MY LIST OF RESENTMENTS

Posted by Pistol Pete

I had every intention of making this my last post.I was as heartbroken as any of you after the catastrophe of this week.I’d planned to divorce myself from politics and turn my computer into a solitaire game-playing machine.I was heartened by some of the comments that have been posted here the last two days and realized you don’t lose until you give up.You people have helped me through some extremely difficult times in my life and giving up would turn me into what I despise the most.It may be awhile until the sense of loss diminishes and the mourning period ends.Until then I’ve come up with an extensive list of things I resent.Consider this an open thread if you want to add anything you resent.

I RESENT

Being forced to see his vile countenance everywhere, smiling that chesire cat smile and lying openly, knowing half the populace will either believe him or don’t care and those who do care can’t do anything about it.He knows the press will never call him on it.

Him bellowing about bringing the parties together to work for the American people.I am fluent in Obamaspeak so loosely translated it means:I won again, you can’t do dick to stop me and you white motherfuckers can kiss my entire black ass.

His  porcine broodsow  issuing edicts on what wholly inedible foodstuffs our schools  must feed our children while she stuffs anything not moving in her cavernous maw.

Being regaled with her taxpayer-funded junkets around the world and the media swooning over how beautiful a camel can look in designer clothes.

Mia Love lost her bid for the House.

Allen West was redistricted out of his seat with the help of some voting chicanery.

That odiferous turd Alan Grayson is back.

Mourdock lost his Senate bid not so much because he said something sophomoric, but Dickless Lugar wanted payback for being primaried out.

Akin lost to a corrupt bitch in Missouri not so much because he stepped on his penis, but the GOP and Rove cut and ran leaving him to fend for himself against a filthy pig with abundant rescources.

Harry the Toad is trying to eliminate the filibuster so he can play the Keeper of the Realm.

The state of Israel is on its own since Barry would ask for a UN resolution of condemnation if Iran launched a nuclear attack. He has promised aid to Israel and we all know what his word is worth. He got 68% of the Jewish vote.

Hundreds of thousands of overseas military ballots arrived a day too late to be counted. They would have swung enough swing states to make Romney the president.

Three million white voters stayed home. The vote total McCain got in 2008 would have beaten Obama, who got two million less votes than he got in his first election.Maybe some were just tired of the mushy moderates we’ve had to swallow since 1988.Ron Paul voters are also suspect.

Our gallant military will be sliced to pieces by a CIC who openly despises them.

Veterans who have earned their benefits will be shown the back of Barry’s hand.

That gutless milksop John Boehner has already surrendered, telling Obastard he’s open to raising taxes in exchange for imaginary spending cuts everybody knows will never happen.

Tingles expressing his gratitude that Hurricane Sandy killed scores of people and destroyed millions of lives so his living god could look presidential and bipartisan thanks to governor Krispy Kreme. He can now spend the next four years cleaning his messiah’s sphincter with his tongue.

The day will come when we look back on when gas was $4.00 and refer to them as the good old days.

We were pushed over the cliff and into the abyss by dead-enders who have surrendered their dignity and self-respect in exchange for a life of Nanny Government giving them a lot of free stuff and making their decisions for them. They don’t give a damn about the deficit, taxes(they don’t pay any), unemployment(who wants to work?), health insurance(they get theirs free), or anybody that actually has skin in the game.

With our 2014 tax returns we will get a form to fill out listing any medical conditions you have, what medications you take and the name and contact information of your insurance carrier. If,like me,you have no insurance, you will pay a hefty fine and be placed in a government program.

The GOP-e is in the process of eliminating or marginalizing the Tea Party class of 2010 so they can go back to having circle jerk parties with the democrat buddies they split the taxpayer and lobbyist pies with.

My grandchildren may never have a good-paying full-time job or know what it’s like to be self-sufficient.

There will be another Republican president one day,but I may not live long enough to see it.I just wish I could see the country I love returned to a modicum of its former greatness before I lay my burden down for the last time.

If you have anymore feel free to post.I’ll be back sometime.

We need real leadership in Washington

Romney was a successful Republican governor in a Democrat-majority state [:32]

Obama doesn’t even work with his own people, never mind Republicans.

The people can smell it for what it is

Reid Accuses Romney of tax evasion on Senate floor [:49]

Senator Harry Reid was born in Searchlight, Nevada, in 1939. His boyhood home had no indoor toilet, hot water or telephone. He met his wife in high school. They married in his Mormon church in 1959 when he was about 20 and she was about 19. Her family (Jewish) disapproved. After school, he practiced law briefly, then got into politics and stayed.

1969-1970: Nevada state assembly

1970-74: Nevada lieutenant governor

1977–81: Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission

1982-86: U.S. House of Representatives

1986 – present: U.S. Senate

The five Reid children all went to college and three of them went to law school as well. Since Reid grew up poor and worked his way through law school, one might wonder where he managed to come up with the bucks to educate five kids to that degree when he has been working for a government salary since shortly after graduating from law school.

Keep wondering, because Harry Reid refuses to release his tax returns.

Best guess, he is currently worth somewhere between $2.6 and $5 million. That is quite a rise for a man who endlessly reminds us he was born poor and whose salaries have been a matter of public record for the past 43 years. His peak salary in politics is now where, as Senate Majority Leader, he is paid $193,400.

I refuse to say he EARNS $193,400, because he is largely responsible for the fact that the Senate has not passed a federal budget in three years. Since passing a budget is pretty much Job One for the U.S. Congress, you can appreciate my reluctance to give Reid credit for earning his exorbitant salary.

How does a man who’s only “product” is legislation manage to sock away millions? And how does a LAWYER (who himself refuses to disclose his finances and whose party leader refuses to disclose any of his personal documents) actually stand on the floor of the United States Senate and accuse Mitt Romney, MINUS ANY ACTUAL EVIDENCE, of being a tax cheat simply because he won’t do what Reid himself won’t do?

Senator Reid, until I see evidence to the contrary, I am going to ASSUME … MINUS EVIDENCE … that you enriched yourself off your government position, through cronyism and other backroom dealings.

Check out who else is on the Hypocrisy Train with Reid in suggesting Romney must be a tax criminal because he refuses to lay his finances out for all the world to see …

  •     Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader, refuses to release her financial information. Pelosi said Romney’s refusal to release more than two years of his personal tax returns makes him unfit to hold high office.
  •     Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, refuses to release her financial information. She accused Romeny of showing a “penchant for secrecy.”
  •     Missouri Democrat and Obama groupie Claire McCaskill is one of only 17 members of Congress who have shared more than the minimum financial disclosure required by law. However, since she filed separately from her wealthy spouse, her “disclosed” financials show only her salary. Remember what Reid said about Romney’s investments in Bermuda being evidence of tax dodging?  One guess which Missouri Democrat has a wealthy spouse with investments in Bermuda.

Thankfully, Mitt is refusing to be cowed or bowed by any of this bull crap. I’m loving this guy more and more!

Barely a blip UPDATED

July 29, 2012: DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz on “Face the Nation” (CBS)

After Dismal GDP Report, DNC Chair Says Things Are Turning Around [:40]

Let’s just put two things she says in context.

About the economy having contracted just before Obama took office … that contraction happened two years after DEMOCRATS took over majority control in Washington, during the two year period when Obama was in the Senate.

As for the “twelfth straight quarter of growth”, may I just say Big Freakin’ Whoop about that? She’s talking about increases in the GDP that are so small, they barely register on the only graph I really understand and care about, which is this one showing what percentage of Americans have JOBS.

Do Democrats do ANY work?

Rand Paul gave a scathing rebuke to the Democrat-majority Senate on Friday for not giving anyone time to read the bills they bring up for vote.

As evidence, he held up a 600-page bill they’d gotten that same morning and were going to vote on in 30 minutes!

The Senate’s own rules say that bills have to be posted online for at least 48 hours before being voted on, but this 600-page violation had stuff that had been stuck into it the night before that had nothing to do with the bill itself!

Paul announced he had presented a bill to Congress that says legislators should read the bills before we pass them.

Somebody has to place a bill before Congress saying that Congress should DO ITS JOB?

No wonder their approval rating is in the toilet!

Paul also reminded everyone that the Democrat leadership has not produced a budget in three years. That’s also against the rules.

They bitch about how “obstructionist” Republicans are, but even when Republicans wrote a budget FOR them, they refused to vote on it.

Senator Paul was definitely frustrated as he asked,

“How are we going to get to compromise if they don’t show up for work? How are we going to get anything done if they don’t obey their own rules?”

Send in the Clowns

On Tuesday, a reporter asked Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid a serious question about immigration reform. Reid didn’t like the question and didn’t want to respond. So he dissed the reporter.

Reid: That’s a clown question, bro. [:07]

Reid’s line harkened to an oft-repeated quip — “That’s a clown question, bro” — by Bryce Harper — the Nationals’ 19-year-old outfielder — in response to a question about what his favorite beer is.

Harper is a Mormon, Mormons don’t drink, so clearly Harper had a point. The reporter who asked him about his favorite beer had not done his homework.

But the question the reporter asked the SENATE MAJORITY LEADER was a serious one.

Sadly, Reid got a laugh at the time. Even more sadly, the Laughing Stock Media is reporting NOT on how he rudely mocked a reporter’s legitimate question, but how cute and clever he was to quote Harper’s line.

Immigration is not a small issue. Especially since last Friday, when President Obama issued an executive order suspending deportation of hundreds of thousands of young illegal immigrants and making them all eligible for work visas.

IOW, Obama did an end run around Congress, whose Constitutionally-defined JOB it is MAKE laws about things like immigration. He officially instructed INS to NOT enforce the laws that Congress has passed and a President has signed into law. He alone. All by himself. All hail the Clown King, Barack Obama!

I couldn’t find the question part at YouTube, but it is embedded here. You can also see how long it takes Reid to answer.

http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2012/06/19/Harry-Reid-Shuts-Down-Reporter-That-A-Clown-Question%20Bro

I also was not able to find the identity of the reporter. I’m itching to know if he is Black. After a White reporter spoke out of turn in the Rose Garden last Friday, the MSM cast all their stories about racial disrespect, conveniently ignoring the content of Obama’s announcement … which was that he was telling INS to ignore the law.

There is an odd symmetry here, isn’t there? The reporter Reid dissed asked what Reid, as the head honcho of the Senate, was planning to do about Obama’s end run on immigration. If it had been a Republican president, Reid would’ve welcomed the chance to castigate this bare knuckled power grab. Instead, he slaps down the reporter with a disrespectful quip.

Let’s just suppose it had been a Republican President who told INS not to enforce the law and a White Republican Senate Majority Leader who slapped down a Black reporter asking the same question. Would the media be chuckling about a clever quip? Or would they be going into the latest round of “Oh. My. God. Republicans are all RAAAACISTS!”

I’m just saying.

Democrats oppose lowering health care costs

Click on graphics to embiggen.

Last week, the House passed a law that would eliminate this ObamaCare tax.

Chrissy’s Site Bites @ http://news.webshots.com/photo/2409703920056011884kfAdOL

The Yays were bipartisan. The Nays were Democrat only. Given the Dem opposition, even if this passes the Senate, I’m doubtful BHO will sign it. It might survive a House vote to overturn a veto, but not a Senate vote.

Still, I thought it worth while to graphic and get it out there for those Indies who are wondering which side they’re going to support in November. It gives the lie to a bunch of Democrat claims – that they are all about bipartisanship and helping out the little people and that Republicans are obstructionists who only care about the rich.

Really? Then why are the only NAY votes from the Democrats? And why are so many Democrats opposed to reducing health care costs for the people in the middle income brackets who most need and want these ObamaCare things repealed? Do they really believe that a tax on band-aids and tampons is going to HELP the really poor? Or that relieving this burden is about pandering to the rich? Puh-leeze.

And get a load of their contraception and gay rights hypocrisy … this tax includes condoms and diaphragms!

The Misery of Democrat Leadership

Click on graphics to embiggen.

During the twelve years of Republican leadership, the highest unemployment rate was 6.3%, which lasted for only one month in 2003. During the last month that Republicans held majority control, unemployment was 4.4%.

After Democrats took majority control of the federal government in January 2007 and during the last two years of Bush’s tenure, unemployment rose from 4.4% to 7.3%. In January 2009, when Obama moved into the Oval Office, unemployment stood at 7.8% and has been at or above 8.1% for all 40 months since. For 28 of those 40 months, unemployment stood between 9.0% and 10.0%.

Do you need any other reason to vote for Republicans this fall?

2012_05 Democrat leadership equals human misery
