Gallup has Obama’s overall approval at 39%,despite the media’s herculean effort to cover for him.It took an all-out assault for eight solid years for the media to drive Bush’s numbers that low.Rasmussen has O’s Strongly Approve/disapprove numbers at -22 for five straight days.I would vote for Perry,Romney if I had to,but the bottom line is we must cut out the cancer which has infected our country.

Summary
This study assesses the Reagan supply-side policies by comparing the nation’s economic performance in the Reagan years (1981-89) with its performance in the immediately preceding Ford-Carter years(1974-81) and in the Bush-Clinton years that followed (1989-95).
On 8 of the 10 key economic variables examined, the American economy performed better during the Reagan years than during the pre- and post-Reagan years.
This study also exposes 12 fables of Reaganomics, such as that the rich got richer and the poor got poorer, the Reagan tax cuts caused the deficit to explode, and Bill Clinton’s economic record has been better than Reagan’s.

We had a second severe storm in 3 weeks here Wednesday night.Our power went out about 9:30PM and didn’t come back on until late last night.After my first real cup of coffee and a hot shower I jumped on to see what was going on. Ironically,the Rockford City Council had a meeting with ComEd people to ask why it took 3 days for some residents to get their power restored.
PS-ComEd raised their rates 30% 2 months ago to finance their new ‘smart grid.’They said it would save customers money in “the long run”.Trust us,heh heh.
