BABY FORMULA: Last May, the Biden White House took steps to address the critical baby formula shortage. The makers of Enfamil just announced the shortage is likely to continue until next spring. Funny … I don’t remember seeing “did nothing to make sure babies are getting fed” on that “talk to your uncle at Thanksgiving” thing.
“My issue with this is that they’re allowing these things to happen to children. Children who can’t drive. Children who are not old enough to buy alcohol because their brains aren’t mature enough to do that. Children who aren’t mature enough to buy nicotine, according to the law… They can’t get a tattoo without parental consent because that’s a permanent thing on your body. Mentally you don’t understand that it’s going to be forever… They can’t make these decisions, they’re children!”
SWEDEN: I remember when Trump said Sweden had chosen the wrong road, because they were getting hit hard. But over time, it’s been proven they were right all along. They got to herd immunity via the quick and dirty method. I saw a Swedish doctor’s report that showed their overall death rate had barely blipped, because the ‘rona mostly picked off low hanging fruit – i.e., people who were going to die soon anyway.
COVID-19: A paper published in January 2022 showed that people who had been exposed to one of the coronaviruses that cause mild to moderate upper-respiratory tract illnesses, like the common cold (i.e., runny nose, sore throat, headache, fever, cough) enjoyed robust cross-immunity to the COVID-19 virus.

ARIZONA: Two top Republican candidates have filed lawsuits against Maricopa County, alleging violations of election law. At least 70 of the 223 voting locations had vote tabulator malfunctions on Election Day and violated election laws in their handling of the contest.
Despite the irregularities, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors voted to certify the Democrat wins. The Democrat representing District 5 claimed, “This election was safe, secure, and in my opinion, this election is over.”

These included accounts of doctors and scientists working on the front lines. I remember one doctor saying he’d been dinged for reporting on the increase in certain types of problems in his ER. He said, “I guess Twitter knows better than I do what I’m seeing in my own clinic.”
DNA: After the ancestry service, 23andMe, made a DNA match, a family in Fort Worth, Texas, was finally reunited after 51 years. Melissa Highsmith was just 22-months old in 1971 when she was abducted. Her kidnapper raised her as her own daughter, so it was a shock and a half when her biological dad contacted her. Her identity was confirmed by the unusual birthmark on her back and also by further DNA testing.
FAUXTUS: [:24] – Biden spent the holiday on Nantucket, where the Secret Service rented five vehicles from Hertz to carry him and his family around the island. On Monday, the day after Biden left the island, all five of the vehicles were destroyed by fire. Fortunately, firefighters were able to limit the blaze to those five vehicles, which were parked at the Nantucket airport, just 40 feet away from jet fuel tanks.
It is currently unknown what caused the fire, but the burn patterns suggest it was the Ford Expedition that started the conflagration. The vehicle was under a safety recall by the manufacturer due to a faulty battery junction box that has caused fires. While it had been scheduled for service under the recall, it had not yet been repaired. But sure … rent that sucker to the POTUS. No problemo!
ITALY: A private medical clinic has opened in Lucca, Italy, that is devoted to caring for patients who have been injured by the experimental COVID-19 gene therapy jabs. Making it abundantly clear that the whole ‘rona vaxxx thing was about politics, not public health, a left-wing political party from Tuscany tried to pressure the mayor of Lucca to publicly disavow the clinic.
NEW YORK CITY: For 11 years, New York City’s Department of Education has been providing minors in grades 2-12 “comprehensive reproductive health, primary care, mental health, and community based clinics. All services offered are confidential and free of charge. Parents can choose to have their child opt-out of these services.”
School clinics staffed by who knows who … certainly not a kid’s primary pediatrician … apparently prescribe birth control pills, insert intrauterine devices (IUDs), provide hormone-delivering injections and patches, and hand out Plan B pills. I’d like to bet they also make it as easy as possible for a kid to get an abortion during school hours so their parents don’t find out.
That’s a whole lot of important health intervention that a kid’s primary should know about. But given how closed mouth they are about making sure minors can secretly engage in sex, I’m guessing they don’t share the information with doctors. A majority of parents oppose the program, but only one to two percent choose to opt their kids out of the program … maybe because they don’t know they can.
RAAACISM: The World Health Organization has changed the name of monkeypox to “mpox” due to complaints that “monkeypox” was “racist and stigmatizing.” Not The Bee makes the excellent point that considering the word “monkey” to be racist is … well … kinda racist. The White House was concerned that the term monkeypox was hampering its vaccination campaign by engendering stigma, particularly among people of color. Or, maybe, they just don’t trust vaccines.
CHICOMS: [13:20] – The idiots running this country have decided they can order the COVID-19 virus into extinction … ignoring the fact that it can be transmitted between animals and humans, which means it’s endemic. They’re still enforcing lockdowns that are so draconian that people were literally burned alive in their homes because fire fighters couldn’t get to them. There are heart-breaking videos posted at the link. Is it any wonder mass protests have broken out? Sadly, Chinese citizens can’t respond effectively to their tyrannical government, because they have no right to bear arms.
DOE: A senior official in the Biden Energy Department has been charged with felony theft for stealing a $2,325 designer suitcase from the luggage carousel. Airport video surveillance shows Sam Brinton, Biden’s first non-binary appointee, taking the suitcase off the carousel and removing its ID tag. LEOs observed Brinton using the suitcase during at least two subsequent trips. Brinton, who is on leave from the DOE, still has the suitcase, but claims he/she/it didn’t “steal” it.
TRANS: In addition to godless pro-trans “chaplains”, Wisconsin’s Children’s Hospital “Gender Health Clinic” offers wrong-sex hormones and surgical mutilations for minors. They also readily prescribed allegedly “reversible” puberty blockers (off-label) at first visits, despite the fact that nobody knows what the long-term effects are.

GRAMMY NOTES: I’ve often thought that this commandment gets way too little attention. I mean, suppose God spoke the commands in Exodus 20 in the way ingredients on a food label are listed – i.e., from biggest to smallest? That would put “Don’t use My Name in vain” ahead of murder! (It also puts “Honor your parents” ahead of murder, but that’s a discussion for another time.)
At Catholic Exchange, Brian Kranick writes about the power of the holy name of God as experienced by exorcists. “Demons generally do not and cannot say holy names. Instead, they call Jesus ‘he’ or ‘your Boss.’” Indeed, when an exorcist orders a demon to do something “in the name of Jesus,” the demon must submit! Clearly, there is power here.
So why do we use these holy names so carelessly?! Maybe we could all try what Kranick suggests, which is to not just watch our own mouths, but also to pray for others who misuse holy names. For example, if someone exclaims, “Oh my God” or “Jesus Christ”, add “have mercy on us.”
I’ve never actually looked at Luther’s famous “95 Theses” before. When I did, I was surprised to see that while he condemned the selling of indulgences for less than admirable causes, he did not quibble about the efficacy of indulgences.
His main concern seemed to be that some people were merely handing money over to the church and then ignoring the need for true repentance and true penance. IOW, he was worried that this corrupt, off-hand selling of indulgences was leading some souls to potentially lose Heaven through complacency.
Many years ago, I read three biographies of Martin Luther, one by a Catholic, one by a Lutheran, and one by a secular historian. I may have this 100% wrong, but my big take away was that he didn’t intend to create a new religion. It seems to me that Protestantism only happened because the Bishop of Rome had abused his spiritual authority in a bid to be the de facto Emperor of Europe.
The German princes were fed up with being threatened by excommunication and interdiction and jumped on Luther’s ideas, because they provided the theological means to neutralize the power of the Vatican. If they hadn’t elevated Luther into an anti-Catholic superstar, I think Father Martin would’ve been one more priest calling for needed reforms.
Today is the first Sunday of Advent, which is the beginning of the liturgical calendar. Through the cycle of the liturgical year, the mystery of Christ unfolds, celebrating all He did for us and calling us again and again to live more fully, more deeply, with Him, in Him, and through Him.
Advent is a season of preparation for celebrating the first coming of Jesus, in the Nativity, but it is also a season for preparing for His second coming, in the Apocalypse. The readings for today’s Mass (graphic and link below) are all about the End Times.
Interestingly, the Gospel reading includes my favorite Rapture passage: “So will it be also at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be out in the field; one will be taken, and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one will be left. Therefore, stay awake!” – Matthew 24:39-41
I’ve heard Catholics pooh-poohing Rapture teachings, saying the passages cited refer to the Final Judgment. But Jesus Himself told us (Matt 25:31-46) that, at the very end, everyone will be compelled to appear before the Throne. I don’t see how that can be the same event He spoke of in Matthew 24, when the angels will go out and gather the elect, leaving some behind.

COVID-19: A new study confirms what we here already knew, which is that promoting Vitamin D supplementation and telling people to get outside in the sun would have saved lives.
A team of researchers from multiple institutions – including Johns Hopkins, the Universities of Michigan and Illinois, and the National Bureau of Economic Research – found that D2 reduced ‘rona infection by 28%, while D3 reduced it by 20%. Among those who caught the bug, D2 reduced mortality by 25%, while D3 reduced it 33%. The study noted that, although at least half of Americans are deficient in Vitamin D, supplementation is affordable, widely available, and safe in appropriate doses.
If you supplement, take your D with the meal that has the largest proportion of fat. This will greatly improve your body’s ability to absorb and utilize the vitamin. Also, keep an eye on your totals. D is among the fat soluble vitamins, meaning your body will store rather than excrete any excess. Long term hyper-supplementation can lead to toxicity and I’m noticing more blends are including D and some of the amounts are at or above the safety line.
You may want to ask your doctor to include Vitamin D in your annual blood work; despite widespread deficiency and the importance of this vitamin to your immune system, testing is not routinely done. The first time I asked for it, my primary warned that my insurance might not cover it. However, I never got a bill and he has included it ever since.
DETRANS: Camille Kiefel is the second ex-trannie I’ve heard about who is suing the people who shoved her into a double mastectomy. Her complaint says the defendants “abused their positions of professional trust and authority with intent to cause, or with reckless disregard.”
FAUCI: The Attorneys General for Louisiana and Missouri deposed St. Tony as part of their landmark lawsuit against the federal government for colluding with social media companies to censor speech. Prior to the deposition, Landry had said he hoped to find out how involved Fauci had been in censoring what we were allowed to know during the pandemic. Sadly, the man once hailed as “the most important, consequential public servant in the United States in the last half century” was unable to remember what the hell he did or did not do during the pandemic.
GERMANY: The Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig has ruled that Bavaria’s restrictions on movement during the coronavirus crisis were “a serious interference with fundamental rights” and “not compatible with the principle of proportionality.”
LIFE: The UK Guardian is under fire for publishing deliberate misinformation about early fetal development in an obvious bid to promote abortion. The photo above is one of a series presented in the article. All of them were labeled as “pregnancy tissue” from various early stages of gestation. None of them included the fetus.
MEDIA: Following the deadly shooting at Club Q, the Left Stream rushed to cast the shooter as a right-winger who had been inflamed to hate by other right-wingers. Once the shooter’s identity as one of their own came out, the Left lost interest in the story.
Funny thing how they’re reacting, given their “how dare you question” attitude toward sex felons and mediocre male athletes who claim to be women. Why is it okay to question the shooter as “just preparing a defense” when those other two categories are just as likely to be faking it so they can be housed with preferred prey or win trophies and score scholarships?
MOSQUITOES: Scientists have modified male mosquitoes and let them loose to mate with wild females. Their female offspring inherit a gene that prevents them from maturing, when they would otherwise start biting humans and spreading deadly diseases. A pilot release showed the local mosquito population was decreased by 96% over 11 months.
One hopes scientists will be cautious about employing widespread release of these males, since mosquitoes are important pollinators for thousands of plant species and serve as an important food source for birds and many aquatic species.
This is what the FAUXTUS White House sent out before Thanksgiving, because apparently picking fights is what Dems think family holidays should be about.

GEORGIA: The state’s Supreme Court has overturned a lower court ruling, reinstating the state’s ban on abortions after six weeks, which is roughly when a baby’s heartbeat can be detected.
ICE CUBE: The rapper and actor says he was dropped from Sony Pictures’ comedy “Oh Hell No” due to his refusal to get the ‘rona jab. The part would have earned him $9 million.
