, the majority of Ballou’s 2017 graduates missed more than six weeks of school. One teacher recalls seeing kids in the 12th grade that couldn’t read and write.
Local viewers were skeptical and blasted the school system and D.C. leadership in the comment section.
“Dr. Reeves should be prosecuted,” one commenter said.
“Revoke every diploma of every student who failed to meet grad requirements,” another wrote. “Otherwise this is a cruel joke that will have a lasting impact on every DCPS graduate.”

West Virginia Legislators Propose Bill to Require the State’s Schools to Offer Bible Elective
West Virginia state legislators introduced a bill that would require the state’s schools to offer an elective course on Hebrew Scriptures, the Old Testament, or the New Testament in the Bible.
State Sens. Mike Azinger (R-Wood) and Sue Cline (R-Wyoming) submitted Senate Bill 252 to the West Virginia Senate Thursday for consideration, WOWK reported.

McSALLY IS A FORMER FIGHTER PILOT RUNNING FOR FLAKE’S SENATE SEAT
Major news outlets are already sounding the alarm about a possible government shutdown, assuming that a “clean” DACA bill is the hill that Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi want to die on this week.
This seems particularly true of Arizona Congresswoman (and newly announced Senate candidate) Martha McSally. She was making the rounds on cable news this week, letting the minority party know that they need to pack the “clean” bill idea away because it’s not gonna happen.
Fox News tweeted the video of that exchange for everyone yesterday.
This wasn’t a particularly new position for McSally, who has been solid on immigration issues from the beginning. She was also out with a similar warning during an interview last week, when it might have actually done some good had the Democrats been listening.

Military members will see their paychecks rise by the largest percent increase since 2010 this week.
At the end of December, President Donald Trump, by way of executive order, mandated a 2.4% pay hike for uniformed service members and a 1.9% raise for federal workers. The Trump administration’s initial budget blueprint called for a 2.1% pay increase, while the House and Senate suggested the 2.4% figure, which was eventually adopted by the president.

Kentucky has just received approval from the Trump administration to implement their work requirements, which mirror their requirements for food stamps. There are 650,000 Medicaid beneficiaries in Kentucky. Many of these individuals do not have any earned income and do not work at all. Under the new requirements, these beneficiaries will have to either work, train, or volunteer for 20 hours a week in order to receive benefits.
According to research from the Foundation for Government Accountability, the number of Medicaid beneficiaries has more than doubled since 2000. Now 75 million are enrolled in the program, which includes 28 million able-bodied adults. In addition, 52 percent of Medicaid beneficiaries that are able-bodied do not work.

The editorial was in response to Trump reportedly asking why America takes in so many immigrants from “shithole” countries instead of places like Norway. “Where to begin?” the Times’ editorial board collectively sighed when reflecting on Trump’s statement. “How about with a simple observation: The president of the United States is a racist.”

House Democrats Maxine Waters and John Lewis will skip President Trump’s first State of the Union address because they’re furious that he allegedly called some impoverished, crime-riddled African nations “sh*tholes.”
“I don’t trust him, I don’t appreciate him, and I wouldn’t waste my time listening to what he has to say,” Waters fumed to MSNBC. “He does not deserve my attention.”
At this point, it really makes no difference that Waters, 79, and Lewis, 77, continue to flout their duties by skipping presidential addresses and meetings. President Trump is moving along with his agenda despite widespread Democratic obstruction.

CNN declared that MLK was an “environmental hero” and a socialist, “before it was cool,” in a tweet Monday morning.
The tweet was sent from the main CNN account with almost 40 million followers. The adjoining article in the tweet was entitled ‘Three ways MLK speaks to our time’ and features a breakdown of MLK’s relevance in today’s political climate.
The article describes how some historians classify MLK as a socialist, and goes on to make the case that socialism is very hip these days for youths who “are developing a distrust of capitalism.”

Media Temper Tantrums
The left-wing Democrat propaganda machine was used to meek, compliant Republicans whom they would invite on their crappy shows and mistreat terribly, and the victim would say nothing. Those were good times for them.
But then something happened that they were totally unprepared for. A man got elected president who was not of the DC swamp; they didn’t make him and they can’t destroy him.
When he had a successful reality show, they all loved him. That changed the minute he declared as a Republican. Ironically, they helped him with his campaign because they thought he’d be a running joke for them to make fun of. Then real reality whacked them all upside the head.
They have maintained a vicious, nonstop assault on that man, the likes of which is unprecedented. He can’t be rattled, can’t be thrown off his game. He looks for these characteristics in his spokespeople. If you’re not tough, the press will eat you alive. They love to dish it out but definitely can’t take it.
Case in point: Jake Tapper got into it with Trump spokesman Stephen Miller. Like a spoiled child, when Tapper was getting his lunch eaten, he threw a hissy fit and ended the interview abruptly.

Obviously angry and over-matched, even as Miller was talking, Tapper abruptly ended the interview with…

While Ann Coulter is correct that it was actually Tapper who was playing to an audience of one — his Svengali Jeff Zucker — hats off to Miller, who brilliantly pressured Tapper to a point where the mask slipped more than just a little.
As we saw on Election Night, when the pressure is on, Tapper reveals his true left-wing self, and it is never pretty:

CNN Claims They Had To Force Stephen Miller To Leave After Heated Interview With Jake Tapper
White House policy advisor Stephen Miller was cut off during his interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday after an intense back-and-forth led to Tapper ending the segment. Now CNN claims that they had to escort Miller out of the building.
A CNN official told the Washington Examiner that Miller was supposedly asked “politely” to leave the set of “State of the Union” multiple times, but he ignored CNN’s requests. In response, the network called security to escort him out.
This is not the first time that Miller has gotten into it with CNN. In August, Miller took on CNN’s Jim Acosta during a White House press conference while speaking on immigration, pointing out his “cosmopolitan bias” and hammering Acosta for his lack of knowledge on the subject.

An Obama-era plan to have the federal government finance half of a $13 billion rail tunnel project ran into a red light Friday from the Trump administration.
The original Obama-era plan called for costs to be split among New York state, New Jersey and the federal government.
But in a letter Friday, the Trump administration notified New York and New Jersey that the Obama-era deal was now “non-existent” because the states recently requested that their portions be covered by loans from the federal government — meaning Washington would supply all of the initial funding for what the Trump White House is calling “a local project.”

CNN reporter Randi Kaye, sporting large marijuana leaf styled earrings, lit a bong for a pot smoker during a live report from Denver broadcast on CNN’s New Year’s Eve show Sunday night that was hosted from Times Square by Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. Kaye was also seen several times holding lit joints on air.

“Iranian authorities are blocking access to Telegram for the majority of Iranians after our public refusal to shut down … peacefully protesting channels,” Telegram CEO Pavel Durov wrote on Twitter.
Tehran claimed that social media censorship was necessary to maintain public safety.
“With a decision by the Supreme National Security Council, activities of Telegram and Instagram are temporarily limited,” according to a statement on Iranian state TV.
