2A: As soon as SCOTUS knocked down New York’s ridiculous handgun licensing law, New York lawmakers passed a variation on the theme. SCOTUS ruled that most people have a right to carry a handgun for personal protection.

So my sucky state legislators/governor decided that New Yorkers applying for a handgun license had to not only demonstrate they had “the essential character, temperament, and judgment necessary to be entrusted with a weapon and to use it only in a manner that does not endanger oneself and others,” but also had to turn over a three year list of social media activity so officials could verify their “character and conduct.”

The law also banned concealed carry in such a wide array of places that it virtually meant concealed carry was impossible outside your own home. Anyway, a federal judge just blocked both parts of the law. New York has three days to appeal.

2016 vs. 2020: [11:00] – “When Republican candidates for office claim that the election is stolen or that the winner is illegitimate, it constitutes ‘inciting an insurrection’ and the candidate should know it. But Democratic Party candidates for public elective office are perfectly entitled to claim the election was stolen or that the winner is illegitimate or to make any other outrageous claim they can, it is their right to do so. And it is their absolute right to do so irrespective of whether there’s any evidence to support the claim. Democratic candidates can claim an election was stolen because of Russian collusion without any explanation at all. And that is perfectly okay and is in no way incitement to an insurrection. And somehow, when Democratic candidates public decry an election as ‘stolen’ or ‘illegitimate’, it’s never a ‘big lie.’ You’ve been doing it for years.”

BORDER: During his mayoral campaign, Eric Adams pledged to keep New York City a “sanctuary city” for illegal migrants. That is, a place where the local authorities were forbidden to cooperate with immigration agents in enforcing immigration laws. He said then, “This city has always been a sanctuary city [for those wanting] to come to New York City to pursue the American dream.”

It’s really rich to hear him say, “We have not asked for this. There was never any agreement to take on the job of supporting thousands of asylum seekers.” Yeah, y’all absolutely did … with every vote y’alls cast to put Democrats into Congress.

In peak months, 17,000 illegals have swarmed into Texas every three to four days. When Texas complained, Dems called them RAAACISTS.

PAYPAL: If you have an account, empty it! The company issued a new policy by which users agreed that they could fine you $2,500 if they decided you had spread “misinformation.” Since the backlash struck, they have said it was just a boo boo … “an AUP notice [that] went out in error.” Translation: We thought nobody actually read policy updates.

ROSARY COAST TO COAST: At 4:00 pm today, please join us in praying the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary for the conversion of the United States to faith in God; for respect for life at all stages of development, especially the unborn; for the sanctity of marriage and families based upon God’s creation of man and woman; for upholding constitutionally protected religious freedom; and the return of our nation to God and Holiness.

S&G: A federal judge in Texas has ruled that the federal government can not impose pronouns and unisex bathrooms on employers.

Dowsing

Once upon a long time ago, I was in my dentist’s chair, with my mouth hanging open waiting for something to dry, when I thought to use the time to pray for the office and everyone in it. Among the prayers, I did a binding of evil spirits.

Later, when I was at the receptionist’s desk, writing my check, a tech came out from the back and handed the receptionist something. She said to the young woman, “What happened?” Reply, “Nothing. It didn’t work.

I asked what it was about and she showed me the object, which was a silver-colored metal plumb on a chain, similar to the one in the photo above. She said, “Dowsing. You hold it over the patient and ask a question. It swings one way for yes and the other way for no.

I wonder now if I should have taken the opportunity to evangelize, but at the time, I just thought to myself, “Of course it didn’t work. I bound the demon running it.”

I heard a similar story from a Christian minister whose class mates at seminary had gotten into doing séances. He went once and did silent binding as he watched. They wouldn’t let him come again, because nothing happened when he was there.

I encourage you all to memorize a binding prayer; there are a bunch to choose from at the link below. Use it daily. Demons are like germs; they’re always around, so binding them is no more paranoid than flossing or brushing.

Pacha Papa

On October 4, 2019, the Catholic Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, Pope Francis hosted a pagan ceremony in the Vatican garden during which a priestess offered gifts and prayers to “Pachamama”, an Amazonian goddess who is not only still revered by the indigenous peoples of the Andes, but is considered by them to be higher than Jesus Himself. Pagan priests not only sacrifice animals to her, but also children.

CLICK https://twitter.com/RaymondArroyo/status/1187499669653544962 [1:11] to hear Cardinal Gerhard Müller condemn bringing these “idols” into the Church as a “crime against the law of God.”

The pope claimed he had “no idolatrous intention” in bringing the statues to the Vatican. It’s hard to see how he could say that, given all that went on at the October 4, 2019, garden ceremony. According to one account, “The mumbo-jumbo started with a dance around a blanket. … In the middle of the blanket were the statues of two naked woman and a statue of a man with an erection. A female shaman, with feathers in her hair, lifted her hands for some kind of invocation while sixteen concelebrants knelt and bowed around the blanket. Finally, the shaman shook a rattle.”

In the photo above, it looks to me as if at least one of the butt-in-air acolytes is a Franciscan. And Pope Francis was definitely sitting nearby surrounded by cardinals. A few days later, on the Feast of the Holy Rosary, the naked, pregnant goddess was brought into St. Peter’s Basilica where people, including nuns, priests, bishops and cardinals chanted to it. Afterwards, bishops processed with the idol in her canoe on their shoulders. What an insult to Our Lady!

On Sunday, October 27, 2019, a representative of the indigenous people of Brazil carried a bowl containing dirt, plants, and red flowers in the offertory procession and presented it to Pope Francis who had it placed on the altar for the closing Mass of the Amazon Synod in St. Peter’s Basilica. It remained there throughout the consecration and was still there after all of the celebrants had left the church.

Placing the bowl on the altar was in clear violation of directives the pope should certainly know by heart!

General Instruction of the Roman Missal, Paragraph 73 states: “At the beginning of the Liturgy of the Eucharist the gifts, which will become Christ’s Body and Blood, are brought to the altar. … They are then accepted at an appropriate place by the priest or the deacon and carried to the altar. … It is well also that money or other gifts for the poor or for the Church, brought by the faithful or collected in the church, should be received. These are to be put in a suitable place but away from the Eucharistic table.” –

As for the bowl itself, it seems that dirt, plants and flowers are ritual elements in Pachamama worship. Moreover, the Pacha loves red. It’s her favorite color. The bowl also appears to have had a Pachmama symbol painted on or carved into it. It also appears to have been the same bowl that was offered up to Pachamama by a “priestess” during the October 4 pagan ceremony in the Vatican Gardens. So it seems that, while the carved idols were not brought to the Mass (some bishops said they wouldn’t come if they were), an offering to them was. And it was placed on the altar and left there throughout the consecration!

Some are calling the events of October 2019 a type of “abomination of desolation.” I’d say so! And the timing of it is damning. COVID-19 led to church closings and severe restrictions on the Sacraments, all with Pope Francis’ collaboration and approval. And the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported on November 17, 2019, less than three weeks after the October 27 Mass. And that man was probably not Patient Zero. Given that the incubation period (from exposure to symptoms) for the original strain of the virus ranged from two to 14 days, the appearance of the first cases in November puts the leak of the virus suspiciously close to the whole “Pachamama in the Vatican” thing!

Besides closing churches, Pope Francis made the extraordinary decision to reject both his papal name and the historic titles associated with the Chair of Peter. In April 2020, when the annual Vatican directory came out, he was listed only as “Jorge Mario Bergoglio.”

On October 16, 2020, on the Feast of St. Gerard Majella (the patron of expectant mothers!), the Vatican City State Mint issued a 10-euro Pachamama coin.

Then on March 22, 2021, the Vatican imposed a ban on all private Masses in St. Peter’s Basilica. In the past, the 45 altars and 11 chapels in St. Peter’s Basilica were used by dozens and dozens of priests to celebrate their daily Masses. Now, only five Masses per day are permitted, all in Italian, and the lines are 1 to 3 hours long to get in. Absurdly, the website says, “St. Peter’s Basilica functions as an active parish for local Romans.” Yeah, right. Cuz so many Catholics stand in line for hours to get into their parish churches for Mass! /sarc

Jorge Bergoglio has done a lot more to destroy the Roman Catholic Church, but this has gotten long. I just want to end by saying that I find it sickeningly ironic that Jorge Bergoglio took the name of Francis when he was elected to the papacy, then inaugurated the “abomination of desolation” on the great saint’s feast day. In the 13th century, when the man who is now known as St. Francis of Assisi was praying to know God’s meaning and purpose for his life, Jesus spoke to him saying, “Francis, go rebuild My house; as you see, it is all being destroyed.”

A Priest Tells Seven Rosary Stories

Fr. Goyo Hidalgo posted the following.

The Rosary has been a very central part of my life and it will always be. Here are some stories of my life involving the Rosary:

1) When I was 5, I wanted to run from home (I don’t remember why). My mother helped me pack (I don’t know why). The first thing she gave me was a rosary. I told her I didn’t know how to pray. She then taught me and I think that after the second decade, I decided to stay. I still have that OLD rosary. (Photo)

2) I learned to pray the Rosary with my Mom. (She used to trick me and my friends with chocolate). But I remember most praying the Rosary with my father while we walked through my quiet small town at night, even when he was tired. Fathers, pray with your kids. They will never forget.

3) When I came back to the Church, I called my Mom. After five minutes on the phone, she asked, “Do you remember how to pray the Rosary?” I said, “I forgot.” She said, “Okay, let’s pray it now.” And we both prayed over the phone. It was the beginning of my Prodigal Son story.

4) On the streets, hands behind my back with rosary, I hear someone. I don’t pray now, but when I was young I used to pray with my father like that. Pray for me?” Me: “Wanna walk with me and pray?” And we did.

[CtH: I need a tissue!]

5) During Quarantine. After Mass, I walked around the streets praying the Rosary for neighbors and parishioners (like I used to do with my dad when I was little). A woman smiled from her window and showed me her rosary too. It feels amazing to be united in prayer. We are not alone. Be not afraid. Mary always walks with us.

6. Everyday I see this couple holding a rosary and praying together in the parking lot. I love praying the Rosary everyday, but some days are so crazy that my time goes fast and I almost forget. Watching them helps me stop and pray. Be a reminder for others of what prayer looks like.

7) As I was walking-praying my Rosary in our parking lot, a homeless guy started screaming at me. I kept on walking. On my way back home, he ran towards me and said, “I am so sorry. I didn’t see you were praying the Rosary. Pray for me.Yup. The Rosary is the best weapon.

COVID-19: California Gov. Newsome (D) signed a bill into law on Friday that will allow the state’s medical board to punish doctors for spreading “misinformation.” CLICK https://twitter.com/P_McCulloughMD/status/1566960554899644417 [2:38] to hear Dr. Drew explain what it means. Personally, I would qualify his statement that the ‘rona vaxxxes are “similar” to flu vaccines as BAD information. Killed virus vaccines are not the same as the mRNA poison jabs at all.

CLIMATE: During a World Economic Forum (WEF) panel discussion on disinformation, the U.N. Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications said of their efforts to police social media content, “We’re becoming much more proactive. We own the science, and we think that the world should know it.”

DOJ: CINO Joe’s Justice Department sent out more armed officers to round up more of those dangerous, (totally peaceful) pro-lifers. Meanwhile, they’re doing zip, zero, nada about the Catholic and Crisis Pregnancy facilities that have been vandalized every week since Roe was overturned.

ECONOMY: Under Bush, the national debt increased by about $620 billion per year. While campaigning, Obama said that was Totally Unacceptable, then as soon as he and his Dem majority got in power, they bumped it up to about $1.25 trillion per year. Under Biden and another Dem majority, it has again increased, this time to about $1.5 trillion per year.

FAUXTUS: Joe Biden is a genuinely privileged, pasty-white boy who has gotten rich because of his daddy’s political machine. But being a Democrat, he has to “relate” to all the various victim groups they pander to during election times and then ignore after they get elected, cuz they’re so busy lining their own pockets with taxpayers’ money.

Tweeters have come up with some good ones: “It’s pandermonium!”

Happy Yom Kwanzaa de Mayo from me to you!”

Next LGBTQ+ event: ‘I used to be a woman.’”

Also, he was in the top of his class in law school while driving a semi truck to his classes at the Naval Academy.”

FBI: Peter Strzok’s blistering and well-deserved 2018 dismissal letter was published this week. Signed by the then-Deputy Director, it refers to “the long term damage” Strzok’s “personal bias,” “repeated selfishness,” and “sustained pattern of bad judgment” did “to the reputation of the FBI … which will take years to overcome.” Ouch. And totally deserved.

FLORIDA: Pine Tree Island Bridge was rebuilt in THREE DAYS. It’s making the Left nuts that “DeathSantis” is doing an awesome job so they’re busy making fun of his rubber boots. Cuz yeah, nothing is more redunkulus than a guy wearing rubber boots to inspect flood damage. ::smh::

IRS: Five former and current employees of the IRS have been charged with fraudulently obtaining ‘rona relief funds that they used for luxury goods, cars, and travel.

MILITARY: The US Army fell behind in their recruiting goals by 25% this year. They’re so desperate, they’re now admitting recruits that had been rejected or delayed in the past.

OKLAHOMA: Gov. Stitt has signed into law to prevent Oklahoma Children’s Hospital from issuing puberty blockers or doing sex-change surgery on minors. He is working on a bill that would ban the practice statewide.

UK: This Catholic mother of five was making dinner when Surrey Police forced their way into the home to arrest her for her allegedly “malicious” online posts. She was previously the subject of a five-month police investigation in 2019 after she was accused of calling a transgender woman a ‘he’ on Twitter.

Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary

On October 7, the Roman Catholic Church celebrates the yearly feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. Previously known as the Feast of Our Lady of Victory, the feast day marks the 16th century naval victory at Lepanto near the west coast of Greece on October 7, 1571. Catholic crew members on more than 200 ships prayed the Rosary in preparation for the battle in union with Catholics through Europe. The defeat of the Ottoman Turks ended the Muslim expansion into the Mediterranean.

ELECTION TAMPERING: In 2021, an election worker tallying votes on paper realized that hundreds of ballots removed from a Dominion’s Image Cast Precinct (ICP) tabulator did not get counted, despite the fact that said tabulator never signaled that a problem had occurred.

Further investigation showed seven of the 18 tabulators used in that election had miscounted hundreds of ballots. The State of Tennessee, the EAC, and the two accredited entities that test voting machines (Pro V&V and SLI Compliance) investigated and were able to repeat the problem, but not find the root cause. So they called in Dominion Voting Systems and determined it was due to “erroneous code” but had no idea how it could have gotten into the system after the software had been certified.

And now, the same problem has been found in 64 out of 66 machines used in Georgia in 2020 and 2021 elections.

Meanwhile, Fulton County, Pennsylvania has filed a lawsuit against Dominion Voting Systems for “breach of contract” after an investigation by Wake Technology Services of West Chester, PA, found numerous significant issues with the machines. These included ballot scanning errors, non-certified database tools installed on the system (!), and log files showing an external IP address had accessed the machines and that an unauthorized “python script” had been installed after the certification date. The latter two significant breaches showed up on the same machines.

FAUXTUS: The old fool is going to release 10 million more barrels of oil from our Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to bring gas prices down a few cents and try to get a few Dems elected in November. This will bring our SPR down to levels not seen since 2010, when Obama did the same damn thing.

The SPR is for emergencies, but Dems, being Dems, figure other people’s resources have only one function – i.e., buy them votes. So he shut down the XL pipeline and is draining our reserves. I’m thinking it’s all a deliberate effort on the part of the Anti-Christ to ensure that, when war breaks out, we’ll be helpless.

FIRST LADY: After airing 10 episodes that got awful reviews, Showtime has canceled plans for a second season. The series may have garnered Emmy nominations from whoever it is that decides such things, but it only had a 43% critics rating and a 44% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes. I need to remind myself that schadenfreude is a sin.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD: CLICK https://twitter.com/EITC_Official/status/1576967937407057921 [1:29] to see how PP is working to make up income they’re losing because Roe is no more. This is truly evil. Puberty blockers prevent maturation of eggs and sperm, which means sterility. The snake oil salesmen pimping gender transitioning to minors tell the moms and dads that they must get their kids these “treatments” or they’ll off themselves. But the drug company literature lists “increased depression and thoughts of suicide” as common side effects of the drugs, which I’m guessing said salesmen do not point out to the moms and dads.

CLIMATE: They say that 536 CE was the worst year to be alive. Famine was widespread during what has proven to be the coldest year in the last 2300 years. It also inflicted a lot of weird weather on folks around the world. Historians don’t agree on the cause, but we can fershure rule out human fossil fuels!

MEDIA: Two days ago, The New York Slime published a highly slanted piece about a stoopid conspiracy theory that right-wingers in tinfoil hats had about the CEO of a small American election software company named Konnech. But even more deadly is the eternal damage it does to your soul.

The Feast of Divine Mercy and Yom Kippur

St. Faustina Kowalska (1905-1938) was a simple, uneducated nun from Poland who received numerous messages from Jesus about His Divine Mercy. Jesus called her “the secretary of My mercy” and asked that the image (above) be painted.

He also told her, “I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My Merciful Heart” (Diary, 1588).

Through her, Jesus promised us, “Souls who spread the honor of My mercy I shield through their entire lives as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Savior” (Diary, 1075).

This year, the Feast of St. Faustina coincides with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement when Jews mark the day God forgave the Hebrews of the Exodus for their sinful creation and worship of a golden calf. The similarity of the themes of Yom Kippur and Divine Mercy are striking.

This annual fast day is the highest of holy days in the Jewish calendar. The Chabad web page says, “For the duration of Yom Kippur, we are elevated to an angelic state, one with G-d, each other, and ourselves. At its conclusion, we are confident that our shortcomings have been forgiven by G-d, just as we have forgiven our fellows.”
