More than 60 pro-life leaders have urged the Senate to vote no on this nominee. Sen. Joe Manchin, an allegedly moderate Democrat who represents the pro-life state of West Virginia, had not yet decided how he will vote, suggesting the pressure on him to comply must be intense.

BORDER: Under Obama/Biden, the Border Patrol build cages to keep migrant children safe while their immigration status and family connections were verified. Under Trump, the border was controlled, so the whole issue was a lot less of an issue.

Now we’ve got FAUXTUS once again allowing too many illegals across the border, so they once again need facilities to house migrant children. Thankfully, FAUXTUS’ Press Secretary Jen Psaki has assured us that shipping containers are not cages. “This is not kids being kept in cages. This is a facility that was opened.“

The never-unbiased Washington Post explained, “Many children arrive at the border as unaccompanied minors, leading to difficult decisions about what to do with them. Many are seeking to be united with family members already in the United States. But some aren’t, and they can’t be released without an adult sponsor taking custody.”

Uh, yeah. We pointed that out when Trump was in office, but you just shrieked about “kids in cages” (while publishing photos taken in 2014).

BRAIN FREEZE: Biden marked 500,000 American COVID-19 deaths at a White House ceremony where he said, “The only way to spare more pain and more loss, the only way— these millstones no longer mark our national mourning— these milestones, I should say, no longer, no longer moke— mark our national mourning …”

CAPITOL BREACH: The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and the Senate Rules and Administration Committee held a joint hearing into the riot on January 6.

Witness testimony directly contradicted what Democrats told the Senate impeachment trial earlier this month. i.e., that the attack on the Capitol had been expected as a result of President Trump’s alleged “incitement.”

Steven A. Sund, who was Chief of the Capitol Police at the time, testified that “none of the intelligence we received predicted what actually occurred.” He said the Capitol Police prepared for a protest that could become violent, but never prepared for an attack on the Capitol itself. “Although it appears that there were numerous participants from multiple states planning this attack, the entire intelligence community (IC) seems to have missed it.”

Robert J. Contee III, Acting Chief of the D.C. Metro Police, testified that “available intelligence pointed to a large presence of some of the same groups that had contributed to violence in the city after demonstrations in November and December. The District did not have intelligence pointing to a coordinated assault on the Capitol.”

Paul D. Irving, who was Sergeant-at-Arms for the House of Representatives at the time, testified that neither the FBI nor the Department of Homeland Security “assessed or forecast a coordinated assault on the Capitol like the one that took place.”

DEB HAALAND: FAUXTUS’ nominee for Secretary of the Interior has been confirmed by the Senate. Haaland, an enrolled member of the Laguna Pueblo tribe, will be the first Native American to hold a Cabinet position. She is radically opposed to fossil fuels. At her hearing, she introduced herself, noting that Capitol Hill sits on the ancestral homelands of the Nacotchtank, Anacostan, and Piscataway people.

HUMAN SMUGGLERS: This woman’s paid coyote dumped her in Texas during the Arctic blast. She suffered in the cold for 6 days and was rescued by Border Patrol agents. The 43-year-old Mexican national is being treated for hypothermia and severe frostbite. Doctors say she wouldn’t have lived much longer if she hadn’t been rescued.

ILHAN OMAR: The Democratic congresswoman from Minnesota has a long history of making antisemitic statements and expressing virulent hostility toward the nation of Israel. She was recently promoted to the position of Vice Chair on the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, and Global Human Rights.

“Global Human Rights”? Really? The Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), the largest rabbinic public policy organization in America, was not happy. Noting that Omar was voted “2019’s Anti-Semite of the Year” by StopAntiSemitism.org, the rabbis called the appointment, “both risible and dangerous.”

Rabbi Steven Pruzansky, Israel Regional Vice President of the CJV said, “I have little doubt that she will abuse the framework of ‘human rights’ to further her campaign to demonize the Jewish State, as the UN Human Rights Council does on an annual basis.”

Sullivan, 26, entered the Capitol Building through a broken window and wearing a ballistic vest and gas mask. Once inside, he pushed past U.S. Capitol Police and encouraged others to riot saying, “We got to get this s— burned” and “it’s our house m————.” He was arrested and charged last month with violent entry, civil disorder, and disorderly conduct. He claims to be a member of Antifa and also faces charges in Utah for crimes committed during a BLM riot.

SCOTUS: On Monday, the Supreme Court not only refused to hear any election fraud cases, but also threw out Trump’s request to prevent Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance (Democrat) from subpoenaing his tax returns. They didn’t even have the courtesy to explain their decision to let a Democrat DA go on a fishing expedition through Trump’s financials.

Equality Act No

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has outlined why the Equality Act will be so damaging:

• exempts itself from the bipartisan Religious Freedom Restoration Act, in an explicit and unprecedented departure from one of America’s founding principles, thereby infringing on religious freedom and making it more difficult for individuals to live out their faith.

• forces religiously operated spaces and establishments, such as church halls, to either host functions that violate their beliefs or close their doors to their communities.

• requires women to compete against men and boys in sports, and to share locker rooms and shower facilities with men and boys.

• forces faith-based charities that serve all people to violate their religious beliefs, and threatens the welfare of thousands of beneficiaries of charitable services such as shelters and foster care agencies, by forcing a multitude of them to be shut down.

• jeopardizes existing prohibitions on the use of federal taxpayer funds for abortion, likely pressuring or even mandating the performance of abortions by health care providers in violation of their consciences, and ultimately ending more human lives.

• hinders quality health care, by forcing health care professionals, against their best medical judgment, to support treatments and procedures associated with “gender transition.”

Then, he was asked if he would prosecute people who enter the country illegally and replied, “This is again, ah, uh, a question of allocation of resources. We will uh, the department, will um ah um, I don’t know.”

When asked if he considers Antifa and Black Lives Matter attacks on the courthouse in Portland to be “domestic terrorism,” Garland said his personal definition of domestic terrorism is the use of violence or threats of violence to interrupt the democratic process, therefore, attacks on buildings at night probably don’t count.

SCOTUS: The Supreme Court today decided against hearing election fraud cases. Justice Clarence Thomas slammed the decision saying, “One wonders what this Court waits for. We failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. … By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more from us.”

TRUMPERS: A recent USA Today poll found that 73% of Trump voters believe Joe Biden was not legitimately elected.

GRAMMY NOTES: Mama Buzz called to tell me a story she had heard on the radio. I haven’t found it on the ‘net, but it’s too cool not to share.

Some good folks who wanted to help Texans decided to donate as much clean, bottled water as they could afford to purchase and transport. It filled a tractor trailer.

As they were traveling to deliver it, three tires blew out. They called the agency they were headed for and said they didn’t think they would make it. They were told that area had enough water, but the town where they broke down really needed it! Even better, when they delivered it, they were told, “Our church prayed for water this morning.”

Who knew angels would blow out tires to get the job done! LOL

For them to say we are doing nothing and sitting home and smoking pot is far from the truth.”

PLANNED PARENTHOOD: Their 2019 annual report was just released. It shows the abortion giant killed 354,000 unborn babies, an increase of 9,000 from the year before.

They claim it’s main focus is women’s health care, but the statistics don’t lie. Every year, they kill more unborn babies than they did the year before. In 2018, killed 332,757 babies in abortions, which was an increase of 3.51% from 2017.

RANDOM ACTS: Mattress Mack has opened his store’s doors to victims of flood, storm, housefires, and now cold. When power outages hit freezing Texans, he offered two of his Furniture Gallery stores (Houston, Richmond) as warming centers to those in need in the Houston area.

He had food, clothing, hot chocolate and an open ended invitation. “Whether they want to stay for two hours until their power gets back on, or they want to stay for two days, we’re here for the community.”

Last June, he opened a Charter High School offering a variety of courses to students who might be needing more flexibility in their timetable, or who wish to embark on a career involving more manual-skills. With training available in the automotive, electrical, carpentry and welding sectors, students have the opportunity to take part in internships and even graduate early.

TDS: Mayor de Blasio hates Trump more than he loves his own citizens. In a pathetically spiteful move that hurt The Donald not at all, he severed ties with the Trump Organization that ran four operations in the city – the Central Park Carousel, Wollman and Lasker skating rinks, and the Ferry Point Golf Course. They don’t have anybody else to run these popular spots, but by gum, they’re NOT going to let anything or anyone named “Trump” do anything nice for anybody.

BUTTINSKY POLITICS: In 2017, then-President Trump signed an Executive Order to increase apprenticeships by reducing federal oversight of them, because “federally funded education and workforce development programs are not effectively serving American workers.”

Biden just repealed it.

CLIMATE: Democrats pay as much attention to science as they do to unity.

ERCOT: The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) operates Texas’s electrical grid, dispatching power from the major sources in Texas – i.e., natural gas (51%), wind (24.8%), coal (13.4%), nuclear (4.9%), solar (3.8%), and hydroelectric or biomass-fired units (1.9%).

When weather predictions showed the arctic blast would drop temps and up electrical demand beyond the most extreme predicted seasonal loads, Texas asked the feds for emergency authority to increase their output from the non-renewable energy sources, because the renewable ones had failed in the frigid temperatures.

The Biden administration said no – “to minimize adverse environmental impact” – knowing full well Texans could freeze to death in their homes with zero electricity as temperatures plunged into the single digits. Dozens of deaths are tied to the storm, but experts say the death toll is likely far larger. And it could be weeks or months before the true magnitude is known.

I can’t find this being reported by Slime media. What they’re saying is, “President Joe Biden assured the governors of hard-hit states that the federal government stands ready to offer any emergency resources needed.” Also, “Texans would rather freeze to death than let the feds regulate their power.”

NIKKI HALEY: The Left and the NeverTrumpers are proclaiming her “an obvious choice for a party that needs to expand beyond non-college-educated white men.” I’m pretty sure these are the same people who backed John McCain and Mitt Romney to get creamed by Barack Obama. I remember McCain in particular. During the primaries, he was the Left Stream media’s darling, but once he had the nomination, they didn’t like him anymore.

One of the other problems with their confident backing of the back-stabbing Haley is that Trump’s support goes so far beyond “non-college-educated white men” that it’s absurd they continue to say it. The other problem is the result of a recent Politico poll asking 654 registered Republicans, “If the 2024 Republican primary were being held today, for whom would you vote?”

Fifty-three percent chose Donald Trump. The next highest was Mike Pence with 12%. Haley tied with Donald Trump Jr. at 6% each.

SOUTH CAROLINA: Kudos to SC for banning abortions on any baby who has a detectable heart beat. The law contains exceptions for rape, incest, medical threat to the mother, or fetal anomalies deemed “incompatible with life.” Naturally, Planned Parenthood is suing.

A federal judge placed a two-week temporary restraining order on South Carolina’s new law banning most abortions if fetal heartbeats are detected. South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson said: “My office will vigorously defend this law in court because there is nothing more important than protecting life.“

VAX: Doctors and researchers have testified that in spite of years of research, a vaccine for a coronavirus has never been successfully developed. In the animal studies conducted in the past, animals injected with a coronavirus vaccine have ended up sterile. In other cases, rather than protect against infection, a test vaccine caused the animal’s immune system to overreact and the animal died.

COVID-19: Before FAUXTUS arrived to save us, the recommended coronavirus test was the end all and be all. This, despite the fact that it was well known to be too sensitive, giving positive results for people who were asymptomatic and not contagious.

But now, they have to make it look like FAUXTUS is doing what TRUMP supposedly never could – i.e., CURE THE VIRUS. So they have admitted the test is too sensitive and recommended asymptomatic positives be retested. And, voila … it’s just the strangest thing, but the case numbers have dropped dramatically!

We’ve been played and it’s still happening. In 2019, 14.4% of our hospital beds had coronavirus patients in them; that number is now 7.8%, yet jerknalists keep telling us, “The virus is worse than ever! Lockdowns must continue!”

Then, after saying we could safely reopen schools, the CDC consulted with the teachers’ unions and reversed itself. It’s U.S. virus map shows huge swathes of red … red meaning “Schools must not open, because it’s too DANGEROUS!” Never mind that schools around the country have been open all year without suffering mass casualties and studies showing that kids don’t catch or transmit the virus readily.

And don’t you dare not get vaccinated, you hater, even though we’re not totally sure how dangerous or effective they are. And never you mind that everybody you know has had the virus and recovered (meaning they’re now immune) OR has been vaccinated (supposedly meaning they’re immune, but maybe not?), “Everybody still has to wear masks!”

Amazing how we must cower in fear before a virus with a 99% survival rate, several effective treatments, and several vaccines.

I remember the Swine Flu epidemic, which hit all ages, not just the very elderly, and that killed off 11% of those sick enough to need hospitalization. Then-VP Biden said he didn’t want his loved ones on public transportation because of the risk of contracting the disease, then Obama flipped out and made him walk it back, lest his remark damage the transportation industry.

I was blogging back then and I don’t remember anybody closing schools or businesses or churches or demanding mask wearing or vaccinations. Maybe the difference was that Teh Won was in office. Or something.

PRICE OF OIL: The price of oil is the most important value on the international commodity markets. It has a strong influence on international economic development.

TDS: In late January, a bunch of House Democrats proposed a bill they call the “No Glory for Hate Act.” It’s official name is H.R. 484. It’s purpose is to “prohibit the use of Federal funds for the commemoration of certain former Presidents” by which they mean presidents who have been impeached twice, which duh means it is legislation targeted specifically at a single former president named Donald Trump.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is apparently an incurable mental disorder. I mean, I loathed and despised BHO to the point where one might have reasonably accused me of suffering from ODS. But as soon as he left office, I forgot about him. Not so Democrats.

H.R. 484 (which is still in committee) would prohibit the use of Federal funds to create or display any symbol, monument, or statue or to name, designate, or redesignate a Federal building or Federal land to commemorate or honor [Donald Trump].

It would also prohibit the use of federal funds to help any State, political subdivision, or entity to name any building, land, structure, installation, or other property after [Donald Trump] or to benefit any place that already bears his name.

Six Reasons Every Pastor Should Require Masks and Social Distancing at Church

ONE: You Will Be Fitting in (and Helping Others Fit in Too) – You want visitors to walk into your church and say, “Hey, everyone here behaves just like the rest of the world.” As you lovingly lead your people by requiring them to wear masks, you will be helping others conform to the world.

TWO: You Will Encourage Everyone to Trust the Government – Christians should be innocent as serpents and wise as doves. This is especially true when it comes to government mandates relating to the church. There is no need to question any of their decisions.

THREE: By Binding the Consciences of All Believers, You Will Weed Out Dangerous, Independent Thinkers from Your Church – You will do the good work of separating the wheat from the chaff. Supposed “Christians” who think that individual believers should be able to make up their own minds about wearing a mask or social distancing cause divisions and create obstacles. They are probably also conspiracy theorists.

FOUR: You Will Be Showing Your Support for the Government Mandated Shutdown of Your Congregant’s Businesses – It is far more important that we slow the inevitable spread of the coronavirus than that people can support themselves and their families. If even one person dies because of the coronavirus, we have failed as a nation. But if a someone loses their business, cannot support their family, and turns to drugs, alcohol, and suicide, our hands are clean.

FIVE: You Will Help Christians Understand True Science – Christians used to believe that God created humans with immune systems. Now we know better. By ensuring that everyone covers their face and stays six feet away from one another, you will reinforce the undisputed truth that our bodies were not designed to interact with microbes and develop natural immunity.

SIX: You Will Ensure Unity by Making Everyone Act the Same Way – If some people are worried about getting the virus, then it makes perfect sense to make everyone else wear a mask too. Love means we accept whatever someone else believes. Just remember that “we are all in this together.” As long as everyone is acting in “unity,” nothing else really matters.

BEST PRESIDENT EVER: A new poll asked Republicans, “Who was the best president ever?” Trump got 36%, Reagan got 18%, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington got 11% each.

CANADA: A Canadian mother along with her four children and the children’s grandmother were each fined $3,000 and hustled into a government-run COVID quarantine facility after Canadian border agents refused to accept the results of their COVID tests because the results were 2 hours expired.

They left in plenty of time to cross the border before the tests hit Canada’s 72-hour limit and the only reason they were late arriving at the border was that the car acted up on the way.

“The border agents could’ve said the tests were expired and given me the option to turn around and get another test. But no, they kept us there over 3 hours and then handed each of us a $3,000 citation totaling $18,000.”

The mother along with her four children — aged 9, 12, 14, and 16 — and their grandmother each received the maximum fine possible. The family was then ordered to drive to the nearest Designated Quarantine Facility (DQF), which is in Winnipeg where they were told they must stay until they can receive another COVID test.

The mother said that when she pleaded with agents to let her and her family go home, they essentially told her that they would not budge and that they wanted to make an example of the mother and her family as a warning to other people not to travel.

Remember when Canadians were considered the nicest people?

The mother said that she’s worried about the power Trudeau has seized to pass laws that Canadian citizens have not voted on. “He made these laws. None of us voted on them. It’s scary,” she said.

Because he’s a gentleman, he declined to name either organization.

CALIFORNIA: NOW they care about valid signatures? – California Governor Gavin Newsom has done such a terrible job managing the pandemic that he is facing a serious effort to get him removed from office. The petition “Rescue California” has gathered over 1.5 million signatures, enough to qualify to put his recall up for a vote.

Newsom has one ace up his sleeve. The one party, Democrat rule in California. They may not have given a toot whether 2020 presidential signatures were valid, but they sure as shooting are planning to throw out “Rescue California” petition signatures that do not match exactly.

CANCEL CULTURE: A Massachusetts high school football coach is suing three public school district officials for retaliation after he was fired for questioning his daughter’s 7th-grade world history curriculum. In his suit, David Flynn stated he expressed his opposition in his personal capacity as a parent and not as the district’s high school football coach. He has coached the team since 2002 and became head coach in 2011. Hundreds of parents and community members have rallied behind the coach.

EDUCATION: One week, CDC officials say schools should reopen and the next week they’re telling us all the reasons why schools should stay closed. Now we hear that they did consult lobbyists and unions … but they did not consult parents. SCIENCE!

My Texas grands went back to unmasked, full time, in person school last August. I’m pretty sure they haven’t all been dropping dead from COVID cuz they keep showing up on their classroom FB pages.

HYPOCRISY: On his first day in office, FAUXTUS killed off the XL pipeline that benefits Americans. Now, he is helping to broker a trans-Afghanistan pipeline that, if built, will enrich one of the world’s worst dictatorships and the group responsible for thousands of U.S. deaths. Apparently, pandering to terrorists is more important than saving us from fossil fuels.

LGBTQ HYPOCRISY: FAUXTUS has declared that the rights of LGBTQI+ persons will be an important factor when his administration considers foreign aid. And never you mind how that might violate the national sovereignty or local laws and cultures of our allies.

Our enemies, on the other hand, are free to violate the human rights of those the deem undesirable. We’ve already heard how FAUXTUS is ignoring China’s grotesque treatment of its Muslim minorities. Now we hear that he is ignoring a U.N. Report saying Iranian authorities torture gay, lesbian, and transgender children.

LINCOLN PROJECT: In 2019, a group of NeverTrumpers formed the Lincoln Project PAC. They had only two stated goals – To defeat Donald Trump at the ballot box and to ensure Trumpism failed alongside him. In 2020, they backed Biden.

The founders included George Conway, husband of Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway. Yikes! Clearly, the Conway family suffered significant stresses, since their kid apparently had some kind of internet meltdown, then both George and Kellyanne resigned their positions to focus on family.

I didn’t do a deep dive, but it looks like the founders were a combo of people who wanted, but did not get positions in the Trump administration and swampy, elitist Republicans. Co-founder John Weaver had been a longtime aide to Sen. John McCain aide and a strategist for John Kasich, who joined up at some point.

On November 4, 2020, Fuzzy Slippers at LI wrote, “For some reason, Democrats thought that a venom-spitting gaggle of disgruntled, mean-spirited former Republicans was just the ticket to help them turn out Republican voters to beat the president. The left is now regretting that misguided decision, and the Lincoln Project is catching a lot of flak for their wrong-headed ‘guidance’ on and negative approach to winning over Republican voters.”

After the election, these jackals targeted the people around Trump, doxxing his lawyers and launching a media campaign to slander people and companies who happen to use those lawyers. They even created a database to track officials and staffers from Donald Trump’s administration to better assist their fellow haters in making their lives miserable for having supported Trump.

Their nastiness no doubt contributed to the abusive emails, phone calls, physical and economic threats, and even accusations of treason these people received. At least one ended up needed police protection. But hey, let’s all target Trumpers for being the only people in the country who incite political violence.

In January, Ryan Girdusky broke the story that Lincoln Project co-founder, John Weaver, had been a long-time homosexual predator, offering young men jobs in exchange for sex. “As they continue to grift and target private citizens who worked for the administration, it’s important to point out that one of their founding members was using their organization and the promise of a job in politics to prey on young men. The question remains, though, of how many other founding members knew about it and were complicit.”

AP followed up with a report demonstrating that the Lincoln Project was a massive financial scam to enrich its founders at the expense of gullible liberals and proving that they knew about John Weaver’s sexual misconduct.

On February 12, Fuzzy Slippers at LI wrote, “Hailed as heroes who were taking a principled Never Trump stand by the Democratic Party’s unofficial media activist arm, the Lincoln Project is quickly going the way of Michael Avenatti; having served their anti-Trump purpose, the media that built them up is busily tearing them down.”

On February 16, Mary Chastain at LI wrote that more than 20 people have now come forward with complaints about Weaver, including two minors. Below is Laura Ingraham’s report [5:02] about the Lincoln Project’s behavior. I confess to being offended that these bottom-feeding slime suckers presumed to take the name of Lincoln. Can you imagine that honorable man acting like this?!

Amazon Hypocrisy

Amazon deplatformed the social media site Parler supposedly for publishing violent content.

In its policy statement, the on-line mega vendor states, “Amazon does not allow products that promote, incite or glorify hatred, violence, racial, sexual or religious intolerance or promote organizations with such views. We’ll also remove listings that graphically portray violence or victims of violence.”

But Amazon is far from consistent in how it applies its policy. A recent survey by the Media Research Center found 270 items for sale that “promote, incite or glorify hatred, violence, racial, sexual or religious intolerance or promote organizations with such views.”

Here are a few celebrating Left-wing political violence.

In 2019, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) asked Amazon to take down bath mats that were imprinted with words from the Prophet Muhammed. Yet items that may be seen as blasphemous to Christians and Catholics are still up on the platform. The ones I’ve pictured are mild. One I looked at was so vile, I refuse to reproduce it here (though I did include the URL below).
