FiveThirtyEight thought it would be a great idea to solicit abortion stories on Christmas. It didn’t go quite as they hoped. A few of the replies were of the “hurray, I don’t have to pay child support” or “screw you, I’m glad I aborted” genre. But most were like the sampling below.
“Do you have a murder story? We want to hear from you. Fixed it.”
“Wow, really? On Christmas?”
“Usually, they save this for Mothers’ Day.”
“King Herod approves this Christmas tweet.”
“Sure, Google Kermit Gosnell.”
“Yes, but it’s sort of an alternative history story where your mother aborts you and this article never happens.”
“My mother was forced to have an abortion at age 15. It left lasting physical and emotional damage. Because of it, I was born over 10 weeks early and nearly didn’t survive. My brother was also nearly born that early. She was told she was unable to have more children after that.”
“The doctors advised my mom to abort me as they assumed I’d have a poor life quality, I praise the Lord that she ignored them and that I am here today alive and in good health!! Abortion is wrong, it’s killing an innocent human.”
“We were told our son had a fatal genetic disorder & when my wife refused to abort the doctor sneered, ‘What’re you, religious?!’ He’s a healthy 7 month old now & currently asleep on my shoulder. No genetic issues, though he was born premature and spent some time in the NICU.”
“On Good Friday years ago, about 30 of us carrying large crosses walked 7 times around an abortion clinic in Dallas. A young woman inside saw us, came out weeping, & chose to keep her baby. The abortion clinic went out of business 6 months later & we held a worship service there.”
“My mother wanted to abort me, she was poor and in my country it was a war going on. but procedure failed. Now i have 3 children and I am the only child taking care of her.”
“I know three women that have had abortions. All three were talked into it by someone else. All three say it’s the biggest regret they have in their lives.”
“Got a girl I love pregnant unexpectedly and we got an abortion and have both regretted it every single second since. Worst decision of our lives.”
“When I was in high school, my mom asked me if I would like to be a big brother again? She was pregnant and I could see the joy. My father berated her and threatened her with violence until she had an abortion. It destroyed her.”
“Had multiple abortions. Convinced myself they were just ‘cells’. Got older, got married, had a child. When I saw my child being born, I realized what awful, horrific choices I had made. Forgive us God, for we know not what we do.”
“I feel that to my soul. I weep for my baby that was never born on earth.”
CDC: The “experts” have officially shortened the self-quarantine time for asymptomatic cases from ten days to five.
PoliMath (@politicalmath) tweeted, “Every time you see a story about the federal gov’t changing their COVID response in light of the winter surge, you need to ask, ‘Why are they doing this now instead of during the summer/fall surge? I have my theory and it’s not flattering.
“My theory is that basically everyone working the COVID response at the federal level thought that the South deserved their summer surge, that it was entirely b/c they were too dumb to get vaccinated, so it’s fine to let them suffer.”
Also … I never thought about this until Dan Bongino mentioned it, but apparently the summer disease surge in the south is a thing. Like the winter disease surge in the north (which I’ve lived with all my life), it’s about people staying indoors because of the weather. In the south, summer is too hot; in the north, winter is too cold.
CRAZY KAREN: CLICK https://twitter.com/ATLUncensored/status/1474552407707242498 [1:51] to see the viral video from a Tampa-to-Atlanta Delta flight. The California resident has been charged in Georgia with assaulting by striking, beating, or wounding, a crime which is punishable by a fine and/or up to one year in jail if found guilty.
My fave comments: “Dr. Fauci needs to be censored and perhaps blocked for publicly disagreeing with Dr. Fauci on vaccine development, research, and efficacy.”
“Pity you can only see his top half, and not the furious back peddling going on underneath.”
“Fauci is covering his demonic little arse. It doesn’t work. Hello ADE. I feel the rats are jumping ship.” [Note: ADE is Antibody-Dependent Enhancement, which is when a vaccine makes an infection worse. Scientists have been warning from the get go that the ‘rona jabs could cause this.]
FLU: N.b., This has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the fact that the too-sensitive COVID tests don’t distinguish between the flu and the ‘rona. So shut up.
GASLIGHTENMENT: Over the past week, Facebook and Instagram users have been punished for sharing a quote by one of the leading minds behind the American Revolution.
AZQuotes cites the Thomas Paine quotation as appearing in “Citizen Paine: Thomas Paine’s Thoughts on Man, Government, Society, and Religion” (p.123) John P. Kaminski (2002) Rowman & Littlefield.
LGB: I think the man who called Biden on Christmas and said, “Let’s go, Brandon” to him is the kind of guy who does rude stuff because he thinks he’s a laugh-riot prankster. I dislike bad manners and I hate pranks. But whatever. It’s the Left’s outrage that is the story today. After 5 years of spewing spittle and vicious insults over their Donald “LITERALLY HITLER” Trump, none of these people has any moral authority to complain about what LGB guy said to FAUXTUS… least of all “Fang Banger” Eric Swalwell!
TESLA: A man in Finland decided he’d rather blow up his Tesla than pay the exorbitant bill required to replace its battery. Evidently, a $23,000 bill to replace a battery is par for Tesla’s course. Musk has claimed the total battery replacement should cost between $5,000 and $7,000. But FindMyElectric.com found that the real total is in the $20,000 range.
Another investigation found that Tesla’s claims about battery longevity don’t pan out in real life. But battery issues are not the only problems Tesla vehicle users have encountered. Following nearly a dozen crashes that left one person dead and 17 injured, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opened a formal probe into Tesla’s Autopilot and full self-driving (FSD) systems.
You can see the video at the New York Post link, but it’s more than 8 minutes and in Finnish, with no English subtitles.
VAXXX: The “Fauci is an idiot” screenshot above is from an Epoch Times email alert. He wishes we had a mandate banning the dirty unvaxxxed from boarding airplanes … because that has worked SO well on cruise ships.
WHITE ELEPHANT: Grandma’s reactions are so funny! [:49] – This family did a White Elephant (Yankee Swap or Dirty Santa) theme of “stolen from Grandma’s house.” But rather than go buy the tackiest stuff they could find at the thrift store, they each went and visited Grandma … and secretly swiped something! The video is her reactions to them opening up their loot.
GRAMMY NOTES: I painted this by following along with a free Michele Webber tutorial. I love the way the rose looks like it is raising its arms in joyful adoration. 🙂
PRAYER REQUEST: Our youngest has tested positive for the ‘rona. She’s in her third trimester and, blessedly, past when #2 came way too early, but not yet up to where #1 came a bit too early. Please pray for a mild case that gives her natural immunity and that God’s will be done in regards to us. Dearest spent the holiday with her and her family.
CATHOLIC: The Catholic Church claims to be the one “true” church. But this isn’t to suggest that other churches are false. “True” is meant the way a carpenter uses it. In carpentry, projects must be plumb, level and square to be successful.
Plumb means the vertical pieces are perfectly vertical.
Level means the horizontal pieces are perfectly horizontal.
Square means the corners are all perfect 90° angles.
When all the measurements in a project are plumb, level and square, they are “true.” In the same way, the Catholic Church claims its doctrines are “true.”

CRT: “The fact that Nikole Hannah-Jones has been honored with a MacArthur Foundation ‘genius grant’ and a Pulitzer Prize, and has had the New York Times backing her error-riddled and fundamentally mistaken 1619 Project as a curriculum throughout the United States, tells us that we live in an intellectually degenerate moment in history. That she has been granted an endowed chair (despite no doctorate) and is heading a new center with $20 million in funding at Howard University bespeaks a collapse of standards.” – Thomas Lifson. KWANZAA: “’Kwanzaa’, celebrated exclusively by white liberals, is a fake holiday invented in 1966 by [a] violent nationalist rival to the Black Panthers. … It’s as if David Duke invented a holiday called
‘Anglika,’ which he based on the philosophy of ‘Mein Kampf’ — and clueless public schoolteachers began celebrating the made-up, racist holiday.” – Ann Coulter. There is more at the link.
THE VIEW: Since Meghan McCain got sick of their abuse and left the show, the liberal shrews are having trouble finding a replacement. They don’t want an actual conservative who can present logic and data, of course. They just want another pseudo-conservative willing to sit still and take their crap.
I confess to being very uncomfortable with the four-on-one format of this show and Fox’s The Five. It always feels to me like the varsity football squad scrimmaging against a middle school team.
GRAMMY NOTES: Today’s art challenge was “Paint a picture of Santa.” The top one by Bunny is “St. Nicholas feeds the hungry.” The bottom one by Bootz isn’t titled. I’d like to think it’s Santa honoring the Baby Jesus in the manger with Mary and Joseph standing by, which is what Mama tells me she’s working on. But the orange blob that I thought was Jesus is labeled “Santa’s bag.” So I don’t know! LOL

COVID-19: Florida’s new surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, has issued a statewide public service announcement in support of commonsense COVID prevention strategies, like boosting the immune system with zinc, quercitin, and Vitamins C and D. He also supports the use of monoclonal antibodies in acute cases, and as prevention in high-risk patients who have been exposed to COVID-19.
In New York City, essential workers who are vaccinated, but test positive for COVID-19, after they are asymptomatic for 72 hours.
Asymptomatic Vermonters who have gotten a positive rapid test are clogging up emergency rooms and wasting the staff’s time and preventing people who are actually sick from getting prompt care.
Health officials in South Africa have stopped quarantines and contact tracing for asymptomatic cases of COVID-19, saying these measure are “no longer appropriate.”
FEAR: The Left REALLY wants us to believe the virus is Super Duper Dangerous! During an interview, Erin Andrews socially distanced from Aaron Rodgers. When they thought the cameras were off, they hugged. It’s all just theater.
Over the holidays, Dems pushed the “flying unvaxxxed is madness” meme and Fauci says the vaxxx should be required for air travel, even though it wouldn’t make flights safer. But Maxine Waters was caught flying maskless. She even got to NAP without a mask on.
They’re also calling the Omicron “extraordinarily contagious,” but according to Dr. McCullough it’s got an infectivity rating of 4. The original Wuhan strain was a 2; the Delta is a 10.
Fortunately, the Left’s attempts to keep us cowering in our closets are failing. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said 1.7 million travelers were screened at checkpoints across the United States on Christmas Eve, more than twice as many as the 847,000 screened on the same day in 2020.
FILIBUSTER: The Effing Bee is sticking a “fact check” on this graphic. Cuz, it was only SOUTHERN Democrats who held up the Civil Rights Act for 60 days!

GRAMMY NOTES: One of my SkillShare classes taught about drawing a subject, then analyzing what is characteristic about it so it can be simplified into a cute cartoon that is still recognizable as that subject. Making something cute generally involves making it more baby/toddler like –i.e. bigger head, bigger eyes, rounder shapes. I applied these ideas and am really happy with both of my puffins.

TRANS: [5;55] – USA Swimming official Cynthia Millen has resigned in protest over the participation of transgender swimmer Lia Thomas in women’s competitions, saying in the resignation letter she can’t back a sport that allows “biological men to compete against women.” Millen has been involved in the sport for some 30 years.
Comment on this article at Epoch Times: “The fact that female-to-male trannies are competing with (and stealing wins from) bio men speaks volumes.”
VAXXX: The USS Milwaukee (a U.S. Navy warship) has paused its deployment to South America due to a COVID-19 outbreak among its “100 percent immunized” crew. The Navy’s press release says, “A portion of those infected have exhibited mild symptoms. The vaccine continues to demonstrate effectiveness against serious illness.” The statement did not say how many of the crew were infected.
Comment on this story at Epoch Times: “An unvaccinated friend called to let me know that she had COVID. She got it at work from a ‘fully vaccinated’ person (two jabs PLUS a booster) who was the source of the outbreak. She had a very mild case. The ‘fully vaccinated’ person got VERY sick.”
GRAMMY NOTES: Mama Buzz is planning to have the kids do an art project for each of the 12 days of Christmas. The first was, “Depict what the beginning of the holiday season looks like for you.” Bunny’s is the church Nativity and choir singing. Bootz says of his, “Mary and Joseph are sad, because they are cold and hungry. The yellow is the Christmas star. The orange is the evil star.” Further questioning uncovered that the “evil star” is Herod. The lower left is obviously by Mama. Apparently, Buzz wasn’t interested in art.
DECEMBER 25: Joe Heschmeyer writes, “There are popular theories that the December 25 dating was a Christian response to the pagans’ feast of Saturnalia or of Sol Invictus, but neither of these theories seems to work out historically.”
Saturnalia was an ancient Roman feast, but it was celebrated on December 17. Sol Invictus didn’t appear until the third century, but the imperial feast days were August 8, August 9, August 28, and December 11.
According to the article linked below, the selection of December 25 for Christ’s birth is historically rooted in a document from the end of the 2d century CE, in which a couple of church fathers decided that Jesus was both conceived and crucified on March 25. Add nine months, and you get December 25.
In fact, Jesus died on April 3, 33 CE (Nisan 14, 3794 Hebrew). This date was lost for centuries, because historians forgot that the Messianic sect of Essenes celebrated a meat-less Passover on the evening of Nisan 13. This then was when the Jesus and the Apostles ate the Last Supper, which puts Christ’s bloody sacrifice on the same day that the priests in the Temple were preparing the Passover lambs for the traditional Passover Seder on Nisan 14.
There was also a transcription error in an important early document that placed King Herod’s death in 4 BCE, not 1 BCE, which is what the original says. For many hundreds of years, this messed up calculations of his birth year and age at death. However, all of these dating problems disappear completely once you understand about the Essenes and the transcription error.
According to the star maps shown in the DVD, The Star of Bethlehem, Jesus’ birth was on June 17th, 1 BCE. Remarkably, the star maps also show that the Magi showed up at his house precisely on December 25. Since at the time, the date meant nothing in particular to anyone, those early mistakes that set the date we give gifts in His honor is a marvelous God-incidence!

FAUCI: “Does responsibility for the deaths of over 1 million Americans make Tony Fauci a mass murderer? It’s actually worse than that. In Houston, two corruptocrats are facing prison for awarding of multi-million dollar contracts to their cronies. These cases have not gotten national exposure due to the political party of the offenders.
A recent poll suggests there will be record voter turn-out in November and, so far, 23 House veterans of the Dimocrat persuasion have decided not to seek re-election. More such announcements are expected as filing deadlines approach.
LIFE: Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine [R] has signed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act into law, making “abortion manslaughter” a first-degree felony. Abortionists and nurses who fail to attempt to provide life-saving care to a baby delivered alive could face prison time.
MANDATES: In response to a federal appeals court reinstating FAUXTUS’ unconstutional vaxxx mandate, the ACLJ has filed an emergency stay with SCOTUS. The Supremes have ordered the Biden Administration to respond by December 30th.
Also, the U.S. Senate has voted 52-48 in favor of repealing Joe Biden’s federal vaccine mandate for private businesses.
The Oakdale Joint unified School District in California passed a resolution to NOT follow Gavin Newsom’s mandate for all teachers and students to be vaxxxed.
MASKS: An Irish grandmother will spend Christmas in jail after she was handed a six-month sentence for refusing to wear a mask at a restaurant in Bandon, County Cork in the southwest of the country.
NATURAL IMMUNITY: A recent study provides strong evidence that, if you’ve had even a mild case of COVID-19, you more than likely got long-term, possibly life-long immunity.
OMICRON: Dr. McCullough said in the interview I posted yesterday that the Alpha (original Wuhan virus that I believe is largely gone now) had an infectivity rating of two. The widespread Delta variant is a ten, but the new, milder Omicron is only a four. I was sorry to hear him say he thought this meant the Omicron was unlikely to supplant the more problematic Delta. But the Left’s jerknalists aren’t concerned about data or logic. All they care about is promoting fear.
PLAGUE: “Never attribute to conspiracy that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.” — Hanlon’s Razor – Scott Atlas’ book covers his time on the White House COVID Task Force, which he says was marked primarily by incredibly poor leadership.
Dr. McCullough talks about this problem in the interview I posted early yesterday (second link … I hope y’all make time to listen to it). But he also talks about the conspiracy aspect, which I think is definitely there as well. Evil is perfectly happy to use whatever tools come to hand, including the vain, the greedy, and the very stupid.
Washington, DC, is imposing an indoor vaccine mandate for anyone over the age of 12. The new rule will affect numerous businesses and all schools. Many commentators have already characterized the mandate as an overreach of authority which will surely face lawsuits and, hopefully, voter backlash.
PRAISE GOD: When a tornado threatened her home, Clara Lutz put her 15-month-old and 3-month-old grandbabies into the bathtub with a blanket, a pillow, and a Bible. Then the house started shaking and, the next thing she knew, the tub flew away. “All I could say was, ‘Lord please bring my babies back safely. Please, I beg thee,’” she said.
Her house was stripped to the foundation, but the babies were found safe, out in her yard under the now upside down bathtub. One of them had a bump on his head, but otherwise they were fine.
SPIKE PROTEIN: Spike proteins can circulate in your body after infection or injection, causing damage to cells, tissues and organs. Spike protein inhibitors and neutralizers include pine needles, ivermectin, neem, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) and glutathione. The top 10 spike protein detox essentials include vitamin D, vitamin C, nigella seed, quercetin, zinc, curcumin, milk thistle extract, NAC, ivermectin and magnesium.
VAXXX: The “pandemic of the unvaccinated” is a lie. COVID is on the rise in populations that received the shots. In Massachusetts last week, 43% of new cases were among “fully vaccinated” individuals.

Their concerns are being ignored and dismissed.
A research team has published its analysis of publicly available data and calculated that 173% more children have died from the vaccine than from the illness.
A Canadian doctor who was ousted for giving COVID patients ivermectin has expressed concern about the mRNA “vaccines” potentially causing permanent changes in the cells, particularly of children, which have higher levels of reverse transcriptase activity than adult cells do. “This reverse transcriptase takes anything that’s mRNA, and it reverse transcribes it to DNA. Once something has been transcribed to DNA, it can get integrated into the nucleus of the cell … so it can permanently change that cell’s DNA.”

CNN: “It must be very frustrating for CNN. It seems that they can’t just lie about people anymore without getting sued. Covington youth Nicholas Sandmann took them for a bundle, Kyle Rittenhouse is about to take them for another fortune and now a judge has tossed CNN’s request to dismiss a lawsuit from the family of General Flynn. Gee, if everyone CNN lies about sues them, they will soon be bankrupt.” – Steven Ahle

FDA: On Dec. 22, the FDA granted emergency use authorization to Pfizer’s new, early treatment pill for the ‘rona. Paxlovid is intended to help patients not get so sick that they need to be hospitalized.
Kinda like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, right? Except those are cheap, unlike Paxlovid, which costs about $529 per patient. Hydroxychloroquine costs about $30 and Ivermectin is about $45 for a similar number of pills.
The U.S. government is buying $5.29 billion worth of Paxlovid and Pfizer says it has advance purchase agreements with several other countries and has initiated bilateral outreach to approximately 100 countries around the world.
IOW, the FDA, which is entrusted with protecting us and our health from Big Pharma, is ensuring ever more profits for Pfizer, which coincidentally contributes bigly to the FDA budget.
HEROINE: Fortunately, Sydney Raley isn’t among the sit-at-homes of this country. When the 15-year-old Minnesota McDonald’s worker saw a customer in her car was choking, she yelled to her manager to call 911, then jumped through the drive-thru window. She performed the Heimlich Maneuver, saving the woman from a deadly chicken nugget.
JACKBOOTS: The University of California–Irvine School of Medicine has fired the director of its Medical Ethics Program for refusing the vaxxx. Dr. Kheriaty has sued the university for not allowing exceptions for natural immunity.
The U.S. military still hasn’t approved a single religious exemption for the vaxxx.
An increasing number of businesses and other organizations are mandating that workers, customers, or students receive a COVID-19 booster dose.
In Toronto, the Wychwood Barns Farmers Market barred an unvaccinated man from entering the premises to buy food.
Quebec has closed bars, schools, gyms, and movie theaters to all and is requiring churches to bar the unvaxxxed entirely.
Manitoba is allowing churches to permit congregations to include 25% unvaxxxed or 25 unvaxxxed people “whichever is lower.”
The German government is currently debating the creation of a vaccine registry that would facilitate a mandatory vaccination policy similar to Austria’s.
MASKS: [10:04] – Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Dr. Drew Pinsky about how Dr. Fauci lost his trust, how the CDC created vaccine hesitancy, the truth about mask efficacy, how woke culture is creating a climate where doctors are afraid of being cancelled for stating scientific facts. He also shares shocking data on depression in children and child anxiety that should have us all concerned.
NEW YORK: My sucky governor has declared herself a divinely inspired prophet of the One True God. I can hardly contain my excitement. – On Sunday, Dimocrat Kathy Hochul preached from a pulpit in Brooklyn that she “prayed a lot to God during this time and you know what, God did answer our prayers. He made the smartest men and women, the scientists, the doctors, the researchers — he made them come up with a vaccine. That is from God to us and we must say, ‘Thank you, God. Thank you.’” Then she showed off her “I’m vaxxxed” necklace and said those of us who refuse the jab “aren’t listening to God and what God wants.”
RESISTANCE: As the graph above shows, the Left’s Omicron fear porn is failing. Maybe that’s because enough of us have heard that it’s 80% less likely to cause hospitalization than the original and 70% less than the Delta.
Attorneys general (AG) from 24 states have filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration challenging COVID-19 vaccine mandates for early education staff and mask mandates for young children.
On Monday, people gathered outside the New Jersey Statehouse to protest mandates. Six Republican lawmakers refused to show their COVID-19 vaccine card or test and were prevented from going to work.
On Monday, a California judge struck down a vaccine mandate for San Diego students. The decision could potentially have a far-reaching impact on school vaxxx requirements in California.
A global coalition of health and civil society organizations known as the World Council for Health (WCH) has issued a declaration calling for “an immediate stop to the experimental COVID-19 ‘vaccines,’” arguing that the push for mass immunization “violates basic principles of common law, constitutional law and natural justice,” as well as several international treaties.
[2:49] – The YouTube above is a clip from Joe Rogan’s nearly 3 hour interview with Dr. Peter McCullough, MD, MPH, who has had many of his videos and articles banned by the “tolerant” Left. McCullough is a board-certified cardiologist who has testified before committees of the US and Texas Senate regarding the treatment of COVID-19 and management of the ongoing pandemic. I’ve posted about him before.
The full video of his recent, nearly 3-hour interview with Joe Rogan is posted in full at https://open.spotify.com/episode/0aZte37vtFTkYT7b0b04Qz. I realize it’s realllly long, but I swear it is worth the time! His final words are, “There is no bigger, public health crisis than the impact of censorship on COVID-19.”
Re: Things McCullough mentioned
His information about the Kirsch award is slightly inaccurate. The offer is, “If you can prove that the NIH and WHO got their treatment guidelines right, you could win $2M.” It went up May 24, 2021. NOBODY has taken him up on it!

Representative Diana Harshbarger (TN-01) has introduced the “Natural Immunity is Real Act in the House of Representatives. This bill requires Federal agencies to take into account naturally acquired immunity from previous COVID-19 infection when issuing any rules or regulations aimed at protecting from COVID-19.
The link for the T-Detect home test for COVID T-cells is below.
He talks about the effectiveness of dilute Povidone Iodine rinses of the nose, sinuses, and throat in early stages of COVID to knock down the virus. It apparently hangs out in the facial area for several days, so killing it off there before it goes anywhere else is really effective. Povidone is also marketed as Betadine.
You can buy 10% Povidone Iodine OTC (Over The Counter) at any drug store. Amazon has it as well. Ten percent is for topical use on skin; it needs to be diluted to 1% for mouth gargling and nose/sinus spraying. To dilute, add 2 tablespoons of 10% Povidone Iodine to to 12 oz of water. Dr. McCullough recommends routine use of this mouthwash on a daily basis, and especially after contact with large indoor groups as a preventative for all viral infections, and as a must do early treatment for COVID.
I see that Amazon also has a pre-diluted Betadine nasal spray that is insanely expensive. You can get empty nasal spray bottles for $6.50 each, but personally, I’m going to go with my Neil Med SinuFlo system, which is $8.75 for the bottle with two salt packets. For one thing, I already have it. For another, Dr. McCullough said you need to get the iodine up into the sinuses, which takes a lot of oomph and snorting if you’re using a spray bottle.
The Neil Med bottle uses a combination of squirting under pressure and letting gravity fill the sinuses. (A neti pot just uses gravity.) I tip my head over the sink and squirt as much as will go up with one push into the upper nostril and hold my head there until I feel the liquid go into my sinuses on the other side. Then I face down into the sink to drain it out my nose, then do the other side. (Sorry if that’s gross.) There is always enough left after doing both nostrils and sinuses to gargle with. I’ve just been doing salt up until now, because it really helps my chronic allergic rhinitis. Some sites I googled recommend doing both salt and iodine, so it’ll probably be fine if I just use my regular salt mix with the iodine added.
AUSTRIA: The Austrian parliament, led by Christian Democrats, passed a bill Thursday legalizing assisted suicide for people considered terminally ill or disabled.
BLASPHEMY: Gov. Phil Murphy, D-NJ, celebrated a new state policy allowing non-doctors to commit abortions. Murphy describes himself as someone who has spent a “lifetime in the Catholic Church.”
NEW YORK SUCKS: Religious freedom took another hit in New York as a federal judge ruled that a photographer cannot deny her photographing services to same-sex “weddings.” In a video before the ruling, photographer Emilee Carpenter said: “It’s $100,000 fines, it’s jail time, it’s ultimately the closure of my business, and as an entrepreneur, that’s extremely terrifying knowing that my livelihood could be stripped out from under me because I’m being forced to create a message that I disagree with.”
SPIDER MAN: NO WAY HOME – The latest incarnation of the superhero movie ignored wokeness and hauled in $253 million in its opening weekend. John Nolte of Brietbart wrote: “Newsflash: If you make a decent movie that seeks to entertain and move — instead of lecture and shame — we will show up.”
TRANS: In Illinois, the male pastor of a liberal Lutheran church dressed in drag and preached to a group of masked children about how “liberation from oppressive laws clears a path for joy.” Hmmm … does this mean they can take their face diapers off now?
In Texas, conservative activists and local parents made enough of a stink about Children’s Medical Center and UT Southwestern’s “gender clinic” that the hospital has shut it down. In a statement to media outlets, said that they will continue to accept new patients for evaluations of gender dysphoria, but will no longer offer transgender hormone drugs.
GRAMMY NOTES: I made this Christmas pageant angel card to put in my box of crafted (and not done yet!) presents for Texas. Fortunately, we’re Catholic, so I’ve still got 43 days before they’re late for Christmas. 🙂
