Bits & Bytes

ABORTION: Item One – On Tuesday the House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations held a hearing entitled “Roe Reversal: The Impacts of Taking Away the Constitutional Right to an Abortion.” One of the Republicans’ witnesses, Dr. Christina Francis, the CEO-elect of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, attempted to show the photo above.

The photo shows a 21-week fetus undergoing in utero surgery to correct spina bifida. The image has not only been published in magazines and passed around the internet, but was also a central display in a hearing 19 years ago in the Senate Subcommittee on Science, Technology and Space. The baby boy is now 22 years old. On Tuesday, Democrats refused to look at the image, lest it offend their pro-abortion eyeballs.

Item Two – Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-MI, has used her line-item veto to cut $20 million in state funding for adoption agencies and pregnancy centers, claiming they are “anti-choice.

Item Three – Amazing that a comedian has managed to come up with a good routine about abortion. CLICK https://twitter.com/legendaryenergy/status/1550181134658637827 [1:50]. His cake analogy is priceless. And spot on. According to Not the Bee, “This guy isn’t pro-life. He’s not a Christian. He’s not a conservative. He’s a foul-mouthed Hollywood comedian telling it like it is. Good comedy is based in truth, and Burr hits it on the head.”

AOC: In 2012, AOC founded Brook Avenue Press, a publishing house that sought designers, artists, and writers from urban areas to help paint The Bronx in a positive way in children’s stories. The company dissolved four years later. In 2017, the New York Tax Department filed a warrant against the defunct business for $1,618.36 in unpaid taxes. She hasn’t done anything about it. With fines and interest, the balance is now $2,088.78, which I’m guessing is a lot less than that “Tax the Rich” designer dress and ticket to the Met gala cost. She says she doesn’t have to pay it, because it was “issued in error.” Last I heard, she hasn’t paid her school loans either. Were they also “issued in error”? Or does she just think she’s better than the unwashed masses she presumes to rule?

CATHOLIC: [7:42] – In 1982, Saint then-Pope John Paul II established Opus Dei as the Catholic Church’s first personal prelature under the leadership of its own bishop. The conservative group has traditionally focused on the sanctification and salvation of souls rather than on the New World Order concerns close to Pope Francis’s heart, such as climate change. Last week, in a move widely interpreted as a backhanded slap to the group, Francis demoted the leader of Opus Dei from bishop to priest.

CLIMATE: [1:35] – Lightning hit a wind turbine in Texas and set it ablaze. And it turns out that these “green” wind turbines burn hot and dirty, because they contain approximately 800 gallons of oil in the gearbox and nearly 1,300 gallons of mineral oil in the transformer.

DEMOCRATS: Pelosi’s Democrat House has refused dozens and dozens of times to even discuss a Born-Alive Protection bill. Now she says that a Republican resolution condemning violence by pro-abortion activists against churches and pro-life pregnancy centers is “unAmerican.”. Click https://twitter.com/chadgilmartinca/status/1537458599538085894 [:43].

EDUCATION: Christopher Rufo reports, “Los Angeles Unified School District has adopted a radical gender-theory curriculum instructing teachers to work toward the ‘breakdown of the gender binary,’ to experiment with gender pronouns such as ‘they,’ ‘ze,’ and ‘tree,’ and to adopt ‘trans-affirming’ programming to make their classrooms ‘queer all school year.‘” Maybe the reason kids are being treated like sex objects by their teachers is that their teachers are so busy obsessing about sex instead of, you know, teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic.

EPIC: Definitely the right guy at the right place at the right time. The next time somebody says you don’t need more than seven rounds, remind then that Eli used ten to bring down this evil perp … who was carrying 100!

FAUXTUS: CLICK https://twitter.com/tpostmillennial/status/1550573692807249921 [:16] to hear how the Big Boy cleaned his plate. And then, did they pat him on the head and give him a cookie?

GEORGIA: [4:49] – The Byron Georgia Police Department has released new body camera video from Friday’s dramatic arrest of Sierra Hibbert. The 24-year-old has been charged with aggravated assault after recklessly driving, hitting multiple people and patrol cars. Keep in mind while watching this footage that there was a small child in Hibbert’s car while she was pulling this crap.

MASKS: Both Singapore and New Zealand have ultra-strict mask mandates. Both have higher ‘rona case numbers per million than Australia, where compulsory mask rules have been abandoned in most indoor settings.

MONKEYPOX: The WHO has declared monkeypox “a public health emergency of international concern” – the strongest call to action the agency can make. This despite the fact that nearly 100% of cases have been transmitted via men having sex with men. Even worse, a new global study found that 41% of those infected have HIV … and are still sexually active. Methinks that, if the only thing these selfish twats passed on is monkeypox, then their partners got lucky (this time).

PORTLAND: The homeless crisis is unbelievable.

SADS: A former Notre Dame/Denver Broncos football star went for a run last week and dropped dead. He was 35. His widow says, “We will have a medical examination to understand [the] cause of death.”

If it was the vaxxx, good luck getting them to admit it or letting you tell anyone else.

ST LOUIS: On Wednesday, the jury found David Dorn’s killer guilty of first-degree murder. The retired St. Louis police captain was shot outside Lee’s Jewelry & Pawn shop when he showed up to stop violence and looting during the post-Floyd BLM riots.

VAXXX: CLICK https://twitter.com/pearsonsharp/status/1550188573340471296 [:06] to see Slow Joe emphatically swear to us that you will not get COVID if you are vaxxxed. He’s been jabbed four times. He’s got COVID.

Electric Vehicles

[5:11] – Pete Bootyjudge wants half of all personal vehicles in the U.S. to be electric by 2030. And Pete Bootyjudge thinks it’s doable. But Democrats are not serious people. And Pete Bootyjudge is a certifiable moron.

If I understood him correctly, he means half of ALL personal vehicles, not just of new sales. There are about 107 million cars operating in the U.S. Maybe 1 million of them are EVs, which means Mayor Pete wants something like 53 million of all the fossil fueled cars currently on the road to be scrapped and replaced with new electric vehicles. [Let us pause while I spew yogurt out my nose.]

In 2021, about 15 million new cars were sold in the U.S., with EVs accounting for about 6%. If the sources I used are accurate and I did the math right, we’re talking about maybe 1 million new EVs are currently rolling off the available factory floors. Even if Mayor Pete is only talking about half of all new vehicles, he’s talking about a massive production expansion over the next 8 years.

Maybe it’s doable with major, major investment to retool enough factories. But what about battery production and the mining needed to support it? According to the Clean Technica article linked below, “It takes one or two years to get a battery production plant up and running. [But] before the battery production process, you have to produce the components of the batteries, like the cathodes, and you have to create the compounds that go into the cathodes. [And] before any of that, you need to mine the raw minerals. [But] it takes at least 5–7 years to get a mine operational and there has been a lack of investment in the mining.”

And what happened to “mining is evil”? Why is it okay to exploit workers and damage the environment to remove non-renewable minerals from the parts of Mother Earth that are under foreign countries, but not to safely and ethically remove fossil fuels from under our own soil? Plus, from what I’ve heard, the entire global reservoir of these non-renewable components is insufficient to provide EVs to half the people who currently own cars.

The other mega problem Mayor Pete ignores with his fairy dust economics is that an electric car uses four times the amount of electricity per day that an air conditioner uses. So while they’re telling us to cut back on our a/c use, because summer heat is putting too much of a drain on electricity production, they are also telling us to buy electric cars “to save the planet.” Puh-leeze.

But maybe Pete is right. Maybe if we try very, very hard … and maybe squeeze our eyes shut tight, stick out our tongues, clap our hands, and just believe … we’ll succeed in switching half our cars to EV by 2030.

To be honest, I don’t think this is about Mayor Pete being stupid, though I suspect that is also true. I think it’s about the Global Elite wanting to deprive us of the independence that cars give us. If they can deprive us of our cars (and our guns), it’ll be a whole lot easier for them to manipulate, control, exploit, and abuse us … which IMO is the whole point of the fake “climate crisis.”

1A: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/watch?v=2275806362577381 [7:07] to hear Ted Cruz expose the Democrats’ history of trying to squash our free speech rights.

2A: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=560652618865155 [5:38] to hear a congressman who actually understands guns explain some basic facts to the idiot Democrats who want to disarm Americans by any means, fair or foul. They get way off topic there for a while, but if you pay attention, you’ll notice that not a single Democrat on that committee ever served in the military.

ABORTION: Matt Vespa notes that both Democrat positions and the whackos they use to try and make their case are way outside the mainstream. Case in point – Paulina Guerrero, one of four “expert” witnesses they picked for last Tuesday’s Dobbs hearing. Libs of TikTok noted, “When Paulina isn’t working as a National Program Manager at an abortion clinic, she spends her free time making YouTube videos conducting witch spells and engaging in furry play.” It looks like Libs of TikTok scored another win, because all the videos have been removed.

BORDER: Not only has the FAUX administration been flying illegal border crossers into the U.S. interior, but it has also been allowing them to use arrest warrants and deportation notices as forms of identification to board U.S. flights.

DEBUNKING: [23:07] – Insane viral videos that can be either awfully messy, expensive, or dangerous to the point of lethality. Our kids need to learn to be skeptical about this stuff.

FAUXTUS: A Facebook account purporting to be the White House posted this – “Under this Administration, the current drop in gas prices remains one of the fastest declines in over a decade.

Gas prices have declined by an average of nearly 60 cents since their peak last month, and the average gasoline price is now $3.99 or less in four states.” It has 72K comments on it that range from “tone deaf” to “worst administration in history.” My personal fave is, “Is this the Onion or really someone at the White House?

GET WOKE: Go broke.

KINDNESS: When God moves you to do something, just do it. ❤ Speaking of kindness, my daughters and I have been doing a group text about the Christmas that Dearest was out of work. It was the year Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait and the bottom fell out of the building industry. As an architect, he is at the beginning of the design process, so we felt it right away as nervous clients canceled their plans for new construction. He was out of work for a full year, so that Christmas, our church and the kids’ Catholic school (different parishes) both put us on their food basket and tree tag lists. I mentioned that my most poignant memory was the pogo stick. “I don’t know how they found out you wanted one, but I was so touched. It was way above and beyond the tree tag thing and you girls were so thrilled.” Army Princess wrote back with the name of the church lady who had gotten it. “She hid behind Santa at the parish Christmas party to hear what we wanted.” I need a tissue.

NEW YORK: On Thursday, Lee Zeldin, the Republican candidate for New York governor, was attacked during a campaign speech near Rochester. Thankfully, he escaped injury and was even able to finish his speech. His assailant was apprehended, charged with attempted assault in the second degree, and released on his own recognizance.

In Democrat World, jumping on a stage and attempting to stab a Republican is a no-bail, get-out-of-jail-free offense. HOW many J6 defendants are STILL rotting in jail waiting trial for walking around the Capitol Building without a pass?

TEACHERS: Public education has outstripped the Catholic Church for sexual predation of minors … by a lot. Between January 1 and June 30, 181 of them have been arrested for sex crimes ranging from child pornography to raping students. That works out to one per day. One teacher in Hawaii got busted for recording his sexual escapades with a 13-year-old student and then sharing them on a messenger app.

VAXXX: [13:42] – Dr. John Campbell goes over brand new data out of Singapore showing that the risks associated with vaxxxing 5-11-year-olds are many times higher than the benefits.

Garabandal

Between 1961 and 1965, four girls in San Sebastian de Garabandal, a hamlet in northern Spain, received thousands of visions and locutions from Our Lady. Though the apparitions have not been formally approved by the Church, they were accompanied by a vast number of phenomena that defy natural explanation. Those also do not prove that something is from God, since the devil can pull off some pretty impressive parlor tricks. But they were well documented as legit, not magic tricks, so something supernatural happened. And both St. Pio of Pietrelcina (aka, Padre Pio) and St. Teresa of Calcutta (aka, Mother Teresa) believed the source was Heaven.

Another important sign that the visions were authentic is that aspects of the messages Our Lady gave to named Mari Loli, Jacinta, Mari Cruz, and Conchita have come true. For example, on June 18, 1965, Conchita reported Our Lady told her, “Many cardinals, bishops, and priests are following the road to perdition, and with them, they are taking many more souls. Even less importance is being given to the Holy Eucharist.” At the time, the idea seemed preposterous. Now we know how the Freemasons and homosexual priests, bishops, and cardinals were actively working from within to destroy the Church.

In 1963, Our Lady told Conchita that after Pope John XXIII (who had just died), there would be four popes, one of whom would govern the Church for only a very short time. This latter statement was confirmed in the 33-day-long pontificate of Pope John Paul I. After that, Our Lady said, “Then it will be the end of times.” That suggests the “end of times” began with the elevation of Pope Francis in 2013.

The girls also reported that Our Lady told them about the Warning, which many Catholic mystics have also told us about. (N.b., it is also known as the Illumination of Conscience.) Conchita described it as a “correction of conscience” during which everyone in the world will be given a revelation of the state of their souls before God. “We will see the consequences of our sins and will feel sorrow for them. The Warning will be a moment of great grace for mankind, a true penetration of the Holy Spirit into our inmost hearts, but it will be a traumatic event when we recognize the gravity of our sins and our distance from God.”

Conchita reported that everything will happen “when communism comes again.” When questioned if this meant that communism would go away before then, Conchita replied, “I don’t know, the Blessed Virgin simply said, ‘when communism comes again.’” In the 1960s, “communism” basically meant the Soviet Union and there was no reason a bunch of school girls could or would predict that it would go away, much less go away and then come back again. Yet we saw the Soviet Union fall apart very suddenly in the 90s, and now, with Putin’s aggression in Ukraine, it seems he wants to bring it back.

Mari Loli said the Warning will occur at a time when “Russia will suddenly and unexpectedly overrun and overwhelm a great part of the free world. … Some priests who are communists will create such confusion that people will not know right from wrong.” Jacinta said, “The Warning itself will occur when the situation will be at its worst.” Conchita said, “The Pope will go to Russia, to Moscow and after his return to the Vatican, hostilities will break out in different parts of Europe.” Pope Francis has said several times recently that he hopes to go to Moscow as soon as possible.

In 1962, Conchita told her aunt that Our Lady said these things would come to pass at a time when an important Synod was being held in the Church. On October 9, 2021, Pope Francis launched a two year long, global synod during which the entire church is called to reflect on its life and mission in the third millennium. It will close in 2023.

The girls also predicted something that seemed ridiculous, if not impossible in the 1960s, namely that churches would close and the faithful would be prevented from receiving the sacraments. Who would have ever thought it possible, even one day prior to actually seeing it happen, that bishops all over the world would willingly shutter churches for COVID?

Our Lady also told the girls that, within a year after the Warning, a great Miracle will occur in Garabandal. The sick who are there on that day will be cured, unbelievers will be converted, and Russia and other countries will be converted. The Miracle will be seen over the area of The Pines and will be visible from all the surrounding mountainside which will serve as a natural amphitheater to hold the crowds.

Conchita knows the date, which she will announce to the world eight days in advance. Over the years, she has dropped a few hints about the date. “It will take place on or between the eighth and sixteenth of March, April or May. It will not happen in February or June. It will be on a Thursday at 8:30 p.m. It will coincide with a great ecclesiastical event in the Church. It will be on the Feast-day of a young martyred saint of the Eucharist.” Note: I don’t know when the t.v. interview in the video below happened, but it was a very rare event and I was charmed by her modesty and beauty.

If The Warning happens this fall (see “Get yourselves prayed up, people!” @ https://polination.wordpress.com/2022/06/16/get-yourselves-prayed-up-people/), then the clues Conchita gave would have to fit a date in 2023. I looked up next spring’s calendar to find the dates of the Thursdays between the eighths and sixteenths of March, April, or May. On the liturgical calendar, these are all just ordinary Thursdays. But Conchita said, “It will coincide with a great ecclesiastical event”, which suggests it will have something to do with the organization or government of the Roman Catholic Church, not the liturgical calendar or feast days. If I hear about something special being scheduled, I’ll be sure to let you know!

I also looked up all the saints for those five Thursdays and found one who fit the bill, Saint Hermenegild of Spain. Hermenegild was raised in the Arian heresy by his father, King Leovigild the Visigoth of Spain. (Garabandal is also in Spain.) When he converted to Catholicism, his father had him imprisoned, demanding that he return to Arianism. On Easter in 586, the king had an Arian bishop take him communion. When Hermenegild refused to receive Holy Eucharist from the heretical priest, the king ordered his son’s execution. Note that, if the Garabandal Miracle is going to happen next April, the eighth day before his feast day, when Conchita would be making her announcement, will be Passover.

Our Lady also told the girls that following the Miracle, a permanent Sign will appear at the site of the Miracle, “a thing never before seen upon the earth,” to prove to everyone the authenticity of the Catholic faith. It will be possible to photograph, film, and televise the Sign, but not to touch or to destroy it.

This is all strikingly similar to the Third Secret that the visionaries at Medjugorje have received. Their permanent sign will appear on the Hill of Apparitions. Like Conchita, they know when it will happen, but are not allowed to say. And like the Garabandal visionaries, it will be possible to see and photograph the sign, but not to touch it. I’ve often wondered if the two signs will be connected somehow, especially since, in addition to both being remote mountain villages, San Sebastian de Garabandal, Spain, and Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina, are at the exact same latitude – 43°12′N!

Bits & Bytes

BORDER: FAUXTUS doesn’t want us to know how many illegals are dying while trying to sneak across his porous border. Crossing deaths along the southern border from FY1998 to FY2020 were reported to Congress; 300 illegals died crossing in FY2019, 247 in FY2000.

Reporting stopped once the Biden administration took over CBP. The Epoch Times has made multiple requests to CBP for the missing data, which you’d think would be FOIA fodder. CBP doesn’t respond. Doing some actual journalism has turned up that 111 illegals have died while crossing just during June. And another 53 died in that awful abandoned tractor-trailer they found outside San Antonio.

In Texas, Brooks County Sheriff’s Deputy Don White routinely walks a route illegals use to evade law enforcement. In 2020, he found 34 dead migrants. Last year, he found 130. He’s up to 64 this year.

CATHOLIC: [7:22] – Be sure to listen prayerfully to the video if you are bothered about things like Cardinal Dolan endorsing Fr. James Martin’s dissident LGBT activism and, even worse, the Louisiana Conference of Catholic Bishops (LCCB) coming out in favor of the abortifacient “morning after” pill in cases of rape. It will help.

CDC: Since the pandemic began, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has touted the dangers of cruises. On Monday, they suddenly announced they won’t being doing that any more. Call me cynical, but I’m thinking that when it served the Globalist Elites’ agenda of destroying businesses and discouraging the masses from having any fun, they were happy to broadcast case numbers. But now that all-vaxxx cruises have become hotbeds of ‘rona outbreaks, they’re suddenly ready to let the cruise companies “handle their own testing and mitigation.

FAUXTUS: [:41] – Slow Joe seemed to say that he had cancer because of oil refinery emissions. Or something. The White House has clarified the President had had ‘non-melanoma’ skin cancer before taking office last year. I have no idea what oil refineries had to do with it. Also not clear why it’s okay to beg Saudi Arabia to drill and refine our oil, but not for us to do it for ourselves.

FEMS vs. TRANS: Belligerent pro-abortion feminists led the way down the slippery slope, but now they’re being shoved aside by Satan’s new favorite bastard stepchild. In 2019, a 39-year-old British mother was arrested in front of her children and locked up in a cell for “misgendering” a trannie on Twitter, a 74-year-old woman was contacted by the cops in Suffolk and asked to remove social media posts critical of transgenderism, and a British father of four was investigated by police for retweeting a limerick about transgenderism. The graphic above is from that incident.

And it’s getting worse. In 2021, a man in Norway was actually given a 21-day prison sentence and a fine of 15,000 krone for “insulting” and “misgendering” a trans person on Facebook. And now a Norwegian feminist has been charged with hate crimes for tweeting a trannie, “You are a man. You cannot be a mother. To normalize the idea that men can be mothers is a defined form of discrimination against women.” If convicted, she could face up to three years in prison.

FORMULA: On July 18, the New York Post reported that the shortages are worse than ever. The article notes, “If you’re in a WIC program and your state’s contracted with Similac that’s all you can buy. So if Similac is not on the shelf, you’re out of luck.”

GAY MARRIAGE: Forty-seven House Republicans joined the Democrats in voting to codify same-sex marriage into law. The bill now heads to the Senate, where 10 Republican votes are needed to overcome the filibuster threshold.

MASKS: A new study that cultured used face masks found 99% of the samples had bacterial colonies growing on the inside of the mask, while 94% had them on the outside as well. In addition, 79% of the samples had fungal colonies on the inside, while 95% had them on the outside. (Those numbers are right; I doubled checked. More bacteria inside; more fungus outside.)

Most of the species were non-pathogenic, but some – like staphylococcus aureus, bacillus cereus, staphylococcus saprophyticus, and pseudomonas luteola – are dangerous.

Several studies of mask usage failed to find any positive correlation with mask wearing and, in some studies, there appeared to be harmful consequences. In fact, a German researcher found that areas with mask mandate had ∼50% more deaths than areas without them.

OPPRESSION THEATER: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=601961017957818 [5:50] to see NewsMax report. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said of AOC’s publicity stunt, “That’s pretty much what she is and that’s what she’s been the entire time she’s been a member of Congress.

ROE: The so-called “Pink House” was Mississippi’s last remaining abortion facility and home to the former Jackson Women’s Health Organization of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization fame.

VAXXX: We’ve all seen how people who got the jabs are now getting the ‘rona in huge numbers. A Yale epidemiology professor explains why this is happening. The mRNA experimental inoculants produced by Pfizer and Moderna both send messenger RNA into muscle cells, where it teaches them to produce a piece of the original spike protein. This in turn triggers the production of antibodies.

BUT, the original spike protein is long gone so, unlike true natural immunity, which reacts to the whole of the virus instead of just one teensy piece of it, vaxxx-generated antibodies are not only useless against the mutant ‘ronas, but actually interfere with the immune system’s efforts to fight them.

GRAMMY NOTES: “Marian year” is a designation given by the Catholic Church to calendar years in which the Blessed Mother of Our Lord is to be particularly reverenced and celebrated. These do not follow a set pattern and may be declared locally by a bishop for his diocese or by a national conference of bishops for a country. In Church history, only two global Marian years have been pronounced. I was born in Mary’s Month (May), during the first one in 1954, which was promulgated by Pope Pius XII. The other, declared by Pope John Paul II, was in 1987.

Bits & Bytes

2A: The Greenwood Mall shooter (whose name I will not repeat) follows the pattern for mass shooters – young, male, and fatherless. And since he brought 100 bullets with him, he clearly planned to do as much damage as possible before he either escaped or was killed.

Naturally, this means nothing to gun control activists who are weeping and gnashing their teeth because Eli Dicken killed the shooter before he could give them a politically beneficial pile of bloody victims. Where normal people think what Dicken did was heroic, anti-gun activists are angrily condemning him as a “vigilante” and bitching about how somebody called him a “Good Samaritan” when everybody knows the Good Samaritan in the Bible story didn’t kill anyone. He did save a life though … not that they care. Plus, the term “Good Samaritan” actually has a legal, not just a scriptural, definition:

The Good Samaritan Law is a law that protects civilians who help people they believe to be injured or otherwise in danger. … The law defines ‘duty to act’ as a person using any available remedy to prevent harm from coming to an individual person, or to the public at large. … In the case of a Good Samaritan, an individual creates a duty to act by voluntarily inserting himself into a situation. By assigning responsibility to himself for the wellbeing of another person, the individual now has a duty to act to see his remedy through to the end.

Another thing these pathetic excuses for humanity are harping on is that Dicken was supposedly carrying his weapon in the mall “illegally.” Yes, the mall has a “no guns” policy, but that is all it is. A policy. And it’s not enforceable, because the actual law gives citizens the right to carry. James Ison, the Greenwood Police Chief, specifically said Dicken was “legally armed.”

He engaged the gunman from quite a distance with a handgun — was very proficient in that, very tactically sound and as he moved to close in on the suspect he was also motioning for people to exit behind him. Many more people would have died last night if not for a responsible armed citizen that took action very quickly within the first two minutes of the shooting.” [Actually, it was more like 15 seconds!]

Dicken killed the shooter within 15 second of the first shot. And of the ten bullets Dicken fired, eight hit the target. From 40 feet away! To my mind, the most notable fact is that Indiana’s new constitutional carry law only went into effect on July 1, 2022 … just 17 days before the shooting.

ABORTION: CLICK https://twitter.com/rncresearch/status/1549469119740796938 [:55] to hear Democrat Rep. Kathleen Rice insist we stop “throwing the word abortion around” because the word has been “weaponized” and will thus “prevent a meaningful conversation from happening.”

After pointing out that we thought it was supposed to be cool and edgy to “Shout Your Abortion,” tweeters suggested “infanticide” or “murder” would make good substitutes for the big, bad weapon word. One noted, “It’s not the word that’s the problem. It’s the killing.”

BIRX: Remember the COVID Task Force doctor with the pretty scarves? She’s written a book. An article at Red State says it’s “about her one-person attack on our form of government and our economy under the guise of saving us from the Wuhan virus.” Michael Sanger says the book has “earned rave reviews from Chinese state media.”

CATHOLIC: Eighteen nuns from the Missionaries of Charity – the order founded by Mother Teresa – were escorted out of Nicaragua by police after the Nicaraguan Parliament revoked their legal status on June 28. The order of sisters has been operating in the country since 1998, running a home for abused and abandoned girls, a children’s nursery, and a nursing home. The move is apparently retribution by President Daniel Ortega whose human rights abuses the Catholic Church has condemned.

COVID-19: While everybody was distracted by Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s resignation, the British government quietly issued a report confirming that the vaxxxed account for 94% of all COVID-19 deaths since April and that 90% had had one or even two boosters.

FAUXTUS: [13:08] – Nothing new here. Best comment on the video: “Biden reminds me of the Monty Python ‘Dead Parrot’ sketch: we are the customer pointing out that the old bird we were sold is deceased, while the democrats, RINOs and MSM are the shopkeeper trying to convince us otherwise. The sketch was funny, the reality… well, isn’t.” – Richard Wysocki

FAVORITISM: More than 300 people are still awaiting trial for walking around the capitol building without permission on January 6th. Meanwhile, nine staffers for Stephen Colbert’s show who were recently arrested for walking around the capitol building without permission will be facing zero consequences.

MEDIA: [4:21] – Why on earth are they surprised that we don’t trust them?! It’s not like they don’t lie to us on a DAILY basis. Tuesday’s Big Fat Lie – CLICK https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1549407807816056834 [1:32] to hear CNN report that women who are miscarrying or suffering an ectopic pregnancy “are struggling to receive treatment in some states & doctors are fearing prosecution.”

S&G: When the FAUX administration issued a directive that would force schools and workplaces to allow trans people to use the bathrooms of their choice, twenty state attorneys general sued. On Friday, US District Judge Charles Atchley Jr. issued a temporary injunction on the feds until the matter can be resolved by the courts.

Our Lady of Las Lajas

The story of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Las Lajas began in 1754, when a village woman named María and her little deaf-mute daughter Rosa were resting near a cave on their walk between two villages. The little girl ran into the cave and began to shout, “Mommy, there is a woman in here with a boy in her arms!”

The mother was terrified, because the locals believed the caves in that area were haunted. But then Maria found Rosa in the cave, kneeling in front of a splendid woman and playing affectionately with a child. Maria fell to her knees, understanding that she was not seeing ghosts, but the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Child Jesus.

Fearful of ridicule, Maria kept quiet about the event. But, frequently, she and Rosa went to the cave to place wild flowers and candles in the cracks of the rocks. Some time later, Rosa became gravely ill and died. The whole village knew she was dead and were preparing her funeral when her mother took her body to the cave to ask Our Lady to restore Rosa to life. And young Rosa awoke in perfect health.

Their friends and neighbors were overwhelmed with awe and went to the cave themselves. That was when the miraculous image on the wall of the grotto was discovered. It had not been there before. In it Mary appears as a Latin American. (The crowns were added later.) She is giving a rosary to St. Dominic, while the child Jesus is giving the Franciscan cord to St. Francis. These two orders, the Franciscans and the Dominicans, are the founders of the two Orders that first evangelized Colombia, South America.

Geologists have drilled several feet into the stone, taking core samples from several spots in the image. What they discovered is amazing. The colors of the image penetrate deep into the rock! There are no pigments or brush strokes on the surface of the rock. The colors are the colors of the rock itself. The miraculous image can still be seen today, behind the main altar of the beautiful church that was literally built around it. Because the image is in a cave on a mountain side, the church had to be built over the canyon on giant pillars.

Bits & Bytes

1A: In 2017, Southwest Airlines fired a flight attendant for posting anti-abortion messages on her Facebook page. A jury in Dallas has awarded her $5.3 million in damages. If the verdict withstands appeal, she will get $4.1 million from the airline, plus $950,000 from the union that failed to defend her.

BIBLE: A recent survey divided American respondents into three groups: Scripture Engaged (consistently interact with the Bible), Scripture Disengaged (minimal interaction), and Movable Middle (sporadic interaction).

The survey then asked about the priorities of things like welcoming immigrants into one’s community, befriending people of other races, befriending people of other religions, caring for those who are in prison, caring for the environment, advocating for those who are oppressed by society, and generally being a good neighbor. The survey also asked about civic participation and mental health.

Across the board, the Scripture Engaged scored consistently higher, with the Scripture Disengaged scoring lowest and the Movable Middles scoring in between.

BORDER: Between January and June, 2022, more than 2 million illegals from more than 150 countries were encountered or apprehended at the U.S. southern border. This is the largest number in U.S. history.

Mayor “You’re a Raaacist” Bowser was all kinds of tolerant about illegals flooding into the country … until Arizona and Texas starting bussing them to her back yard. On Sunday, she reported that D.C.’s homeless shelters are overwhelmed. I think I just heard Greg Abbott snicker.

Meanwhile, far from trying to stem the tide, the FAUXTUS administration is trying to expand it by making it easier for illegals to come in by air.

COVID-19: Hospitals that mandated the ‘rona jab for all employees lost hundreds of employees who refused the experimental protocol. And now that the stupid vaxxxines are proving to have a negative impact on immunity, the remaining staff members, the ones who accepted the experimental injections, are getting COVID-19, leaving hospitalS with critical staff shortages.

ENERGY: FAUXTUS went to Saudi Arabia to ask them to pretty please increase their output. They told him to go suck an egg. Then the price of crude went up.

FAUXTUS: When prices were going up, Slow Joe said he couldn’t do anything about it. It was Putin’s fault and those eeeevil gas station owners who were doing it. Now they’re down a smitch (most likely because he raided our wartime reserve again), he’s spiking the football. Plus, you know, we’re not “saving” $25 a month on gas; we’re paying hundreds more per month than we did when Trump was in office. But, phew, no more mean tweets, right?

GOOD GUY WITH GUN: The anti-2d Amendment crowd are weeping and gnashing their teeth over the Good Samaritan’s swift take down of a wannabe mass shooter at the Greenwood Park Mall in Greenwood, Indiana, on Sunday. Their arguments make no sense, of course. But then, neither do the idiotic things lefties are saying about Roe. Click if you must, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.

PERSECUTION: In Egypt, Muslims outnumber Christians 9 to 1. In general, Egyptian Christians are treated as second-class citizens, with outright persecution ranging from Christian women being harassed while walking in the street to Christian communities being driven out of their homes by extremist mobs. In April, a Coptic Priest was stabbed to death and another Christian man was shot 22 times and killed.

Many Muslims believe it is illegal for Christians to repair old or build new churches or to operate social services. So whenever a church is built, legalized, or repaired — or is merely rumored to be built, legalized, or repaired — local Muslims riot and attack the Copts. Authorities frequently respond by appeasing the rioters and rescinding the church’s legal status, effectively shutting it down.

NPR: On Friday, National Public Radio (NPR) announced the creation of a “Disinformation Reporting Team.” This is the same “news” organization (funded by tax dollars) that once published an article about why they would not report on Hunter Biden’s laptop, that depicted Jussie Smollett as a victim of white supremacist Trump lovers, and that called the protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin “peaceful” and the two career criminals who tried to kill Kyle Rittenhouse “daily fixtures at the protests against police shootings and racial inequality.”

PROGRESSIVE BOSSES: Staffers in 8 U.S. House offices have filed to form the first union in Congress. They all work for “justice” Democrats like AOC and Ilhan Omar. Organizers say that a culture of abuse sparked their move, citing excessive work loads for pay so low that some are on food stamps and can’t afford rent.

PUBLIC EDUCATION: A new Gallup poll shows that only 28% of Americans have a “great deal/quite a lot” of confidence in the public school system. It was 62% in 1975.

The New York City public school system is the largest in the country with approximately 760K students. Over the past five years, they’ve lost 120,000 students and, this fall, expect 28K+ fewer to enroll. Meanwhile, charter and private schools are growing rapidly.

SAN FRANCISCO: On June 7, voters recalled the leftist DA that George Soros helped get elected. The new DA, Brooke Jenkins, has been busy cleaning house, firing at least 15 employees from the prosecutor’s office who are soft on crime. One of them whined in a statement that she had been “the highest-ranking Latina/LGBTQ member of the management team at that office.” I’m thinking that right there tells you all you need to know about her priorities.

VAXXX: In many other parts of the world, live birth rates took a suddenly nose dive in January of 2022. The change started nine months after people of child-bearing age started to be vaxxxed. Igor Chudov noted that, in Germany, where nothing significant happened with abortion laws, the rate of abortions also declined, suggesting unplanned conceptions also declined.

Of course, the PTBs are claiming it’s got nothing to do with the vaxxx. And if the birth rate drops even further, in line with the increased numbers who got the jab, I’m sure they’ll blame climate change. Meanwhile, in secret rooms around the world, Global Elites are laughing and drinking toasts to the success of their plan to reduce the world’s population.

VIOLENCE: Three of the teachers in the Sheltered English Immersion program at Charlestown High School in Boston are busily indoctrinating immigrant ninth- and tenth-graders with left-wing, anti-American, pro-violence propaganda. The curricula are allegedly part of the Humanities program. Once upon a time, public education was about producing good citizens; now it’s about producing angry rebels.

Bits & Bytes

CLIMATE: CNN contributor and Atlantic senior editor Ron Brownstein published a piece in his rag in which he blamed summer on Republicans in general and on Joe Manchin, who represents coal-rich West Virginia, in particular. According to Brownstein, heat waves, wildfires, and drought are signs that “Mother Nature is entering a dissenting opinion on last month’s Supreme Court decision that weakened the federal government’s ability to combat climate change.” Do they actually believe this crap or is it just the Virtue Signal du Jour?

GOOD GUY WITH GUN: At 6 pm on Sunday evening, a man armed with a rifle and several magazines of ammo opened fire inside the Greenwood Park Mall in Indiana. A 22-year-old civilian who was legally carrying took him out almost as soon as he began. His quick action limited the shooter’s carnage to three dead and two injured.

POISON IVY: If you come into contact with poison ivy, you can avoid getting a rash by first removing all your clothes and putting them immediately into a hot wash. Then wash yourself with soap, hot water, and a wash cloth, using lots of each, on any area that may have touched the plant or anything that touched the plant. Remember that the oil transfers. Your pets can bring it inside on their fur!

Soap and hot water aren’t enough; you also need the friction of scrubbing. If in doubt, slather your skin with cooking oil, which will be easier to see than the poison ivy oil; then, scrub until that’s all gone. Don’t forget between your fingers! If you’ve got some, that stuff mechanics use to get oil off their hands probably works great.

And do NOT burn the plant. The oil goes into the smoke and you can get a poison ivy rash INSIDE your throat and lungs! Bundle it into plastic trash bags and send it to the landfill.

TRANS: Democrats are idiots. A biological male who is doing a 30-year bid in prison for manslaughter up and decided he’s a woman, cuz hmmm maybe he figured being locked up with women would be more fun? So anyway, New Jersey, being a Dumbocrat haven, sent him to a women’s prison, where he impregnated two of his fellow prisoners in what they say was consensual sex. So they’ve moved him out of the women’s prison … and into Garden State Youth Correctional Facility, a prison for young adult offenders. He’s 27 years old, but I suppose if he identifies as a juvenile … anything to avoid spending decades locked up with other men who are, you know, like, criminals, right? cuz never mind he killed somebody.

VAXXX: A recent study found that 42% of vaxxxed women who were having regular menstrual cycles at the time bled more heavily than usual after their COVID-19 vaccination, while 14% said they bled more lightly. Many of the women surveyed who do not menstruate (due to menopause or certain long-term contraceptives) experienced breakthrough or unexpected bleeding after the jabs. The survey included more than 39,000 women, 18 to 80 years old, who were fully vaccinated and had not contracted COVID-19.

GRAMMY NOTES: Fortunately, I had mostly finished breakfast when I got this text from Mama Buzz cuz ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ::gaspchoke:: I’m sorry that WordPress doesn’t have the breadth of goofy face emojis her phone has, cuz they added a lot to the experience. Try to use your imagination …

It’s after 10pm and here is the question Bunny gave me ‘what’s a virgin?’ (thankfully I know it’s because she reads and hears about Virgin Mary) Since she also hasn’t asked about how babies are made etc, I had the awkward ‘joy’ of explaining sex as well. Then, Bootz pipes up, ‘OK so how are babies made?’ Oh boy, these kids with their late night questions!I tried to explain as honestly but cleanly as possible. I also briefly touched on how, sadly, not everyone has sex the way God intended and that it should only be done within marriage, husband and wife with each other and no one else. And I made a point to thank them for bringing their questions to me and if they wanted to know more, maybe we could have those convos during the day.”

I replied, “Well done, Mama Bear! I remember a gal in my studio painting class saying her kid had asked ‘Where did I come from?’, and after she explained all the mechanics, he said, ‘Oh. Well, Charlie said he came from Toronto.’”

He likes to remember how strong he had to be

Tonight, after 2.5 years of living here, my oldest son sat down at the table with this.

He was about to chow down when I stopped him and asked what in the world he was doing.

He said, ‘I made myself dinner.’

‘But it isn’t cooked. I can cook that, you know.’

‘Well, I wanted to eat something I used to eat a lot with my old family.’

So, we sat down and I asked him to tell me about it.

He said that they wouldn’t feed him due to being passed out (you can guess why) and he would have to make dinner for himself and his brothers (ages 2 and 4 months when they came to us).

He said that all the money they had would be spent on cigarettes and other ‘fun things’ and so he would find change in their van and buy Ramen packets at the store down the street, at 6 years old!

He said he didn’t know how to boil water, so he would eat it like this. And, he actually grew to like it.

So, he would break it up for his siblings, and would try to make bottles for the baby (at 6!!!!!!).

I asked him to make me some.

I sat there beside him and crunched it down with lots of water because it’s not great…and he just started talking about how the first time I made them Ramen, he wouldn’t eat it and I told him I remembered.

He said it’s because it reminded him of his Ramen packets and he didn’t trust me (big thoughts for 9!).

He said he isn’t sad he’s not with his ‘old family’ (his words) anymore, but that sometimes HE LIKES TO REMEMBER HOW STRONG HE HAD TO BE.

I write this so everyone knows trauma isn’t healed quickly (sometimes never), and adoption doesn’t erase the past or the memories.

Kids can change, and they will change with love, but please never give up on a kid because ‘they are hard.’

I walked away in shock, in sadness, and so so so proud of how strong my baby is. He’s so wonderful. And, we love him so much.
