Nancy Pelosi called the GOP tax plan bill, “Armageddon.”
But the Tax Foundation says it is pro-growth and will
- increase revenues by $600 billion,
- lift the GDP by 1.7%, boost wages by 1.5%, and
- add 339,000 full-time jobs to the economy.
Hardly the end of the world.

Even with the loss of a seat to Jones, Republicans still retain enough of a majority to pass whatever legislation they want, provided all 51 Republican senators vote in lockstep. Senate Republicans passed a budget in October that allows leadership to pass legislation with only 51 “yes” votes and bypass filibusters from Democrats altogether.

Seventy percent of them to Florida. Now, the publisher of the Puerto Rican newspaper says that all of these people are very disappointed in the response of the Trump administration to help Puerto Rico recover. She believes by the end of 2018 there will be nearly 400,000 to 500,000 immigrants — think illegal immigrants — in Florida, and, if 60% of them register Democrat, then Florida ever voting for a Republican presidential candidate may be lost for as long as we can see.
