The queen of organized crime had vowed to soften her campaign rhetoric. Apparently the gutter is a difficult place to crawl out of once you get used to the view and the smell.
Clinton: Half Of Trump Supporters Fall Into “Basket Of Deplorables”
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton attacked supporters of her rival Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, saying half of them are deplorable, irredeemable and ‘not America’ among other slurs in remarks Clinton made at a high dollar fundraiser held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City that featured Barbra Streisand as the entertainment. With tickets as high as $250,000, a reported $6 million was raised.

Hillary Clinton told an audience of donors Friday night that half of Donald Trump’s supporters fall into “the basket of deplorables,” meaning people who were racist, sexist, homophobic or xenophobic.
“To just be grossly generalistic, you can put half of Trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,” Clinton said. “Right? Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it.”
She added, “And unfortunately, there are people like that and he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric.”
Clinton went on to say that some of these people were “irredeemable” and “not America.”

At the Base of Trump’s Support
If you drive anywhere in Pennsylvania, from the turnpike to the old U.S. routes to the dirt roads connecting small towns like Hooversville with “bigger” small towns like Somerset, you might conclude that Donald Trump is ahead in this state by double digits.
It’s as if people here have not turned on the television to hear pundits drone on and on about how badly Trump is losing in Pennsylvania.
Thirty years ago, such people determined the country’s standards in entertainment, music, food, clothing, politics, personal values. Today, they are the people who are accused of creating every social injustice imaginable; when anything in society fails, they get blamed.
The places where they live lack economic opportunities for the next generation; they know their children and grandchildren will never experience the comfortable situations they had growing up — surrounded by family who lived next door, able to find a great job without going to college, both common traits among many successful small-business owners in the state.
These Trump supporters are not the kind you find on Twitter saying dumb or racist things; many of them don’t have the time or the patience to engage in social media because they are too busy working and living life in real time.

SHE MUST BE SO SURE OF VICTORY SHE FEELS SHE CAN INSULT HALF THE COUNTRY AND STILL WIN.

R We Still Here?

First off, thanks to you all for your thoughts and prayers. My wife had her parathyroidectomy (who needs spell check?) on Tuesday. Including pre-op and recovery we were there almost nine hours. My stepdaughter came to town to go with us. If she hadn’t my wife’s BFF would have gone and I promise you I’d have ended up choking her because she’s just that annoying. My stepdaughter has been a teacher for almost 15 years. She complains about the shortfall in their pension fund and I tried to explain the democrats have run this state for 50 years and THEY were the ones who spent the money that was supposed to go into teachers’ pensions. They get no social security. I tried to explain to her that democrats are sociopaths who spend every dollar they can lay hands on and more.

In a classic case of role reversal I have been tending to my sick honey’s every need. Since she can’t yell, I gave her a brass cowbell to page me. I’ve regretted that decision on occasion. It’s a little challenging making things she can eat until her throat heals.

Ever since the idiots cut my cable by mistake I’ve had nothing but problems. Pages load slowly or not at all. It’s maddening to click on a link and wait 5 minutes for the page to load or reload. My tech guy brought a new Dell tower over yesterday. It has twice the RAM, dual processors and is more powerful than my old Univac 2000. Had the same troubles this morning. I can’t access my wife’s Facebook page. It won’t accept her password or the security code they sent to her e-mail, so she’s locked completely out. I called Comcast and they couldn’t get a signal from my modem. My tech guy has the same issue with the new Chinese modems Comcast is pushing on customers. I tried to get them to send a new modem, but they insisted sending one of their flying monkeys Monday. You never, ever get a service call the same day. All my old bookmarked links were wiped out when I changed CPUs, so I’m starting over again. Just some stuff for the weekend.

Relatives Upset Over Pic Of White Birmingham Police Officer Holding A Black Two-Month Old Baby While Her Parents Are Overdosing

The picture shows Birmingham police officer Michelle Burton holding a baby whose parents had just overdosed. The father died and the mother is still in the hospital. Officer Burton ended up staying with the baby and her three siblings for more than six hours following the incident.
However, family members of the baby shown in the picture were not happy.
Mary Purnell Adalane, the aunt of the baby in the picture, spoke out at the Birmingham City Council meeting Tuesday. She said she and other family members felt like the baby, who’s just shy of two months old, was “exploited.”

Longtime Conservative Activist Phyllis Schlafly Dead At 92

Phyllis Schlafly, the iconic pro-family activist who rose to fame in the 1970s when she campaigned against the Equal Rights Amendment, has died at age 92, according to the Eagle Forum, the conservative organization she founded.
Schlafly had been activist since the early Cold War era, but gained national prominence by leading traditional-religious women in the movement against the Equal Rights Amendment. President Reagan praised her campaign against ERA as “brilliant” and called Schalfly “an example to all those who would struggle for an America that is prosperous and free.”



Ann Coulter on Phyllis Schlafly, ‘The Sweetheart of the Silent Majority’

Schlafly has written or co-written more than 20 books, on military policy, education, legal and social issues. Her first book, “A Choice, Not an Echo,” is credited with winning Barry Goldwater the Republican nomination for president and inspiring the conservative movement that eventually led to Ronald Reagan’s presidency. Her military work was a major factor in Reagan’s’ decision to proceed with High Frontier technology.

Hugh O’Brian, Star of TV’s ‘The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp,’ Dies at 91

Hugh O’Brian, who starred in the long-running series “The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp,” died Monday. He was 91.
The actor died peacefully in his Beverly Hills home, according to a statement from Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership.
ABC Western “The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp,” in which the exceedingly handsome, muscular O’Brian starred as the title character, ran for 221 episodes from 1955-61. At the time he was one of television’s great male sex symbols.
The actor had appeared in many feature Westerns by the time ABC cast him in its series as Wyatt Earp, a lawman who was one of the legends of the Old West.
Later he appeared in features including the 1963 comedy “Come Fly With Me”; in 1965, he starred in the feature “Agatha Christie’s Ten Little Indians” along with Shirley Eaton and Fabian and had an uncredited role in Otto Preminger’s World War II drama “In Harm’s Way,” starring John Wayne, Patricia Neal and Kirk Douglas.
In 1972-73 he starred with Doug McClure, Anthony Franciosa and Burgess Meredith in the NBC series “Search.”
O’Brian had a small role in John Wayne’s last film, Don Siegel’s “The Shootist” (1976), as the last character ever killed by Wayne on screen — O’Brian, a good friend of Wayne’s, considered a great honor.

Labor Day – Burgers, Brats and Bolshevism

In 1882 a couple of socialist cats named Matthew Maguire and Peter McGuire, both members of the Socialist Labor Party, proposed an official workers’ holiday in New York to be called “Labor Day.” Both men were also active in their respective labor unions, with Maguire belonging to the International Association of Machinists and Peter McGuire general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and co-founder of the American Federation of Labor. (Busy little pinkos, weren’t they?)
As the popularity of New York’s Labor Day gained momentum in urban centers across the U.S., President Grover Cleveland (yes, a Democrat) signed legislation in June of 1894 declaring Labor Day a national holiday to be held, like New York’s own, the first Monday of every September.
He was not re-elected.

Kudos to those who have managed to remain gainfully employed in spite of Exalted Ruler’s best efforts to draw deep divisions between the haves (them) and the have-nots (us). The press never mentions that the GDP has not seen 3% growth in the 8 years he’s been dismantling the country. Right now it’s growing at an anemic 1-1/2%. Not even during the depths of the Great Depression has economic growth been that slow. He crows about “56 straight months of job gains.” His economy adds 100,000 new minimum wage jobs while 400,000 good-paying full-time jobs disappear. His Obamacare mandates have played a huge role in reducing the work force as employers cut hours to avoid Dear Reader’s onerous taxes.

Record High Number of Foreign-Born Workers Employed in U.S.
Number of native-born workers declined over the month

Last month was the first time that the number of foreign-born workers exceeded 26 million. There were 25,984,000 foreign-born workers who had a job in July, and in August that number jumped to 26,134,000, an increase of 240,000.
According to the bureau, a foreign-born person is one who resides in the United States but who was born outside the country. Undocumented immigrants and refugees may be included in the data set, since the bureau does not distinguish between legal and illegal immigrants.
There were 126,453,000 native-born workers employed in July, and in August, that number dropped to 125,670,000, a one-month decline of 783,000.
The unemployment rate for foreign-born workers is also lower for foreign-born workers. In August, the unemployment rate was 4.4 percent for foreign-born workers and 5.1 percent for native-born workers.

Reuters was reportedly the only news service to be providing video coverage of Donald Trump’s visit to a Detroit church on Saturday, and a mystery voice could be overheard ordering someone to “shut down” the feed before the event had concluded.

Bishop Wayne T. Jackson was presenting Trump with a prayer shawl and two Bibles when a hushed voice off camera could be heard saying, “I’m shooting this, I don’t care what…”

NBC’s Lester Holt, Fox News’s Chris Wallace, CNN’s Anderson Cooper and ABC’s Martha Raddatz have been named as this fall’s presidential debate moderators.
The first debate on Sept. 26 will take place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY and will be moderated by Holt. The second debate will be held on Oct. 9 in St. Louis, MO, and will be co-moderated by Raddatz and Cooper. The third and final duel between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will be on Oct. 19 at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, moderated by Wallace.

Old Fat White Man Plays the Blues

The blues came out of the South at a time when there was real racism. Segregation, discrimination perpetrated by democrats who inflicted misery on poor blacks. The children of slaves and sharecroppers let their feelings out through their music. It was the root of what was to become rock-a-billy and, later, rock and roll. The artists of the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s were heavily influenced by this uniquely American sound. They didn’t make the millions musicians that make it to the top do now. They just did it because it was all they had. Beats the hell out of the garbage they call “rap music” today. Blecchhh. These are some of my favorite blues songs. Some are original, some are covers by later artists. In full disclosure, I sang a couple of these. Ego is not necessarily a bad thing.

It was stated by me yesterday that Juan McAmnesty would win handily…he did.
Marco Rubio also won the republican senate candidacy.
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, despite being fired as head of the DNC for rigging the primaries for Hillary defeated the DNC’s challenger. She is fortunate democrat voters hold their people to no moral or ethical standard.
The only bright spot yesterday was that the pile of slime known as Alan Grayson lost his bid to become the democrat candidate for the Senate from Florida.
Incumbents are extremely difficult to defeat since they bend the laws to protect themselves. That’s why you have some that squat in DC for 30, 40, 50 years. Very few, if any, that serve more than 2 terms leave without becoming multi-millionaires. Why else would somebody spend millions to get elected to a job that pays $171,000? It’s good work if you can get it.
