Did CNN FAKE this?
From Allen West: “With the whole world watching the tragic loss of life and property in Texas, CNN corespondent Drew Griffin decided to play the role of hero and assist in the saving of a man in distress, which on the surface is certainly worthy of applause.”
When I saw the clip, I thought it was a bit much when the guy thanked them for “saving my life.” But it gets worse. A sharp-eyed tweeter noticed that the “heroic” talking head apparently took the time to CHANGE HIS CLOTHES in the middle of the so-called rescue. When he first runs behind the wheelchair sign, you can see he’s wearing the red hoodie with shorts and sandals. But later, he’s wearing black pants.

PRAYERS! Prayer is so important. Hurricane Irma is in the ocean now. Please pray it dies out or redirects and doesn’t hit Texas, Louisiana, or Haiti!!

I need a tissue! Maybe I’m just being whelmed by the fact that my own flesh and blood was involved in this rescue. Or maybe it really is a story you’ll be glad you took the time to read in full. The thumbnails on the top right go to the rest of the photos Capt Nigrelle took of the rescue of a paralyzed man and his wife that ultimately involved Texas National Guard soldiers, Texas Task Force 1 and Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Service swift water rescue technicians, the U.S. Coast Guard, and local volunteers.
BE CAREFUL HOW YOU DONATE TO HARVEY RELIEF! Anti-Israel, Sharia law loving activist Linda Sarsour sparked outrage after she asked her followers on Twitter to donate to help Hurricane Harvey victims, but the link takes you to a political activist group.

I’ll attach more in comments if I see anything interesting, but too short to make a whole blog about.

Facebook Will Now Automatically Drone Strike People Who Post Fake News
From The Babylon Bee.
MENLO PARK, CA—Fake news has finally met its match in Mark Zuckerberg. The Facebook CEO announced Monday that his wildly successful social network will now “promptly and automatically” fly an MQ-1 Predator drone to the location of anyone who posts or shares an article that has been deemed “fake news,” and will obliterate the person with a Hellfire missile.
![]()
But that’s not all: the internet titan also revealed that the drone strikes can be unleashed by Facebook users upon anyone they disagree with.
That’s right. Just flag an item as “offensive” or “I don’t want to see this,” and Zuckerberg will honor his promise to blow your ideological enemy sky-high with a totally devastating and pinpoint accurate air-to-ground missile.
But don’t worry, brave social justice warriors: this feature is only enabled for those Facebook has identified as progressives, so you’ll be able to rid the world of your political foes while you’re safe in your own little Portland bungalow. You can now truly make the world a better place through your online battles!
Thanks to Mark Zuckerberg, it looks like it’s R.I.P. fake news!

This Monster Known as Harvey
We’ve been in touch with our relatives in the area. Their opinion is: “This is WAY worse than Katrina!” Eighteen counties have been declared disasters. It’s hard to fathom.
We claim two households in the area. One family home is fine and the inhabitants are helping with relief efforts. The other family was out of state to view the eclipse, so they’re safe, but their house is flooded, so they are staying where they are for now.
TEXAS NOAD: This page has a list of organizations working on hurricane relief.

These guys deployed from my state. 🙂 This video shows them using a special harness to rescue a ONE MONTH OLD baby! I need a tissue.

A short time later, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the announcement would come Tuesday.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Friday afternoon that President Donald Trump would announce his decision concerning the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) on Tuesday, Sept. 5 — the deadline that 10 Republican attorneys general set for Trump before they promised to sue the government to end the program
The staggering numbers on display are sure to send a shock wave through the nation’s economy because a new “report” projects that the end of DACA would result in job losses in excess of the population of some smaller island nations.
