COVID-19 Update

On Thursday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) again grilled Dr. Anthony Fauci over his refusal to admit the National Institutes of Health (NIH) was funding gain-of-function research. He pointed out that the NIH changed the definition of “gain-of-function” on its website, saying they had done so “to try to cover your ass.” The video of the fiery exchange is embedded at the Breitbart link below.

According to a Hill-HarrisX survey conducted Oct. 26-27, 52% of registered voters polled said “Fauci should resign”, up ten points from the June 17-18 survey. Correspondingly, the “Fauci should not resign” response was down ten points from June, 58% then to 48% now.

Biden’s OSHA has issued a regulation requiring everyone who works at a company with 100 or more employees to get the vaxxx by Jan. 4 or to agree to be tested for the virus weekly. Those who choose testing will be forced to pay for the tests and to wear masks at all times.

The 17 million people who work in nursing homes, hospitals and other facilities that receive money from Medicare and Medicaid will have no testing option. There also does not appear to be any wiggle room for natural immunity or medical or religious exemptions.

OSHA is threatening companies that fail to comply with penalties of nearly $14,000 per violation. But several Republican senators, led by Sen. Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-KS), sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) pledging to block any funding for enforcing this coercive, immoral, illegal, and unconstitutional mandate.

In addition, Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) says he plans to lead Senate Republicans in using the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to nullify the OSHA rule. The CRA allows Congress to block any executive branch rule with only a simple majority in the Senate. President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans used the CRA in 2017 many times to nullify former President Barack Obama’s climate change programs and other leftist policies.

This is only here for those of you who are obsessively interested in the subject. [20:44] – Seeing as how the Effing Bee’s “fact” checkers keep assuring us that the vaxxxes are very carefully tested, it’s extraordinary how hard it is to find information about adverse reactions, breakthrough infections, and the efficacy of different treatment protocols.

There’s now one small study, done over a short period of time in Connecticut that Dr. John Campbell explains in detail. Of the fully vaxxxed patients who died of COVID-19, one was not overweight and had no co-morbidities. Clearly, there’s something else going on that they’re not checking for. E.g., Vitamin D and zinc levels, PLUS treatment protocols apart from ventilation.

One point he makes that caught my attention – i.e., that it is standard practice to not consider a person fully vaccinated until 14 days after inoculation. Okay. That’s fair. It takes time for the immune system to respond to the challenge. But what is totally wrong is that the PTBs are using this same metric to ignore adverse reactions that happen from the jab until 14 days after. It may take 2 weeks for the immune system to fully respond to the challenge, but it takes only moments for the body to go bonkers. And they all know it.

Virginia!

The Red Wave that hit Virginia yesterday was a YUGE loss for Dems. The last time a Republican won any statewide election was 2009! And to add insult to injury, the Dems’ heaviest hitters – Obama, Biden, Harris, Abrams – all went to Virginia to campaign for McAuliffe.

Also, Dems would like the Republican win to be about Trump. But Trump himself stayed out of it and Youngkin didn’t talk about him, sticking instead to specific issues facing everyday Virginians. And he won a huge victory against the establishment Democrat who was considered a shoe-in.

The projected winner (I haven’t seen it confirmed yet) of the attorney general race, Republican Jason Miyares, will likely become the first Latino to hold that office, again not clear if it’s anywhere or just in Virginia.

They’re also saying Republicans won big in Virginia’s down ballot races, but I haven’t seen a list.

Meanwhile, Democrats are busy, busy, busy pointing fingers at each other over who is at fault for Tuesday’s Red Wave. Breitbart reports, “The moderates claim radical policies are responsible for the drubbing, while the far-left claims the thrashing was Biden’s fault for not passing his radical reconciliation agenda through Congress quickly enough.”

The other “Not Our Fault” positions echo Biden’s pre-election day statement that, win or lose, the Virginia gubernatorial race had nothing to do with him and his party’s performance at the federal level. “It was about local issues”, not anything “Democrats or anything we did here in Washington.” – Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX)

When a reporter asked Speaker Pelosi if the brutal Democrat losses in Virginia would change the agenda for the House, she said, “No. No.”

COVID-19 Update

I get the impression that these people are among the most vaxx resistant, which makes sense. Not only did many of them catch and recover from the ‘rona, but also they saw the adverse reactions up close and in person.

When I was hospitalized recently, my favorite nurse said she had treated many ‘rona patients without catching it and did NOT trust the vaxxx. But the hospital was doing nothing to stick up for her rights. She couldn’t afford to lose her job, so had submitted to the jab. Another of my nurses was leaving a few days after I was discharged rather than let them inject her. The hospital had also posted big signs in the ER forbidding any recording devices. Let me guess what that was all about……. ::fuming::

I was angry on their behalf BEFORE I met any of them or experienced the low morale and rushed care the staffing shortages inflicted on me for my blessedly brief stay. I just hope to God I don’t have to go back!

In the video [6:58], a scientist with a child examines the risk to benefit ratio of vaxxxing kids. In his calculations, he only considers the known risk of myo/pericarditis vs. the demonstrated benefit from clinical trials. But even with that, the numbers don’t even begin to support mass vaxxxing of minors.

There are now thousands of reports of “neoplasms” (i.e., new tumors) in previously healthy people who got the ‘rona jabs. These include both noncancerous growths and malignant cancers. In addition, individuals have experienced existing tumors abruptly worsen and, in some cases, patients have rapidly deteriorated and died.

A few doctors have also spoken out about the spikes in cancer they have seen. “Since January 1, in the laboratory, I’m seeing a 20-times increase of endometrial cancers over what I see on an annual basis,” pathologist and immunologist/virologist Ryan Cole. “I’m not exaggerating at all because I look at my numbers year over year, and I’m like ‘Gosh, I’ve never seen this many endometrial cancers before.’” Cole said he’s also seeing invasive melanomas in young people “skyrocketing.” [See his 32 minute interview at the Rumble link below.]

As I’ve mentioned before, Israel has one of the highest national vaxxx rates in the world. And now they’re jabbing their kids. The nation has put a huge amount of pressure on citizens to accept the shots, including instituting vaccine passports that are required before citizens can leave the country or enter many stores and entertainment venues.

Their scientists have been good about reporting the efficacy of the jabs, including that its fades rapidly time and isn’t as good for the Delta variant. But they don’t appear to have been exactly pro-active about the adverse reactions issue. In fact, the woman who founded the Testimonies Project (third link below) said she has spoken with “hundreds of people” and “read thousands of testimonies” of people who have been adversely affected by the jab but who have been afraid to speak publicly “due to hostility around this subject.”

“In the past months, I’ve been hearing about more and more people I know who experienced severe adverse effects shortly after receiving the Pfizer shot. I also noticed that no news company, journalist, reporter, or anyone investigated these events thoroughly and published the data.” After the government began administering the experimental drug to the nation’s children, she realized someone must raise the alarm. “That’s when I decided to take on this task,” she said.

Elsewhere, I saw that the news of adverse reactions is spreading in Israel. More than one million Israelis have already sacrificed the freedoms their vaxxx passports gave them rather than submit to the now mandatory booster shot.

CLICK the link to watch a Tucker Carlson report [3:26] that I can’t find anywhere else. It appears to be recent and it covers the spike in the numbers of excess non-COVID deaths. At the second link below, Dr. Joel S. Hirschhorn writes on the same subject saying, “If there really are non-infection excess deaths, then the goal is to look beyond often bad and uncertain data from government agencies to correctly figure out whether something especially concerning is happening. Perhaps it could be something that governments do not want to acknowledge and deal with, as we shall see.”

He seems to do a thorough job of looking at what the actual number of COVID deaths (from, not with) might be and what the lockdown-related death toll is. Then, he moves on to vaccine-related deaths. And while I admit to being whelmed by all the data he presents, I did fully understand his conclusion:

“When you combine (1) the negative efficacy of the vaccine with (2) the negative all-cause mortality benefit, it’s impossible to justify vaccination. Either alone is sufficient to kill the benefit; both of them together makes things even more difficult for recommending vaccination. The bottom line is clear: If you got the vaccine, you were simply more likely to die. The younger you are, the greater the disparity.”

All Souls’ Day

Catholics are urged to pray for the souls in Purgatory every day, but on November 2, we focus on it exclusively. So, to my Catholic readers, don’t neglect this important duty. And to my non-Catholic Christian friends, here is what the RCC actually teaches.

From The Catechism of the Catholic Church:

“All who die in God’s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of Heaven. The Church gives the name Purgatory to this final purification of the elect, which is entirely different from the punishment of the damned.

“This teaching is also based on the practice of prayer for the dead, mentioned in Sacred Scripture… From the beginning the Church has honored the memory of the dead and offered prayers in suffrage for them, above all the Eucharistic sacrifice, so that, thus purified, they may attain the beatific vision of God. The Church also commends almsgiving, indulgences, and works of penance undertaken on behalf of the dead.” (CCC 1030-1032)

Myth: Purgatory is a second chance at salvation.

Truth: At death, a person’s eternal destiny is sealed: s/he will either spend eternity in Heaven or Hell. Purgatory is a temporary place that people who are already assured of Heaven may go if they are not yet ready to approach the All Holy God. C.S. Lewis noted that while his church did not teach its existence, he hoped it did, because he figured he’d still need to get cleaned up a bit before approaching the Throne.

Myth: Purgatory isn’t in the Bible.

Truth: In 1 Corinthians 3;11-15, St. Paul describes a period after death, but before Heaven, in which a Christian is purified with fire. That’s Purgatory. There’s more on this at the second link below.

“No one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.”

Myth: Purgatory is a way of being saved apart from Christ.

Truth: As already mentioned, Purgatory is only for people who have died in friendship with Christ and are assured of Heaven. Further, the purifying process of Purgatory is only through the grace of Jesus Christ. So rather than being something in competition with Christ, Purgatory is an occasion for the grace of Christ.

Myth: Indulgences are a way of buying salvation.

Truth: An indulgence is something granted by the Church that limits or removes a person’s need for Purgatory after death. Indulgences do not, however, determine whether a person goes to Heaven or Hell. Further, while historically there have been abuses regarding indulgences, the Catholic Church teaches that the selling of spiritual things is a sin called “simony.” There is more on this at the third link below.

Myth: Praying for the dead is a late medieval corruption of the faith.

Truth: Praying for the dead was practiced by Jews prior to Jesus, as recorded in 2 Maccabees 12. It was also practiced in the early Church. More on this at the fourth link below.

DEMOCRATS are in TROUBLE: And it couldn’t happen to a bigger bunch of freedom-destroying schmucks. A new NBC News poll that found 71% of Americans say the U.S. is heading in the wrong direction, including a near majority of Democrats and Biden’s disapproval rating is at 54%.

PARENTS RIGHTS: MSNBC and the Washington Post both pushed the Big Fat Lie that Virginians supporting Youngkin are a bunch of white racists. Their problem isn’t about critical race theory being taught in the schools (cuz we totes know it isn’t … except it is). It ALL about fanning “the embers of white resentment.”

On Monday, Juan Williams (the soon-to-be former token Democrat that I never listen to on The Five) took up the Left’s “Parents’ Rights Is Racist” cry in an opinion piece at The Hill in which he said that Parents’ Rights “is a campaign to stop classroom discussion of Black Lives Matter protests or slavery because it could upset some children, especially white children who might feel guilt.”

Noting that McAuliffe calls the phrase a “racist dog whistle,” Williams repeated the lie that Trump called white supremacists “very fine people.”

PFIZER BOOSTER: Israel has one of the highest vaccination rates in the world. Recently, their scientists reported that the numbers of hospitalizations and serious cases of COVID for individuals who had gotten a third Pfizer dose compared very favorably with those for individuals who had only gotten the initial two-dose jab some months ago. Unfortunately, the report I read did not mention the numbers or types of adverse side effects that followed on getting a booster shot.

RESISTANCE: The California-based burger chain, In-N-Out, is being punished with closings and fines for refusing to screen customers’ COVID status. So Florida’s chief financial officer, Jimmy Patronis, sent In-N-Out’s owner a letter inviting her to move to Florida.

Florida is among the top destinations for residents fleeing high unemployment, high taxes and invasive COVID regulations in Democrat blue states. In California, the unemployment rate is 7.5%; in Florida, it’s 5.3%.

SHORTAGES: In Seattle, the fire department is unable to cover required shifts. Some houses have gone offline, leaving their neighborhoods vulnerable.

In Los Angeles County, the sheriff is refusing to enforce the county’s vaxxx mandate, saying that unscheduled retirements, worker compensation claims, employees quitting, and a reduction in qualified applicants have already created an “imminent threat to public safety.”

In New York City, about 9,000 workers, including firefighters and police officers, are on unpaid leave as of Monday for refusing the vaxxx. NYC Councilman Mark D. Levine tweeted his opinion that firefighters who refused the vaxxx because they don’t care about public safety. Best tweet response: “Yes, the guys that regularly run into burning buildings don’t care about the welfare of others. Go with that.” – Mark Hemingway. Another tweeter with a long memory reposted a Feb. 9, 2020, tweet from Councilman Levine that said, “In powerful show of defiance of #coronavirus scare, huge crowds gathering in NYC’s Chinatown for ceremony ahead of annual #LunarNewYear parade. Chants of “be strong Wuhan!” If you are staying away, you are missing out!”

VAXXX MANDATES: Nineteen states have filed federal lawsuits against the Biden administration’s vaxxx mandate.

Let’s go, Brandon!

Democrats have an astonishing ability to simultaneously ignore issues of substance, while getting their panties in a giant wad over crap that doesn’t matter. Besides their melt downs over Dave Chappelle, they’re also really upset about “Let’s go, Brandon.”

When GOP Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina wore a face mask on the House floor sporting the phrase, Democratic Party chairwoman Jody Gaulin sneered, “Not only does Jeff Duncan not deliver for the people of the third district—I cannot think of a thing he has truly done. He now sports a vulgar slogan on his mask and walks off the floor! The hypocrisy of the Faith and Freedom BBQ is exposed!”

And over in the Twitterverse, CNN’s Jim Sciutto wrote, “Think about the lesson is the ‘Let’s go, Brandon’ crowd is teaching their children.”

Never mind that the phrase itself is as bland as cream of wheat. The only reason anyone could consider it vulgar is if they are fully aware of its origins as a Fake News attempt to distract viewers from sports fans chanting, “F*** Joe Biden.” LOL

So, one tweeter responded to Schiutto by reminding him that his network was so delighted about a 14-year-old girl flipping the bird at anti-mask protesters outside her school that they interviewed the girl and her equally proud mother on air.

Another reminded tweeters of that time Kathy Griffin mimed performing oral sex on Anderson Cooper during a live New Year’s Eve broadcast. Another posted Griffin’s self-portrait of herself holding a bloody Trump head.

KINDNESS: On Sept. 29, a Billings, Montana firefighter took time to read a story to the young victim of a car accident. For about three years, these firefighters have been carrying book bags for the kids they encounter. The bags, supplied by Usborne Books, help “bring some calm into their lives … some sense of normalcy in a really terrible situation.”

‘RONA HYPOCRISY: On Oct 26, Biden met with his Press Secretary, Jen Psaki. On Oct 27, Psaki tested positive for COVID and went into quarantine. On Oct 28, Biden met with Pope Francis without masks.

For reasons that escape me, Biden was not tested for COVID until Oct 29, after his meeting with the 85 year old pontiff. The test was negative. Biden has received three shots, as I expect the pro-vaxxx pontiff has as well. But as we now know, they don’t work on the Delta variant.
