Democratic Whip, Senator Dick Durbin reported that President Trump called some countries “s**tholes” during an immigration meeting with members of Congress.
Other senators who were at the immigration meeting with Durbin and Trump have said they don’t recall Trump saying “s***hole.”
Sen. Chuck Schumer took their statements as a direct assault on Durbin’s integrity.
Well, dang, Chuck. It’s not like Durbin doesn’t have a history of lying and talking trash about Republicans.Let’s consider for example his recent claim that President Trump’s remarks “werehate filled, vile and racist.”

He was forced to get up on the Senate floor again, to apologize, but his apology wasn’t what you’d call “sincere.” His exact words:
“Some may believe that my remarks crossed the line. To them, I extend my heartfelt apologies.”

In 2013, Durbin was caught straight up lying, alleging that one GOP congressional leader told President Obama, “I can’t even stand to look at you.”

As for Durbin’s high dudgeon over President Trump calling “chain migration” by the term “chain migration”, puh-leeze. The term “chain migration” has been part of the vernacular surrounding the immigration debate for decades. Suddenly, Durbin decides it’s a racist dog whistle?
“African-Americans believe they migrated to America in chains and when you talk about chain migration, it hurts them personally.”
What a hypocrite.In 2010, Durbin supported chain migration, using that exact term, in his Senate speech about the Dream Act.

Harris spent $10,000 on vacations, including a cruise ship getaway, and shopped at Victoria’s Secret with her dirty money, authorities charged Tuesday.
And she allegedly urged witnesses to lie to the FBI in a failed cover-up of her crimes.
Harris looted some $60,000 in state and federal funds in several scams, including Federal Emergency Management Agency money for “temporary housing assistance” after the hurricane, officials charged.
Harris, 57, is a former correction officer and previously served as head of a Coney Island non-profit. She was accused of stealing $34,000 in cash provided by the City Council to pay rent for her group.

An Obama-era plan to have the federal government finance half of a $13 billion rail tunnel project ran into a red light Friday from the Trump administration.
The original Obama-era plan called for costs to be split among New York state, New Jersey and the federal government.
But in a letter Friday, the Trump administration notified New York and New Jersey that the Obama-era deal was now “non-existent” because the states recently requested that their portions be covered by loans from the federal government — meaning Washington would supply all of the initial funding for what the Trump White House is calling “a local project.”

White House to remove historic Jackson Magnolia The Jackson Magnolia that’s been in place behind the White House since the 1800s will be cut down, according to a report.

The NFL announced Tuesday that the final “Sunday Night Football” game of the season has been canceled, according to CNN. The league had yet to announce who would play during the primetime game next Sunday, but with the chance that none of the matchups would have playoff implications for one or both of the teams, they opted not to schedule the game. The other problem the league faced was broadcasting a game on New Year’s Eve, which would invite lower number of viewers traditionally on that night. Instead, fans can settle in for seven games at kick-off at 1 p.m. eastern Sunday and a total of 9 games starting at 4:25 p.m. eastern time.

Democratic representative Bobby Rush is being sued for $1 million after failing to make payments on a loan he received for a church he founded in his home district in Illinois.
A wellness center linked to the church has also collected more than $2.6 million in taxpayer-funded government grants in 2017 and more than $17 million in grants since 2008, according to records.
