Congressman Trent Franks wrote today at Townhall [excerpts]:
The North Korean dictatorship boasted that they have tested a hydrogen bomb underground in September.
Such a hydrogen bomb has the power to destroy Manhattan, killing 8.5 million New York City residents in a couple of seconds.
But, there is a prospect potentially even more deadly and terrifying.
A hydrogen bomb, exploded within Earth’s atmosphere over a central location like Kansas, would emit an electromagnetic pulse that could destroy electronic devices for thousands of miles.
This could include all the devices we regularly depend upon that require electronics to function – vehicles, our water and plumbing systems, heating and air conditioning, refrigeration… just to name a few.

As of now, we do not have sufficient hardware fixes to prevent such a detonation from damaging or destroying our electric grid.
It is also imperative that we do what is necessary to dismantle North Korea’s nuclear capability and prevent Iran from gaining such capability. These dangerous and escalating situations cannot be allowed to continue on their present path under any circumstances.
The time for naiveté is over. Congress must act now to allocate the appropriate funds so we can be prepared for an EMP attack on American soil.

So much to do. Where to start?
There was an interesting post at Gateway Pundit this morning.
The Question Must Be Asked: Who Did Deep State Catch AG Jeff Sessions in Bed With?
But what has happened with the swamp?
The answer lies with President Trump’s Attorney General. Day after day, since he was sworn in as AG, Jeff Sessions has failed his President and the American people.
In July, after his son in law was brought in for questioning related to the fake Russia collusion story about President Trump having ties with the Russians, the President fired off at his AG. He started by tweeting – Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump campaign – “quietly working to boost Clinton.” So where is the investigation A.G.
The Question Must Be Asked: Who Did Deep State Catch AG Jeff Sessions in Bed With?
SESSIONS HAS BEEN THE BITTEREST DISAPPOINTMENT.
Apparently his collegiality with his former democrat senate buddies precludes him carrying out his prosecutorial duties. Lord knows there should be subpeonas flying over the Russian Dossier and Uranium sales treason. But he won’t budge. He needs to be dismissed if he can’t find it in his heart to do his job.

Actually, he didn’t. Doing so would make billions available for use to combat opioid abuse. However, he gave an impassioned speech about the brother he lost to this disease. Trump declares opioid epidemic the worst drug crisis in American history.

Rosie O’Donnell: ‘I may not survive Trump presidency’
‘I seriously worry whether I will be able to live through his presidency,’ said Rosie O’Donnell in her first interview since President Trump won the election.
She said that she was so sure Hillary Clinton was going to win, ‘I literally felt such sorrow inside of me that these people were so deluded,’ she said after seeing Trump’s children tell their kids ‘Grandpa’ was going to win.

McConnell Advances Six Judicial Nominees, Base and Republicans Push for More
Senate Republicans confirmed one federal judge on Thursday and set the stage to confirm five more judges next week, including to federal appeals courts across the nation. While these are victories for President Donald Trump, conservatives caution senators that this week’s developments are a good start, but not enough to satisfy them when it comes to the federal courts.
Rep. Frederica Wilson (Dem-Florida) Has Been Missing From Congress For Days, Her Excuse Blames Trump Backlash

The Democrat from Miami was all over the media last week condemning the president for a condolence call he made to the wife of Sgt. La David Johnson, who was killed in an Oct. 4 ambush in Niger. But after creating a torrential firestorm with her attacks, the lawmaker found herself the target of ongoing threats against her, the Miami Herald reported Wednesday. She has since missed 19 votes between Monday, Oct. 23 and Wednesday, Oct. 25, according to the Miami Herald.

FBI Informant’s Lawyer — Obama Admin ‘Threatened’ My Client And His Career
Victoria Toensing, the lawyer for the informant, told The Daily Caller’s Vince Coglianese that Obama Justice Department lawyers told her client that “his reputation and liberty [was] in jeopardy” if he did not drop a lawsuit against the government.
On Wednesday, the Trump Justice Department released the informant from a confidentiality agreement, clearing the way for him to testify before several congressional committees about his undercover work at Uranium One, a Canada-based energy company that has ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton and their family foundation.

Two of our founders, Bob and Frankly, have been playing SCRABBLE for years. They recently noticed a game had developed a theme and decided to try and play it out without straying from said theme. I think the result explains a lot about PoliNation. ::snerk::

I used to be part of their games until my puter got too far behind the trailing edge of technology. I’ve got a new-old puter, Daddy Buzz’s previously owned laptop that he outfitted for on-line gaming. I’m hoping it’ll be more than up to the challenge of dumb ol’ Facebook SCRABBLE! Now if I could just muster enough Hyphenated brain cells to get it set up …
The Alt-Right is a very small, white nationalist movement that actually has far more in common with the Left than it does with the Conservative Right it opposes. Like the Left, it is obsessed with race, rejects God, and disdains the individual.

The complicit media still steadfastly refuses to acknowledge that the democrats and the Clinton campaign committed multiple felonies in their quest to win the presidency/destroy Donald Trump with the use of a phony dossier, paid for by the DNC and the Clinton’s which was then used to obtain legal/illegal FISA warrants to unlawfully investigate people in Trump’s orbit. Will anybody pay a price for these illegal acts of subversion and, in the case of the uranium sellout, treason? They will not. We’ve known how completely corrupt the Clintons are, have been for decades, and nothing has ever touched them. They are, for lack of a better term, above the law.
Clinton Campaign Lied About Funding the Trump Dossier
Clintons, DNC, FBI, & Media All Found Colluding With Russia Against Trump

Multiple media outlets now reporting that the Hillary Clinton campaign coordinated with Fusion GPS, a D.C. based political opo research firm, to create and then distribute the infamous “Trump dossier” that attempted to spread salacious fabrications against Donald Trump and his campaign. This false dossier was then used to wage the equally false Trump-Russia investigation that is still ongoing in Congress.
Whispers indicate many high-placed figures in the Establishment Media already knew this. Not only did they refuse to report on it, but they knowingly continued reporting on the false premise of the Trump-Russia investigation
Why doesn’t Hillary’s ‘dossier’ trick count as treason?

Just last summer, when it was reported that Donald Trump Jr. had met with a Kremlin-linked Russian lawyer who claimed to be in possession of damaging information about Clinton, there was widespread condemnation and shouts of treason. But Trump Jr. did not seek out, hire anyone, pay for, or accept the information.
The Clinton campaign did all of that, then leaked the fake dossier to their friends in the pro-Clinton, anti-Trump media, which ignored the tainted source and reported on it gleefully. Then the Obama administration used it to justify a FISA warrant to tap a Trump adviser.

Democrat critics of Donald Trump LOVED Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. They were sure it would prove Russia colluded with the Republicans to wreck Hillary’s bid for the White House. They sniggered about how many more days Donald Trump would last before he was impeached.
It’s not quite working out that way as Hillary moves to the center of Mueller’s search for a Russian connection.

Tammy Bruce: CNN’s latest, desperate attempt to hammer Trump is mind-boggling
Reaching deep in their drawer of smug, CNN unleashed a “Facts First” initiative, starting with an ad featuring an apple, with a voice-over warning viewers that some awful, yet unnamed, person or network is trying to convince you the apple is a banana.
What CNN reveals with this abject sanctimony is their contempt for the viewers themselves
This is 30 seconds of CNN condescendingly treating news consumers as idiots, unable to judge for themselves. Think about this: Someone at CNN thought it would be a great idea to suggest people who don’t trust CNN are either brainwashed or just plain stupid.
DOJ Lifts Gag Order: FBI Informant Can Speak About Clinton’s Uranium One Deal
I WOULDN’T WANT TO BE THIS WITNESS. PEOPLE TESTIFYING AGAINST THE CLINTONS TEND TO MEET UNTIMELY ENDS. THAT’S NOT HYPERBOLE, THAT’S A FACT.
Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.
Democrats’ Russia Narrative Spiraling Out Of Control

Prominent Democrats are now scrambling to distance themselves from the revelations. The DNC released a carefully-worded statement meant to distance current party leader from the dossier. The “new leadership” of the DNC, the statement said, was not involved with the dossier.

MENLO PARK, CA—Facebook has once again updated its privacy policy for its users, replacing the long and complex text spelling out all the ways the company can use your personal data with the term “LOL,” the tech behemoth confirmed Monday.
“We wanted to be more forthright with our users,” Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told reporters. “We could give you this boring tome of legalese, or we could simply put it in terms everyone can understand. The popular internet abbreviation for ‘laughing out loud’ is an accurate, concise summary of how we feel about your private data.”
“It’s short, sweet, and to the point,” he added.
Users joining the site for the first time are asked to read the three-letter privacy policy in its entirety before clicking “accept” to acknowledge that the social networking company just laughs its collective keister off at the notion of any Facebook user having any kind of privacy whatsoever.
In a bid for transparency, the social network further updated its policy page on shutting down pages and profiles Facebook officials deem offensive or intolerant to simply display a picture of Big Brother from George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984, sources confirmed at publishing time.
